This class is great for shy people. He helps with the self discovery process and throws in some psychology for good measure. Great for personal growth.

Perfect GE credits -- easy grader, understands if you don't want to be there, creates a classroom environment that makes it easy to make a speech.

Best instructor in the department. Makes a comfortable environment for speaking, doesn't accept anything from people if it will mess with someone's speech. Commands and receives respect.

This is a great teacher. He makes the class fun and at the same time promotes personal growth and discovery.

RAndy Rocks! He teachs his students to let go of perfectinism which always them to be better students. He is very animated and understanding. He totally alivated strees in public speaking! He is imaginate and empathtic. I recommend him highly!

I enjoyed having Randy as my Communications teacher. He is very helpful in letting me pass the class and when I have trouble giving speeches. I would recommend other students to have him first as Communications professor.

He is goofy and sometimes weird, but its just so he can grab your attention at 7:45am which isn't easy to do. He's easy to follow. The book is easy to read. He's very helpful after class. Just show up! You'll have fun and its easy! But if youhave bad attendance, forget it. College isnt for everyone.

It's a Speach class. Yes, you have to give speaches in front of people. Hardest part of class. However, Fujishin makes the drama easy. Takes you step by step through speach process. Very fair and caring teacher. Fujishin is a blessing. Looking to laugh, looking to actually enjoy comm 1, then take Randy's class.

Very helpful teacher. He is one of the best teachers at West Valley in my opinion. He can be a bit strict at times but only when he needs to be. Make sure you read the text, it helps you prepare for your speeches and it also helps you on his tests.

Randy is an awesome teacher and was my absolute favorite at West Valley. My favorite thing about his classes was that I actually loved going, because he kept everything interesting and had great modules and explanations for everything he taught. He is also very entertaining, and brings out the best in everyone in the class. When you leave the class you feel like you know everyone there, and are really sad to see everyone go. Well i took Randy in all 3 of his speach classes that he taught in a 2 year period. I got my speach certificate with him. I can say he is one of the best teachers i have ever had. Granit i took his classes about 5 or 6 years ago, so things might have changed. He was an awesome teacher, in which helped me get over my fears of communicating in different situations. Two thumbs up!!!

I used to hate public speaking. Randy helped me overcome that fear and taught me practical skills that I can use in public comm. Also taught us skills to use in 1-on-1 communication. Sometimes strict, but overall a great teacher. Really helpful. Has a great sense of humor. I want to take his comm 25 class and get my comm certificate.

A nice but very superficial teacher. His jokes and funny antics get old and boring really fast. Doesn't have a vested interest in students. Petty requirements can be confusing. He talks like its an easy class but its not!

Very nice teacher, funny, his jokes are sometimes corny but it's funny. Of course he loves to talk, especially about his wife (But who wouldn't if you love them so much?). If you DO what he says... You will be rewarded. Very easy to pass his class, got D's on 2 of his test, and still past with an A. Once you take him, you'll never forget about him.

Must come every class and don't be late or he will kick you out which means points missed. Not much homework at all. Makes public speaking easy and enjoyable. The best teacher by far! Learned a lot.
