Shrestha could be more engaging, but he's up front about everything, explains things pretty well, & his tests aren't that bad (all MC this semester). Ppts are basically from the textbook verbatim. Put in some effort to the practice q's & ask him for help on Sapling assignments if confused. He doesn't mind helping & they are for correctness.
At the beginning it seemed like he was going really fast, but he actually is a very thorough teacher who will slow down and even go on a 5 minute tangent explaining a concept in detail if he feels someone is confused. His quizzes are super easy and his tests are challenging but he curves them a lot. Its honestly my favorite class this year.
I had Shrestha last year. Fair grader (always know what you did wrong), won't go on tangents, explains concepts well and is easy to find if you need more help on a concept. If you're stuck, see him sooner rather than later cause the course builds on itself. Do the problem sets, they're the best way to prep for quizzes and tests.
This is my second class with this professor, and I'll tell you the most important thing about the class is that you show up. Everything that he will test you on will be covered in class, or given on the study guide. Also, he will scale the class average to a B.
I had Professor Shrestha for both intermediate micro and macro. Although it's not always the most interesting material, his lectures are very organized and clear. He grades fairly and explains all the concepts you need to know in class. He is very approachable and willing to help outside of class, too. Highly recommend!
You're going to look at a chalkboard for a long time. However, his lectures are clear, he will always take time to answer any questions, and is very approachable outside of class. He clearly cares about teaching.
His classes are entirely lectures. They are very clear and planned out, however, you're going to want to sleep or skip class. Tests are worth a lot and he says there will be pop quizzes but I never got one. Tests aren't too hard, however you definitely need to study. A is doable. As far as Econ goes, I've heard much worse about other professors.
Very logical lectures. Accessible outside class. Always willing to help. Not very hard material. If you go to his class, youll be fine. Tests are not hard as long as you pay attention in class.
Love Shrestha so much, please take a class with him if you have a chance. The class was 20% each for three finals, 10% for online hw, and 30% for the final. He has plenty of office hours and has very clear and understandable lectures. His tests are all mc and super easy, the practice questions very similarly resemble the questions on the tests
2-3 homework assignments weekly. While lectures could sometimes be helpful, the examples were often confusing. While his office hours were unhelpful, the office hours held by his TA are a great resource if you're struggling. 3 Midterms, a final and a homework average for the semester are the only grades.
His lectures are neat and easy to follow along, and he'll post all of the lectures and practice problems to Blackboard. Homework is largely done through a website called Sapling, which you have to pay $42 to register for. Tests are multiple choice, but with some studying they're not difficult at all.
Solid choice for an intro class. 3 midterms, a final, and some online homework modules. All multiple choice. Study for the tests and you'll do fine.
Fantastic professor! Intermediate macro is going to be an extremely hard econ class, great professor or not, so keep that in mind. But Shrestha is fantastic! He had office hours 4 out of 5 weekdays, creates study guides, and will draw out every concept during class. He would even spend class time working through the study guides! Great professor!
Professor Shrestha is a great professor who teaches in a manner that both makes sense and doesn't make the material feel dumbed down. Tests are all multiple choice and as long as you study you'll do fine.
This class consisted of 4 tests, 3 "midterms" (basically unit tests) and a final (cumulative). Professor Shrestha is a very nice man, and definitely knows the course material, but his lectures are long and boring. He (and his TA) are easily accessible outside of class, and the class is an easy A if you show up and put minimal effort into it.
Such a nice guy! His teaching and grading style are very straight forward. Class was based on 3 tests, hw, and 1 final. Your lowest test grade was replaced by your final exam grade if it was higher. Tests were easy as the optional practice problems he puts out are VERY similar to those on the test. Do the practice problems and you'll be fine.
Sold econ prof. Accessible outside of class and really taught concepts well. DO PRACTICE PROBLEMS!!
He's clear at explaining concepts and you will learn a lot by taking notes. However, he goes quite fast on topics so be ready to have your notebook out at all times. Look away one second and you will miss something.
Professor Shrestha is a really nice guy! Although it is definitely not mandatory to attend class in my opinion, it will definitely help when the tests roll around.
His lectures and powerpoints are pretty good, sometimes he goes a little fast but overall he is clear and detailed. If you do the practice problems and pay attention in class then you'll be fine. He can be a pretty funny guy as well
Good professor. Was not really exciting but taught really well. He's good at breaking down and explaining concepts. Textbook reading is not required but it helps. Homework is not collected but is VERY benifical to your understanding. Would take him again if I had to take Macro.
