I took her online class. Prof. was very helpful and answers to e-mail promptly. she makes the learning process quite enjoyable. I would definately take a class with this instructor again.

She is completely amazing (I have her at UNF)! I wish she taught Intro into Lit. The work load is managable. Shes really funny, and young... so she knows and understands our generation. And, she is not a reader, so you will read almost nothing... TAKE THIS CLASS if you wanna learn and have an enjoyable time!

TAKE THIS PROF! Seriously we all have to take an english at least make it worth it. She does everything she can to help you and you will learn not only something but everythin! Classes are never dull. Assignments are fair and she grades fair... She is by no means a tough teacher.

I took her class online and I had a lot of fun. She makes us watch documentaries and movies and we write about them. It's a very interesting class and she is very helpful and very fast in returning e-mails. If you need to take English online, take her class.

This is the best class I have taken this year so far. This professor is so much fun. She grades fair and her work is simple. If you do what is asked of you, you will make an easy "A"

Who ever gives this professor anything less than a 5 obviously is not computer literate, self diciplined or motivated. It doesn't take a genius to navigate a Sirius course through Blackboard. Prof. Francis cares about her students writing capabilities and is always avail. to answer questions and help when needed. The course is designed very well.

TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! This teacher is honest,helpful,and fun.She answers your emails within 30mins sometimes less then that. She teaches you how to think outside the BOX, she is a very good teacher. I should know I took her ENC1101 & ENC1102, also if you have never used SL(second life) you are missing out on some gooooood stuff!!! TAKE HER CLASS

By far the most helpful teacher in my entire student life. I must have had at least 30 questions for this online class and she answered every single one of them as though they were urgent questions..if you sick at english like i do... take her shes amazing

12 week online class. She is very excited about the class and is very friendly and approachable. She will help you with whatever you need. There is a lot of work, but it's really not that difficult. There are 2 proctored essays where you have to go to campus but all else is online. Highly recommend her class!

Prof Francis is AMAZING! She's very approachable, honest, and funny. She relates to her students in any way that she can, and would bend over backwards to help you and make you feel more at ease within the class. She gives positive feedback as well as any negative feedback so you don't feel like you worked for nothing. SHE IS THE BEST!

Professor Francis is the most amazing English instructor I have ever had. I was so uneasy about taking English classes and I couldn't be happier with my choice to take her class. It is an easy class, not because there is no work but because she is extremely helpful and very accessible. If you're looking for an online class take Prof. Francis!

What an AMAZING professor. I took her online class, and I swear even if I emailed a question in the middle of the night she responded almost instantly. Very virtually involved class, which can be annoying for some but it was fun. Not the best class if you're looking for minimal work, but a great experience and a great professor.

Best Teacher ever!!! She uses second life as a teaching method that allows you to interact with each other since this was an online class it was really fun. I will be taking her again for LIT 2000, I highly recommend, just do all your work and Essays a must and you will get an "A"

I absolutely adore this Professor. English definitely isn't the hardest, but it definitely isn't the easiest subject. I took the course online and she was there for me day and night. She even let us take our final written exam ONLINE. She's super computer savvy and uses Facebook as well. Take her if not only you want to learn but pass. SHES AWESOME

English has never been my favorite subject but Prof. Francis made me enjoy it. I'm looking forward to my next English class.

Professor Francis was by far my favorite teacher of all time. I love lit anyway but she is the first teacher in a long time that truly cared about me. She was wonderful and very flexible. Definitely take the Second Life course, great teaching tool.I highly recommend her! She makes up for any poor teachers taken in the past. Awesome Teacher! :)

All i can say is i love her as as a teacher and in real person. she is real. Take her class, you wouldn't mind failing the class to be in her class again. She is wonderful.

Prof. Rawlslyn is a wonderful professor, and a wonder person. She is very helpful. And crystal clear of her expectations. I enjoyed talking her class, and also kinda sad it is over. I would recommend her p, hands down.

She is the nicest teacher ever! Super funny and has pretty easy assignments that are interesting. Had a lot of cellphone and laptop interaction so really easy access to everything! Also, her final was showing the class our favorite game as a kid... Only downside was that KaBOOM! was so boring. Sucked to do those reading assignments!

