Probably one of the best lecturers I've ever been taught by. If you show up, take good notes, and do the practice question sets (that are identical to her tests) then you'll pass this class easily. But if you skip class and miss her lectures, there's no way to pass the tests as there is no textbook.

JUST TO MAKE IT SHORT, professor Rowther is one of the best professor I have ever had! Attend classes to get 5 points extra credit and 4 extra point of a very easy assignment. No homework but only 5 tests throughout the semester!!! YOU MUST TAKE HER because not only your GPA will increase but also you will learn a lot at the same time!!

Took ECO 202 16wks and it was pretty easy. Just show up to her amazing lectures and pay attention. Shes a genuine professor and will answer any questions you will have. You will have total of 6 tests and she will drop the lowest grade. Also she had extra credit. Show up, pay attention, and its an easy A.

Professor Rowther is one of the best professors I have ever had. she is extremely knowledgeable about econ. She teaches you exactly what you need to know for the exams and is extremely straightforward with what will be on the exam, gives extra credit opportunities.

Mrs. Rowther is an excellent and very knowledgeable professor. She makes Econ interesting but it is definitely one of those classes where you have to follow along and take notes each class. She uses powerpoint and writes on the board a lot too. Attendance is important and don't miss an exam because it's not easy to make it up.

I attended class only 3 times in the semester. There is attendance but I just signed the paper and left to have lunch. The exams are easy, just have to look at the powerpoint slides she posts on blackboard the day before the exam. Highly recommend the professor. Gives extra credit for attending class but there was no need for the extra credit.

Prof. Rowther is one of the best professors I've had at nova. She is great at giving lectures, hilarious, and very knowledgeable in the subject. Professor Rashida is one of the best professors for Economics. I took her summer 6 weeks class. It was easy. she covers everything in the class. If you take notes and study then you will get an easy A. Just follow her class and 30/45 minutes study before every exam is enough. Provide extra credit also. Don't miss take her.

I thought econ would be math upon math but it wasnt so bad. There are 6 tests - she drops the lowest grade and gives EC which can bump your grade by a whole letter! The tests arent so bad - all MC. Attendance is mandatory if you want EC. She teaches pretty good but you have to revise the notes on your own to do well on the test. Is a good choice!

There is no homework. You are graded by sIx tests, each have around 20 - 25 questions, and she will drop your lowest score. There is extra credit. Show up to class and take notes. She goes over practice questions as a class and these questions are very close to what is on the tests.

Took for 6-week summer class and it was quite easy for me. I don't understand how people found the test difficult at all but each to their own I guess. Professor Rowther is one of the best professors that I have had during my time at NOVA. Her lectures are easy to understand, she breaks the content down into small chunks and checks for your understanding after going over each topic. She also puts out study guides before each test so that you know what topics will be covered. Overall, very easy A.

As the course transitioned to remote learning, Professor Rowther transitioned to become one of the most effective remote zoom instructor. In intend to take summer class with her.. glad she is in schedule... remote or face to face, she is one of the best. Take her .. you will not regret!

If you want to get an A and an easy class, TAKE HER. Her remote learning is as good as the in-person class. The class consists of 5 tests, she drops the lowest one. Most importantly, she gives you 10 extra points which means if you have 80, you will get 90. Her lectures are great as well, she repeats over and over until it gets stuck in your head.

She was super nice but lectures were extremely heavy. They were 3 hours long w/ maybe a 15 min break. You took the tests during class time & 98% of the time you had to come to class after the test. Lockdown w/o camera for tests & we dont need our camera on during zoom. None of her content is on quizlet cuz she creates her own which was annoying.

Great Professor overall, very respectable. Teaches in a style geared to make you succeed, that being said you must be willing to put in the effort. You will get out exactly what you put into this course. There are no shortcuts around you will not be able to finesse a good final grade. You need to make an effort if you want a good grade, but she makes the class super easy. Her notes are the best and easy to read. There were five tests that had their pros and cons. Everything you have to do is study, but she always makes sure you understand. Take her if you want to learn something!

Solid teacher. Gives 15 points extra credit and no homework. The only things you receive grades on are attendance and six tests so I wouldn't recommend this class to someone with test anxiety.

Professor Rowther makes economics straight forwards and easy. In-person classes really help to retain the lectures and do well on tests. Up to 15 extra credit points that are simple to get and I didn't need to take the final because of them.

Taking her class right now and it ended a whole week early, which is great. Easy to understand and explained the concepts nicely + plus using analogies. The material itself isn't hard.

I would walk on glass for Prof. Rowther. She somehow manages to explain math concepts in a way that penetrates my feeble little dyslexic and dyscalculic brain. Professor Rashida wasn't originally supposed to be my professor for my 7 week course since my original professor couldn't teach the class anymore BUT OMG that was a blessing in disguise.