Shrestha is straightforward and explains things clearly. 3 tests and 3 quizzes, all MC. Reading the textbook wasn't necessary but was helpful. Practice problems aren't mandatory but definitely do them, because they mostly reflect what's on quizzes and tests. Goes over practice problems & missed quiz or test questions in class. Solid choice for 101!
great professor! have 3 quizzes, 2 midterms, and the final and that's it. definitely do the study guides multiple times because the quizzes/tests are similar to those. prof is accessible outside of class and will explain things in detail. even does study guide in class if you ask. overall would recommend, I loved the class!
Professor Shrestha is super straightforward, goes directly according to the textbook and lecture slides. The practice problems he posts are the best and primary way to study for the exams. Sometimes he puts stuff in lectures that he won't post online, but for the most part you don't need to go to class. Straightforward and you know what to expect
shrestha is a good professor, he takes time during class to answer questions and makes sure to review before the quizzes. you definitely have to do all the practice problems and study to do well on the quizzes & tests. i found the material interesting and applicable to daily life/important to know. i recommend taking w/ him over greer
I had Shrestha for both Micro and Macro 101 and 102. His tests/quizzes are all MC and go in-depth. Final was hard but the midterms are somewhat manageable. Highly suggest reading the textbook. search up practice tests online to practice and you will do fine. Overall he is the best professor for lectures, he explains everything in-depth
He is the worst professor I've ever taken at this school. I would never take his class again and avoid this man at all costs. His lectures are boring, and he puts in no effort in teaching the material to this class. If you have to take him, you will learn everything off youtube and the textbook.
He offers no curves, his lectures are mediocre at best, and he is overall the worst professor ive ever had. He will never answer any of your questions or be accommodating.
Macroeconomics is pretty cash and his lecture slides are helpful. As long as you can understand the material and understand how processes work instead of memorizing material you will get an A. Solid prof.
I had professor Shrestha for both ECON 101 and 102 and I personally thought he was a fantastic professor. His lectures are very easy to follow along if you pay attention in class and he very willing to help/answer questions. I think the reason why people complain is because they can't grasp the material well themselves.
Professor Shrestha was a very nice professor. I found his class to be very difficult, but he himself is super understanding and is willing to help if you ask for it. His lectures are pretty boring though, but that may have just been because we were on zoom.
average midterm grade across all sections was a 63%, impossible test horrible teacher. impossible to do well highest grade was 87%. his only response to the bad average was that he will replace midterm with final, but will penalize our grade if we replace it with final. DO NOT TAKE
Professor Shresta was, in my opinion, not that great of a professor. All he did was lecture and his lectures were sometimes unclear. The exams were harder than the practice questions.
Shrestha is a smart guy, but his lectures can be a bit dry. Granted, Intermed Macro isn't the easiest class, but Shrestha made it palatable. I enjoyed going to in person lecture every week since all of my other classes were online. It was nice to have a professor that cared about our well-being and did everything he could to help us this semester.
He was really sweet, and I'm sure online learning was difficult for all professors to overcome, but the lectures were packed with material. The quizzes and exams were difficult and structured differently than review problems, so just be ready to put in a lot of extra work to be able to do well.
Avoid him if you can. I have heard so many upperclassmen say that their friends or themselves did poorly in his class. Practice questions are NOTHING like the tests or quizzes. His slides are not helpful and because he is knowledgeable, he cannot simplify it. Nice guy, not a good professor. Barely curved exams even though class was doing 20% worse.
Great professor, explains stuff very well. ECON 303 isn't super easy, but Professor Shrestha will always help put you in a position to be successful.
Professor Shrestha is a great professor and you can tell he puts a lot of heart into what he teaches. While the material is can be difficult if you come to class and do the study guides you will do just fine. Tests are usually just like the study guide and grades fairly.
This guy is a sweetheart!!!! Listens to whatever you say and answers any questions you have, on the spot. Keeps content simple, UNLIKE OTHER ECON PROFESSORS who go into tons of minute detail. Lectures are dry but that's the nature of the course. Repeats a lot of stuff over and over to make sure you get the FEW simple things you need to know.
