He is a good professor and very passionate about what he teaches. Helps you understand the lecture with daily life examples. The tests are pretty easy but you have to study! Come to the class and take notes and you'll do fine especially if the class average is low, what is pretty common at Mesa.

All you need to do in this class is show up and take notes. I have never really needed the book at all. He tells you what is going to be on the test. The test are hard, but he curves it. I enjoy his class very much, i would recommend him

Nino is a good teacher who knows a lot about what he teaches and lectures in greater detail than is provided by the notes. Copy these down and I promise you won't even need to buy the book. He prepares you very well for tests if you listen to him. By the way if you pay attention at least a little in class his tests are very overrated. They're easy.

Nino was awesome- made class interesting and really cares about students. Very helpful and will contact ASAP with class topics (if missed) and other questions you have- tests are multiple choice- easy if you take lecture notes and gives extra credit options. Would definately take him again if needed!!

Needs to calm down, cause he's just fine at teaching and clearly very knowledgeable. Funny, very nice, you'll hear a few of his stories and examples more than once but it wasn't too bad. Will bend over backward to help you make up a test, long as you let him know ahead that you'd miss it. Take notes, skim them before tests, and it's an easy A.

THE BEST PROF ON CAMPUS. Take his class. No need to buy book everything is from the lecture and notes. Not a gimme "A" you have to earn it but it's a breeze. I will take ANY class this man teaches whether I need it or not!

Mr Nino has his lectures all planned out. Listen take notes. You will pass if you just show up and take the tests. If you work and study you will get an easy A. Grades on a curve. He covers the basic psych101 material and resists getting off on a tangent. Do extra credit for easy A.

Experimental Psychologist Randy Nino, Experimental Psychologist, is the best professor known to man. He will teach you everything you need to know, and then some. Also known as "El Nino" and "Nino The Bambino", Professor Nino will captivate you beyond belief.

I hated Psychology before I took this class,but now its something that I want to possibly minor in college. I'm a High School Student, the class was part of a college academy program.

He was a gr8 teacher. He is very helpful. Friendly guy. Tests were easy I never studied i just listened in class and took note and that was it. NO HW!! its sweet just lecture and a vid some times. You have to take him he is the best. I only had 1 problem with him, that is he needs 2 wear a belt w/ his suit other than that his class was SWEET!!

Professor Nino was a very cool teacher.Nice guy and very helpful.It was obvious that he likes the subject matter and he was interesting to listen to in lecture.This class isn't the easiest,but if you study and attend all of the lectures you will be ok.You have to write a 10 page research paper in this class as well.

Randy is a great instructor, the material is difficult and his exams are tough but the curve is not that rough. If you apply yourself and are not an idiot you can for sure get a "B", however if your a moron maybe you should change majors to phys ed.

Pretty easy class if you attend regularly and take notes. The 4 tests and final are based on lecture slides, so study your notes. He drops your lowest score and curves the grades based on ALL his classes, including past ones. You could probably do without the book, but you'd get a better understanding of the subject with it.

Mr Nino prepares his students well for the exams. He explains clearly and makes the material interesting. He could be a little too fast when he's trying to cover all material he wants to include in the exams. His exams are NOT easy. However, he grades on an extremely generous curve. He is shy and needs to work on his eye contact during lecture.

Took the class over summer. Easy class. Bought the book but didnt use it at all. Tests are pretty easy, just go over your notes. Offers 5 points of extra credit before every test. We had 5, so there was an opportunity to get 25 pts. He dropped the lowest test. Easy class, I got an A without trying.

Be prepared to write a lot, there is a lot of material. Definitely a very easy A, unless you put absolutely no effort into studying for the tests. I did the extra credit but I could've just as easily gotten an A without it because of the curve.

Class is very intersting and he is a very good teacher. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. Just write down everything he puts on the overhead and you will get and A. Honestly I almost think his curve is too generous. I'm not motivated to study the material because people who get half of the test Qs wrong pass with a C.

This class is way easy. He grades on a curve and out of 200 points total at the end, you could get an A with 128. He totally lowers the level because students suck at mesa. That's not how I would do it, but oh well it made this class the easiest class ever. Plus the topics are interesting and the teacher is very nice. Take this class!!

4 40pt tests and an 80pt final. Not only does he curve like crazy, you get to drop the lowest test AND you can do easy 2 page extra credit papers for EACH exam worth 5 points. SO SO SO easy. He will tell you on the first day that "This review is a lie, you need the book"...please, please, please, do NOT get the book. You'll be crying if you do.

Professor Nino is a good teacher. His tests are WAY too easy, but many students still seem to fail. He also curves like crazy. A B- would be an A after his curve. All you need to do is take notes and pay attention in class and the textbook won't be necessary.

I love this professor! When I leave class I feel like I actually learned something new. He has a fun and quirky way of teaching his lectures are interesting and he uses the whiteboard to write thing out, diagrams, and explains everything he's talking about. I would highly reccomend Mr. Nino.
