Don't listen to the person below me. They obviously don't know how to read notes. Professor Ranjan was awesome! His tests are straight memorization but he pretty much gives you hints on everything to study. Topics are fun. He writes out notes, no pp, and you need to write them as well. He's a great professor hes just not going to baby you.

As the person below me stated he will not baby you. All of his test are based off memory and they are aren't fill blank type tests either. Mr Ranjan is a good teacher its just the testing is what made me drop the class. I wasn't looking for an easy A but essay tests aren't my strong suit and thats what the bulk of our grade was based on.

If you are looking for an easy A and if you are good at memorization, this is the class for you! His test are essay form, so if youre not good at it I recommend not taking him. Write the notes he gives and come to class attendence is random. oh and he's Canadian so if you do take him be prepared for some nerdy jokes :)

An awesome professor. His class is definitely not an easy A but if you study, it's certainly attainable. He knows his stuff and makes things interesting. Recommended if want an equally fun and challenging class.

GREAT professor! Easy A if u MEMORIZE the info on the tests. Gives study guide 2 weeks before exams so that is enough time to MEMORIZE the info. Take all the notes and study those notes and you will pass. Corny jokes but he is very cool and makes the information interesting to learn. Take him! You won't be disappointed. I got an A :)

I really enjoyed professor Ranjan course. If you don't like to study and want an easy "A", then this class is not for you. I learned a lot about my ability to remember details and film. If you hate art and enjoy film, take this course it not kick rocks. GREAT PROFESSOR! Not for the lazy folks.

If you are looking for an easy A this is not the class for you. Professor Chhibber knows his stuff WELL. He WILL NOT baby you but he is will help you. All test are based off of memory and all test are in essay format. He is a great teacher but if you're not good at memorizing a lot of information and writing essays on the spot then don't take him!

This was totally not what i expected. Yes you do have to read and study. Methodically pre-write your answer down prior to exam for memorization.I too thought it was impossible to achieve, but it was very feasible.He is easy to talk to and a class well worth taking. My grade of "A" was well earned. Oh yeah he does just give three exams,intentionaly!

awesome teacher! not easy test but if you study and memorize what he tells you then you will pass. gives points for guessing. awesome material, you will learn a lot of cool and interesting things. comes off as hard at first but once you get to know him you will realize hes one of the best professors. he will help you a lot if you ask for it.

A very intresting teacher. very clear about everything and writes the exact notes you need to take. only grades are 4 tests and memorization is needed to make a good grade i love this prof and find the class very easy is you show up and pay attention and study notes a little before a test. if you talk to him some after class he will help you lots.

Great teacher who loves what he teaches, teaching style is lecture, what he writes down is what you need to write down, all tests based off of notes and little of book reading. Test are Essay style, He gives out a sylabus a few classes before the test, tells which topics you need to study. If test are based on well you memorize. Easy if you study.

He is an awesome pofessor!!! He is very enthusiastic about his class, and is very well informed about his topics. Course is graded on essay test, based on memory, easy to remember, and he is an easy grader. I would recommend him any time!!!

Professor R'za is am awsome teacher. He gives you all the notes in class. They are had written so that you can write with him. He explains everthing in great detail, and he knows his stuff well. Its not an easy A, but the class is acutally amazing. I was most inpressed with his teaching skills, the way he makes you actuall pay attetion and lear!!

Professor who loves what he teaches, this asian humanities class is interesting and captivating. Tests are easy as long as you study and memorize information.

Professor Ranjan's class takes a lot of memorization but it is well worth it. He makes class interesting and incorporates films so that your not always taking notes. He writes down the notes as you copy them and tells you what to expect on all your test. Easy A if you put in the time and effort!!

This was by far one of my favorite classes and my favorite professor I've ever had and I've been to two different colleges. As long as you go to class and pay attention you're going to make it out with an A. I took his class last year and would take any of his classes in a heartbeat. He makes the subject actually interesting!

Amazing class. Hes an awesome professor and very good at explaining everything and gives you study guides for all test. Just make sure to go to class bc if not ask other students about what you missed not him. This class is on polytheism cultures. Pretty interesting and has the most a very interesting wardrobe. MOST DEFIANTLY TAKE HIM.

