Fair tests. Lectures are extremely clear and he doesn't go too fast. A lot of relevant examples and he's very helpful in person. He's seriously the best math prof you'll ever get.
i didn't do too well, cuz i dint practice hard enough. he is an amazing prof...knows half his students by name, very approachable and his lectures are great! you have to work hard though, not cuz he's hard but the material is. he's awesome..fair tests!
amazing
Amazing. Explained everything beautifully, his tests were extremely fair. Although, the exam was a quite harder than the tests, so I wasn't really prepated for that. Material is hard, but he does his best. You'll do well if u do the work consistently.
Amazing professor. Knows most students by name. Very approachable. Lectures are organized and clear. Good use of examples. Tests and exams are fair. Very enthusiastic about the topic and his enthusiasm is contagius.
I did not see the enthusiasm. He talks in the third person too much
not helpful
I really like the way he teaches, and also he is a very nice professor. If u study and understand his note, I can sure that u will end up with a good mark.
The skinny man says "BAM!" Love his sound effects!!! I don't like math tho....
great prof...very humble and won't make you feel stupid when you go ask him a question...always is available for his students..exams and assignments are hard, but fair if you actually study..one of the nicest prof's
one of the best profs i've ever had
Totally Awesome prof! undoubtedly one of my best profs ever. Made calc fun! =)
so cool. best professor ever. him and cleveland of course. made it fun, made us understand the stuff.... i owe him alot. thanks prof!!! =)
Awesome awesome prof.

great prof.extremely approachable;has good notes on blackboard and goes through most problems slowly.Exams are fair except for the final. If you go over his notes and ask questions you will do fine also u have to like the course he teaches so far he is the only prof @UTSC math that writes ontheboards
AWESOME (Y)..the best prof. for math...the prof i had first semester sucked big time...i lost interest in calc..but then the next semester was really interstin cuz of this AMAZIN Prof....THANX MR. GRINNELL.
He talks about himself too much.
NO DOUBT, DR. GRINNELL IS THE BEST PROF I WILL EVER HAVE COME ACROSS IN UNIVERSITY!!! He is one of the few profs who will go any measure to make sure you understand the concepts thoroughly. Now I looove Calc! He definitely has made the course fun and interesting. Thanks Ray!
i think he is a very good professor, and good looking too, a nice mature gentlement, his notes are so neat, almost like a woman's writting. but sometimes he is cold when we talk to him after class. but overall, he is a very good teacher, really know how to teach
good teacher, teaches good, gives hard and long test, talks like a robot.
KILLER EXAM. omg. but a good prof.
great teacher! lectures are good but tests are always so hard and long. exam was a killer!
great teacher, good lectures but tests were always hard and long! exam was a killer! not an easy prof
one of the best profs at UTSC...made calc relly interesting...mata36 was more challenging but i enjoyed it more than mata30....his exams are pretty fair if you are up to date with his assignments and lecture notes...i just loved calculus when he was the professor!!
great prof! but the exams are brutal...
a math prof can't get any more clear! he knows what he wants and gets what he wants. those who understand his requirements, LOVE HIM! simply a great mind in the perfect subject!
Best prof ever. He is clear, precise. He explains stuffs really well.
very nice prof, really bad exams... they're evil... brutal! but he's awesome otherwise and really teaches the material well.
this course was very hard, because he made it somehow never managed to get appointment with him..not a good prof exam midterms very hard
I cannot begin to say how amazing Grinnell is. He is very helpful if you go ask for help. Very clear in class and his examples are helpful. He has this way to just understand students and it's great. =D His tests are difficult, but if you do the practice and such, you'll be fine. He's everything you want in a professor and more. ^^
best prof, but he should teach MATA37
such a good prof. probably one of the best math profs u of t has

coolest person on earth!! He gives you so much help. Best prof ever!!!
He's cool
Great guy and awesome prof! Very nice and great at interacting with the students and helping you out when you need it. However, exams are pretty tough so keep up with everything!
simply AMAZING...the best prof at UTSC i have come across so far...explains the material beautifully...very patient and approachable...the material is itself challenging, but he makes it so interesting...expects his students to really KNOW the stuff...it really helps if you make appointments just to go over them...it's been a pleasure!
An Amazing professor who's able to make math fun and interesting. His classes are quite entertaining and he's really easy to comprehend. He's not a hard prof. though he does like to challenge his students with one or two extremely difficult questions on his tests & finals. Work hard in his class and you'll be amazed at the marks you can achieve.
