He's a very cool, laidback teacher. He was my first "college" professor and i enjoyed him a lot.He doesn't come off as strict, harsh;none of that. when it comes to the material he knows what he's teaching.The tests are very easy...just pay attention. Lecture is quite boring, but hey economics is boring!! ...just take GOOD notes and you'll be fine.

Took both over 6 weekends and made A's in both. Awesome teacher, great sense of humor, and really knows what he's talking about. Tests are only hard if you don't study.

this is a great teacher, humorous and very easy to understand as well as willing to work with you. i was dreading taking economics but after taking it with this teacher i actually didnt mind it much anymore! all you have to do is take good notes and listen in class and you'll do well.

This teacher is awesome! If you take notes, pay attention in class, and study for 30 minutes (tops!) before the exams, and you get an easy A. I was DREADING economics before taking his class, and now I love it! He makes it very common sense-ical and therefore easy to remember/learn.

What can I say? Ummm came out of the class with an A and I literally slept in class half of the time. I missed several days and still got full attendance credit. Homework/attendance count for 25% of grade, 3 tests make up the other 75%. My recommendation dont even buy the book unless yu feel like wasting money.

I taking him this semester and I think he's cool! He uses example that you can relate to in your everyday life. I love the extra bonus questions he puts on the board during test time. I plan on taking 2302 with him.

I took this class online. I had to take it twice. I wasn't a big fan of economics to begin with and I hate it even more now. It's not because of him, I just don't like it. He was very nice and replied to my e-mails very quick. READ the book, otherwise you'll have to take it twice like I did. He gives you a chance at extra credit, which helped

I took his online class. It was easy for me, and there shouldn't be any problem for anybody to at least pass the class. He gives out a lot of extra credit, about 10-15% of your total grade. One very important thing: if you're taking his online class, DO NOT buy the study guide, all the questions come directly from the book.

Took this class in summer. Not a bad teacher, study for the tests, attendance/homework counted as 1 test grade. Take notes, no quizzes, 3 total test. Explained things nicely and answered question, class participation will help you pass class. Take him, he's not a hard teacher.

I took him in the winter 2007. It's only a 9-11 days class depending if you'll need to take the final exam to replace one of your test. He is extremely great, his lecture helps a lot although I read every chapters. His lecture is all you need to understand to do well on his test. Great Professor.

I like this professor, he is really knowledgeable and helpful. Keep good notes and you should make a good grade. Everything he talks about will be on the test even if is not in the book. His reviews are very helpful. I took ECON 2301 and made a pretty good grade and now I am taking 2302 one night a week and like it very much. Highly recommend.

Knows the subject in and out, and can always discuss real-world examples. He likes to crack an occasional sarcastic joke about some of the stupid things that countries or businesses do -- very funny! Tests are fairly easy if you go over the Test Review carefully, and he always gives an opportunity for easy bonus points.

Take this teacher. I had him for summer 1 and enjoyed myself greatly. You learn quite a bit and will find yourself looking at our world, politics and government more enlightened. TAKE NOTES! STUDY YOUR NOTES! You will be fine. Even if you aren't interested in the subject, his teaching style is enjoyable.

He is awesome! I took the classroom/online course in fall 2009. The book is online, but if you take good notes in his class you will barely have to read it. In the beginning of the semester he gives you the due dates for everything and since all the tests and work is online, you can work ahead. I so recommend this professor.

I took the online class. The instructions are very clear. If you choose an online course you need to be self motivated and disciplined. It was the same format as my 2301 class. The classroom lecture is very detailed and interesting. He is very knowledgeable of the material so he does not use the book in class, you will only need it to read the chapters and get ready for the test. I made an A, although I was nervous to take Economics after hearing different horror stories about it.

Instructor was very helpful when I e-mailed him, very prompt and curteous. Took his class online during the winter, took a week vacation and still did it pretty stress free. Read and use your book a lot and you'll make an easy a. Definitely would reccomend if you need it :]

Prof Methethinitis can bring understanding and clarity to economics and why things happen around you like they do. I took an online class with a once a week optional on campus lecture. Great professor, enjoy his style, he will help you in any way.

