Homework is easy, but time consuming. Only 3 tests. All scantron. Tests are difficult. Curve helps a lot. Funny guy. Class can get boring. Not his fault though. Too many people who didn't read and spend too much time asking stupid questions.

Hard tests, love to teach, be prepare to stay late for his class since he always go over class time.

The course is really tough due to the nature of the subject. He is a very cool teacher and so willing to help with anything.

Great character, great teacher. If you are up for the challenge, take this guy because he inspires and makes a tough subject fun. But fun does not always mean easy, so be sure you want the work. Learn spanish, he will be impressed.

I love him! Coolest teacher EVER! You really have to study hard for his tests, even with curve it's tough to do well, but you will learn more than in any other class! He is really fun too, time flies by in his class

Quninones is awesome! He cracked me up every day, is a wonderful teacher and a great person also. His tests are KILLER, and you have to go to class everyday, but I really enjoyed it and learned a lot! I'd LOVE to take him again!

hard teacher but its your moneys worth. meaning, his lessons are very valuable if youre a law major. hard tests, even with a curve. hw assignments that take about 5 hrs to do and research (due every week). must go to class. participation a must.

Cool guy, wants you to learn will repeat if necessary,there is alot of assignments(they are for your own good) hard at first work load will decrease later. he is funny and gives stupid examples you will remember! TAKE IT!!!

THe class is really difficult but interesting and practical material. YOu will have to do a lot of studying in this class. His tests are very hard multiple choice where you need to apply the information to scenerios. They are curved so u get a better grade than expected.

I took him for case law. I tried to avoid him from all of the horror stories, but people his class is not hard. Go to class and study and you'll do fine. He's a great teacher.

He's class it tough. There is a lot of reading and studiying but he's will do whatever it takes to help you learn and understand. He is HILARIOUS in class. He's completely uncensored so at least there is never a dull moment in his class.

Hard but fair, and cares a lot about the subject. He likes himself a little bit too much, but I'll forgive him for that becuase I like him too, and so do most of the students. If you care about your education you should take this class.

Quinones is an amazing professor. He is by far my favorite teacher at LMU. I took him for 205 and 301, and want to take him for everything i can. You will work hard, but learn so much. 2 midtems, and a final. all worth the same, not cumulative. very fair, willing to help his students-but sooo busy. tells stories to relate to his students.

Best teacher I've had in my 4 semesters so far. Crams a lot of material in your head during class so it's a bad idea to miss class but he explains things so the material is easy to understand. Lots of memorization but he keeps class fun and interesting.

quinones is truly an amazing teacher and wonderful person. blaw is a difficult class but he makes it as interesting as possible. he hates it when the class is too serious so he tries to crack jokes a lot. the class is a lot of work but he offers a time to make-up missed assignments and is definitely willing to compromise with students. take him!

this class was amazing! it is probably the hardest class you will take sophomore year but he definitely makes it interesting, i would take another law class with him in a heartbeat! 3 test and there are big curves on all, lots of reading and work but i found it kind of interesting. funny guy and sometimes goes off on tangents, but you gottatake him

I took Quinones sophomore year (I'm a senior now) and he is probably the best teacher I ever had (he's won teacher of the year 5+ times and with good reason). The class is difficult, but he'll go out of his way to help you on anything. He is an awesome guy-- understanding, funny, caring, and passionate about his subject. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Quinones is an absolutely amazing professor. Any business student looking to take care of the B-Law requirement would be making a huge mistake not to take him. It is true that he does assign a large workload and his tests are difficult, but you learn more in this class than in any other. Also, IT'S CURVED

Does a great job presenting material. Tests are difficult, you can't just memorize the material, you must understand it. HW counts for your grade as well as a periodical review which everyone gets an A on. I would recommend him for your BLAW. requirement.

life changing class. honestly, i added blaw as my emphasis after taking this class. quinones will teach you so much. i took this class last semester and am still raving about it. tests are tough so studying the night before is definitely not a good idea. his passion for law rubs off and gets you excited about what you're learning. Awesome professor! Makes a hard subject that no one really wants to take really interesting and fun. He loves you if you talk a lot in class and he really cares about ALL his students. I highly recommend him and I would definitely take him again even though BLAW isn't my major.

Tips: Study like you've never studied before. Memorize the entire chapter and the pages in the supplementary book. Do this, go to class, and you'll be fine. Also do the homework and case briefs in detail - it'll help you tremendously on the tests.

This professor made the material extremely interesting and applicable. He was funny, nice, and understanding. He runs his classroom very systematically, and really cares about being a good teacher. That being said, study a lot. Make extensive guides, take good notes, pay attention and you will do fine.

Attendance is not required, but you need the lecture notes to pass the class. He is one of the best professors I've ever had, really cares about the students are how you are feeling. This is literally the best teacher I've ever had in my life. At the end of the semester you walk out his class 100% smarter than you were when you started. This guy is passionate about what he does and takes the time to develop a personal relationship with his students. It's due to this class and his influence that I now want to go to law school.
