not a hard class at all, watched 4 movies-remember the titans, gung ho, the emperors club, and jeremiah johnson... took multiple choice tests--easy A

I had Mr. Schmitt and I enjoyed his class. He was a great teacher and the class was an easy A. There was no way anyone should earn less than an A. The group project was a lot of work but was also an easy A. Would definitely recommend him :)

Class is quite easy if you do your share of the work. test are open book and you are encouraged to work with others on it. little work is done in this class. easiest class i've taken so far.

This was a great class! Schmitt is awesome! He's so funny, and as long as you come to class, and take his easy open book tests, you'll do very well in the class. And if you don't do well on a quiz or test he offers tons of extra credit! You would have to be a lazy idiot to not get a A in this class.

I took this class in the summer as guest student from CMU and it was a breeze. The THREE week option in the fist summer semester is the BEST. I didn't even do one of the papers and still got a 95% without ever studying. The movies are way better than lecturing and you can apply the stuff you learn. HE's QUITE THE TRIP!

Very intelligent and can spread his knowledge in clever ways. Lectures are actually interesting!

Ralph was a nice guy for the most part! He always seems to be ticked off at the world but, made for very well lectures and great stories. i learned alot of info in his class and i would tell people to take him.

If this is the field you are going into and this is the basis on which you need to build your education-TAKE ANOTHER TEACHER. So dissapointing, even Schmit hates teaching 1010. Teacher has great way to demonstrate basic principles MOVIES but drops the ball because he lectures on non related slides. So SAD, he has forgotten why he became a teacher.

I skipped like 6 classes still managed to get an A the tests are all open book or take home and we watch movies..... HOW DO YOU PEOPLE FAIL AT THAT. I had a pretty tough semester but this class was a good break and made my day.

I have taken many classes w/ him and I will be taking 2 more this upcoming semester. He is a great prof. The hardest thing in all of his classes is to still w/o laughing my *** off at the jokes. Very enjoyable class to attend!!!!

Mr. Schmit is a wonderful teacher. He makes class fun while teaching.

Mr Schmitt, is a great teacher. You have to read the notes for his homemade textbook. Also, pay attention to the lectures. If you come to class every day, you will do fine. He was overall one of my favorite teachers at Macomb!!!!! He gives out extra credit to help boost your grade, even if you really don't need it.

Professor Schmitt was the best teacher I had at macomb. I loved his stories and for anyone to say anything bad about him makes me mad. He gives tons of extra credit and if you dont get an A in his class you didn't try. I will never forget him.... Here is your chili pepper for being hot, Santa, lol......

Great Teacher

LOVE HIM!!! i had him for 3 classes and i made sure of that!! made class fun with his jokes wasnt boring at anytime

highly recommend if you want to learn. don't take him if your goal is to be a looser.

Prof Schmitt will keep you on your toes! Human relations is about "thinking out of the box". If you have no back bone or brains, don't take him. If you can challange yourself and ideals, then this is the prof. for you! He is great for tieing all of the movies and work together. Do not mistake his gruff for being mean, it is his style...

EXCELLANT TEACHER

Schmitt is a good teacher who enjoys his job. He worked for Ford for a long time and has the credentials. He keeps class interresting and his lectures aren't bad.

some classes have open book, take home tests. He also has a witty sense of humor.

This Guy was by far the best teacher I ever had. He's really funny. The class was easy, you watched movies that went along with what you were learning, We did use our books, wasn't hard, it just helped. His class was great, and He is an wonderful person, his morals and thoughts on life were just all around amazing. I Recommend taking him!

Prof Schmitt invoked the essence of Human Relations. He challenged us to think about the other side of the fence and how to respect it. He is witty, enticing, and never predictable, but that is what opens us to another's world. Hey! Santa rocks...

Schmitt is the****!! He's a great teacher that doesn't pile on homework and you still learn in his class! Movies are great it's def. an enjoyable atmosphere when you're in his class! More professors need to learn from this man! And the plus factor is he looks like santa...come on who wouldn't want their professor to look like santa?

I had this guy for 3 classes this semester. He is real laid back and he keeps it real. His chicken scratch and lingo can be confusing at times but he gives it to you straight up. Glad I had his classes.

Very easy and was a great teacher. We watched movies, pretty much every class - but the movie went along with what was being learned. Didn't hand back assignments, but you never really need to. Gave out extra credit a lot. Related class subjects to real life. He is very laid back but does not take any ****. Do not take if you do attend class.

If you want to learn "by the book" this class isn't for you. If you want to be taught in a creative non tradional manner take him. Class wasn't boring, movies related to text and encourage thought. I took the spring class in 3 weeks and did well. Will take this prof. again.

This is the 2nd class I've had of his and if you don't like this guy then you probably did something to tick him off. He's a good teacher and doesn't go through the book much. He's laid back but if you actually listen to what he's saying then it should make sense. It's an easy A because he wants you to succeed.

People who are in school because they enjoy it will like this professor. People who are just there to get graded and see it as a chore will not like this guy. He holds great classes, but you have to be willing to do your work.

Interesting way of teaching management lessons through movies. His years of experience are evident. Show up, participate in class discussions, turn in your assisgnments and its easy. Tests are open book, but you need to know your stuff.

A great prof. if you like to sit back and enjoy the classroom experience. He is a different kind of teacher for sure. He likes to use discussion and movies to teach and it works! Wish he taught another class I need.

This class seems on the surface to be hard, but go to class, pay attention and do all the work, you'll do fine. Prof. has a different way of teaching. But who wants to sit in a class and be bored. Open minded people will like it. Others won't. Don't take anything too personal.

Open book tests and exams.We watched movies and did small assignments on them. You had to pick out the different emotions on the characters. EASY A! Best teacher ever!

The only hard thing about this class is the fact that attendance counts. Easiest class ever, like taking candy from a baby. Prof is quite funny also. If ppl. don't get out this class with an A, that it's their fault.
