The course material is fine. The teachers tries too hard. And that's something I'm not complaining about. However, a speech therapist could help him a little bit in class communication.

He's very understanding of how your personal life doesn't always go as planned and offers reasonable compromises on assignments. He always offers Saturday tutoring. He definitely doesn't see this as just a job. If you work hard he'll give you a chance. Recommended to anyone who wants to really learn the math and not just get through it.

He's a professor that is willing to give his students chances to make and keep a good grade as long as they work hard and study for it. Also provides detailed handwritten notes for you to download. If you read the notes, go over the textbook, do the math labs, and participate in his lectures then there's no way you can fail!

Attendance is not mandatory, but to pass the class you may want to be there every day. He made himself available for extra help for the class on the weekends. Great Professor. Lots of examples.

Arabaci is willing to help when you need it. You have to tell him you dont understand though. If not he assumes you do. Home work is a little long but he means well. Remind him that you work full time and dont just sit around doing math. No worrys with him as your teacher.

IT IS MANDATORY TO DO THE HAWKES HW. If you do not do it you will definitely fail this class. It sometimes gets frustrating to understand him but he is willing to help you out in any way he can. Also if you can't finish the hawkes on its due date he will consider pushing the deadline later for you to finish it, but overall very caring professor.

i like the way he explains everything, he is willing to come extra days (Sundays) to help you with anything you do not understand. LOTS OF WORK, but you can actually due it if you take the time. the only thing i will change about this class is that he should work on math XL in class so we can ask at the moment if we do not understand something.

Mr. Arabaci is a good professor. I attended his DMAT 0093 during summer 2 and we moved too fast. I suggest that if you take him do so during a regular semester. He will even assist you if you request it.

Attendance is key! Used mathxl for homework and tests. Tests are long but he is very flexible. This was an evening class so most everyone worked full time. He is very understanding and accommodating. He is really passionate about math and it makes it fun! Only thing, i wish he set due dates. I do well with due dates. I recommend him!Finally passed!

Prof is very interested in seeing the student succeed, is supportive in making that happen by all means. The subject is a difficult subject if ur not good in math, so lots of time must be committed in the Hawkes program for homework he uses. He tests over the chapter once you complete it, which is helpful because it shows you what you need to work on. Make sure to attend every class if you can because you will get lost if you don't. I am so glad I took Professor Arabaci! He explains the material very well! He does require A LOT of HW from the HAWKS program so don't fall behind on it! His test are so similar to the HAWKS so practice the questions. Overall I really enjoyed going to his class and he has a good sense of humor. Take him!

I just took Arabaci's class, and it was difficult for some but it wasn't for others. Arabaci cares about how you do in his class and will give you as much help as he can for you to pass the class-that being said, he is stuck in his ways at times when teaching. If you learn the way he teaches, great. If not, oh well. Work load is tough either way.

The online Hawkes material is VERY time consuming and can get irritating. Unit tests are long but come from the online material. He has a passion for math and it clearly shows. Would take again!

professor arabaci is very helpful and knows what he is lecturing about, so don't hesitate to ask questions bc he'll be glad to answer them. hawkes is easy to understand and his tests are not too hard if you do them at the same time your are doing your hawkes assignments. Attend class and listen to lecture.

He will help you if you put forth the effort. Please do not take his class if you are lazy, you will only bring down the class.

Professor A will work with you, keep communication open (will do Xtra Cr!) but this sem. didn't have office hours or a TA to help like my cal. algebra did. His lectures are long, read the chs BEFORE class or class will go slow then you have to rush to catch up. He didnt really show how to use the calculator for some of the chs so you had yourself.

Professor Arabaci was a great teacher, I believe he was very fair at giving ample amount of time to submit assignments. His lectures matched with the book making it a little easier to go back and look over material. I also think he was very good at allowing us to participate with doing concepts on the board to make sure we grasped them.

I would have loved the class if I was in a better situation.

This is not an "easy A" course, but if you do what he says (practice, do the homework and examples he gives, prepare for class by reading first, etc) you WILL pass. He wants to you truly get something out of his class. I discovered a love for math in his class, and I felt 100% supported by Prof. Arabaci.

