Nicest professor ever. Too Easy. Easiest A. I came in late and turned in a late paper he gave me full credits. Too chill. Very interesting and in the beginning of class he had us introduce each other and had many "icebreakers". Recommend this class but if you're going to a UC you are in trouble. Easy A again. Great Teacher! Tries to get everyone to participate, making the class very fun! Doesn't really follow the syllabus b/c he wants to make sure everyone gets the material. Tests are multiple choice. The paper was the worse part of the class... but there's a paper for every class. I would recommend him to all students planning to take PSY 1 OR BIO PSY!

Randy is by far the COOLEST teacher I had at ELAC. His teaching methods make you want to go to class and learn. He's very easy to talk to and takes time out to explain if you're confused. I took Social Psych & Sports Psych with him. I highly recommend his classes if you're interested in psychology. He'll make you LOVE it.

Very interesting teacher, very relevant and up to date with pop culture and scientific/psychology journals. He makes sure you get the subject material, but most of his grading is based on his lessons, not the textbook. Make sure you pay attention and take notes. Good sense of humor but the project for Psych 2 sucks.

I was in ELACs 1st ever Psychology Stats,I was glad Randy taught the class.He made sure we all understood what the numbers meant after we calculated it step by step vs. in regular stats they just give u a bunch of number n u just calculate wit a calculator witout knowing what the number represents. Took this for summer. Easy and nice teacher. Goes off topic a lot and uses up a lot of time for trivial things, which is more of a waste of time on account of it being a summer course. Tests are not difficult and he is very lenient with grading. There's a perfect attendance award at the end, but it has no academic value.

Very easy class. No homework. When he teaches, it's really interesting and engaging. However, half the time he's talking about the clubs he's in charge of. Pay attention to his lecture and read his printouts for an easy grade. Highly recommended if you ignore that he's talking about irrelevant topics half the time.

He does tell a lot of stories but i think people who say he goes off topic miss the point of most of his stories and most likely zone out instead of listening therefore missing the point. Prof. Lugwid is very active, positive and motivated person. He is willing to help student to find their interests rather pushing them to do the works. He will be very promoted the textbook but won't really use it during the class instead reading by urself. You have to do the presentations(only 1 or 2) in order to pass the class. Recommended!!

Psych 02 is definitely an interesting class you definitely have to read and study his handouts!!! Make sure you go beyond on your group project & you will do good in this class!

i took him for fall really cool funny teacher to have :) he does explain briefly but make sure you do lots of reading for the tests they can be easy but also pretty hard so take his test very seriously ! we take notes all semester and a few quizzes its chill also put alot of effort into your group projects is worth the most points ! overall good!

Ludwig goes off topic all the time, his class is not an easy A for some people. There was probably only 4-5 A's in my class. He doesnt curve or anything so everything you get you need to earn. Study the handouts 100%, he will ask for every little detail that was on the handout for the test. Even the ones you think wont be on it, it will.

Ludwig is really awesome I really love his class. Probably one of my favorites this semester. Participating in this class is a must and tends to do an oral test meaning he would ask you a question based on your answer he would give you points from 1-3 and tends to be really hard to get a 3 in less than 30 seconds (you have 30 seconds to answer)

Each test is worth 200 points and there's about 3 test throughout the semester. He is really helpful show up and take good notes everything he says tends to be important and shows up in test. Group project, participation matters

There will be three test during this course including the final exam. The test will be based on lectures and handouts. Each test is worth 200 points total points possible is 700. And a group project worth 100 points

He is a great professor. I'm not sure why some people say he is not knowledgable. How about asking questions. He is helpful & will clarify things in a simpler way if you do not understand. Randy is by far one of my favorite psychology professors. He teaches in a way that your everyday student can understand - it isn't just formulas and boring statistics, he uses real life examples and makes it fun and interesting. He can at times ramble on, but the stories usually coincide to the material if you are really listening.

You need to basically study on your own, his class is based off of group projects and tests all which are easy if you study well. His class is so much fun, you will love psychology after him. Professor Ludwig is by far one of my favorite professors at ELAC. This class inspired me to look more into research and Im glad I learned SPSS in this class which was helpful once I transfered. He will push you to your best and he truly cares about his students.

Randy is a talker, he loves trying to get his students to engage with each other and join clubs. Though he tends to stray off-topic a lot, his heart is in the right place. You won't get too many tests but they are worth a lot of the points, expect the additional +10 points. If you need any help, advice, or someone to lend an ear, he will make time.

It was scary at first, I have social anxiety so at first the participation call outs and presentations would kill me on the inside but it ended up helping me. You can tell he actually want you to understand and not memorize, it's not hard but not easy either, it's a great class to truly understand and learn what you need to learn in psych. Take it!
