She is strict on having done what is hw which is quite simple (ex. draft a paragraph which leads to draft your papers). Uses the book a lot but honestly it helps. She doesn't like late comers. Overall as long as you do your work and study the material you'll be fine.

miss gray helped me a lot in my writing. Im happy to say she bettered my writing.this class was easy just turn in your homework shes really nice.nothing to hard that the average student cant comprehend. if you fail her class, you must need more help.although she hates it when your late so be on time!!!!

She uses a lot the textbook and gives either quiz or exams every week. You have to work really hard to get a good grade. If you are the type of student who doesn't enough focus to the class, man don't take her. that's gonna be hard . And she doesn't like late students

She was very though. So much journal writing and you have to keep every single paper you write and gives back. Very demanding on top of that.

She is a very nice lady but she is a hard grader. She has requirements for every essay so make sure you follow them or expect a bad grade. As long as you do the assignments you'll be okay and attendance is not mandatory. If you start with a bad grade she'll make you talk to your advisor and make you do a lot of work which is annoying

Very Nice teacher, helpful, she makes sure that you understand everything. Quizzes are super easy, they are also open book. I am not a reading person still have A in her class. Attendance is compulsory otherwise you will fall behind. I wish she teaches 112 but she does not. Highly recommended

Pretty much all tests and quizzes are open book/note including the midterm and final. You have to write journals often and they have to be 300 words to get any credit. Most homework is just reading and then discussing it the next class. Essays ramp up in difficulty going from 2pg ->3pg->4to5pg->6to7pg. Study your grammar and mechanics!! Easy class.

Professor Gray is a very tough grader! On the other hand, she does teach well and replies to emails instantly.

Prof. Gray is respectable, decent, and genuinely care about her students. She replies emails really fast, puts in a lot of efforts revising our essays and giving feedbacks. She took us to the writing center and she will arrange workshops for us according to our needs. She is the best English teacher I have ever met.

You get to have 2 favors for the whole semester to turn in late assignments. She's always try her best not to bore students during the class. I would definitely take her again if she teaches ENG 112

This teacher is great, she's always there to help you and always tries that their students understand everything . If you do all the work on time you'll have a good grade. Tries to give you a second chance if you are not too happy with the grade you got. Nice, funny, and interesting teacher. Always made her lectures interesting and fun.

She is so talented and inspiring. I know she gives a lot of assignments, but you don't expect to improve in English by doing minimum reading and writing. That is not reality. Those hard work will benefit you in the long run! English is my second language, but I improved the most during Prof. Gray's class. I can't say thank you enough to her!

Great teacher, one of the best I've ever had, because I actually felt that I learned some things that were worthwhile to me. However, she can be a bit nitpicky when grading, so do your best to get an A on every assignment, and stay on top of homework, since I missed a few assignments. Take every opportunity you can to see her outside of class too.

Professor Gray worked hard to cover many aspects of good writing and she did so well. She taught precisely, clearly, and effectively. She was helpful in answering questions and clarifying points.

Professor Gray cares about her each one of her students and is really helpful. You have to make the first step though and go to her office or shoot her an email. There's a lot of work that comes with this course but you learn a lot from her. I'd definitely take her again.

Professor Gray is so caring when you need help in class and outside class! Whenever she has a lecture she is clearly passionate of what she speaks about and she always makes sure the class is understanding it. Her essay requirements are quite easy to follow and her exams are very easy to study for. Just do your work and always ask her questions!

Professor Gray was very kind and always ready to help. Although she was a tough grader the feedback that she gave was very helpful. She is good about getting back to you by email in a decent amount of time. There were four essays, one group project, one final exam and discussion boards. Take her you won't regret it.

Professor Gray is the best teacher I've ever had. She gives easy work and step by step instructions to help with the papers, so you are not alone in the paper process. She gives a lot of assignments to do at home but with a lot of instruction for the assignments. She gives a few pop quizzes every once in a while, but she gives you 5 minutes before.

This pro is strict but super kind. She has some interesting classwork. I hated writing the papers but I am sure it will help me in college. Take this prof. You will leave the class a better writer.

I took her last semester for summer and her ratings don't do justice on how good of a teacher she is. Yes there is work such as long essays but its manageable and isn't hard if you actually try. She grades fairly and gave extra credit. Would recommend her to everyone.

I had late assignments that I could not attend to because of struggling financial issues after being met with homelessness at the age of 18, right after graduating early from highschool, luckily. As I told her, she did not see the help me out, as I was struggling.

Not sure why she is rated so low. She's honestly an amazing professor and cares about her students. She does assign some work, but it's very manageable and she gives lots of helpful feedback when you go to her about an assignment. She's one of the best professors I've had!

Such an awesome teacher, the ratings scared me a little bit before taking her. However, she was became one of my favorite teachers, such a sweet soul and great for socializing. Always doing partner or group work, however, effort is needed for a good grade.

Prof. Gray does give a decent workload; however, if you stay proactive and complete the necessary tasks, then it's truly a walk in the park. I recommend taking her class only in-person, though, as I've seen her approach to Online classes is a bit more amped up on the workload.