I took Microeconomics this past semester and got an A with ease. Professor Randy Methenitis while he has a tendency to get off topic, was great teacher and often told good stories. Most of the work is online and very easy. tests come straight from practice questions online and a small portion stems from class discussion.

Really great professor! He holds review sessions before tests and his study guides pinpoint what is on his tests. Plus if you go to lecture, he tells you what will be on it. If you care about learning then you should take RANDY. One of the best professors I've had. GOOD QUALITY PROF ONLINE.

13 quizzes, 4 tests, and 2 db. This class was online. I got an A. It's pretty easy just do the work. Webcom provides powerpoints, etext, and other stuff that provides help for the class material. Professor was somewhat helpful. I only emailed once and he responded quickly, but he got my name wrong. How? idk.

Absolutely great class and professor. Wish I would have taken him for 2301. Course is interesting. I highly recommend taking prof Methenitis. He is very quick to answer emails and has well set guidelines for the course, all organized. Just do what professor asks of you, do the practice quizzes, participate in DB and follow the clear guidelines.

Awesome guy who makes class fun. Doesn't teach from the book, but all of his tests come from the practice quizzes. If you do them and read, should be an easy A. I had never understood/liked economics until I took his class. After taking it I actually am better with my own money hahah. He's a really good and helpful teacher and he's also funny which makes coming to class easier. He will make you like The Daily Show. The online quizzes are really important for your grade though, and they're hard. thx randy

Great professor. Attendance mandatory. Makes economics interesting and willing to go over anything you don't understand. Gives great examples. Everything is online through webcom. I didn't study, actually just ctrl+f words in the questions and never read and still did well. Pretty straight forward. Wish I would have taken him for 2301!

I was expecting Economics to be a big bore and was expecting to get a B...but this professor is awesome! He is super considerate of your needs and replies back to emails pretty quickly and seems to have a happy attitude . I ended up making an A. Just make sure you finish the quiz/tests before the deadlines and thats it! Material is fairly easy too.

I took both 2301 and 2302 at the same time, both were half classroom/half online, which worked great for me. This teacher made it somewhat interesting, decent sense of humor, easy material. I got A+ in both classes. Take them both and with this teacher!

Professor Menthitis was helpful when I needed help. I took the class online so his tests and quizes were very similar to what's in the book. His class is a little bit hard but if you study for it then you will do fine.

I took this class flex term so it only lasted about 4 weeks. The class was very clear and easy. All you have to do is read the text and study. I recommend the class. Test are easy - medium and fairly short

I took Professor Methenitis' class in the summer. In order for one to pass you do have to read each chapter before taking the quiz. Assignments were very straight forward.

SP 2016-ONLINE 8WKS. Prof. R. Methenitis Microeconomics class was great! Didn't think economics would be easy. Worked from Online book. You can work ahead as long as it is in order. Grading scale easy to understand. Looks like its a lot of work but it gets easier as you go along. Retake tests twice-based on quiz's. GREAT PROF! "HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

I took 2301/2302 at the same time with this professor and he was great. It was a mixed class, lecture on campus but all quizzes/tests online. No room for extra credit but as long as you stick to the deadlines he gives 1st day (& constantly reminds you thru semester) you will be okay. Attendance gets you points and is beneficial to hear his lecture.

I earned an A +. Lot's of patience and always helps even when you accidentally ask questions that were just explained :0 other professors chew you out for that (hey, I was half asleep! not because the class was boring tho lol for other personal reasons) the class is organized and the syllabus and grading criteria are thoroughly explained

I loved economics, but when I took this class I began to realize how easy it could be. His materials are offered online and he gives great feedback. His coursework is easy to follow and his discussion boards are straightforward. Professor Methenitis was very informing of his class. I would recommend everyone to take him, you won't be stressed!

If you are not good at economics take this class, so easy and he's really responsive to e-mails. I would definitely take him again. And on both of the blackboard posts he graded fairly.

It's easy to find the answers to the quiz and even test questions online. Reading the textbook wasn't necessary, but you get the ebook with the access code you have to buy for the class. Had two discussions boards which were easy A's as long as you answered every part to it, he isn't specific in length or anything but gotta reply to at least 2 ppl.

