This is greatest teacher. This was short term class so we had to stay like 3hrs but was always fun and I was excited to go to class! She's so~ nice and considerate. Her lecture is very interesting and fun. If you can't get A in her class, you will never get an A any other classes. She's my favorite teacher!!

VERY EASY. To get an A, just attend ALL CLASSES and do HW. HW is very easy. consist of your opinion. she made a 2 hr class go by like it's nothing. very cool teacher. Take Her Class. you will not regret it! No books required and no final. oh yeah, dont smoke before or on break. she doesnt like that. :)

I had her summer online class and it has to be one of the easist class ever! You dont really need the book just for one assign. Final was extremly easy. Just a 4 para reflection. Shes also felxable on due dates. Cery easy!!!!

Oh how I loved this online class. Ramona was awesome. As long as you keep up with the assignments, you will do just fine. A little reading is required, but it?s all interesting. I enjoyed this class, and I got an A, which is big for me for taking an online class.

I took this class online and it was so EASY. I barley read anything and I still got an A+ in the class. All you have to do is login and answer the questions, with a tiny bit of reading. She also takes late assignments. She is very nice and responds to emails fast. There are also no tests, which is great. Also there is no book for the class.

(Online) She has tons of helpful information in Blackboard; instructions are very organized, especially the due dates. She sends email reminders regularly. She responds to emails and returns phone messages promptly. She's really interested in the subject matter. I haven't met her in person but I know she's very nice and smart. Take her class!

I took Ms. Silver?s English 102 class last spring. She is definitely the best teacher I have had at Chabot! She is funny and genuinely kind. Taking her class helped me enormously with English 1A, English 7 and every other class for which I needed to write a paper. If you want to become a better writer, you should take her class.

Best teacher I've ever had. Yes she does try to make sure the students do their work and be aware what English is like at another level. If you do all your work, you should be fine. I don't think anyone else I know can be more merciful because none other are. I strongly recomend her big time.

To my surprise, I ended up not hating her 3 hour Philosophy class. We saw some movies (black and white or foreign only) and the class in general was pretty chill. Ramona is a great professor, especially online. She communicates with you almost daily to make sure you are up to date with everything that is due and coming up. The class relies heavily on posting a couple times a week and you have to stay on top of it. If you miss something, she is very understanding. Put in effort and you will get a good grade.

Very easy A+, if you do your work on time-which isn't too difficult, and actually try you will pass! There are assignments due like every other day but nothing to freak out about! NO FINAL OR MIDTERM EXAM, I got an A+ by just doing my work on time. I actually really enjoyed this class and learned a few neat things!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Her assignments overlap some but everything is cut and dry. Will also work with you if you are missing assignments or are stressed about school/life.

You read two books and two short stories and write 5 essays. Average for an english class. Assignments are challenging, but not difficult. She knows how to run an online class. Assignments are due throughout the week, but you can easily get them done earlier. Extends essay deadlines and accepts posts late, just don't make it a habit. She cares!

Dr. Silver is one of the easiest teachers to talk to and her class is a breeze. If you find her class hard than I'm sorry college isn't for you. All you have to do is do the assignments, doesn't matter if its 100% correct since its your own thought.

For an online class, Dr. Silver cares about her students. Many opportunities to ask her questions through cell. Her modules are filled with content. There are no tests, just posts and one essay. Easy class, just follow the directions in the post. One downside is she doesn't lecture. There are no videos of explaining things. Learn independently.

Awesome teacher! She really cares about her students and the topics she teaches. Each module is a different topic requiring discussions posted to the many prompts. Two essays as a midterm and final. No tests or quizzes. Expectations are clearly outlined. Studied topics I had never heard of. Each topic was presented in a fun and appealing way.

Best online professor ever, and I have taken a lot! Up to three discussion posts a week which are very easy (take up to 30min each) and comments to other students. She is very flexible, easy grader and super nice and caring. If you miss a post, forget to do some, or just need more time email her to make up work for full credit. Would take again!!

I took PHIL60 online with her and she was amazing. 3-4 short writing tasks/ week + peer reviews. One 500 word midterm + one 800 word finals.

Honestly, this is some slight work. If you get a bad grade then that's your fault. Ramona Silver gives many chances to complete an assignment.

I wish I took her class in person instead of online. Although she gives a heavy load of work, they're very easy assignments. She gives GREAT feedback on essays. I took Professor Silver's online course for Humn 65. She proved herself to be a teacher who simply wants you to reply to a couple questions a week and reply to a student. If you simply do the written assignments , reply to a classmate, and give critical thinking feedback on your responses, you will pass the class with flying colors.

The SWEETEST professor EVER omg! She's so adorable and SO understanding. We have discussion posts every other day, but they are all opinion based. It's Humanities, so it's all about how YOU think and feel. They're usually 150 words long. Aside from DP, two papers & a movie. Try to have fun with everything. Most late work accepted. Easy A!!

Dr. Silvers HUMN65 class was really easy! The assignment are very easy if you read the sources provided. Most assignments are based off of personal insight & then peer responses to class peers. Even though you may turn in an assignment late if done well you are likely to receive full credit. Definitely recommend!!!

She is truly a sweetheart. Her assignments are to the point and easy. Every time something is due, she will let you know at 8am. Very caring and wants you to pass with an A. No required books but you do have to watch a older film which you might be able to find for free online. Great online class!

I loved HUMN65 with Dr. Silver! I took this class online as a concurrent enrollment class and to be honest it was my first college class ever! The grading criteria was very clear and assignments were straight forward. The class was neatly organized and assignment modules were prepared for you to see on Friday and start Monday. Overall great teacher

took as a 5-week summer class and found it to be very manageable. around 5 discussions/week, one film noir and a two-part group discussion, and one final paper (750 words). everything is opinion-based so as long as you meet criteria I think you'll get full points. I highly recommend, very interesting course responsive and caring prof! lots of EC

Taking HUM65. It is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. If you're looking for an easy class or professor, this is a perfect choice! But if you want actually learn something and engage with the course material, wrong choice. I didn't really learn anything. Most assignments are just short personal responses to some text/video/photo/media.

Took during covid and during the summer. only grades by discussion post and a final essay.

This class was so fun and I really learned a lot with the way the course was structured. She provides all the text you need and you interpret what you read in the discussion board. It gave me a whole different view and I got to interact with my peers regarding our discussions. There is 1 final paper but it was easy since it was based on discussion.

Ramona Silver is such a sweetheart. Very understanding and does not give as much homework not even during the holiday break. Grades on time. Responds back on time. Gives multiple options to do passed assignments that were not completed. No tests are given. More written assignments are given but are very easy to complete! She is great professor!

I took professor Silver's english 4A class this past fall semester. Her classwork was super easy and she always gave great feedback on our essays. Although her work was easy, the workload was quite heavy. She does weekly discussions that were usually 3-4 times a week. My only advice is to keep up with your discussions and communicate with her well.

There are a total of 4-5 papers total you must write throughout the entire semester and weekly assignments you must complete. As long as you do your work you will pass the class. Easy A!

Professor Silver goes above and beyond when I took her English course. Her assignments are straightforward, and she responds and grades promptly.
