Tests are easy as they're exactly like the assigned homework. A very good lecturer (explains EVERYTHING) but his accent makes things a little difficult to understand. His PowerPoint Lecture notes are sooooo excellent and that helps a lot!

DO NOT SCREW AROUND WITH THE IDEA OF OTHER PROFS! For CQMS102 Djabatey is the best! He teaches in such a way that you really don't need the text to pass, though doing testbook stuff gets you the A as his tests and assignments are straight from the book. If he is teaching CQMS102 take his section!

Excellent prof, excellent notes, his notes are super easy to understand. You cannot fail this course unless you dun't try. If you do, you will easily get an A!

i recommend taking this prof for qms102. he explains the concepts really well, and his power-point notes are very helpful. stats is a difficult subject, but he teaches it in a way that makes is easy to understand... GREAT PROFESSOR! :)

Don't let his accent fool you he is a good professor. Make sure you do the assignments your selves since the test will be somewhat very similar.

Excellent teaching. He makes a difficult topic looks simple. Explained every details and he makes sure you understand the issue. His powerpoint slides are superb. He is very cordial with students but maintain strict rules of engagement.

Textbook is garbage. His slides are excellent, just study those and do the assignments. He is an amazing prof that makes stats easy to understand. Very passionate about stats, wants everyone to do well. Great at explaining things too.

He is awesome. Very intelligence. Teaches so well that statistics seems easy. Textbook is confusing but his powerpoint sildes are second to none. He is very helpful but don't expect an easy pass from him.

There is no avoiding stats but if you want to understand it as well as pass it make sure you have this prof. Best stats prof at Ryerson! His slides are amazing, book is awful,and not enough time to write the tests. Wish he would take up homework but he gives you all the tools to understand and do statistics.

Djabatey is a good prof. His test are reasonable, although there are way to many questions in the exams/tests. It's almost impossible to finish completey.

All the other good comments about him are true ! He is the best prof for this course and his slides work wonders ! Highly recommended !

I am by no means planning a career in the "statistics" business world... Just not my thing ~ but this prof. is very good. His slides are great, you will not need to buy the text book, he explains things clearly and simply so that everyone can understand. I am glad that I had him for such a torturous course.

DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK!!! You will have to buy the SPSS program. His slides are genius. If you do not do the assigned questions, you will be f*#ked! He is a great teacher, but STATS is one horrendous course. His exams are impossible to finish. Make good cheat sheets(he allows this). Good luck!

I've always sucked at math, and his exams are quite difficult. However, he really cares about his students understanding the material, and will go out of his way to make sure everyone gets it. His slides are excellent, so forget the book, but make sure you do ALL the questions he puts up. I got an A+, and its because he's a good prof. But PRACTICE.

This prof was born to teach stats. His slides are so perfectly made that you can't possibly not understand the chapter. On top of that he clarifies even further during his lectures.Best stats prof Ryerson has!!!

I dropped Stats I twice because the professors relied heavily on the text which was useless. I had Mr. Hassan and McKessock. Mr. Djabatey made me love Stats. I already asked him if he will be teaching Stats II in the winter. The ratings in this site are very accurate. If you want to pass this hard course, make sure you have this professor.

I got an A+ in the course. Do as much practice from the handbook as you can, textbook is NOT required, don't waste your money on it. Final did not cover the material he described, just trust what you learned. Cribs are useful. He has an accent, but the slides will teach you everything on their own. Other then that, enjoy!

TAKE THIS PROF...I took this course 1st year with Clare Chua and got a D...I finally got around to retaking it and I'm getting an A with Raphael. His tests are RIGHT FROM the review book he made..the book's exclusive for his class and you'll not only learn but if you even minimally try you'll do well..don't buy the text his lecture slides are great

He is amazing in teaching. Being a teacher myself, he makes you believe that teaching is an art not a science. Clarity, Organization and Passion.

Great Prof, you don't need a textbook, his slides and review book are all you need!Print off the slides before attending class, it's really helpful, and be sure to take the calculator to class, and learn how to use it! For exams, do ALL the questions in the Review Book he prepared, some of his questions come right out of it! I got an A! :D

Very good prof! His slides are very simple, clear and easy to understand. The textbook is not needed, just use his review/solutions book, as long as you learn all those problems, you'll be fine for both the final & midterm. TAKE HIM!!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. It's true, he isn't great with extra help outside of class but he explains so clearly in class anyway. and BUY HIS BOOK. The questions are very similar to the ones you'll see on the tests.

I honestly really like his teaching style. He explains everything in such a logical manner. Even if you don;t review his notes ahead of time, you can still follow. Plus the tests and exam are exactly as the homework questions from his workbook.

Thiss guy is proper for de mandem .This is a hood rating: I say he will do you solid if you try to put in some work. He pushes up da marks for those borer line niggz in the end of it all. BUT IN THE END OF THE DAY WHEN ITS ALL SAID AND DONE HEHEEE.

very nice man! uses his own book you buy from the store with tons of examples to practice from..some tests/exam questions were directly out of that same book..only problem i had with him was that he spoke very softly and has a very thick accent, but other wise a really good class

Easily one of the best profs. teaching at Ryerson. His lectures are crystal clear, and all tests/exams are very easy. Just go through his slides to get the basic concept, and practice as much as possible from his white review book, as all exam questions are of similar type. Very easy A.

Clear lectures and extremely helpful. Buy the question or exercise book it is the best prep for the exams. You don't need the text his Power Points are so clear. Best prof. for stat's!

This class is easy regardless of who your prof is since it's crib sheets galore. That being said, he is a great prof. You don't even need the textbook because his slides are so detailed and thorough. BUT, he doesn't answer his damn emails.

Dr. Djabatey is brilliant (yeah I said it). He also explains the concepts very well. Buy the excercise book he compiled and you're good to go.

Best prof ever. Yes, hes late all the time, but he teaches really well and his slides are very helpful. The first midterm I didn't study much and got a B, then for my next midterm and final, I got 100%. So just study and do the practice questions he provides and you'll be fine

Amazing prof. Everything he taught made sense. Go to class, and just listen and write notes. Midterm and finals were easy, just re-read the slides and practice examples. Also go through the review questions and you will do well.

Math was never my thing, and I haven't taken it since grade 11. Now that I'm in my third year of law and stats is a recommended course, I had no choice but to take math. Raphael Djabatey had to be the best math teacher I've ever had. He explains things the best way possible and makes sure that everyone understands the material. Don't be scared !

So I technically didn't have Raphael but my prof used all of his material (powerpoints, projects, etc) and his material was super easy to grasp because he laid it out really nicely and concisely. There are lengthy quizzes every week but they weren't unbearable. I never did well in math in HS but with this prof, you'll do just fine!

I'm terrible at math and I was dreading my quant class since first year. Not sure what it is about him and the way he teaches but I'm suddenly understanding these "symbols and numbers" for what they truly mean. Thank you for all you do sir! Lets break the status quo!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! I failed data in high school was horrified to take stats but he can make the dumbest person understand statistics. He's truly one of those profs that you won't forget because he explains things so clearly and simply. Definitely recommend taking his course or any other course he teaches. 10/10

Totally recommend. The explains each concept very well and responds quickly to your emails. His lectures and assignments were very helpful for you to understand . And for someone who isn't good at math, he was able to teach well even though it was all online.

He is a good professor. However, in order to be successful in his stats course, it is recommend to take it in spring or summer when you can only focus on that course as it requires a lot of practice on math questions, quizzes and tests.
