i think he is an ok teacher. i did fall behind and he helped me pass his class. just go everyday and do your work. but he do know what he doing and thats for sure.

Burnette is a bit eccentric and a little too flambouyant. He is a good teacher though. I had several laughs during lectures. Explains subject matter well.

Very good teacher. He does make jokes, but the class is really easy. He helps you before and after class. When I took him he seemed as if he did care for his students. If you take the web-assisted class, there's no way possible you can fail his class, unless you don't come to class

I loved his class. I hate math and he made it fun and easy. He likes to pick on you when your not paying attention and will call you out. Coming to class doesn't affect your grade much if its the web based class. Just be ready for the tests and always turn in your quizzes. No homework.

Mr. Burnette is a very helpful teacher. I hate math and he helps me and doesn't make you feel dumb. I really like this man and he makes you feel like you are smart.He explains everything very well and on test days I FEEL VERY relax and is always prepared.

Very good teacher! You cannot fail this class unless you absolutely don't do anything. He gives study guides to every test and lets you make up atleat one test if you fail it. He is a funny guy with a slighly twisted sense of humor, and uses the craziest analogies. Very easy to learn from. I made an A and recommend him!

He is a good teacher, he is on the weird side and seems to have a saying for everything. I have spent many hours in his office for 1 on 1 help that he was more than happy offer. He will not let anyone fail. He actually checked over everyones final before they officially turned it in to make sure that they would pass!Take!

His class was ok. He knew what he was doing, but was a jerk. I knew the stuff, I had an A average ALL semester, but he made me redo my homework many times and would call on me when he knew that I wasnt paying attention. He is very rude, one time I went to the restroom. When I returned he told me that I was not to use the restroom during his class.

Mr. B. is the most caring teach er I have had yet. I've taking his class about 2 years ago and he is still interested in my progress. He is very clear in his teachings and you will get an easy A if you pay attention.

Mr. Burnette is great his sense of humor is strange and that is what makes it so hilarious. We never used the textbook. He gives a practice test to take home before every test;if you complete it that's extra credit towards your test grade (sometimes really help). HIGHLY RECOMMNEND!!!!!

Although I made a B in his class, I found Mr. Burnett to be condicending and very negative when it came to how he saw most of us students. His very strange sense of humor tended to be out of place in class and just not that funny. I would not take him again unless I just felt like being made to feel stupid on a daily basis.

Mr. Burnette was literally the most amazing math teacher I have EVER had. I am 100% dumb when it comes to math and never had I gotten anything higher than a C. But when I took Mr. Burnette's class, I left with an A. He is always willing to help you, and explains everything so clearly. TAKE HIM!

Mr. B is an excellent teacher. Show more than one method to solve a problem. Attendance a must. He stays after class if you need extra help. PLEASE sign up for his class if you want to learn.

He really tries to make it simple and easy to fallow, he expects you to respond in class. Attendance counts for a grade but he posts the class notes online so if your sick you have the lesson. His jokes are cheesy but he's trying to get you to like math. Ive always hated and been horrible in math but got an A in his class. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Burnette is a wonderful teacher he gives wonderful examples to help you better understand your math lesson. Also he's very helpful.My advice to anyone is to take Mr.Burnette class!!!

When I say I literally didn't know about math before taking his class I am being truthful, after his class & teaching style I passed the course w/an A, now I'm enrolled in his next class 0024 & plan on taking his class for my next level of math. I highly recommend taking his class.

Mr.Burnette is a good teacher. If you pay attention to him you could pass with no problem. He helps you pass this course and takes time out for his students if that what you ask of him. My advice is to attend class, stay off your phone texting, and ask questions. He may try to thin ahead of you but you still ask what you don't understand

His dry sense of humor can be looked past. He's just not funny as he thinks he is. Go to class, do your work, ask for help and you shall recieve. He makes it too hard to fail his class unless you'r an idiot and don't try. GL

Mr. Burnette is a damn good teacher. I was late for a lot of my classes and he doesn't take his time to make a clown out of you like some other professors do. He explains things very well and uses real-life examples to help. Do the homework, study, and you're good. Take him!

BEST TEACHER EVER!!! I hated math before I took his class and I finished his class with an A. I dont understand how antone could possibly fail his class. He gives you reviews for the test and usually the reviews have almost the same questions as the test. Hiis crazy comments help you remember the material.... TAKE HIM!

Great teacher!!!! I was able to get through 18 in just a few weeks and he let me audit his 28 class and is willing to exempt me :) so I go into 1033. Very helpful and helped me save $400. If you think you can't do Math...take his class!!!! You will actually understand it!

Mr. Burnette is awesome. He is very helpful. He makes it a point to meet with his students at the Learning commons the Saturday before every test, if he is available, to get in an extra review session. He is very patient and understanding. I had him for MAT0018 and was very pleased to have him for MAT0028. Wish he taught more classes!! He's great!!

I LOVE HIM!!!! Really easy! If you need help, he is willing to help you. And his reviews are in the EXACT same format as the test. The problems are just different. I've always made C's, D's and F's until I took him. I made an A on all 3 tests, an A on the final and A in the class!!! I wish he taught all maths!

Mr.Burnette was awesome. I HATE math but he was always willing to help. Didn't get the book. Just printed off the slides from BB and wrote notes on those. He has a "slick" mouth but he doesn't mean any harm. Must be in class though.

Let me make it clear: I am HORRIBLE at math. I barely passed any math class after elementary school. I was lucky to make a high C. With Burnette everything made sense. He actually made everything I never understood crystal clear and math finally makes sense. Take his class if you struggle with math. You won't regret it.

I am honestly horrible at math, thus I had to take remedial math. This is actually my second time taking it, because the first time I understood nothing. But Brunette really is a great teacher and for once in my life I understood math. My average grade in math is a high D to a low C. In his class? My final grade was a 105.

Very good teacher. Was always horrible in math and currently have an A. Explains everything in a way everyone can understand and doesn't move on to the next problem until everyone is ready. Also very funny.

Mr. Burnette really cares about his students success. He even takes time on the weekends if students are struggling to make sure that they understand the concept being taught. Come to class and expect homework but if you do your work and pay attention in class, there should be no reason why you do not pass with an "A". I highly recommend him.

Burnette is a great teacher. The best way to communicate with him is through e-mail or arriving a few minutes early to class to ask question. He does Saturday sessions in case you get behind in your work. He will try his best to make sure you understand the work being given. Would take his class again.

he is a really great professor! the only way you will pass his class is by doing all of his homework and online quizzes on ALESK. He bases his test off of the Quizzes and homework you take on ALESK. do all the homework and write them down as practice for his quizzes and test! lazy people WILL fail his class!!!

Great professor. Was very helpful. Provided extra help before and after class. Responds quickly via email. Broke down the problems more than the book did and made sure that each student knew how to do the problems before moving on. Mr. Burnette is a excellent professor. He takes the time to give examples of problems in different ways. Everyone learns different and he has mastered teaching students at their level. Very helpful and fun professor. He uploads lecture notes so that you will have a chance to study as needed. I highly recommend him for MAT0018 and MAT0024.

Ignore the bad reviews. I listened to the bad reviews but he proved me wrong. I had him as an online class through zoom and his lectures were easy to follow. He will go out of his way to help you if you ask questions. You can log in an hour before class and get private tutoring. He responds to emails. Just listen and ask for help and you'll do good