Professor Shrestha was great! Lectures were very clear & detailed exactly what you needed to know. Definitely work through the study guides before each test/quiz. There were 2 midterms, 3 quizzes, & 1 final and that was it. I thought the tests were pretty fair, plus he curves. I ended up with an 87 raw, which curved to an A in the final grade!
As seen above, I did terribly in this class. Professor Shrestha's lectures made me not want to get out of bed in the morning because the last thing I wanted to do was attend class. I attended office hours and received little help. If you suck at math this class is not for you! Test heavy and difficult.
As many of these reviews suggest, Prof Shrestha's class would be better in person. He is a caring and accessible prof, but his class is quite difficult. He would run out of time during virtual class to complete lecture slides and answer questions about the very challenging review problems. Tests are hard and you will need to put in a lot of time.
Professor Shrestha deserves more compliment. He is very helpful and always willing to talk if you reach out. The class score is based on three quizzes, two midterms and one final exam. The quiz is fairly straightforward and the materials are all covered in his study guides. The exams require more work but you'll do fine if you put in the work.
Terrible professor for a hard class. I reached out to him several times because I wasn't understanding the material or doing well in his class and he provided me with no help. All you're graded on are quizzes, tests, and attendance. If you don't do well on the assessments then you're gonna do poorly. Lecture heavy, practice questions don't help.
Prof. Shrestha is genuinely one of the nicest professors I've had at WM. He's always understanding of your circumstances and is willing to help you out. I've had 3 classes with him so far; each is usually math intensive, which makes it somewhat difficult, but the professor is always willing to explain difficult concepts. Highly recommend!
Great guy! Pretty good zoom lectures and fair grading. Gives great optional homework to study from/practice which is really important in econ.
For Macro Professor Shrestha gives good lectures and is fairly accessible outside of class. Your grade is pretty much determined by four tests but that's pretty standard for Macro. I would recommend.
Had him for ECON101 & 102. Read the textbook because everything he says is from it but also go to class. Hes very clear and his tests are not hard at all. The practice problems and notes let you know what youll see on the exams and theyre very straightforward; no tricks. Definitely recommend him over all others.
Intermediate Micro is a difficult course no matter who you take it with. Professor Shrestha made it way better. I have taken him for 2 semesters in a row, and in both instances, he was extremely responsive to any concerns and very available during office hours. His lectures move quickly, but he posts them online so you can rewatch them.
THE toughest course in my major, and though I struggled with the material, Professor Shrestha made himself available to me outside of class multiple times a week for extra help. He posts the class lectures online and provides so many helpful practice test questions. The exams and quizzes are largely made up of the practice questions he provides.
Lectures are alright and if you read the textbook you can get a better understanding of the material. His quizzes are easy but his exams are sneakily difficult. His exams are all multiple choice so they are easy to mess up. I would stay away.
Professor Shrestha is a smart guy and lectures are straight forward, but kind of boring. It wasn't clear to me how to do well on quizzes and exams until the end of the semester which sucked. He doesn't give tons of practice problems so use the textbook to broaden your knowledge. He's super nice and helpful in office hours!
Straightforward lectures, even though they can get a tad boring at times. He makes the material easy to understand, but his exams are unexpectedly difficult based on the practice problems he provides. He's generally pretty accessible outside of class and a nice guy, solid choice for the class.
Lectures are SO boring and it's really up to you to make sure you understand the material. Will speed through slides but he records lectures so that's helpful. Understand how to do all the practice problems and the quizzes/tests will be easier.
His lectures are insanely boring and he explained the material and answered questions in excessively convoluted ways. Exams are all multiple choice and short, so missing a few questions knocks grades down a ton. He doesn't give exams back either, so you can't see what you missed. Not the hardest class, but he made it 2x as hard as it had to be
Grade for the class is almost entirely made of 3 midterms + a final exam. Lectures are incredibly boring and unengaging. He will take a 5 minute topic and stretch it out into 40 minutes. The midterms and final were surprisingly difficult. Avoid this professor.
His lectures can be dry sometimes, but he posts lots of practice problems and reviews every question students struggled with on the homework/quizzes. He also records lectures and has a policy where he replaces your lowest midterm grade with your final exam score if it is higher. Overall, I think he is a solid choice is you have to take macro.
Shrestha is a decent professor. Your grade is made up of three tests, four quizzes, and a final. The class can be difficult, but if you study and get comfortable doing the practice problems, you'll do well. Tests were fair but he didn't give as much time to take them as I would've liked. Don't buy the textbook.