Prof. Francis is great! You will have a lot of writing to do, but she makes it fun and interesting. She is quick to give feedback and students can contact her outside of school. (such as facebook) Take her if you can, you will enjoy her class. (I also took SLS with her)

She was awesome! You only get to take quizzes once but she offers extra credit if you feel like you need it. Quizzes are all open book and you have an hour. By the end of class out of 1000 points I had 1008. Would take her for everything I could. Papers were all easy and no group projects.

I took her course 12wk online, she allowed work to be re-submitted for a higher grade, replied to all emails super fast, showed interest in her students and offered extra credit! Put in the effort and you will make an A! Best professor ever! Take her class, no way you will regret it.

Wonderful and very easy class. You only get one attempt at quizzes but she gives extra credit so it didn't matter. I made a 103 A+ in this class.

Professor Francis is an amazing teacher, she is super helpful and really wants the best for her students. The way she uses technology makes the class eye opening too. There's 4 research papers and a couple of quizzes. Very easy! Take her you wont regret it!

Prof. Francis was awesome. Several times I was late on a project due to things I couldn't control and she let it slide and graded me fairly. She really geared he course to help us realize what we were getting into and how to get the most out of it. I think I would take any course she was teaching she was so awesome.

I took her for ENC1101 and absolutely loved her. She is THE BEST english teacher you will find at FSCJ. Very hi-tech, helpful, funny, nice and down to earth. She treats her students with respect and doesn't baby them. All her assignments are interesting. Take her class, you will not have a better time with any other teacher!!

I took Professor Francis for ENC1101 online and I loved it. The interaction, quick responses to email and clear directions were fantastic. The work load is fair for a six week course, she displays integrity and unbiased views in her grading (follows a rubric), always makes sure you can reach her and allows you to earn extra credit!

Professor Francis is absolutely a wonderful teacher. She is very caring, and always more encouragement, but still lets you know what your doing wrong. She is also very organized, and really fast at replying to emails. Always very helpful. People saying she was hard, really must not have cared about the class, or paid any attention. MUST TAKE!!

She is by far my favorite professor at FSCJ south. So much so that I took her for ENC1101 and LIT200. She is very understanding and willing to work with you outside of class. English is a lot of writing but she really makes it interesting and gives you options and different views for your papers. Take her, you will not regret it.

She is my favorite professor. She goes well beyond what she needs to so she can help her students. If you want to get a good foundation for writing I would take her class. She will work with you, just make sure to ask for help and go to her office if need be. I also took her online LIT2000 class as well (A). Just put in effort and do the work.

Professor Francis has been an awesome professor for my first semester in the communications program. There are a lot of assignments, but they are fun and interesting, and most of all she does care about how you are doing and will work with you to get your grade up! Hands-down I would recommend this professor for any class!

I loved her class! There was a lot of assignments, but the criteria was clear. She is a great teacher and gives great feedback. Also gives you the opportunity to fix your papers. All of the material she chose for assignments was very interesting. Do your work and actually try to do a good job and you will make an A.

She's awesome! Her course content is to the point and it's extremely hard not to know what to do in her class. I love her feed back not a basic great job blah blah. I took her online course so participation is a must to pass. Tests weekly, only thing I really didn't like was all the papers were due in the last three weeks so was a bit stressful.

Everytime i thought i had a dumb question she answered it without getting annoyed and was so sweet about it! She loves her students and she loves teaching TAKE HER. I actually enjoyed this class. It was easy and she was awesome! She's been my favorite professor so far. I plan on taking her English course too. Absolutely take her class! I had to buy a few books though one of which was a reading book that you had to read each week and write assignments on. Easy though.

She was super nice and very clear and helpful. She didn't assign a lot, but there was some work to be done. You definitely need your book because all the tests and quizzes are straight out of the book.

Amazing professor. Always there for you and willing to help. Doesn't just teach she enjoys her job. She wants you to learn and become a better writer but you do have to put forth the effort. A few short essays, a quiz or two, db, extra credit. Gives people chances they really don't deserve. TAKE HER CLASS!

