Very hard grader with no clear rubric or guidelines. For many of the assignments, the feedback given was oftentimes not helpful and short for such a low grade. When I compared my assignment with others, the marking scheme did not match up with the grade at all. Would not recommend at all, choose another professor.

HORRIBLE! If I could give here a negative rating I would. For one, she cannot teach for the love of god. She also doesn't tell us the due dates for the workshops on the day she release it. Her marking scheme is off and it's dependent on her mood so it doesn't make sense. She's a hard grader without a clear guideline. Never take her classes!

Worst prof ever. She'll nitpick on the assignments until she can find one minor error then proceed to deduct 30% off. No clear rubic and slow marker so we can't even improve on the next assignment. She'll leave comments such as "nice try" but won't write actual useful comments. Not a fair marker. Stay away from her.

It seemed she lacked extensive experience in computer science (not the professonal level, I doubt if she knows how to copy paste with keyboard). Classmates need to help each other as she is not helping. She is the most tough grader i met in Seneca, she commented "great work," but the scores ranged from 85 to 90 without clear justification.

Very Tough Grader. She has poor education skill but high expectation, you will recieve a very upset grade after many hours study. My average grade is A-A+, I spend many time to study this class but only get B+ at the end, it is not fair. Your hard working means nothing in her class. Do not take her class if you have other choice!

Prof Rashmi is so aweful. She's so bad at teaching and grading. Although I get an A from her class but I still have nothing for what I study. The tests, well, her tests are just writing what you memorize and so tough. Don't pick her. If you have no choice. Wait for the next semester for another chance

Uses MS Paint during lectures to try to make up for terrible English, only her drawing skills are terrible too. Diagrams look like they're drawn by a grade-schooler. Prof started the year in another country despite it being an IN PERSON class, avoided telling why. Avoids answering questions whenever possible, does not seem computer-literate.

Never had problems in my program until I took SFT, but several weeks in still have no idea what's going on and trying to understand pre-recorded videos of lectures the prof is playing which have illegible MS Paint doodle diagrams is a nightmare. If you have her may as well drop the course, doing a hundred IPC/OOP workshops is better than taking it.

Beware, the good ratings here are FAKE. Look at all the thumbs down. Here's an honest review: She cannot communicate well and does not give feedback. She doesn't respond to emails and she even said "I get so many emails from students I may have missed it". Umm it's your job to keep up with them holy moly (and you call yourself a professional).

This professor uses Paint to teach, illegible and difficult to understand. Never grades anything until during class time by skimming through the work, and just puts an average mark without any explaination. Most rubrics only say need/missing more tests. She also always switches to online class. Most unprofessional teacher.

she is the worst...she will get mad at you for asking questions and then she cuts your mark randomly without any explanation! She made most of our classes online and she announced it 1-2 hours before the class! her English is not that good...It is unbelievable that she uses "paint" to teach! her marks are random and based on her feelings about you.

Cannot teach, does not provide good feedback, does not answer emails, and blames students for her inadequacy. Not online savvy at all. She frequently cancels classes and isn't really mentally present.

she sends announcements unclearly. you have to reread them several times to understand what she means!If you ask her for an explanation she will make fun of you! She keeps taking most of the classes online and announces it late at night before the class! you never get your expected mark! Just gives you whatever she likes without any clarification

Awful. Instructions are always unclear and confusing. Gives unreasonable marks. I've read a rating that says she makes fun of you when you ask for explanation/instruction that you need clarification and it's true. Uses paint in writing diagrams during online lecture, which are very hard to understand.

Avoid at all cost. Does not explain lectures or assignments properly. Literally uses paint tool to try to explain you something that is on the powerpoint slide lectures. Need to add that she literally just reads off the power point lecture but doesnt explain the ppt properly. The announcements are also unclear.

CPR: Cancelled many classes night before. Unprofessional quizzes with incorrect questions. Treats weekly quizzes like fort knox, takes manual attendance, grades activities harshly, awful communication on final group work. Completely forgot to assign a project from the rubric and announced we had a surprise presentation the night before final class.

Quizzes are heavy and deduct marks for no reason. You will get at best 80. 60s and 70s are common for group projects. Cancels the class the night before and yet asking too much for workshops and projects. Subject is not easy so better to look for easy grader not this one.

All good reviews written by HERSELF. Do not be fooled. She doesn't show up in person, ignores students and questions, and TESTS ARE HEAVY. You have to write 6-7 pages of blank paper. Hard work is not worth it since SHE WILL DEDUCT MARKS UNREASONABLY! Avoid at all costs unless you want to be miserable.

I have never seen someone use MS Paint to write notes with a mouse. She is not even intelligent enough to use the box tool to draw diagrams, just straight mouse strokes... you can imagine what that will look like. Do not allow someone like this to teach you...

unclear grading criteria, she doesn't understand what she teaches, she is just a placeholder teacher, she marks things based on an a dumb rubric that she was given, she takes for ever to mark, gives terrible feedback, isn't fluent in English and accent that is hard to understand. Avoid at all costs!!!!

She teaches computer principles basics and she doesn't know it by herself. She even wasn't able to open vs code and instead draw code in Paint! I was shocked seeing that. During group project she argued with us about built in C function, trying to prove it works in another way and at the end she added "I anyway will not give anyone maximum grade"

Bro, she's such a headache. She divided us into groups during study week and expects us to complete milestone one within that time, even though we didn't even know who our group members were initially. She assigned us to groups randomly, so I won't even know who I'm working with until finals come. NEVER RECOMMEND HER!!! WORST PROFESSOR FOR SFT!!!

I bet she wrote all the good reviews. This teacher is bad. The grades for the workshops and milestones are posted late. So you keep making the same mistake again and losing marks. She can be harsh replying to students' questions and doesn't promote a positive learning environment. No support, and the course is tough! Horrible. Highly not recommend.

She made an easy class very hard. She also cancels the class or announces its online sometimes less than 5 MINUTES before the class starts. Deducts marks unreasonably. Doesn't read emails at all and doesn't mark either. Avoid her at all costs unless you want to be miserable

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!!! It is just not a good experience. Good reviews are faked by her. She spends more time faking reviews over caring about her students' success. Her teaching is never helpful and often causes confusion. Her accent is very heavy. She is a tough grader. She misses in person classes. Gives no feedback. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I am begging everyone to avoid this teacher. She is writing all of the good reviews herself. Look at the rating distribution and read some of the good reviews. She is not even good at hiding it. Please do not take her classes, I promise it will be a horrible experience.

Horrific. Doesn't know anything outside the curriculum, it's like she's been given a script and just repeats it out to the class. Assignments are due two days after lecture, sometimes she forgets to put them out and they're assigned a day before. Accent is awful. Cancels class 10 minutes before. Marks aren't given out until weeks later. DON'T TAKE!

I don't know anyone who likes her. The good reviews are written by her. She always leaves early, doesn't explain, doesn't help, has negative attitude. One of the worst, avoid at all costs! Be wise who you choose for group project - it's hard and there won't be help from teacher.

I've never met a teacher so unwilling to help their students until I took this class. Never responds to emails in a timely manner, online lectures are difficult to follow, doesn't explain her marking criteria or expectations for assignments even if you ask for clarification, and marks way too critically. Please reconsider taking this teacher.
