By far the most entertaining teacher I've ever had, not to mention that he knows his stuff, and makes you do your best. Anyone who's had Randy's class knows its the lazy and undevoted people who don't do well. and end up bad mouthing him

Awesome guy! But remember to not take criticism personal if he gives his opininion, cuz in the end it is the best thing for you , esp. as a designer. If you want to learn anything about graphic design take his courses!

One of the most vibrant & interesting teachers ever. He starts out the semester tough, to weed out MOST of the slackers, and by the end of the semester, he's your best friend. He's highly knowledgable; invaluable assest to your art education. :)

I love Randy Crawford!!! He prepares you for the real world of art- so don't expect someone who's gonna sugar coat things. Is his class hard?, well yeah- but in a good way..its fun, and you get so much out of it.

Randy Rocks!! By far, one of the best teachers that I have had at Delta. He is tough and very demanding, but it is for your own good. Slackers and whiners need not take his class. He prepares you for the real world.

Randy Crawford Rocks! People who say that he is a joke were probobly dropped by randy for not being good enough...take him for every class you can...if you are a real artist you will get alot from him!

Randy Crawford Rules! Don't pay any attention to that whiny **** from SCAD...I went to SCAD and they were extremely impressed with my work...Do yourself a favor and take Randy, the best teacher I have had!

He is a very smart teacher and knows photoshop better then anyone I have seen but the dude needs to chill out. Art is a way to express yourself but all he wants is dark and tacky pictures. He needs to open up to other people's point of view.

To Dark and Tacky: Obviously people who think Randy's student work is dark and tacky haven't actually paid attention in class. Randy's preferences are based on quality composition and craftsmanship. Probably two things that your work lacked.

He is the best art teacher! He can be a little high strung, but do your best and he will reward you for that. He doesn't put up with any crap, so if you are a slacker, Randy's probably not the right teacher for you.

Funny, live, busy, outgoing, helpful--that's Randy in a nutshell for you.

Randy actually does care about the students. He was very helpful in Photoshop II and as a result, I ACED that class! Things were a little slow in the beginning but soon smoothed out. He even took us out to the Olive Garden to round out the semester!

Randy is great, he keeps you motivated, I would recommend anyone to take all of his classes,He is the best teacher that I have had thus far. If you take his class you will learn tons and have lots of fun:)

This guy rocks! Even though his difficulty level seems like it is insane, he's just pushing you to go further and reach your potential. After all the hard work is done ya go to olive garden. Come on people what's not to love about that?

randy is THE photoshop teacher....no one will push you to produce the kind of work thats adequite for that class like randy. The work is timely but its fun stuff like taking pictures to set up for the next project....weve also ordered pizza about 10 times in the 2 classes ive had him in.

Can't imagine who wouldn't like Prof. Crawford's class, it's not super easy, but you will learn a lot.

Randy comes off as really hard, demanding and downright insane at first, but he is just trying to push people to put their excuses aside and PERFORM! In the end, if you honestly put forth your best effort you will get an A. Knowledge of Photoshop is extensive. Genuinely nice guy.

I have had Randy for evey class he teaches currently. Art 271, Art 277, Art 288, Art 222, Art 216, Art 274 are the classes I've had with him. He rocks. And he makes you learn. He made me focused and serious about making ART.

This teacher made learning digital imaging fun. He is a little quirky (in a great way). Very helpful and pushes you to bring out all your creativity.

He was an amazing influence to me. I just had a portfolio review at The Art Institute of Chicago and they couldn't stop commenting on my photoshop work. They knew Randy and they said he was an amazing teacher. I recommend him to anyone.

Most influential teacher I ever had. Brings a unique style & energy to the classrooms. Provides endless amounts of references & demonstrations. He continually pushes you to develop your own style. Get your hours in & care about perfecting design! Many nights working, but it made me a better designer. Very helpful landing me a great design job too!

if you want to have new ideas and thoughts in art then i suggest you take this class. he is one of the best teachers i ever had, hes always willing to help you on your project and give his opinion, when it needs work which a lot of teachers dont do. he also has introduced me to new artists,mediums,materials and process... experience is priceless

He's really into art & takes it extremely serious & believes students should too. He stated every thing is due at the end of the semester. He says they're due earlier, but there not. He says this cause of slackers that don't produce work and they just don't work. It seems that he gets disappointed when people don't take it serious. Work hard on it

I went to Delta a few years ago and now I attend Parson's school of design in New York. I can honestly say that this class was more than just an art class. Randy is the true definition of an inspirational genius. I recommend this class especially this professor. I owe so much to you! Thanks!!! Oh and he takes his students to Olive Garden

One Question: How is this guy at Delta?! I love the school, but he is a mixed media genius. cranbook taught him well! I couldn't ask for more froim a human being let alone a professor. Randy cares deeply for his students and I felt like I was the only one. I'm writing this just to thank him and I hope it reaches him. u taught me more than u know!

I used to thing I was good at Photoshop until I took this class. Randy knows so much and is extremely dedicated to making sure you develop in this class. Does NOT tolerate slackers, but really, who would? If you take art seriously but love it, take his class!

He's intense, but he's their trying to make you successful, not only in the class, but in the real world. He taught me deadlines are everything. The bottom line he wants to see work done. I had him for photoshop 1 & 2, he knowns it very well. His "favorite" students are ones who try and get their work done. Master of Mix Media and has inspired me!!

