Professor Raymond is very experienced in investment. I like the "Investment game" where he allowed us to invest in stocks on a virtual platform. He taught us how to read the market, and key rates (interest rate, inflation rate, exchange rate, etc) that will affect our decision. Very informative and helpful course. Highly recommended.

Professor Chen teaches everything from the market and explains perfectly how to use financial indices to analyze the market as well as specific stocks.The professor has an engaging approach to the class, always starting each class with a review of the financial trends and events of the previous week.

He is one of my favorite professors at UCW. I took his 625 and 627, which are very useful financial courses. He doesn't like to follow the textbook and always brings on-time news and real cases during the lecture. His classes allow students to learn newer and more practical things rather than the old and boring theories in textbooks.

If you want to get the basic set of knowledge of investment, take this course!

Professor Chen was exceptional. He is a fair grader, while my overall grade was not an A, it was on the basis of not following the instructions he provided. Raymond has been working in the finance industry for long. His campus lectures and sharing of the capital market stories are extremely valuable for us to get to know not only finance and investment knowledge but beyond course itself. I learnt lots more than expected. Take Raymond's course soon enough after registration starts. No more space after.

Professor Chen is very few at UCW understanding Capital markets in Canada and US. I took his two courses FNCE623 and 625 Investment analysis. Regret UCW does not open more courses for such a great prof. Nor willing to keep his teaching more investment course sections desperately needed students waiting to get his class.

I am extremely glad to have registered for my professor who also taught me FNCE623. No doubt he was recommended by my fellow students who took his Investment class before, just one class really helped me understand what we were expected to learn from him.