Grinnell is the BEST prof, you will EVER have. His lectures are so funny, and you actually learn something.
I've taken MATA31 and MATC01 with Ray and all I've got to say is that he's the BEST. His lectures are clear and he actually does his job compared to other profs. His assignments and tests are both fair and helpfull. If you see a course with his name on it .. TAKE IT WHEN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
Great Prof. You will learn something from him.
Very clear, helpful, and friendly. Refreshing for a math prof. Should be the department head. Best. Prof. Ever.
beats butcher's bottom
Had him as a TA. He was enthusiastic and helpful. I wish he could have been my calculus prof as well. I missed out on Groups and Symmetry too :(
=( I don't have him for my next semester.. He is the best math prof! Everything was clarified, and he's funny too =) unlike others >< (ex. my next semester's one!) I will really miss him..
BEST BEST PROF EVER...I think he is the most interesting+helpful prof in the world...totally turned me from a math-class-skipper to a math-lover...LOL...exams...finals are hard...midterms are ok
Math was never an easy subject but Prof. Grinnell breaks it down and teaches it in a way that makes sure you'd understand. Awesome professor.
i think he is the best!!!! he is hard...but i loooved going to his class!!! he makes you love math...he puts alott of effort in his lectures..but his exams are a bit hard!!!i guess he expects the same from his students...n make sure to book appointments with him early...he is hardd to catch!!! ohhh and he is soo good looking tooo :))
I find it very helpful to review his notes and lectures after each class. His notes are clear and consistent. He does teach a lot of stuff in class. He is a good public speaker and does make calculus one of your favorite subjects at university! But do work hard on his courses. His exams are fair, but never easy.
Ecellent!!
Amazing and clearly spoken prof. Although, his exams and midterms are killer. Throws in some outta this world questions.
Grinnell is methodical and very clear in his illustrations of the subject matter. He explains things in such a way that you follow exactly how he comes to each conclusion. It is a pleasure to be taught by him.
I just think he is the best professor i have ever come across.
He is the best prof. a first year student can ever have. He made the fun and no one wants to skip any of his lectures. But his exams are killer, midterms are hard and final you are dead!! so hard and tricky you have to no the concepts inside-out to do well in the exams. Knowing the book and doing all the assignments only going to help a little.
Great lecturer. Completing the homework is mandatory for a passing grade. Pretty much impossible to get an A, unless you understand all of the topics THOROUGHLY in the course.
-A great professor; lectures are interesting and he covers material thoroughly, but watch out! He is HARD and his exams are challenging, but if you do all of the assignments, you should be fine.
Has a good teaching style and speaks with clarity. Don't get fooled b/c final/midterm are tough as hell. Dropped MATA33 after the mditerm. You have to know ur concepts really well and make sure to practice and do all the assignments. Also go to him for extra help...you'll show him u care about ur mark. This is not an easy course so don't slack off.
This was a hard course. Grinnel makes sure he challenges his students to the maximum, but in the end its to their benefit. I also think he made the course very interesting for students and was very helpful when approached with questions. As for the lectures, read the chapter in the book prior to class to get the most out of it.
He is extremely clear. He knows what he is doing, willing to help students. Tests are slightly challenging but not impossible to do. Not enough past papers though.
Lecture are pretty good, clear, however sometimes there maybe some little points that are unclear. Exams are much pretty harder than any quizzes or assignments. Overall good prof, teaches with heart.
Great lecturer. Explains concepts in detail and is very methodical. Helps students who seek help. Very hard exams.
Absolutely the best prof ever. Makes calculus seem comprehensible and even fun at times. Very thorough, patient, and actually cares about students. The final was an absolute killer, though.
Great prof, makes everything clear for you.
Quite easily the single, best professor I've had in my entire university career. It takes an exceptionally skilled person to simplify a subject such as Calculus to a level that Professor Grinell does. I'm thoroughly convinced he could teach integration to preschoolers if he wasn't so busy being as awesome as he is. More Grinell please!
I am not a fan of calculus, but Grinnell makes everything clear and is helpful.
Absolutely the best prof ever as far as math is concerned! Makes lectures super clear and is super approachable. Too bad he is not teaching other management courses as many students (me) will miss his lectures!
