I took Mr. Gordon 5 years ago for Comp II. At first I was disappointed, because I was expecting another teacher, and Gordon was filling in at the last moment. I ended up loving his class. For the 1st time ever, I learned why poetry is so amazing, and he made Hamlet a blast! He's very polite, clear, and will help you on anything if you ask.

I absolutely hate writing, but passed his class with an A. Show up for class, and put a little effort into your papers, and you'll do fine. If you make mistakes and receive a lower grade than you wanted on any of your papers, you can correct them and hand them back in for a higher grade. Overall, a really good teacher.

Super easy class. Gordon is funny and likes to joke around a bit. 80% of your grade are essays and you only write 4 or 5. He will get on you about attendance and tardiness. We used the textbook for short stories which was needed for the final. I never got the quick access and we hardly used it. As long as you write your essays you will be fine.

I had some concerns in the beginning when taking this class, especially with the attendande issue. Prof. Gordon is clear of what he expects from his students, gave us extra credit to increase our grades, and our student leader Marilyn was an asset for this class. Hands down the best English professor I ever had. We only had three papers and they were simple and clear. the readings in the book were fun and i enjoyed them. He is a funny person who likes to have the class envolved.

overall he was easy. took a flex start class so everything was quick and easy. about four papers and a few book assignments. many group assignments but nothing too difficult. he gets his classes mixed up and he forgets to tell you things. he also hates when you are late and after 10 min of class has passed u can't come in. has a bit of temper when there's to much talking. take him he's a very good teacher.

I have taken Comp 1 & 2 with Professor Gordon and they were both flex start classes. These classes moved pretty quickly, but they are so easy! He is by far the best professor and if I could, I would take him AGAIN! No book required, but there is a lot of homework. Do the homework, show up on time, and you will pass. Lots of reading and writing, but what do you expect from an English class? Very attentive and gives feedback. Very organized, gives concise instructions and is not a harsh grader although, obviously, you should already know how to read and write properly as this is not a beginner English class.

This is the 4th online class for me, and Gordon is the best I've had so far. Most weeks he gives either an easy multiple-choice quiz that is never timed, and the discussion posts aren't hard. I recommend him!

Professor Gordon makes this course fairly simple and straightforward as long as you do the work. The work isn't hard, you just have to put time into it. He is a great professor who gets straight to the point on the information so every student can understand.

The online part of the class was easy to follow and clear and the assignments aren't too complicated . He is personable and funny during the class meetings,

Randy is a great professor! I had a mixed mode class with him and he was very helpful when we met in person. He can be a bit difficult to get a hold of through email but if you just need essay help, the writing center is amazing. Overall, this class is great and he makes very fun in-class group assignments!

I took his Literature class online for the summer term and had a good time. Just make sure that you're on top of yourself when taking this class cause there's a lot of work to do, The workflow is not crazy heavy but throughout the week we had stuff due Thursdays and Sundays in the same weeks so if you're a super busy I wouldn't rec it.

Best online course I've taken in terms of quality. The amount of reading was kinda heavy, one decently long (4+ pages) poem or passage per week with pretty complex vocabulary, but then again what do you expect from a literature class. Assignments are easy, and instruction is clear and helpful.

Professor Gordon runs a well-organized class. While email responses can be slow, the writing center is a great resource. The workload is manageable, and unstuck AI proved helpful for essay prep.

This is actually an easy class. The teacher gives you good readings and lets you redo some essays. Most of the readings are short and even interesting. You just need to remember what you did last week, as he connects what we've already learned with the material from the previous week. The only essays are very long, so be prepared to write.

He gives great feedback on your essays. The workload is light, such as an essay for the week. My only issue would be with the communication online. It takes a while to get a response back. Other than this, he is a great teacher. Would recommend!

I chose this professor for my Intro to Lit and I was happy to see him again when registering for this class. It was a lot of writing ofc but when I had questions he would respond quickly. Definitely recommend him!!