I had taken this teacher in 2010... I loved his class. It was very easy for me, but I am a math major. I believe he taught very well, as well as accepted methods that were different than he taught. He is a very easy teacher to talk to.

Mr. Arabaci is a fair teacher that will work with you. Tests are take home and homework is all online, which is time very consuming.

If he see that your trying your best, he will work with you! If you suck at Math like i did, take him... he helps you to understand!

Prof Arabaci is a cool dude who teaches because he enjoys it. His stories are great and he is an easy grader. This material is difficult for me to understand but he allows you plenty second and third chances on homework. If you are in class and you are engaged, you'll do well. He wants you to do well.

Language difficulty at times hard to understand you really have to strain at times to understand. He does care, will help. Allows other students to help each other.

Mr. Arabaci is an excellent professor. He helps when students need help, and wants students to succeed. He is very personable, and cares about students on a personal level. He wants his students to succeed not only in this class, but in life. I am very glad I chose him as a professor. I wish I could have taken him for more classes.

The class is easy as long as you show up. Of course, at times you can get lost but he will go over examples until you get it. His stories are funny and I would definitely recommend him as a professor.

What I like most about him is he is understanding and will help you. The teacher is very funny and the class is never dull, even though it is a math class. The class can be overwhelming but, he gives us enough time to catch up.

Mr. Arabaci is a great professor! It is a tough class, but he explains everything in a clear matter and he recommends for us to ask questions if we have them. There is a lot of homework to do, it is all online, but he's very fair on grading. Mr. Arabaci is very funny and is always making jokes in class! Would recommend him!

Arabaci is insightful, funny, and honest, and is passionate about his profession. He has an accent, but it's not that strong - he is comprehensible. Survival guide: study the power-points/textbook before class, practice, and pass. If you need help, he will lend a hand, or you can Youtube it out. Also, expect to see him drink a lot of coffee.

Mr. Arabaci is a great teacher of the material and so funny in class! He does have an accent but he's easy to understand. Although the material is easy it is extremely time consuming with mandatory HW and test after EACH chapter. Lowest grades are dropped! Once he called to see if I was okay when I missed class. Really does care about students!!

Professor Arabic is one of the most dedicated teachers I met. He is knowledgeable and he has such a passion for what he teaches. He will explain with lots of examples. It's very important to complete all your homework and attendance is mandatory. Also, he is very funny and loves coffee! !! You will love his class.

I have failed algebra 3 times and when I realized I had signed up for a statistics class I was ready to drop on the first day but I gave him a chance and I do not regret it ! I actually understood and learned... just pay attention he will notice and be very helpful.

Mr. Arabaci is 1 of the best! Im the kind of person that hates Math, but taking Statistics w Mr. Arabaci made it easy & fun. He makes the problems easy to solve by the way he explains in detailed. There's a lot of hw but it is worth doing it in order to learn. I love how he makes his class very interective. I def recommend taking this course w him.

Mr. Arabaci is one of the best instructor I have ever had. He loves stats and just wants everyone else to love it as well, Well I still hate it. I can truly say that he wants everyone to succeed in his class. He give 5 extra points for perfect attendance so I recommend you be there everyday. This is stats it just a hard subject for most.

Took professor Arabaci for Spring 2017 was very happy with his patience in teaching as well as the attentiveness given to the whole class to make sure we all grasped the lecture concepts. Hawkes software was a great help and he also made sure to ask if we needed help on lessons we spent most time on. Overall the best!

Prof. Arabaci truly made statistics understandable. I had saved this class to the very end of my prerequisite to-dos for OT School. But with this professor, I really had nothing to worry about. It is not an "easy A" class, but what you LEARN--truly learn--is worthwhile. Bonus: if you don't miss a class, he will automatically add 5% to your grade.

This class is time consuming but if you put the work you will pass. You will need the hawkes access code and believe me it is very helpful. There's tutoring for every assignment and unlimited time to work on it