HES THE BEST
midterms and exams were hard but he's still the best prof in my first year b/c he really teaches with heart! always prepared for class, detailed and clear ideas, and really cares for students! advice: NEVER SKIP any lectures and assignments, take good lecture notes, read the textbook before go to class, take advantages of office hours
I'm a huge fan
I believe that he is the best prof. :)
Excellent teaching skills, extremely helpful, extremely nice and sadistic tests/exams
should post the answer of the final exam
Very good professor!!! Just need to practice the skills infinite times to get a good grade!!
I didn't do very well in his class but he was very helpful and is by far my favorite prof
Though I failed his course once, I have no negative things to say about Professor Grinnell. I honestly think he's the clearest and most explicit professor I've ever had. Be sure to attend tutorials for the weekly quizzes because they add up! Also, his tests are incredibly hard, the key is practice and timing. He knows he's a genius, because he is.
Compare to all my profs in first year he was by far the best one. He helped me transition between high school math to university math. He is always there to help and answer questions, take advantage of those help sessions especially during midterm and final time. This is a course where the effort you put in will show on in your grade, so work hard.
Its almost like he wants to see us do bad. I worked my ass off to get barely ok marks. But honesty, he means well. Hes a meany in class but so nice one on one. And I know I'm the person who asks stupid questions, he answered and went through ever single question, and made sure I understood it before he moved onto the next student in line waiting
he's really good and he knows what he's doing, you get that vibe from the first lecture. But his course is hard especially if you don't put in extra work. You would be lucky to have him in MATA32
Best prof I've had so far. Very clear, very helpful, and provides you with all you need to pass the course. His exams are hard though and you need to put in the effort to do well in his class.
Great prof, many people hate math but he genuinely tries to get you through it and understand. Bi weekly quizzes were fair and midterm and exam are a little bit harder but if you study hard you should get a B.
His lectures are really interesting and if you have studied the lesson before class, it gets easier. Make sure you do at least 4/5 past papers because he follows a very clear pattern in all of them. Dont be shy in asking him for help, hes really very sweet
He is helpful in office hours if you need help. However, he teaches definitions, theorems, and proofs. The whole course is mostly calculaion based and 1 page of proofs on the quizzes, assignments, midterm and final. The assignments are hard and quizzes are easy. It's biweekly. I stopped going as I never understood what was going on. Follow the book
Very good at math and knows his basics very well.
GOOD PROFESSOR!
He's a great lecturer but also a very tough grader. If your looking for the easy mark, he's not the prof for you. His tests are difficult but not unfair, in general if you put the effort in you should do well.
Raymond Grinnell is a great professor. He provides great notes on the material and is a great lecturer. He is also great during office hours. However, the course is very exam heavy. His exams are very hard and don't provide answers for final exams. If you want to succeed in the final exams, you really got to know the material in the course.
Excellent professor, sometimes make jokes in class. Explain concepts very clearly. If you are a math person. Prof Grinnell will be the best for you!
His lecture is really good
Lectures were good, quizzes were good and midterm was good too. However, he would always post homework solutions wayy too late or not post them at all and the final exam was a horror show!!! Super tough final exams and unreliable homework solutions made the course a lot harder than it needed to be. Wudnt reccomend.
He can teach well, that is no doubt. However, I wish he posted solutions for some of the assignments and final exam past papers. His exams are really hard and unfortunately he doesn't do bellcurve.
Excellent teacher, but gave out a tough final exam. Tough course and you really need to study
quizzes are OK as they're made by TAs but his tests are unnecessarily hard
Like pretty much all the comments say here, hes a real gem in his field. His lectures were extremely enjoyable! Finding a math prof like him is next to impossible. Dont be afraid to speak to him. Hes very kind. Exams were tough but if you work hard you will do well.
Very clear, knowledgeable professor. But his exams will not reflect your true knowledge of the course. They are unnecessarily difficult and unfair. Took A33 the next semester with Czimek, put in the same amount of studying time in, and got a mid 70(A32 mark was a low 50). But hey I would definitely recommend if you're willing to sacrifice your GPA.
His lecture is funny and worth to listen and take the notes. His exam is almost like the past exam. Do the past exam and know every single question in the past exam, you will get good mark
Tests are unnecessarily difficult.
Made me actually enjoy math, something I'll always respect. If you attend all of the lectures and listen closely, you should be fine. The tests are extremely difficult so study hard.
