he seems to be a good teacher but chooses very difficult pieces of work on purpose. also does not use D2L, he uses his own website that tends to be difficult to access for many students.

This is the toughest class i've taken so far. Class consists mostly of joking around about his own life and occasionally you'll analyze a reading hes having you do. The readings are very difficult to understand and his papers are even harder. All this being said, out of any subject, this one's improved me the most.

He is a very cool guy, i never dreaded going to his class. His class however is fairly difficult. It can be very unclear on what you are supposed to do and the essays are very difficult. He is very helpful though if you go to him. You will become a better writer through this class but only if you shed your blood and tears into your work.

Great guy uses personal stories as metaphors to the lesson he is teaching. Does not require a textbook. He will work you hard and make you a great writer as long as you challenge yourself. I recommend him to enhance your writing and comprehension of dense essays.

Essays are challenging but if you ask for help he'll help you. Overall it's a tough class but you will improve as a writer.

He can be difficult with his prompts, but they are grad school essays and definitely help in the long run. If you ask for help, he's more than willing to give it. Don't take this class if you just want an easy A and don't want to learn anything. He is funny and a great teacher who knows what he's talking about. I would love to take him again.

Super difficult professor, but a nice guy. Makes you laugh a lot and is pretty laid back. Attendance isn't mandatory. The readings can be hard to understand and the essays are super tough. Is helpful, though. Makes time to meet with all his students to go over the thesis and rough drafts. Not an easy class, but he did make me a better writer.

Great teacher. He gave very difficult assignments that allow you to enhance your writing and critical thinking. He is great to talk to and will literally give up all his free time to help the class.

His assignments are difficult but he requires meetings before the papers are due in which he helps ALOT to clear things up. Class is honestly a waste of time... he has ADHD to the extreme and you only learn for about 15 mins of the hour and 15 mins. He's entertaining but class is pointless.

I'm glad I had him as a professor. The most influential professor I've had. His way of teaching and how he challenges you makes you think and become a better learner. He taught me a whole new way in expressing my ideas through writing. I recommend you take his class. His prospective on education changed my thinking for the better.

He goes off topic almost the whole time. He is very very relaxed and jokes around a lot; however, he will help you to write a good paper. Schedule meetings with him and come prepared to them. Class is helpful but the meetings will get you an A in the class. I didn't learn much about writing, but I enjoyed having him as a Gen Ed professor.

No textbook. No mandatory attendance. He assigns a few essays, but guides you through them very well and meets with every student to give personal attention to their writing. He wants everyone to get an A, so if you put in the effort you will succeed. Classes are fun because he goes off topic and likes to joke around. My writing improved so much.

I took ENG 295 in the past with this professor and it was great.

At first I was not sure how to take Randall Cream, he is definitely a character. The essays assigned can be difficult to someone that has not taken time to thoroughly read the readings and understand the main concepts. Randall is passionate about teaching and is always is available to schedule time to help with the essays he assigns.

I've taken Professor Cream twice during my time at West Chester and I always love the class. He's passionate about what he teaches and he's there for his students and wants to see them succeed. I highly recommend taking him. It was a class I genuinely looked forward to every week.

He's an awesome teacher. Defiantly cares about his students and doesn't beat around the bush.

hilarious guy who will have you laughing the whole class. Good at what he does, and makes it clear what he wants for essays. Helps you out a lot. Essays are graded toughly but if you pay attention and understand topics you're good to go.

Of all the professors I've had at West Chester University, none have been quite so helpful and inspiring as Dr. Randall Cream. His class was the perfect level of challenge I was expecting from an English Major course, and with Dr. Cream's guidance, I managed to excel in it. He's an absolute riot to be around, and an awesome resource for students.

Randall was awesome. As a first semester freshman, he was definitely my favorite teacher. I barely took notes, but going to class was crucial to being able to write a quality paper for his class. Whenever I met with him to discuss my paper, he didn't sugar coat it, but that also made it a lot easier to revise my writing so I could get an A.

This class is so easy! There are 3 essays but you can do a prezi instead. Once he assigns an essay you do not have class until it's due. He is also very funny. He can get a little off topic sometimes but who cares! The worksheet that explains his essays are unclear, but he explains them better in person. Take him if you can.

