I took a class with Professor Grossman last term and he is very witty and cheeky in class which makes him very engaging, but he also had a wealth of knowledge regarding history. He is always quick to reply to emails if you're seeking help. HOWEVER, I will say that this is not an easy course if you're not willing to do your research

Awesome class! Great teacher as well. I took three of his classes ( 1114, 2231 and 1118). I loved all of them! Because although he favors some of his students ( usually the one's he has had before) , he is also really helpful and a good marker.

Oh man what an amazing professor! I wish he taught all my lectures! Never have I taken a course and had the history lesson painted so beautifully! The tests re based primarily on notes and he marks your papers easily, provided you do the research.

*sniff* This awesome prof has now retired. I just finished 2 summer courses with him (his last ones). He was fantastic, made class so enjoyable. I've never taken any history course before, and now he's made me want to continue taking more. Will miss him.

This is the best teacher I ever had in any school at any level. I took 6 courses with him at Langara. He revived my interest in school, and made it possible for me to transfer to UBC. If it wasn't for him, there's no way I would have ever become a lawyer. Thanks Mr. Grossman!

Do not take any course with him. He is a dirty joker... not sure what he says half of the time. He actually kept my essay until the next day of last course drops. so I couldnt drop his course and faild it... He killed my GPA. On average am A student. imagine how brutal he was.... DO NOT TAKE any course with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would take again

I had him for history about 10 years ago. Every class was like watching a movie, or like listening to a story.