His exams are way too hard for a first-year course. You can tell he is very passionate about math, but you need to do a lot of extra work to get at least a 70 in his class. His exam does not reflect what you know because it was way too complicated. Take this course when he is not teaching it because it will definitely drop your GPA.
great professor
he's very passionate about math and makes lectures fairly entertaining. However his tests/exams usually do not reflect what he taught and are miles harder than content covered in lecs/tuts. He also had some poor management when classes shifted online (posting updates on the course/exam a lot later than other profs)
Here's the thing about professor Grinnell's course. He designs it to make you solve problems and think, not to apply simple principles and rules of calculus. You need to know how to do something in and out, and conceptually, to actually be able to do well on exams. If you do all the assigned work and attend every lecture, you will get an A.
Prof Grinnell knows his stuff but the shift to online classes made us end on a sour note. As of posting this review I still havent received my final grade. The final exam was written 20 days prior to this review. He really took his time during this online period and he wouldnt respond to emails and he made promises that he couldnt keep.
so i took mata32 winter 2020, and the final marks came out almost a month after -- after a lot of emails he had ignored and students going to the cms department. I am taking mata33 in summer 2020 and it's been a week since summer school started, and there is no curtesy e-mail or anything up. He teaches well but his exams are tough af!
Professor Grinnell is a great at teaching difficult concepts and making them easier to understand. His exams are hard since you really need to understand the concepts taught in this course and know how to apply them in many different cases.
Professor Grinnell's lectures pretty much show what he will be tested on the exams, but you still need to work hard on bi-weekly quizzes and assigned questions. He is also very willing to help you during his office hour and after classes.
His humorous style of teaching really makes the lecture better either by "let's get down to business" or "have a better day". Lecture materials are heavy, and make sure you do all the assignments and past papers. Quizzes made by TAs are some difficult, some easy. Reply my emails mostofthetime, but other students aren't. Email the TA tho. Good Luck!
Even watching them as a recording, Raymond Grinnell's lectures are non-robotic, clever, witty and a good time overall.
AMAZING PROFESSOR! His lectures are amazing, not boring and he is enthusiastic! Quizzes and exams can be difficult but they are not impossible!
Raymond Grinnell is a great professor, explains concepts really clearly and midterms and finals are doable and reasonable.
He is a really great professor and explains concepts very clearly. If you work hard, it is easy to do well in this class.
He explain things well in lectures, and his tests are at a reasonable level of difficulty. The only thing is that he is lazy--it takes several weeks for a quiz mark to come out, and he cancelled his office hours because of this online situation.
He is arguably the best prof I've had. Lectures are very well thought out and extremely carefully crafted so that you never have to write and listen at the same time. Really loves math and you can see his passion while he teaches. His exams can be tough. He likes to leave one challenging question that not everyone will get.
He's a great prof in terms of teaching. He makes the content super easy to understand and the occasional dad jokes he tells makes calc so much better. However, his quizzes and exams ARE DIFFICULT and the format of the assessments makes them super challenging to do well in.
He is enthusiastic about what he teaches but he didn't care at all about the students esp during these trying times for online classes. No response by email, no office hours, no tutorials, no solutions for the assignments. You were left on your own to learn CALC 2. The tests and exams were hard. He just told us to finish Taylor series ourselves.
He really is a nice guy and his lectures are enjoyable. His quizzes are reasonable but the midterm was absolute hell, studied for a week and guessed every single question on the midterm
Overall a good professor and a great guy. If you work hard for it, you will get a great mark. Do as many practices on textbooks and past tests as possible, that really helps a lot. However, some TAs are tough, be cautious.
He is an excellent professor, but tests are hard.
His exams and finals are BRUTAL. He takes forever to release grades.
Absolutely sucks, avoid at all costs, midterm average was 46% AFTER giving a 10% boost to every student. 56% of the class didn't even pass the midterm and he still refuses to curve. Midterm is absolute insanity.
He is very lazy, during his lecture, he just copy everything in the textbook. Actually, you should focus on the assignment he posts on Quercus. His quizzes aren't hard because you can directly use the formula, but his tests are quite tricky, you should combine multiple theories. As long as you understand everything in the textbook, you should get A
Posted the final exam information sheet a day before the final exam. We were allowed calculators on the midterm and expected the final to be the same but the day before the final, he tells us calculators are not allowed. He also posted the final exam document detailing what would be covered, what we could bring, etc a day before the final.
