being both a philosophy and religion teacher makes him have a great aproach to teaching. He is extremely fair and wants students to do well. The last test counts as the final because he figures that if he has taught the material well enough, he shouldnt have to retest you on it again. Aims to help.

Knighton was the best teacher that I had this year. His tests were mostly vocab, all you had to do was pay attn in class and you would follow the lesson and get a A on the test. I never got a B in his class and that was from just paying attn in class.

He is a wonderful teacher. He does not disrespect any religion and is always willing to listen to your opinion. There is a lot of information to cover, but he makes sure you know it. Test are easy once you know what they will be like. I would love to take another class of his. RECOMMENDED!!!

great teacher. the semester i had him he had to turn our class into an online class. he had some sort of family issues and could not be at our class for almost the rest of the semester. he gave us all of our essays up front and we just emailed them to him or dropped them off in his box. he did make the hour go by fast when there was class.

This was one of my favorite classes. It would not have been the same if he was not teaching it. He was very helpful. His tests were a little hard, but he went through each chapter before the test and told you pretty much what you needed to study. I made a B in the class. Highly recommend him.

Absolutely positively take him for Philosophy or Religion! He was the best teacher I had. His tests are a little difficult, but he tells you what to study...A definite easy A class if you study what he tells you!!

Mr. Knighton was a great teacher. Not my cup of tea but he makes it fun. Grades essays leniently and exams are easy as long as you study your notes(he sends them in emails). I would take him again.

He is a good teacher. He makes you learn the material, but has very good teaching methods that make the class enjoyable. Notes taken in class helped on the test(no surprises). You can see he cares about what he does. He DOES NOT give you anything, he makes you study and work hard for a good grade, but its fun so you dont mind. Would take him again!

By far one of the best teachers that I have had the pleasure of having. Had him for Religion and waited till he taught Philosophy...just so that I could have him. He is passionate about what he teaches. He is more that fair with the grading system. He is always available to answer questions. Overall, he is one teacher that you should not miss.

This man is an amazing teacher. He really makes you think! He is definitely one of my favorite professors, I'll never forget him! He explains everything clearly and tells you exactly what will be on the tests. When he gives an essay, make sure you format it the way he wants!! (It's *very* simple!)

He is very cool and easy going professor that I ever had before. There three essays and three tests, but they are super simple and easy. You don't even need the textbook. Just study the notes. But he is just awesome.

He was very quick to respond and welcomes opinions. I took this as a summer class along with 3 other course online and this was the easiest course with the most enlightened information. If you read the chapters you and complete all of the work, which is easy you can pass with an A. I already recommended his course to other students. Great course

I took an online class and it was a great experience. He's really helpful and is good at explaining things you may have questions about. The textbook is used a lot, but most of the information in it can be found on the internet.

I took this as an online class and it was a great experience. I really enjoyed this class. Mr. Knighton was really helpful and was great at explaining things I had questions about. You will use the textbook, but will come out of this class having a new perspective on world religion.

Took Online Class. Quiz and writing assignment pretty much every week. A few discussions. Exams are pretty easy, and a research paper at the end of the semester. Overall, if you do the work, then you will get an A.

Fantastic teacher! Clear and concise, grades fairly. I like that he didn't teach religions from the perspective of Christianity (a problem I've had in other religion classes). Good use of powerpoints and video. I learned and had fun! Do the work and you will do well in the class. I'd definitely recommend this professor! A++

This professor was very clear. He gives a week to turn in assignments and to turn in a ten question quiz over the chapter. He was very easy and I had no trouble at all...just read the chapters and you will be fine on tests as well. Has a research paper at the end of the semester but it is very simple just follow instructions.

Excellent Professor. Instructions, expectations were laid out from the first day. Responded promptly to emails. Earning a good grade was easy, read the required, do all the assignments and bam..good grade. Absolutely loved him!

Took this class online- Not hard at all. Dicussion post- opinion based. Teacher is awesome and involved. Will learn alot. Test not hard- most from powerpoints. 2 essay papers- Not hard at all. Just meet the deadlines for all assignment and follow his instructions clearly. Easy online class- Not stressful

Instructions & expectations for his class are very clear. There's a weekly summary & quiz for each chapter & 4 exams. He is very nice, funny, and quick to answer emails. Class requires effort but if you work hard you will make an "A" like I did.

He is a great online teacher. Gives you a full week to work on his assignments. Just make sure you write your own opinions in his summaries for the chapter. He wants to know what you think about the religion you are studying. Great online professor :) Do the work and you will succeed.

This class has A LOT of work, and the prof is VERY strict about following directions. That being said, if you do your work, follow his instructions and follow his instructions exactly, you'll do well. Also, his 1pg chapter summary needs to be at least 6-7 pages long to get an A. I had almost perfect scores in the class, but I worked my butt off.

You use your book alot! His requested summaries are not really to be 1 page, make sure you make it like 3 to 4 and put your own opinions and experiences in the summaries. I learned alot and made an A+. I think he is a great online teacher. He gives you a week to do the work.

Took this class online and the work is very straight forward. The only thing to know is that you shouldn't miss the deadlines b/c late work is not accepted and extra credit is not given. Just be sure that you have time each week to read about a new religion and participate in the discussions.

I came to this class intrigued and interested in other religions, and was pleasantly surprised. However, I was disappointed with the grade I received. The workload was heavy, if you are a full-time student. I put in the work and still received a C. You are not given enough time for quizzes and tests. Be sure you know material.

Mr. Knighton is a great professor. I took him online for religion and I really learned a lot. That being said, since I was taking a half semester class, the work load was extremely heavy. 50+ pages of in depth reading every week, along with a quiz, discussion, and short essay. As long as you put the time in, it's a fun class.
