I think Dr. Mogg is an awesome instructor. He's a very nice guy and is willing to explain anything you ask. He uses powerpoint, his notes are very clear and all of the stuff on his tests are taken from them. I would love to have him as an instructor again!! He's also very understanding if you aren't there for tests and lets you make them up.

This class covers a lot of material, but the tests are based totally on the lecture notes, not on the textbook material. Attend every class, pay attention, and take detailed notes, and you can definitely do well. His lectures were drawn out and boring. During lab period, he would sit at his desk and not walk around to help lab groups. Most importantly, he was late to class almost every single day. He showed up 18 minutes late to our final exam and did not apologize. Still trying to figure out who to contact about this professor..

Dr Mogg presents information is several different ways so, at test time, you have a fairly good grasp on the topics covered. I found his stories interesting and helpful in understanding the material. If you attend lecture and lab, you will pass. I would recommend him to other students.

Dr Mogg was a very good teacher. He does his own PowerPoints and explains them well. Without his explanations, it is difficult to understand. He posts the lecture notes at the beginning of the semester. He says everything in class that is on the test. The only interactive part of the class is lab. Do the assignments and you will pass.

Dr. Mogg is very knowledgeable, and when you approach him 1-1 he will give you an answer. However, his lectures are monotone and ridiculously repetitive, and not at all interactive. He made it seem like we were disturbing him if we asked a question during lecture. His tests were all over his lectures, but I still felt super unprepared. AVOID.

So I took this class this Summer 16' & I didn't enjoy it at all. Mogg lectures THE ENTIRE TIME and he doesn't ask any questions. He seems frustrated when students ask questions in class. He's a very smart guy he's just not good at simplifying things for students. Be prepared to teach yourself! Doesn't use the book at all. Doesn't respond to emails!

Definitely recommended. I took this class in summer time. I thought it would be the hardest, but Dr. Mogg made it so easy. He explains everything very well and make sure everybody understands by repeating the same thing and summarize it. If there is a big word, he breaks it down to pieces and explain each piece to make it easier to understand.