I took Mr. Methenitis online for ECON 2302 while attending another university. It's a real easy class as the quiz and test answers can be found in the book or online. The class wasn't confusing, and he set clear deadlines. In addition, he also sent out reminder for upcoming deadlines. Word of advice: really TRY on the discussion boards (it'll help)

Took his basic overview of econ class online, there wasn't any typical homework, just chapter quizzes and tests as well as two discussion boards. Everything comes straight out of the textbook so as long as you have that you'll be fine. Easy A.

TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROF! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I took this class in summer 1, over 4.5 weeks. It is all on WebCom, the book is on the website for those who don't mind an ebook. This class is super easy to navigate and Mr. Methenitis emailed me back promptly when I had a question. 4 exams, 2 discussions, 13 chapters and quizzes, no final.

I personally did not buy the textbook and I got an A. The class is actually very easy and the professor does a nice job of making everything clear. I took this 8-week course and finished it in about 4 weeks. I went at my own pace and decided to finish it and focus on other classes. TAKE HIM! I highly recommend him!

I just finished his online class and was very pleased with how it ended. There were lots of quizzes but the questions were not that difficult. I personally did not buy the textbook and got an A. I would say this class was fairly easy if you put in effort.

I have taken Prof. Methenitis for 2301 and 2302. He is a great teacher. He gives very clear expectations, is understanding, and cares about his students. He posts great videos and lectures that explain everything. You will not find a better teacher for econ. His class is interesting and you will do great if u follow his instructions. A++++

I took his ECO 2301 and ECO 2302 his class is extremely easy class. His class consist of quizzes , test and two discussion boards.

This is the by far the best professor that I've taken. He's super laid back, yet he's discussion boards are very interesting and made me really gain some knowledge about the economy. I definitely recommend him! Quizzes, 4 exams, and 2 discussion boards.

Best courses, NOT self pace, syllabus is firm, no flexibility around it. Read the e-text material thoroughly, quizzes and exam are open book. Two discussions with peer participation required. Grading was immediate post quizzes and exam. Discussions are graded AFTER due dates. Overall, I made As in these 2 courses & learned a lot! Do the work!!

An amazing professor and person! I forgot about an assignment because it had been a long week and he gave me a day extension with no questions asked! He really cares about his students and it really shows! I took an 8-week course and it was a lot of work but he made it so easy! The final exam's optional and replaces the lowest test grade as well!

Took ECON 2301&2302 online, pretty easy class as long as you do the work. Class consists of chapter quizzes(about 12), 4 tests and 2 discussion boards. Took both courses in 8 week time frame with no problem! Highly recommend!

Honestly, he's a good professor. His lectures are very very clear and he makes sure all his students know what to do. His tests can be hard though so you have to work really hard for a good grade. His quizzes are online and the homework is both online and in person.

He is so kind, considerate, and funny. Hes really there for his students and wants them to learn and succeed. Talk to him. He is great. You will enjoy his lectures, too. 10/10 He is an amazing professor. I thought economics would be a boring course but he made it fun. All of his tests are easy and he pretty much tells you what they will be about! His tests also have 10-20 points of extra credit. There is a lot of material but he tried to make it easier on his students by simplifying it as much as he can.

Took Prof Methenitis for Econ 2301 & 2302. Both were easy online classes. If you read the chapters and do the practice questions you should get a good grade on the quizzes and unit test since they are very similar. For a 5 week course there are 13 quizzes, 4 unit test, and 2 discussion boards. Quizzes and test are graded instantly. Highly recommend

Econ 1301-Easy class. There are like 13 quizzes (2 attempts), 4 Test (1 attempt), and 2 discussions. I literally finished the class early. He gives you like a week and a half to finish assignments. Best online class ever.

I opened the textbook once, to complete one of the discussions boards. Other than that, most of the grades come from quizzes and tests. Most of those answers are either common sense or a google search away.

If you take an online with this prof make sure to participate by responding to the discussion boards. Otherwise, the course and discussions are easy.

Easy online class with quick assignments. Use unstuck AI and the textbook to breeze through the quizzes and tests. Minimal lecture, but manageable if you put in the work.