One of the first things Cream tells his students is that he wants to give them an A. For WRT200 spring2016 While we work on the essay class was canceled( 2-4 weeks). If you get a better grade on the 2nd essay than the first the grade is replaced by the second and if you get a b+ or better on the 2nd essay you didnt have to do the 3rd easy A. TAKE!

Best Professor I have had here so far. He made fun of me occasionally in class but all in good fun as I dished it back too. He takes the time to make sure you get the A and have fun while doing it, will be taking his WRT 200.

No essays in this Writing Emphasis class. As a Comp Sci major, this class really exposed me to Web Development, specifically WordPress. Dr Cream provided me with the resources, and most of my learning was self taught- but so much fun. I thought the weekly blogs and comments were fun, and in the group project you could pick the role that fit you.

Go to his class once a week and meet with him for your essays. Otherwise don't worry about this class. Super easy and very laid back. Definitely take him because he is hilarious

Would definitely take him again! He cancels class on Friday which is so nice, and the writing assignments aren't too hard. Go to office hours if you ever need help, he's really nice and willing to listen.

VERY EASY class. Three papers (exempt from the third if you got better than a B+ on the second), online blogs, and participation. Attendance is OPTIONAL but sometimes he says things in class that aren't on the website so you may miss it but classes are essentially useless. Not a tough grader also gave extra credit because he NEVER GRADES ON TIME

He's incredibly caring and somehow teaches us without actually teaching us. I know it sounds insane, but it works amazingly well

Dr. Cream is a great professor I took his class during the winter. He doesn't give you clear instructions how to write papers because he wants students to find their own way. However, he makes himself available to students and he's straightforward about your papers. He cancels classes on Fridays. Winter courses are short but this was an easy A.

Gives the option to do group projects instead of write long papers. Very cool and funny guy! I looked forward to his class just to see what he would do/say.

Cream is a good teacher, no attendance so you can skip all the time, by end of semester only 10 ppl would show up, he curses in every sentence and hes funny/laid back. Two big essays but graded easy, lot of stuff isnt graded by quality and instead credit/no credit so that makes it easy, dont need to buy any books, watch a lot of movies, easy!

He's the guy you talk about years after you graduate. That one prof that was just weird, best kind of weird. He certainly cares about his students, but he can be a jerk sometimes, he knows it, he'll tell you! I'd always recommend someone takes him, but once was enough for me. Twice was something! I do love him, but he doesn't "reach" me in class

Randall was one of my favorite teachers of all time. however there are a few things to warn you about. he openly tells is class that attendance doesnt count BUT I suggest going to class on the regular so you dont miss anything he also wastes a lot of time in class. take assignments seriously. super funny, really smart highly recommend

Cream is a hilarious professor who wants to see his students succeed. You're graded on 2 essays and weekly blog posts (they're easy). Class isn't mandatory, but you should attend because his expectations/criteria for the essays are not always clear. He tends to veer off topic during class time, but overall he's a cool teacher.

BEST GEN ED EVER!! For a wrt emp I barely wrote anything! We made two websites in groups and composed 1 blog (posting 2 entries per week) Honestly had a great time, he is super easy going and funny. 10/10 would recommend he was amazing! Put in a little effort and you will get a good grade, he genuinely wants you to do well

Dr. Cream (RC) is a great guy. Very easy-going and understands that the class is a gen-ed. Class seems pointless and isn't mandatory, but he does say some valuable information that can't be found on his course site or email (so still go). Had him during the COVID-19 issue and he just stopped the class to make it easy on us. Can be vague at times.

An awesome professor who has the perfect balance of being a solid and serious professor and a very laid back and personal guy that you could see yourself chilling with. The class was overall very easy. Half your grade is comprised of either essay exams or writing projects that have an easy topic. The rest was readings, but he gave us an A on that!

Best Prof I have ever had! I was going through 3 unexpected family passings the semester I had him and he waived an entire essay for me because he understood that his class was just a gen ed and it wasn't going to make or break my career. Honestly, I would take his class again just because he is that fantastic

You do 3 projects in DHM 280 and have meetings with him every week. These meetings are very helpful and he will practically tell you exactly what to write. Once you get the hang of it the work is very easy and goes by fast. He's also very nice and understanding if you have questions.