Avoid if possible. He never replies to email, held no office hours until the last moment right before the final, never releases any information or anything about exams until the last second. Midterm average was 46% after a 10% curve and final is straight-up worth 50%. Not worth it, avoid.
Half of his lectures are just reading the textbook, but the rest is about his interesting experiences. His quizzes are easy but the exams are tough because it requires you to apply multiple theorems to solve the questions. Pay huge attention to the applications of the theorems, you won't do very badly on his exams.
Absolutely hate this man. Midterm average was around 40% without the 10% bonus he gave. 56% of the class failed the midterm. Mind you, you need 35 on the final to pass the course
He is nice to have a conversation with and his lectures are interesting, though they are like baby food compared to what will come in practice. He refuses to respond to emails. We took the final on April 14, it is may 10 and we didn't get it back. He is inconsiderate of students. He refuses to curve even when his class average is in the 50s.
Professor Raymond is a nice professor and very easy to get in touch with and his lecture is clear to understand. But be aware of the midterm and final. Those may be quite difficult than you expected. Besides, sometimes he may not reply the email and just post the exam requirement before 1 day before the exam. So be a nice reminder of him.
Unnecessarily challenging course outline compared to equivalents at other campuses. Midterm and final are tough to prepare for, especially with a full course load of tough courses. In-person lectures were disappointing in the sense that they did not go through much material so lots of self-teaching. Arguably hardest first-year course in phys. sci.
No point in coming to the lectures just study the book cover to cover, 1 test worth 10% in the first week,2 midterms 20% each final was worth 50%. Final was rough plus worth the most. Tutorials were really helpful more than the lectures as well.
Can be sort of disorganized and tardy regarding deadlines, posting syllabus and lectures online. Midterms were of medium difficulty, whereas the final was BRUTAL. Very heavy with assignment questions. Other than that, I liked his teaching style, explained concepts pretty well and overall, he's a pretty chill prof.
The credit is composed by test
He overall seems like a nice guy, super interested in mathematics but at the same time he is satan. He posts important information super late, will never reply to your emails and all of the course is based on tests. His exams are the terrible, don't take any class by him if you don't need to, course average was a D.
Online makes impossible
Prof Grinnell's lecture is clear and his handwriting is beautiful. After changing to two term tests, it is important for yourselves to follow his lectures every week and do not think it is useless to attend the tutorial. If not, term tests and final will give you a lesson.
Clear lecture, fair course works and exams.
A challenging course. However when professor Grinnell using his handwriting and the process of solving questions, everything is clear. Exam is difficult.
the tests is so hard!!!!!!!!!
GOAT. But simply repeating the questions from the textbook during the lecture make it difficult for making choices during the exam.
Professor Raymond Grinnell is nice to talk to, but his lectures have nothing to do with tests. I attended all of his classes, and none were helpful. The assigned h.w questions are a bit better, with some correlation to actual tests. I would not recommend, and suggest you go over previous exams for understanding if you have to take his class.
All that matters for a professor is the ability to teach clearly. Professor Ray not only teaches the concept, but also the meaning and reasons behind the concept, after which he goes back to summarize the key takeaways. This is very rare to see among professors. Be sure to pay full attention in class. His exams are very tasty.
Great lectures. A joy to attend. Make sure to do lots of past exams and you will be fine.
Great speaker, engages audience in lectures. Pacing of learning is perfect. Tremendously difficult exams. Best calc teacher I've ever had.
A great Prof! Probably the only person who made me feel like I knew what I was doing in my classes. If you took calculus in high school this course should be a piece of cake, a lot of the content here was actually easier than my AP Calc class in hs.
He knows what he is doing but he is really tough.
Tough exams for both midterms and final
When it comes to this dudes midterms, you will lose so much brain cells to a point your brain gets fried. His final was practically impossible to do well in even if you did the assignments, attended all lectures, and read the textbook. As a life sci student, this was the worse class I've ever taken (and terribly regret taking it instead of MATA35).
Raymond Grinell is an excellent math professor. He is able to explain concepts in MATA32 very clearly. His in-class examples help cement the topics and serve as good practice for possible exam questions. His exams can be hard but still fair.