Amazing teacher, I wish I could take her again. She made every assignment so you could have fun doing it. Lots of extra credit opportunities. No final. I absolutely love this prof.!! I've taken her twice, for both Enc1101 and Lit2000. I enjoyed her both times although more in Lit. She genuinely CARES about the well being of her students! She will do what she can to work with you and help you as far as class goes. Her teaching is outside of the box and clear! TAKE HER! If I could I'd take her again

Professor Francis has been the highlight of my college experience so far. Gives interesting books to read and topics to write on. Fun lectures that require class participation. Gives extra credit opportunities and will let you resubmit each paper once with edits. She is really invested in the success of her students. Take her!

I took her class for an 8 week online summer course. Expect at least 6 hours of work each week from reading chapters and completing the journal entries. No crazy tests or pop quizzes. A little effort all is needed to pass this class with an A. The class was informative and will be very useful ! I highly recommend taking her!

Professor Francis was great. The topic of this class was science fiction. Please don't let that deter you from taking this class (it varies). She is really funny and willing to work with you if you need the help. She breaks down the assignments so you know exactly what is expected of you. She an easy grader. Professor Francis is very helpful and quick to respond to emails. It did not feel like I was taking an online class. There were live group chats that we could participate in for extra credit and the assignments and papers wer assigned in a way that really made me a better writer. I am ready to write any type of paper now in college!

Take the time to do the homework. There's a two page paper at the end of the course that counts as the final. Not a tough grader. Easy to talk to!

Mrs. Francis was one of the first professors I ever took in college and she made me feel so comfortable and way less nervous, she really is there to help you succeed as much as she can. She has a rule that you can only miss one class without it affecting your grade and she assigns a lot of off campus projects like conferences and volunteer work.

The nicest and most caring professor I've had. She leaves specific feedback on every. single. assignment. Her class is fun, and the material is very interesting (poetry, holocaust, greek theatr). Five discussions, two papers, and some short writing assignments. The poetry module was by far my favorite. Excellent class, and I learned a lot from it.

Prof Francis is incredible. All feedback is helpful and if you do the work you'll do fine. She is tons of fun in person (we dressed up for Halloween and had a separate picnic day). You will learn alot in her class through discussion rather than lecturing, and he works hard to include everyone. If you can: TAKE HER CLASS!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Prof. Francis! This class was fun and the grading criteria was clear. No proctored tests, but there are 3 tests total. I enjoyed her teaching style so much, that I've already enrolled in another one of her classes next semester. She's understanding and flexible when necessary.

Great! One paper, 4 discussions, two easy reading quizzes, 3 literature reflections, and lots of extra credit. Truly, cares and gives feedback the same day as email sent. Let's you make up work if have documented excuse. There's a final exam but it's an easy online essay. Highly recommend. You won't regret it.

This professor is amazing. I am not one that likes to write but she guides you in your research papers. Only have two to do and most of it is your choice. Music playlist or hiking and documentary or graphic novel. She also gives great feedback and doesn't degrade your work, just helps you perfect it.

Profesor Rawlslyn was amazing. She really cares and there is no way to fail unless you just do not care. She gives you plenty of time to do work, accepts late work and even offers a ton of easy extra credit. She gives awesome feedback.

Literally the best teacher ever. Super easy class and she gives you a chance to succeed. Multiple attempts are given at almost every assignment. Shes very understand and answers emails quickly. Very few quizzes and tests. 1 paper for the whole class and it doubles as the final exam.

There is nothing bad to say. I am really glad I had a professor who really cared about her students more than the passing percentage. You show up and pass. It's literally just that easy. She understands that you have more classes, so she has very minimal homework. I wish other professors would be more like her.

Even though I really hate writing papers this was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken to date. This is literally my favorite professor hands down and I am in fact taking another class of hers as an elective because she's that awesome. I havent met a professor after that actually genuinely cares about you and your success. alot of ex credit

In a day and age where you have family work and things to attend this class will help you manage all that. She is the definition of caring and someone who pushes you to your greatness. I took this professor for ENC1102 and she was amazing!!! Very easy assignments and she was always available outside of work. Best professor ever!

Professor Francis is a great teacher. You can get up to three tries in order to get a higher grade. I recommend all students to take this class.

Do the work and get a A, she gives feedback on all your assignments, & uses MindTap which isnt difficult at all.