Professor Cream is super nice! We had 3 projects for this class and meeting for feedback from him was mandatory. I think he gives good feedback on projects. My only complaint is that, at least for individual meetings, he can get quite backed up. It can be inconvenient if you scheduled your meeting right before a class or event.

Prof.Cream is like Yoda, you do not see the extent of his knowledge until you look past his tangents. With patience, he has a lot to offer his students. His one-on-one meetings provide an amazing amount of insight in terms of writing analysis. He clearly loves his job, and is a fun professor overall. Just be prepared for numerous F-bombs in class.

I had him for ENG 201 and our class itself was disengaged and oftentimes combative, but he did such a great job remaining patient and responsive. He is a hilarious professor and despite his tangents, he truly goes out of his way to make sure our projects were progressing well. His conferences are genuinely fun, and he gives valuable feedback.

Dr.Cream was a fantastic teacher. He was extremely "real" and never asked us to write too much. His class is an easy A. His directions are super clear and if you jave any questions hes very easy to get in contact with. He also made me a better writer. r. Hes got a sick hat aswell, I always see him @ greek truck.

Professor cream is overall a great professor. He offers many extra credit opportunities and I suggest you going to the lectures to get your attendance taken. Trust me it will help you in the end. Absolutely love the lectures and I would take him again if I had to. 10/10 I definitely would recommend

His instruction can be a little unclear but is definitely worth going to class even though it's kind of a waste of time. He grades so much easier than he makes it sound. I really liked him! The one on one conferences were nerve racking at first but honestly he is such a great help and really only does it to help you succeed.

I've taken his classes 3 times! Really like him. A few group projects before the final proj, aren't too hard but kinda felt like doing the same thing over and over. Make sure you pick a good group at the start. Doesnt really teach and the conferences get annoying but he tells you exactly how to get an A if you take them seriously. You'll be fine!!

Hes a chill guy. Show up to class do the work and if you cant understand him ask lol. He answers your questions and gives great feedback. If you show up to do the work it's an elementary class.

Dr Cream is a great guy and I thought his class was pretty manageable. We had weekly assignments that were pretty simple and only 2 big essay projects for the whole semester. Class wasn't mandatory and for the most part class is super straight forward. He's a very entertaining guy and gets distracted pretty easily but its not bad at all.

Overall a great professor and would definitely take a class with him again.

If you show up to every class, you are exempt from everything except the 2 projects. They are papers that ask you to interpret the stories and movies for the class. It can be confusing, but his conferences help. Books and movies were interesting. Lectures were pointless, but he let you out early and talk a lot about his personal life. Big swearer.

Dr. Cream is such a character. He's so kind, and he never puts too much pressure on his students. I feel like the advice he gave me on my papers was very straightforward and actually made me a better writer. He makes his expectations clear, and his class is enjoyable for writers and non-writers alike.

I had him for LIT100 not 165 but it wasn't an option. It was easy, obviously a 100-level class. Dude is great, super nice and quirky. He is very open to working with students and is relaxed when it comes to attendance (gives you a couple "passes"). I'd take him again for sure.

Had this class with him last semester, and he taught me twice—both times were great experiences. He's very communicative and transparent with his students. Very chill with attendance, offers opportunities for extra credit. Has a particular sense of humor, gets distracted easily, and yaps, but you get a lot out of the class regardless.

*HAD FOR LIT100 JUST WASN'T A CHOICE* Dr. Cream is funny and easy to talk to. There's only one homework assignment a week and you get to pick what you do to complete it. Attendance is part of your overall grade, but you can make up missed classes by scheduling meetings with him. Just note that he normally only holds class for 20/75 scheduled mins.

This class was super easy there's 2 big papers and 1 project. As well as, 3 little writing assignments that are a paragraph each. He often cancels class at least once a week but it's because you have to have a zoom or in person meeting with him to give feedback on your paper/project. Classes are boring but you get extra credit for going.