I am extremely disappointed with the teaching approach of this professor. Releasing the exam scope just one day before the final exam gives us very little time to prepare, which is undeniably unfair. To make matters worse, the professor covered new material after the course had ended, making it difficult for us to determine which topics to focus on
Honestly one of the worst experiences at Uoft. This prof was really bad and made the course based on tests. The course average was a D and did not curve anything! He Made us study so much for a final that was extremely hard and released the information about the final 2 days before it. What a joke of a class!
Best prof ever. He is so so so good at explaining the concepts. If you attend all his lectures and do the textbook questions then a good grade is guaranteed. He is so good I wish he was my prof for every course
Oops I meant to give him a 5-star. but yeah, best math prof along with Michael Scott Cavers
the exam was much different than what he tough in the lecture, the lecture only give us some easy examples, but in the exam kinda we have to learn everything by ourselves.
Took this course in the summer 2023. Dropped it later. The prof was boring, his way of teaching was confusing and the students in the class have attitude problems, introverted and anti-social to everyone. Avoid all.
Just good overall. Attend his lecture and get good grades.
Prof Grinnell's lecture was so helpful to understand hard concepts of math. His lec was also interesting and I could see his passion in teaching students. Best prof I ever met!
Raymond was the best math professor I've had. He gave us an easy exam with material we all learned during the course, as we were the first 34 students. DON'T RELY ON AP OR IB HS KNOWLEDGE! To do well on the mid-term, review 5-10 midterms and make a "unique questions bank" because they probably will be on the test,
He is very enthusiastic and is clearly passionate about calculus and teaching. Sometimes, he talks a lot before finally getting to the point, but his lectures are generally interesting and he also makes concepts easy to understand. The midterm was super easy but the final was super hard. Very accessible and very quick at replying to emails.
He challenges students too much I feel in his assessments. I don't think enough time is taken to go through some concepts because he goes on tangents about some concepts which wastes lecture time.
I actually love Grinnell. He's such a good teacher and really cares about student understanding and making you feel comfortable asking questions. These are such important attributes in a math prof. Yeah his exams are hard and you really got to study, but it's calculus after all. Recommend going to all lectures tho because there's no recording D:
He is good at teaching, but you won't be getting any of your exams back or anything really on time.
he is patient in answering students' questions. but do not expect to get your midterm test grade back, I can not understand that. I mean at least let students know their weaknesses and get prepared for their super hard final exam.
Avg 97 for the quizzes. Midterm was very hard despite studying & reviewing everything. Final was even worse. Plz go out of your way and study the content on your own bc he does everything late. I got my midterm mark today...its been 3 weeks since finals. His assignment/hw is easier compared to his exams so study harder plz.
He always did everything LATE. When signing up for a tutorial, always choose ones later in the week bc he posts hw the day before the first tutorial. This is not fair for those whose tutorials were on monday bc they had 1 day to practice the content for the quizzes compared to others. I have contacted him as well regarding this but its not much.
Professor Grinnell is a challenging but engaging teacher. While exams can be tough, his lectures are worthwhile and he's happy to answer questions. unstuckstudy was a game-changer for quiz prep.
Teaches very well and keeps you engaged. Quizzes are your chance to get 95+%. Midterm is not necessarily hard, but you must read things carefully and have prepared adequately. Final is similar, the questions are not impossible by any means but you must be meticulous and pay attention to the details, especially your own arithmetic.
quizzes are easy to score high on but midterm and final are challenging. imo, the midterm was harder than the final. he does do things a bit late, like we got our midterm grade back just 1 day before the drop date, and he sometimes goes a bit fast over hard examples. overall, raymonds a good professor, and you can tell hes passionate about teaching
Course was tough, although he was a good teacher and explained concepts well.
super nice prof, he is willing to help you but you have to take the responsibility to ask. His lectures are useful because he is good at explaining concepts. His tests are fair but he is really late with posting assignments and releasing grades. He has a kink for variable only questions on tests but he is funny just don't yap in his class.
Pretty fair prof. If you put in the time and effort you can get a mark that you deserve. His exams are a bit challenging though.
Awful lecture, has nothing to do with exam and limited practice material, likes theory questions a lot
the people that say this course is overly hard clearly did bad in hs calc bc the first half of the course we already know. his exams are out of so many marks so even if you don't know a difficult question, if you write down something somewhat logical you will get partial marks - overall, good prof, his exams are relatively fair if you study!
Imo this is one of the easier courses. Do all the homework and all past exams (mata32 and 33) trust me these past exams are very helpful. Don't overthink the questions it really is simple if you understand what you were doing in the homework.