This dude rocks! He makes class so interesting and fun. He is hard, but he really does care about the students. I know for a fact he spends his own money on supplies for the students. He wants to see them succeed. Who ever wrote the one other day must not be a serious art student. They should stop now if they can't handle him, cause life is harder!

For anyone who is out there and wants a professor for digital imaging or photo shop, this is the man to take. He is very clear on what needs to be done and also is very much willing to help you if you have any questions. This man has a passion for art and is more than willing to share it with you so that you can succeed and pursue your goal.

Randy Crawford is a great instructor. He cares about, and encourages, that the student does their best. I learned so much from him over the semester I had him, and still learn from him today. He is someone to know in the world of design, and never hesitated to help guide someone to creating an outstanding piece. You will learn so much from him.

My favorite professor ever. He has solid connections to the real world and works to connect his students to job opportunities and simulate how a job would feel like. He gives good critiques of work that show you exactly what to fix, not just "oh this is good" or "I don't like that". Has assistants in class to help with student problems.

Randy is the type of person that is always moving. He will go out of his way to help anyone with anything if they ask, he loves students that try. This semester he has had family issues. But stressed out or not he is over qualified for his job and is more than capable and wiling to help u learn. If this is what u want to do, he'll be ur biggest fan

Randy is a teacher that I have recommended to many of my friends and family member rather they are going into Art or need as a fill in class for another area. His knowledge is awesome! He gave me not only good advice he has helped me with other classes when I need it. Delta is lucky to have a dedicated teacher and I have found a new friend!

I had him for CS3 and it was a great class. A Lot of fun and things were interesting. :)

Mr. Crawford was always there to help me and inspire me to do my best, I love photoshop I just bought the program and work on it every day. I will be taking part 2 in the winter I cant wait to lean more.

Almost always positive & enthusiastic, but when he's upset with the class, you know it. Very helpful and obviously cares about his students. You'll get a good grade if you do all the assignments and follow his advice. It was hard work, but definitely fun as long as art is your interest. That said, don't take it if you just want an "easy" art class.

I have never had a proffsor like Mr. Crawford, I have studied at RISD, Art institue of chicago. He has made me love sculpture and show the posipilities. No wonder he is so good he is a real artist with an excellent eduation. Randy keep at delta and keep making art

Randy is on of the best art teachers in the art department I have had. He modvates me to create great art. helps with how do develop my ideas. But main thing is we cares about taht we do well, has shown me so many new artist for inspiration. I wish I could take more class with Randy but i have had all them.

Randy lives art. If art is what you're into, he's the guy you want to learn from. He has touched every aspect of art and will only push you to create more and better pieces. Randy's a very hard worker and expects you to do the same, not to be cruel, but to make you the best you can be. To sum it up, Randy's a great artist, teacher, and human being.

I am not an art student , but I am in Randal s class and I am going to switch my major to Design. Do to randals class, His honest critiques I am paying for the class to learn and be critiqued how I can become and artist , But it has nothing to do with what your area is about Imo paying for school to learn

This guy is all about art. He is a great teacher and pushes you to make things better. He makes you look at your work as if there is always something that can be done to make it better. I would reccomend him for anyone who wants to be taught and critiqued the right way inorder for you to become the best that you can be.

Classes with randy are very helpful! I have found him easier to deal with then most professors I've had. Class is intense but very fulfilling. Love this class and will miss Randy!

I didn't really understand what this would be. I really enjoy ceramics although, and have learned a lot. It was a little intimidating but he was super inspirational and helpful. You have to be motivated and have time management skills. love the class!!

Randal Crawford is a great professor. His heart and soul goes into the class and helping the students. He gives us opportunities to display our pieces around the school and around the community which is unlike any other class. His art style is very modern and gives out his tools and equipment in a heart beat. He is very energetic and opptomistic.

I felt that Crawford went beyond any teacher I have ever had. He expects and wants us to explore such contemporary methods of clay and thinking about art. People who want to make cups, will struggle, but those who want to explore clay as an artistic medium, will be completely blown away. He is unconventional, but art is his passion 100%.

this was such an excellent class to take! the instructor randal crawford was extremely helpful and knowledgable about ceramics i couldnt ask a question he couldnt answer. his critiques are honest and his student productivity is superb. i would refer this class to anyone interested in cermaics.

Randal is one of my favorite teachers at Delta, most of the professors either don't care or care about really asinine things. Randal is clearly passionate about art, and as long as you put in effort and pay attention he will help with whatever you need. Just don't slack off, you won't get half as much out of the class if you do.

He is truly a great man and is incredibly hard working and selfless in the work he does. He loves to talk but is always has something interesting or entertaining to say. He will help anyone who asks and goes above and beyond as a teacher

My favorite Delta teacher by far. I've had Randal for two classes and he never fails to inspire and motivate me to attempt new things in the artistic field. Many Delta professors only care that you get work done in time, whereas Randal wants you to love your work, and to do it in a way that feels right for you. Work hard you will do well with him!

This was my first class I took with Randal his painting 1 and it awesome He challenged the way I thought about paint having never painted before The man is a color guenius he is so passionate about art
