This was one of the best math instructors I have ever had. He has an outstanding knowledge of math and you can tell he enjoys eaching it. I feel if a lot more teacher had the enthusiasm that he does about this subject: we as students would learn and want to learn a lot more.

THE BEST MATH TEACHER....EVER!

THIS PROFESSOR IS EXTREMELY DEDICATED TO HIS STUDENTS SUCCESS. IF A PERSON IS STRUGGLING, HE WILL HELP IN ANY WAY AND URGES STUDENTS TO NOT GIVE UP. HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER KNOWN. IF A STUDENT IS FORTUNATE TO HAVE MR. ARP AS AN INSTRUCTOR, THEY WILL DEFINITELY SUCCEED. IT IS AN HONOR TO HAVE HIM AS AN INSTRUCTOR.

Professor Arp is THE BEST math teacher I have ever had! He loves his work and it's apparent! If all of my math instructors had been as good at teaching, I may have become a math teacher myself. His class is the only class of the five I have that still has most of its students and that's a testament to his teaching skills. LOVE THIS MAN!

Hard class took it 2 times. Decided to take it with this professor and he was great! i wish i took it wit him the 1st time. do your hw and quiz and extra credit ask questions and youll pass

The additional documents for clarification on work was extremely valuable, as well as his constant willingness to go over homework problems that we(students) may have struggled with. The time he took to work out concepts and to supply additional problems with the answers allowed studying to be more effective.

Mr. Arp is a very fun and knowledgable instructor. He tries very hard to help us understand the material and welcomes any questions we may have. I didn't find the text or DVD's to be very helpful with homework problems. I would recommend Mr. Arp to anyone that is struggling with math.

Mr. Arp is an incredibly helpful teacher and his obvious love for the subject makes for a great classroom environment. He spends time each class working through problems that students had trouble with and is always available before and after classes for those who need additional help. Content is presented clearly and exceptionally explained.

He is a very good teacher. Explains things well. Works with you if you need extra help. I would take more classes from him if he taught the ones I need.

Although I really dislike Math...Mr. Arp did a great job at teaching..and also made the class fun.... He reviewed everything until it was understood and showed that he thoroughly enjoys what he does.. I highly recommend him!!! :)

Enjoyed the class

I struggled with this class and finding a way to connect with Mr. Arp. Half the way through the semester, I figured him out and then I understood most of the lectures. However when it came down to the final, It was nothing like what was on the exam. He was very helpful, however, and always willing to help and go over concepts.

Mr. Arp is hands down the best math teacher at CSI. He is so helpful and wants to see each student succeed.

Mr. Arp is on top of it. I recommend anyone to take his class. Very helpful.

I really liked him but struggled with the class and some methods he taught. But he also came early and stayed late to help and that was awesome! Quick to answer emails and really wanted us to succeed. I also have a hard time with math and the grade wasn't due to his failures as a teacher.

He's a good teacher. Very helpful and will clarify any questions you may have. I'm going to take his next class if I can.

I feel that the CSI has a great teacher on their hands. He is always enthusiastic when he teaches, he loves teaching it and he makes it where you can understand the math. I have had the pleasure of taking him twice because after the first time I had to have him for a teacher again. I always recommend him to other students. He's the best!!

He is amazing and always willing to listen! He recognizes when you miss class and makes sure you are ok.

The class was given an online program named ALEKS when it was supposed to be a traditional teaching course. Even though every student was at different points in the program Mr Arp took the time to go to each student and see where their topics and help accordingly. I was so impressed with him I signed up for the next semester with him.

Its been a pleasure having Mr. Arp for a teacher for three semesters. You have helped me tremendously and I couldn't have come so far without your help. I appreciate all the things you have taught me and how you go above and beyond to help and teach us. Thank you!

Ray is a great teacher, he genuinely loves what he is teaching. He is always more than willing to help you, but he does move a little fast. But all together he was wonderful and I would take a class from him again if I had to. The best part was as long as you are showing your work you will get partial credit.

This was the best Math teacher he is so understanding and caring, I missed most of the classes because I was really sick and was in and out of the hospital, but I kept up with the online assignments. He still gave me a good grade. He was awesome I highly recommend him.

He knows math really well, gives lots of homework so you get the practice. I don't do well on timed tests. I would take from him again.

He has been a great teacher for the last year I really appreciate the time he puts into his lectures and and spending one-on-one time with us to help understand the material. I struggle with math really bad and he explains it in a way that anybody could understand.

Lectures were awesome and he was very helpful with going back through certain questions and answering the question thoroughly. Hes super funny but I tend to be one of the only few people that actually laugh at them.

Has a solid grasp on the subject and tries to get the class to open up in order to know what they need. Has a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Hardest thing I've ever done because math is my toughest subject. Mr. Arp is a very thorough instructor who cares about his students. He is willing to come in early or stay late to help. He moves through material quickly and gives great shortcuts. Lots of homework for practice. Love that his tests are on paper.

He is really good at what he does he just teaches really fast so you have to be able to focus and ask questions!

Professor Arp is by far the greatest professor Ive ever had. He really wants you to succeed and will stay after class to help. He makes learning math fun! He is a very understanding teacher and knows that his class isnt the only class you are taking, so he has homework due on Saturdays instead of during the week which helps a lot!

I thought Arp was a really great teacher, and I really didn't do him any respect by skipping class all the time. I have a very hard time with math, my brain just isn't wired that way, but the way he explains and solves problems really helped me understand. He was also pretty funny and entertaining while teaching.

I really enjoyed this class. I needed to start in an easy math class because it had been 12+ years since I had graduated high school. This class was a great place to start and relearn how to do algebra. Don't be afraid to ask questions! He will explain if you do. My advice is show up to class, and you will pass!

Only take his class if you are going to actually show up! If you want to stay home take a different professor with an online corse! Mr. Arp loves teaching and his Arp method saves so much time! Well worth coming to campus, face to face, twice a week! Recommend taking 043 and 143 with him! Best math teacher I have ever had!

Overall fantastic, actually understands math and teaches in a way even my thick head understood.

Very fair professor. He was extremely helpful and willing to help you outside of class if you needed it. He explained things thoroughly and in different ways if needed. Definitely would recommend taking his class.

I really enjoyed this class even though I am not very good at math. Professor Arp always showed us ways to complete problems faster, which made doing the homework a lot less daunting.

He was, in my opinion, a fantastic teacher, and I would definitely take him again. I would strongly advise other students to enroll in his class because it was a very pleasant learning environment and he did a great job of making the difficulties easy for the students to understand.