This class isn't super hard and all you've got to do is pay attention and take notes. The reading is a little bit tougher but Dr. Chhibber is a very fair grader.

Class is lecture based and you have to attend, the teacher does spot attendance. The teacher loves what he does and what he teaches, his lectures are interesting and include references and media clips to pop culture (ie Thor, cartoons, asian films). His tests are memorization and lecture based, but the professor gives you a study guide beforehand.

I loved this class, Wasn't really that interested in the material covered in the class, but I grew to really enjoy it. He is an awesome teacher, and the class is easy and fun if you go to class every week and take the class seriously. I highly recommend him and the class!

Have great memorization skills or you won't do well!!! As long as you pay attention and write down whatever he writes down you should pass. And he is a bit eccentric, and definitely not one to be trifled with!

This guy was amazing. I had little interest in the subjects at first but then I grew to love it. I recommend this professor because he's very enthusiastic in his lectures. The class overall is fairly easy too. Always show up on time if possible and take good notes and you should ace this course!

Pro. Ranjan will tell you straight up what he is expecting from you and how to pass his class. All his test are long answer, there is no multiple choice. Monday he will lecture (TAKE NOTES) Wednesday he'll put on a movie(TAKE NOTES). In my class we watched Hangover 2, fun and interesting class. He is as easy A but you gotta put in the work.

This class was amazing. The professor makes the material so easy to understand and his class is so fun to learn. He only has three tests but it is divided between a super easy quiz, the midterm, and the final. You have to pay attention in class to pass this test. You will love him!

He is one of the best teacher's I have ever had! He is Lecture driven instead of discussion which I love and he's really down to earth and cool!

Not the easiest class, but also not the hardest . Theres only 3 tests. In order to pass, you must have good MEMORIZATION!! tests are basically essays, and he's a fair grader. Class was very interesting! If I got an A, then theres no reason you can't!

By far my favorite professor class I've ever taken. He gives out study guides that are exactly what he's expecting you to know on the test. Tests' are essay responses. His lectures are long but they're very interesting, they're not discussion based, and he gives breaks. Expect to read a lot but mostly short, interesting books.

Get ready to memorize in this class. For his test, we had to literally memorize his notes word for word. Lectures were long and this professor definably is passionate about his cinema. The class is passable but get ready to work for it.

He is a funny, good dressing professor who does give long lectures and the test will make you cry. When he gave us the study guide for the final I about broke down mentally. Take notes word for word because ONE part of the test is to write his entire lecture notes word for word. It's a hard class and you HAVE TO WORK HARD FOR YOUR GRADE. goodluck

The end of the class made me realize a lot, I learned so much that I now look for cult like behaviors in people and it's pretty funny to my family. He makes you work for it but he knows effort and won't let you fail miserably. He's an amazing professor and I loved his class. He's a professor I'll remember forever

This was a James Bond class so participation mattered for when we had a movie to watch, and he let us know if we needed to stay for it or not. If you're good at memorization this class is SUPER easy, if not, probably go somewhere else. He's very funny, and will happily help you whenever you need it!

An overall amazing teacher. Tests are long and can be difficult but he gives you the material you need to study. As long as you have all the notes from the lectures and pay attention you will do well. I would definitely take him again.

ENG 2100 Film Studies-8 wk online course because I had no other option. I was dreading it right away. I was incredibly nervous because of his syllabus- he seems intimidating. However, he is THE most helpful prof. I'm sure I'll ever have. Gives 3 chances to take a quiz. Just read! It can be confusing but he works with you!!! Passionate & nice prof.

It is the best class I have ever taken. Dr. Chhibber is very energetic, dedicated, and professional. He is helpful. The lectures are interesting, attractive, and rich. Some students said that we need good memories for this class. I say If you work enough, you will get an EASY A. I am from other country, if I can do it, you don't have problem.

I took his cult class and it was awesome. He is very helpful if you ask for it. You can't be late to lectures because he ask you to memorize the notes for exams. You have to read a lot of books in a short amount of time. He's an awesome professor. Just go to class and do your work. STUDY!