I wouldn't say Dr. Francis is easy, but she is very clear with her instruction and expectation. Follow her instructions, complete your work, and you will do well. She gives a reasonable amount of work, grades very quickly, gives good feedback and is timely and responsive to questions. What more could you ask for?

Professor Francis was the best professor I have taken! She actually cares about you and the success of her students. As long as you participate and do the work, you should pass just fine. She is a wonderful teacher and never boring. She makes the class a lot of fun.

I love Professor Francis so much! When I had to drop everything and take care of my mom, she really worked with me and let me turn things in as I could. She is amazing. I took her for two classes and got A's in both. I would recommend her to anyone.

professor Francis is simply amazing! she cares about her students so much. If you not taking her class I don't know what you doing with your life. Follow instructions, do the work you will pass the class with an A. If you don't understand something just ask her she will make sure you understand.

Took 12 week online, there were 6 long discussions and if you didn't do the full amount of sentences she knocked points (aka, if 6-9, she wants 9). Mindtap is annoying but easy, just time consuming, there were mini assignments there every week, but she grades easier on that. The readings are assigned but trust me you won't need them. Good class.

AMAZING and I cant say more good things about her and the teaching style I am beyond satisfied I wish all profs were like her. Will take again :)

Shes a true gem, responds on time and gives wonderful feedback. She saw my potential as a writer and gave me guidance to write for school paper. Assignment and test are all easy because she prepares you for them. Discussion are interesting and I got my confidence back in my writing . Take her you wont be sorry !

There is not one bad thing I could say about Professor Francis, she is absolutely amazing and does a wonderful job teaching. Most assignments were essays (length depends) and a few quizzes. Nothing was hard to complete, just time-consuming. If you need help, just ask she is more than willing to help. The class finished three weeks early. take her!!

Funny, flexible and effective. Online classes were optional to attend, one class was her lectures, the other was Q&A where she made her self available for the class timeframe. Discussions are lengthy, but really capture what you have learned throughout the course. Overall a really good professor. Offers tons of extra credit!

Professor Francis genuinely has a passion to help her students succeed and want to continue to succeed throughout their college experience. Attending college in my 40's made me a little nervous, she made my transition back feel very natural.

Very clear syllabus, grading rubric, and calendar of activities. She wants you to succeed and gives you all the tools to do so. Do the work on time and she will give you the opportunity to submit again for a higher grade. Overall easy online 7-week course. EC also :)

I wish I had more than 350 characters to talk about how amazing Professor Francis is. I took her Topics in Humanities Science Fiction class for credit and I am SO glad I did. She is super sweet, responsive, informative, and concise. The discussions and assignments immerse you and you find yourself learning something new with each topic.

Everyone has that teacher that inspires them to keep going and that is what you'll get from her. Prof Francis is wonderful, caring, and compassionate. If your lucky enough to get her class you wont regret it.

I took this in a 12 week format, being that it was a short semester there was an assignment every week, but they were all your opinion on a different piece of SciFi material to a question she posed for the assignment. I was worried about taking her, and I am GLAD I DID! Take her class and do the work and you will get an A.

Excellent professor. Any time I get an opportunity to take her, I DO! Her Humanities course is based off of Science Fiction. I learned so much from this course, it feels so surreal. I have new respect for Sci-Fi material and what goes into it. Assignments are lengthy, but worthwhile, no doubt! 12 week course, flew by, excellent material.

This class was awesome! She is so understanding and responds to email VERY quickly. She cares so much about her students. If you like Science Fiction you will definitely love this class. No exams don't need any book just discussions(about 3 or 4) and short writing assignments. I would DEFINITELY take her again!

Although i had her as an online class, i feel like it was easy to talk to her and she gave amazing in depth instruction on class. i took her class as 7 week and it still was very easy. i ended her class with a 105% due to extra credit and easy assignments! i also loved this course and found it interesting! Prof. Francis invited all of her students to attend lectures even if our class didn't have a lecture. Barley tried and got an A. I took my IDS class with her as well super easy. great starter professor, especially for D.E. kids.

Class is super easy. All you have to do is participate and get work done. Professor Francis really cares about her students and is always there to help. No required lectures but she invites you if you want to join. Makes class really fun & the readings and videos are actually interesting. Nothing negative about her. I recommend her to anyone.

