He's a great instructor who cares a lot about his students and their success, not only in his class but in their future. He has a lot to teach his students and feels that no question is too stupid. He's kind of intimidating in the beginning but dont get scared it gets much better. He's great.

HE is one professor that learns your name and never forgets it! He treats you with respect and has a good time with his classes. He can get strick when needed but i have not see that side of him. His class was the best and if I can take him agina I will in a heart beat. the He feels that no question is too stupid to ask and supprts each and every student!

The speeches are in groups so it's really not too bad. The guy is always late to class, which can be irritating, but he's a cool guy. He's pretty intimidating at first, but I think it's just for show. He's always willing to help students, which is awesome. I would take him again.

Awesome guy. He's bold and right to the point. His speech is often too fast, but loud enough even for the people in the back of the room to hear well.

I put off taking speech until the very end because I had no interest in taking the class. Mr. Puchot is an excellent professor. I learned alot from him and now feel more confident when it comes to public speaking. He is inspiring and does everything he can to help you become more comfortable speaking in public. This was quite an interesting class. It provides a sort of comical relief to speech.

Mr. Puchot is by far my favorite teacher. He really cares about his students and it shows. It is not to often a student can say they actually "look forward to going to class" but that is the case with this class. I am now confident about giving a speech and could not have done it without his help. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.

Very informative and used lots of excellent real life examples to help us "get" what he was trying to say. His teaching style is tough but very fair and lots of laughs were shared along the way. Found the handouts more helpful than the book. I would definately take his classes again! Didn't get the reason for hostile Q&A's or handshake.

One of my few classes that I enjoyed attending. He makes the class intersting and it easy to see that he enjoys teaching. My favorite part of the class had to be Q&A because of the intensity. But with the diary/journal is this class want my cup of tea I haven't wrote in a "journal" since i seen the cartoon DOUG.

You know those teachers you see in the movies and you say "wow, I wish I had a teacher like that"??? Well, that's Mr. Puchot. He pushes his students to do their best, but is very supportive at the same time. This was quite possibly the best class i've ever taken. It's too bad there aren't more teachers out there like him...

Great class. As a high school student taking a college class I was skeptical about everything at first but he is a great professor and in the 7 weeks of the class I have learned a great deal about public speaking.

This course was fantastic! I felt both challenged and nurtured. The prof was funny, friendly, and FINE.

I do not know how any one could NOT LOVE this guy. His class is VERY informative and he is so FUNNY. I took his class in the summer and I LOVED his style and presence.

pretty easy class cool guy makes you feel comfortable in class. he will work with you if needed i felt like this semester we ran out of time like there was more to cover but the semester ended. the presentation were pretty simple and if your class is good then he will make the class easier for you.he will extend deadlines and give take home exams.

Always helped whenever asked for it. hardly uses text book accept for certain tests. did speeches, nothing else. always group but opportunity for singular presentations. said he was going to teach techniques-he didnt, just threw us up there to get over our fears. but he made it fun and exciting. i would take him again.

i have to say before i started this class i was not sure on how i would like this class. ive always hated public speaking. i would get to nevous, and forget what i was saying after takin him i feel more confidenr as a speaker and hes such a great teacher. if u have any problems or concerns hes right there to help u. not many profesors do that

Mp.Puchot is an excellent professor!!!!! I was very nervous when interviewing for ANY job and now I am confident and assured of my skills. Thank you, Mr.Puchot I wish you were staying.

All I can say is take this instructor if you can. He will not let you off easy but you will learn a tremoundous amount and walk away a stronger and more confident person and speaker. If I had the opportunity to have him as an instructor again I would in a heart beat.

You will leave Professor Puchot's class a better speaker and with a preparedness for the real world. This class was not easy, but I'm glad I took it and I would take recommend him without a doubt. He cares about his students and has alot to offer. In the end, you'll be glad you took him. You will NEVER be bored in his class.

This was my greatest educational experience.The professor was harsh but fair and fun. I have never been challenged like this in ANY class.BCC is VERY fortunate to have him teaching there. I would love to take another class with him in the future.

This guy is wonderful. He really cares about you and will take out the time to help you in any of your classes not just Speech. He tutored me in both Spanish and Math and I got an A in Spanish, a B in Math. I wish he was staying. I know the entire class would LOVE for him to stay.

This was for business communications through Tarleton State in Texas. This was a challenging class, but Mr Puchot kept it interesting. I learned a lot in this class and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I would recommended Mr Puchot to anyone wanting to learn something and be challenged at the same time.

I can not see how anyone would not enjoy having Prof.Puchot as a teacher.I had Prof.Puchot in the Spring of 2007 at BCC for a Public Speaking class and he is wonderful. You will work hard but the class is a LOT OF FUN and you will become a much better speaker.I think that other students across the country agree is wicked.

I had to take this class as part of my major, but I'm so glad to have taken it ,parts have been hard because of my nature but Professor Puchot is a good teacher I know I will come away from this class with a better understanding of how to speak and how to understand and interact in all types of relationships and circumstances.

I had him in the Fall at the New Bedford Campus and he was great. He made us laugh All the time and made me overcome my fear of Public Speaking. I want to take him for another class this Summer.

I am currently at Bridgewater State and I had Mr.Puchot for two classes last year. I really miss him because he was always there to help any student who needed help.I wish he taught here so that I could take him for some of my upper division courses in communication.He made class fun and was very charming.

I thought he was a great professor he was extremely helpful and he helped me eget over my fear of public speaker. dont let him intimidate you at first he's a great guy and always willing to help his students.

Decent teacher. Knows his stuff. Grading...he favors those who can't actually speak, and is harder on those who do well. The harder you try, the harder he grades. HATE the group work, as he grades the entire group, not individually. If you want a class that will help you a little, take him.

This class is extremely intense, I'm not gonna lie. A lot of people dropped the first week. But if you stick around it is really worth it. He is very demanding but it works out for your benefit. I think the class is very much worth taking. Just be prepared to do alot of work and be critiqued on it.

I had Mr.Puchot for Public Speaking in the Spring and became a much better speaker then I ever dreamed.He almost made me cry several times but he only wanted me to improve.He is demanding and will force you to become a much better student.That is why I am so excited about taking another course with him in the Fall.

I just found out that Mr.Puchot is not at BCC anymore and I really wish he would have stayed. I wanted to take more classes from him and wanted to join the Forensics and Debate Team.He always made me laugh and made me feel confident.BCC will not be the same.

I graduated last year from BCC and recieved an out of state scholarship due to my interaction with Professor.Puchot who was constantly DEMANDING us to perform beyond our own expectations.He was direct with his instructions but always encouraging.He helped pave the way for me to continue my education and I miss him.

I graduated from URI in 2007 and had him for several comm classes (11 and 60)and they were the most challenging courses I had taken within my educational background. He has always kept in touch with me and has written letters of rec. for both college and work.He is the type of educator that makes a difference and I wish that he lived closer.