Ranjan is a pretty nice guy. Lectures were pretty bland and not engaging. For a 9 am course, I showed up, but really did all my learning in the textbook after class (don't pay for the textbook, but certainly get it). Tbh nothing in class isnt in the book. Doesn't give many practice q's. His recorded lectures have horrible audio. V conceptual class.
Prof. Shrestha clearly understands econ concepts but explains things the same way every time you ask (which doesn't help if you didn't understand the first explanation). The entire class is graded by multiple choice quizzes and tests. Definitely read the textbook and do practice qs - then go over the qs you got wrong! Ask the TA for help, not prof.
I've taken multiple classes with Prof Shrestha and he's absolutely incredible. Econ lectures are always a little dry, but Shrestha explains things succinctly and clearly. He's also an incredibly incredibly nice professor who is always available for outside help. Highly recommend.
i did not have a good experience. he was very unresponsive when I tried to ask for help and suggestions when I was struggling and emails back and forth were not quick. the tests were killer.
Professor Shrestha is a very textbook professor. All of the info in his slides comes from the textbook, and the tests come from the slides. The practice problems he posts will be your lifesaver -- do them and understand them. The tests are no harder than the practice problems. Professor Shrestha isn't the best micro prof, but he's good nonetheless.
I was not the biggest fan of him at the beginning of the semester, but he did grow on me towards the end. He is a very nice and funny guy, but his lectures were extremely boring. I went to my TA's office hours almost every time alongside his office hours and I was able to improve my grade substantially. Definitely utilize your resources.
Prof. Shrestha follows the textbook very closely, so if you do the reading, the class will be very easy. Gives practice problems for every chapter. Graded on 4 quizzes, 3 midterms, and the final exam. Lowest quiz score is dropped and final exam grade can replace lowest midterm grade. Take Econ 101 with Prof. Shrestha!
lectures were pretty dry but workload was very manageable. do the practice problems, they are very helpful in prepping for quizzes/exams. lowest quiz grade gets dropped and lowest midterm can be replaced if final exam grade is higher.
The pacing of the class was really fast and we still didn't cover all the material for the course. Takes slides from online and the problem sets are the only actual application of the theory. Not enough time for quizzes and midterms. First midterm average was 58, but he curves and doesn't tell you how much so you have no idea what grade you'll get.
Econ 303 was no joke. Early on, it wasn't uncommon to see an average in the 60s for an exam (don't let the first quiz being pretty easy fool you). His study guides did a pretty good job of preparing you for the exams, but I had to practice them a lot to perfect them. I like his lecture style: pretty bland, but teaches u directly what u need to know
Prof. Shrestha gets a bad rap for the following reasons: - His lectures are long-winded - His answers to questions are sometimes difficult to parse. However, if you know what you're getting into, Shrestha's Micro class is very good. His slides are very well made, he is accessible outside of class, and his tests are very fair.
I know Econ 303 is a hard course and taking it with Prof. Shrestha makes it even worse. All of your grades are made up of quizzes and exams. You always don't get enough time to complete the exams. The exams are very difficult but he lets you replace your lowest midterm grade with your final exam grade and your lowest quiz grade with your midterm.
Shrestha's class is lecture HEAVY, in fact it is all lectures. He reads straight from the textbook, so the chapters are unhelpful except to gain a basis before class. When asking clarifying questions outside of class, you will receive the exact same information he gave in lecture. Khan Academy became my best friend for this class.
Professor Shrestha is a good professor if you only care about your grade. It is not too hard of a class and with some studying even if you don't go to lectures you can get an A. The only issue is that his lectures are very tedious and boring.
Ranjan is a very clear professor. You'll know exactly what you need to know for assessments by doing the practice questions. The test will be an almost exact representation of these topics. Take notes and study before quizzes and exams and it's an easy A. The only thing is there's few grades and he is a boring lecturer.
Ranjan's final grade was solely based on 4 quizzes and 4 tests. No other chances to improve. Lectures are deceivingly easy, as well as boring, and do not prepare you for the difficulty level of the exams. He is also incompetent at answering questions, and just repeats what's already been said.
This class has in class assignments that total to 10% of your grade, so even though this class isn't worth showing up to, you will have to anyway. The content of the course IS the textbook. If he says something in class that isn't in the textbook, it won't show up on the test. If you are any good at math, you can pass the test.