This professor made it very clear from the beginning that even though it looked like a cake class in the course description, it would not be. He provided inciteful feedback that allowed me to learn from mistakes made earlier in the semester. Essays were often 500 words but required attention to detail. Easy to talk to, and understanding.

Ranjan has a way of pulling you into each of his lectures. He is always there to help you when you get lost. His teaching style is different from other because he uses comic books and clips of TV shows to help you understand what he is talking about. Overall I would take this class again.

If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes you definitely should! I enjoyed his odd, eccentric approach very much. His class was a breath of fresh air for me. You will need to read and some of the tests were a little difficult, but as long as you read you will do well.

Ranjan was great! He really went out of his way to make sure his students succeeded. His tests are crazy memorization but he was always willing to look over your notes for you and help you out. He was always quick to respond to emails and just a great professor.

Ranjan was an amazing professor, very helpful towards his students and a fun class. Tests were mostly memorization of the lecture notes and readings, but handouts were very useful to help your studies! Overall he is a great professor.

he is hands down my favorite prof! ive taken 2 of is classes and got an A in both. you have to come to class, you will take a lot of notes, your study guide is your test to the tee. you can send him your study guide as long as you get it done in time and he will go over it with you! all you have to do is memorize your study guide and u will pass!

Ranjan's test are CRAZY long, but if you actually do his study guides, you literally cannot fail. He even is nice enough to let you email your responses on certain sections and he'll let you know what you need to fix. One of the absolute BEST professors I've ever had. He seems like an ass when you first meet him, but is actually really cool!

Ranjan is AWESOME. He is up front from day 1 about his class difficulty, so you don't get to whine if you fail. If you try you won't fail. This is hands down the most interesting class I have ever taken (this was the one about cults-Charles Manson, WWE and how it's a cult ran company). Seriously, take this class. Material and lecture is amazing!

He is very upfront about his grading criteria, Leaves no questions to be asked. The class is self guided manage your time appropriately. When he knows a question will take extra time to write, he gives you the question ahead of time. There is a lot of reading, but the books are interesting. No text, take notes on video's, and read the books.

Prof. Chhibber is one of the greatest professors I'll ever have. He won't just give you an A, you have to work for it. His tests are difficult, but he gives you a thorough study guide for them.

Ranjan is awesome! He has fun classes, the one I took was about Con-men in literature. He is a pleasure of be around and will work with you if you need him too. It is an easy class as long as you prepare for the tests correctly, by showing him. Your answers and going over them yourselves. You must be good at memorizing. His video projects are fun!

He was wonderful. I took 2 different courses with him and loved them both. The materiel is entertaining making it easier to retain. He was always willing to help when needed.

He was a great and cool teacher to have! I had him this fall term, and I learned a lot in his class. His test are kinda hard, but only because I'm not good at memorizing, but I ended up getting "A's" on his test! I'm a junior at Yulee High School, taking duel enrollment, and Mr. Chhibber made me feel welcomed!

Fun class, self paced, and you must pay attention to the lessons. You cant just watch a film and expect to pass the class. File/print each lessons notes because you'll need to refer to them for the Final. I did each lesson in its entirety in one sitting because of the level of detail needed for some of the tests (specific items within the film).

The first day and reading the syllabus I hated him already the syllabus screamed toolbag but then as the semester went on I LOVED him and his class. He's not so bad to look at either

Not your avg HUM class, very interesting. Text books are 2 comic and 1 paperback about wrestling. Tests are in class and memorization only (eek!). One video project (not shown to the class), and the final is pure memorization also plus essay. A very understanding Prof who wants you to succeed so hes willing to help if you are willing to work.

Professor Ranjan was super understanding and very caring when it came to students that were going through really tough times at home. He is hilarious and super passionate about the subjects he teaches. Overall, one of the best professors I've had in college.

Professor Chhibber was Awesome! One of the most interesting topics Ive studied!, He offers multiple attemps on tests. There Are 12 total tests/assignments, one of them being a video, and then the Final. Follow his instructions to the T and you will do well. I would definitely take him again!