Amazing instructor, but be ready to work, especially if you're taking the hybrid course! Hybrid course are self paced and require time and patience.

Being a nontraditional college student over the age of 50, I could not say anything short of Professor Francis's honest instruction. Her instructions are clear in her syllabus and assignments due, and she is very reachable if you have questions or concerns. Highly highly recommended and definitely do take her as you're in for a treat.

Honestly this is such a great teacher! While the assignments are lengthy, the work is easy. She also gives you plenty of time to complete assignments, so there is really no excuse to have them done. Then she also offers extra credit. I wish she were my teacher for every class!

Prof. Francis gives great feedback on discussion posts and grades quickly. There is a lot of MindTap work that counts for a good chunk of the grade, but it actually is helpful. She has you analyze an image advertisement, a movie critique, and a PBS Frontline documentary. If you do the work on time you will get an A.

Professor Francis is the best Professor I've ever had so far, and I took this class online! She provided video explanations weekly that clearly explained her expectations. She gives detailed and thoughtful feedback. Instead of just assigning long wordy essays, she has a style of her own and it was a breath of fresh air. Would 100% take her again.

Prof Francis is lovely. The class could not have been better, I learned a lot and honed my grammatical skills. Prof Francis assigns the correct amount of work for you to learn material very well but DOES NOT assign excessive busy work. On all writing assignments you get to choose your topic so you will never be uninterested in the topic you chose.

This class was bogus and should be waived; if you meet a satisfactory GPA. I had already taken two semesters prior and got an A in both. I pretty much goofed my way through this class and got an A. If you love to write and can respond to any prompt; you are golden. This professor gives great feedback on your assignments. Just do the homework.

I enjoy her class. Her class was very easy. She very helpful and you will easily get a good grade in her class. She responds to emails and text messages fast. I wish I had her for my English class.

This is my first course. I'm taking the seven week version, and I'm done with everything but the final discussion in week three. Whole course is open, and the book is a great read for incoming students, and for thought processing in general. Quick grades and always has feedback.

I took professor Francis for ENC1102, the 7 week course. This course had a lot of material in a short amount of time, but she has a clear, clean cut syllabus and outline. She gives really great feedback on your writing skills and ability. If you do your work and turn it in on time you'll pass. Take her, you won't regret it!

Used an online website called Mindtap to complete a lot of the work. She gave out extra credit for the last two weeks of the course. Overall I recommend taking her class.

I took her 7-week class, the syllabus was really intimidating but the class was super easy. There're a couple of written assignments but no full essays and no final. The online assignments are on MindTap, but it's mainly busy work and you could complete all of them within a day if you wanted to. There're also extra credit opportunities if needed.

She's amazing, quick and fair grader. Gives good feedback, offers extra credit. Our end-of-term project was an analysis of a graphic novel of our choice. Many of which are in the library. I would not hesitate to take her again. Not tough on grammatical errors.

On my list of top professors. Hybrid class with virtual lectures. We did not meet every week. Most of the work was through MindTap. Syllabus with due dates of all work was very clear. You could work ahead if you wished and complete the class early. Class attendance was not mandatory but she gave extra credit during class participation exercises.

This professor truly cares about her job and it shows. I felt her presence was so deeply involved in my class and the crazy part is, it was all online. This professor has assignments that are genuinely interesting to complete.

I took Professor Francis this past semester for my second English (Writing for Texts) class. I took the course 100% online and would take another course with her again in a heartbeat. She's kind, gives excellent instruction for you to do well, assignments are easy if you follow the directions, and the coursework isn't heavy at all. Take her!

This professor is amazing! Her work is self paced with 2 separate deadlines. Includes 2 major dissuasion post, but if you follow the instructions you'll get an easy grade. Answers all emails and is willing to let you retake an assignment if you scored a bad grade. If you need to take 1102, this is the professor !

This is the second course I have taken with Prof. Francis. She really cares about your success. Many of these online courses have professors that are rarely around, but this is not one of them. She was an amazing professor and her class was extremely easy. I only wrote one essay in her class and it was for the final. Almost the whole class is mindtap assignments and like three other things. You get multiple attempts on the mindtap assignment and they are worth the most. She is very caring and will help you with anything. Take her class.