0 Homework 0 In-Class Assignments 0 Times I showed up to class besides syllabus week and test days Take this class, but don't go to it, you'll learn more from the textbook anyway.
Great professor, enjoyed his macro class alot
No homework, all MC tests. This class can be very easy if you pay attention and do the practice problems (which you don't even have to turn in). Honestly he doesn't really teach, just reads off the slides, but it is fine.
Basically the same as his micro class. He doesn't really teach but there's no homework and all multiple choice tests. Do the practice problems they really help I promise. Ranjan is very nice and clearly cares about the subject. Pretty easy for an econ class.
Shrestha is a very nice prof and clearly wants you to get concepts down pat. The way he teaches and structures his assessments requires you to fully understand the material and reasoning in order for you do well. However, taking this class w him is overly complicated for an intro level course/prereq for many non-econ majors
Ranjan is fine as a professor, but definitely not who I would recommend. His lectures are him reading from the textbook, which makes it easy to know what is going to be on tests, but classes are boring. He's a very caring professor but his lectures were confusing and I struggled to stay engaged. If you end up taking from him, get the book!!!
I didn't enjoy Ranjan's teaching style at all. He just reads from the textbook in class, and his slides are not helpful. This class is unnecessarily difficult, and the way he phrases concepts/questions on the test makes it difficult to do well.
No matter who you take 303 with, it will be a difficult class. However, Professor Shrestha is very clear with the explanations of the material. He does curve, but the class is pretty difficult but not impossible. He is also very accessible and willing to go over the exams with you.
Lectures were hard to listen to a lot of the time. Material was not tested on. All grades came from group projects. Easy class.
303 is just a hard class but Shrestha consistently follows the textbook. The practice questions are essential, two midterms, 3 quizzes, and in-class assignments you can work with others on. Helpful outside of class but it honestly comes down to practice and knowing the formulas/steps to the equations. Time-consuming to study for exams.
Professor Shrestha is a great guy. He cares about the content and genuinely enjoys the class. The lectures cover things that are important for Econ but you're never graded on them because there is no midterm or final. The group project and individual poster presentation are the only things that count, and if you have a good group you're fine.
Did he just add a final to his ECON 100 class? The other reviews said there was no final, but I took Understanding Global Poverty, and we have a final. short essay questions, graphical analysis, math problems, etc. His lectures are dry, but he's nice. not super helpful when you ask for feedback, but I got good grades with minimal effort.
He was a great prof for macroeconomics!! He does a great job of condensing textbook material into slides for an intro class and explains everything very well and in-depth. There are quizzes that help boost your grade if you study and I have a love for econ after this class!
Ranjan is ok. I would take him over all the other prof teaching 102 but still not great. Inaccessible, repeats himself WAY too much, and an awful lecturer. Slides are NOT helpful in class or review. 3 MC exams, 4 quizes, and a final. Final replaces lowest exams so can be worth up to 50% of grade which sucks.
Shrestha's lectures are oftentimes confusing. Reading the textbook can only help to a certain extent. 4 Quizzes, 3 Midterms, 1 Final. Even if you do the practice problems and understand the topics, the tests throw trick questions and/or are worded badly. The final had topics we didn't even cover. For an intro class, it was not very easy to do well.
Fair professor who shows clears enthusiasm and passion for the subject. Accessible and friendly. Lectures can be dry but are informative. Big problem with this professor are his exams, which are incredibly difficult even with mastery of given study guides and lecture information. Studied 3x as long for this class, but was my lowest grade by far.
If you think your GPA would be cooler if it started with a 2 rather than a 3, take this class! Professor Shrestha's macroeconomic class is filled with him talking around in circles and wildly challenging tests. Your only saving grace is the tutors at the tutor zone. He doesn't seem to care if you fail and was not very helpful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I did not like ranjan at all. His lectures were him just rambling on for an hour about random stuff that didn't show up on the tests. His tests were incredibly difficult and didn't include anything from the lectures. He made me have a strong distaste for econ after loving micro. The tests included topics not discussed in class at all or in readings
Shresta was an alright professor. His lectures are very dry, but the content is easily understood through the textbook and slides so attendance isn't mandatory. He doesn't answer questions well and his tests are tough, but he's a nice guy.
Lectures are very boring, but the information you need to know is communicated. His tests are hard. What you don't understand in lecture can be supplemented by Kahn Academy or the textbook. He is a very nice and understanding professor, but the course is very average. Know the entirety of the unit before taking a test, as small concepts show up!