One of the best professors I have ever had! He's super cool and a legit professor that knows what he's talking about. He doesn't mind telling you what he's thinking and will help you however he can. Ranjan LOVES emails. EMAIL HIM QUESTIONS! Would recommend him to anyone. His class is difficult, but if you study and work hard then you will be fine.

Can't say enough good things about this teacher. He cares about what he teaches and gives you all the tools to be successful in this course, but you do have to work for it. The class is always fun and entertaining. There is a lot of memorization involved so make sure to hold on to your notes. I wish I could take more of this professor's classes.

If you're not good a memorization though this is not the class for you. For parts of his tests you need to rewrite 3-4 pages of notes from memory which can be pretty tough.

Dr Chibber is the second most favorite professor I've had in my college career. The material is not textbooks, its comic books and also some interesting reading material! His class is about memorization, so if you don't memorize well this class is not for you. Overall however he is funny but very serious about what he teaches! Would take him again!

Dr. Chhibber refers to himself in the third person context throughout the entirety of the class. I took his Film Studies course; it is not a cake course, but he does make it very enjoyable. 1st test was on the syllabus information, completion makes a written contract of the information enclosed within. I wish I needed more courses from this area.

Professor Ranjan is the greatest teacher to take Film Studies with. Nonetheless, you have to read a lot, and love the subject if you want to 100% succeed. He is hilarious and makes the course fun. I enjoyed it. He gave excellent feedback and always available for his students. Now, I know a lot about film and theories, thanks to my professor.

Absolutely loved this class. Professor Ranjan made this class fun and interesting. There were a lot of things that I did not know that I learned in this class. Which made it that more interesting. You do have to put in the work but it is really fun. I recommend this class and would take it again if I could. Awesome Professor!

Ranjan is AWESOME! I took him for HUM2020 and i liked it so much i came back for his LIT2100! At first he can come off strict but he is all bark and no bite, he will help you! His lectures are very interesting and so are the films and clips he shows. All his tests are pure memorization but its so interesting you cant forget. Take him you'll love it

Mr. Ranjan Chhibber is one of the best professors I have ever had. I had him for an Online film class and I thoroughly enjoyed the class! My class was online and from the beginning I could tell it would be a fun class. He is a very funny and genuinely nice guy. He gives great feedback! He wants you to learn so you have to do the work!

Prof Ranjan Chhibber definitely makes humanities HUM2020 interesting. I have never taken an easy humanities course. So yes be prepared to watch full version films, clips, read books for exams, but very interesting topic. Nothing comes easy you do have to watch and know material in order to pass this course. QUIZLET WILL NOT HELP YOU in this course.

Professor Chhibber was the 1st professor of my 1st ever semester of college, & I'm glad to say he was an EXCELLENT teacher! The lessons were interesting and the material was easy to understand. Stay on top of your work, go above what's expected & apply yourself, detailed answers is an automatic grade booster! He's super nice & gives great feedback!

One of the first college classes I've taken and the professor was wonderful. Movies are important to the class, as is the required reading. Make sure you spend plenty of time memorizing certain movie and book scenes. Study guides given before the tests are extremely important to complete; the best/most useful study guides I've ever gotten.

Professor Ranjan wants to see you succeed and make the class enjoyable. There was lots of reading however one reading requirement was a comic and it was quite interesting. He gives great feedback on your work and every assignment is clear. If you read the instructions/do what youre supposed to and actually try, you will enjoy the class!

He is my favorite professor I've had!He is very funny, easy to contact, and his study guides are very clear and easy to understand. Ranjan warns about all of the possibly offensive material his classes cover in the first lecture, and warns you about how hard his class is. If you aren't good at hard memorization, don't take this class.

I found this class really interesting however the professor is a huge movie lover and it shows during his lessons through the clips and movies shown. You HAVE to read his assigned books in a quick manner otherwise you will struggle to complete his tests based on them. Do his study guides before hand and you won't go wrong.

Definitely one of my more interesting professors. He's funny once you get used to him and most of the work is painless since you're given plenty of time to complete it. The video project wasn't my favorite, but if you follow the guidelines he sets out for you its a solid 100%. However, some of the assignments are wordy (but still understandable.)