Professor Shrestha really cares about what he is teaching. The lectures can be dry and repetitive and he isn't always good at answering questions, but it's doable if you do more than just attend class. The tests were easy- all multiple choice. If you read the book when you're confused and get help outside of class, you'll do well. Must work hard.
his lectures can be a bit dry, but you can tell he cares about what he's teaching. the tests are all multiple choice and as long as you study and review as the semester goes by, you should do just fine.
Posts slides after each class along with problem sets. Grade is made up of 3 midterms, 3 quizzes (lowest is dropped), and the final (all MC). If you do the practice questions and understand the slides the class isn't bad
Shrestha is a very nice man, and he seems really sweet and passionate about econ...HOWEVER, his lectures can be very dry and boring, and his lectures don't always match the exam. When in lecture, he uses lots of graphs; however, he puts barely any graphs on the exams. if you choose to take this class, STAY SAFE.
Econ in general is not a very difficult class but Shrestha makes it harder. His lectures are very boring and difficult to listen to. Even when you do go and listen he teaches the surface level things and has in class exercises that are easy. Then when it comes to the the test and quizzes they are significantly more difficult.
Take this if you appreciate a boring, straightforward, easy class. His lectures are super dry and basically straight from the textbook (which you don't have to read). Practice problems are exactly like the tests. If you are even a little STEM-y then this will be baby food easy. It is incomprehensible to me that someone can find this class hard.
Prof Shrestha was very nice and very enthusiastic about teaching. There were two presentations, one was a group presentation and the other was an individual presentation. He was pretty easy on grading, and the practice exams were similar to the actual exams.
It's fine. Do the practice problems and try to pay attention in class and you will probably be okay. I hope you like lattes.
Shrestha is not a bad teacher. However, his lectures are unbearably dry. He can transform a 10-slide presentation into over an hour of lecturing, often running out of time. Plus his explanations often lack clarity. Do the readings and practice questions, show up for class and you'll do just fine. He also loves talking about Lattes.
He definitely doesn't deserve the hate he gets. He is a fine professor who can be a little bit awkward at some moments but he explains things clearly. Of all the 101s, though, he is probably the hardest simply because of 3 quizes (lowest dropped), and 3 tests and the final. Its Econ101 so its pretty simple material-wise.
Prof. Shrestha isn't the most engaging professor, but Econ 101 isn't a very entertaining subject. Offers practice exams & ungraded problem sets. Be ready to read the textbook & study before all exams. Lowkey a good freshman class to get used to the workload.
Professor Shrestha has amazing lectures that are informative, easy to understand, though, I think for a Coll 100 class it was a bit more on the rigorous side. I'd say, class is definitely intresting but, it is more on the difficult side than I think a coll 100 should be.
Professor Shrestha does every part of his job excellently. I've seen people say his lectures are boring or unengaging: that's a user error. Lectures are straightforward, he's very thorough with explanations, literally ZERO homework or requirements for the class besides doing well on quizzes/exams (all mult choice). If you're attentive, it's so easy
He doesn't deserve any of the hate he gets. His lectures aren't interesting because micro isn't interesting, it's too intro level. He clearly explains everything so you never need to read the textbook. He took attendance one time but it doesn't factor into our grade. If you know how to study you will be fine, plus all exams are multiple choice.
One of the most average classes ever. Very clear expectations for the tests, but they were a little tough and your grade rests on just tests/quizzes with no homework padding which makes getting an A tough even if you do well on tests. He loves lattes and accidental 67 jokes, but the lectures are super dry. Go to the tutor zone and you'll be fine.
Shrestha obviously knows a lot about econ, but he just sucks at teaching it. I took 2 years of econ in high school and he made everything so much harder and more complicated. Your whole grade is 3 quizzes, 3 midterms, and a final. Every assessment is multiple choice, but his teaching made it a lot harder. Take someone else for micro.
The class was pretty easy and straightforward for me! He gives practice worksheets which are super useful for the quizzes and exams. I did them multiple times and that's how I prepped for the exams etc. If you need any help I recommend going to office hours-- he is really nice! The lectures are important so show up to those!
An individual presentation, group presentation, 3 quizzes, 1 final, all very manageable. Lectures can be dry and boring, and although attendance is not mandatory, most classes he passes around an attendance sheet to sign. He is a good professor who does care about the subject as well.
