GREAT TEACHER! recommend you take him for any class that he is offering. very helpful and very nice. you have a quiz at the beginning of every class period but they are not hard quizzes. gives extra credit. Definately take this teacher! :-)
Cannot make exam questions. When I took his tests I called him on many questions that were wrong-even ones that contradicted the book! When I told him, he didn't want to fix all of them even though he was wrong! I guess thats what its like with a lawyer as a teacher. Otherwise, easy material but he gives lots of quizzes & other assignments.
very good lectures, he made the subject easy to learn. i took him in the summer so half of the online discussions were cut out. quizzes and tests are open-book but still read through it. his extra credit was was easy & it Really boosts your grade. i believe he's got a hold of webCT now to correct those (very) few mismarked questions. Take him!!
Don't take him for summer classes! The quizzes and exams were done on Webct and most of the time, if you chose a right answer, it counted it wrong. At the end of the semester he said he wouldn't fix them, wouldn't curve grades, and never offered extra credit. I guess he was too busy.
Great professor. He is passionate about the subject and wants students to learn. The online tests and quizzes were not difficult if you did the reading.
I think he was awesome! He lectured in class the stuff that was going to be in the exam. Quizes and exams were on WebCt, what more can you ask for. An easy A if you apply yourself. By far one of the BEST professor in UTSA. If you want to learn and enjoy your class Take him. I got an A.
Took class in summer '06. Very easy and interesting. I kinda wish I had taken him during a full semester to fully appreciate all of the information that was covered. Quizzes were easy and extra credit really helps. I would highly recommend this teacher.
He is OK if you are taking law, but do not take ethics from this guy. First of all its a bit ironic that an attorney of all people is teaching ethics. This guy lays the homework on thick. Two papers, one 10 page paper and a 12 page paper, and lots of quizzes. This professor sucks stay away!!!!!!!!!
In regards to the pevious statement on ethics class yes the homework does appear thick but its really not that bad. there is a 10 & a 12 page paper but they are graded either a 100/50/0 based upon effort. Also the quizes are 5 questions quizes. This class is not that difficult at all. He wants everyone to succeed and if you pay attention you will.
Teske requires students to be really invovled with the class. Only because he wants you to get something out of it. There are two papers you must do. They are pretty lengthy, but they are not bad as long as you don't procrastinate. Quiz(s) must be completed every week of the semester. Reading is a must if you want to understand the class.
Very helpful professor, he responds to e-mails quicker than any professor I've ever had. He requires two lengthy papers but they're easy to write. Offers many different extra credit opportunities
Great professor, works with students to help you better understand the subject. Have to write 2 papers, not too bad if you start on them early. Only gives 3 tests and they are online and openbook, and you have to take quizzes throughout the semester. Overall a great class, keeps it interesting, and not too hard!!
I had Teske for BLW and GBA, and he was great for both. He definitly wanted students to learn and he did a great job doing just that. He gives lots of extra credit and will help you with whatever. He is very busy though, so do not expect to hear back from his emails quickly. Take him!
Mr. Teske is a great teacher. There's a lot of online quizzes and papers, unless you get into the EIB project which you have to apply for. I was in it and it was so easy- I got out of 2/3 of the tests and one of the 2 papers and the work for the project is easy. Try to get into the project- you won't regret it!
This class keeps you busy. I had 2 other classes that were senior level & this class was the most work I had to do. You have online quizzes & 2 big papers, if you don't do the project, along w/exams, that aren't easy. He takes forever to post grades & to reply back to you. I was very frustrated for his lack of communication & his grading.
He completely bombed! He and his TA took FOREVER to reply to e-mails, i'm talkin' weeks. The textbook was confusing & even he hated the book! Lots of reading for the quizzes, extremely long papers which he never really gave you clear instructions on how he wanted it! Hard class for a lower division course! I wouldn't take him again!
Professor's class lacks structure and feedback. The end of the semester is here, and I still have no idea on thirty percent of my grade because Teske has not posted them. Easy class? Perhaps, but be prepared to devote time to busy work, and lots of it. Bottom line: He's better UTSAÂ’s other professors for the class
class is a work in progress, lots of online quizes,2 major papers, one is a group effort, good luck with your team members, lectures are okay, enron story is good, book is not easy reading,
Super nice guy! Even though you may be bored and tempted to skip his class, DON'T cuz at the end of the semester your attendance grade will mess up all the "easy work" you did all semester. Kinda boring during lecture, great class discussions!
One of the best I've had at getting the entire class (200+) engaged in open discussions about matters that are both highly relevant and practical. Also has a great sense of humor.
good guy, curves like crazy if you see him! open book quizzes, must keep up wuth material, does a lot of WebCT stuff, attendance is mandatory, but gives lots of EC, only the final, 20 quizzes(open book), a couple papers...breeze. Got an A, but missed 3 classes and got a B instead!!! MUST GO TO CLASS, HE GETS EVERYONE INVOLVED, FUN!
Take him if you get the chance. Very thorough in his teachings. No class on test night and all tests were open book that you take online. Lots of little assignments that totals your final grade. Class not mandatory however, a quiz is given after each class that contributes to your final grade. Easy A or B if you put in a little effort.
Good professor, gives a lot of extra credit, read the chapters and do good on the quizzes, uses the same questions from the quizzes on the final exam almost! Read and get an easy "A"
he i a cool guy, he knows his stuff very well and also made very interesting discussions but the way he grades is terrible, I just finished the class a week ago and still dont know what i made!!! LOTSS of quizes, assigments, group projects, you spend lots of time on webct but other than doing all that is a good class!
He is great, he makes the class very interesting, he earns respect of the students, which many other professors are short in that, if you go to class even tough he said is not mandatory, and work in group"not relying in someone else to study for you" then you will get an A. he is very flexible if you show interest in the class.
Prof. Teske was seriously amazing. This is a class that I actually looked forward to going to. He engaged the students in discussion and introduced new ways to think about things. I dropped Heller before and am so glad I did. Teske is down to earth, funny and very intelligent. Many small assignments and one large paper. But absolutely worth it!
Prof. Teske was very helpful and he knew his stuff really well. Great professor. Take him if you can.
Take this guy. All quizzes and tests were online, but rumor has it that might change. Attendance not mandatory, but recommended.
Used to be an easy "A" intro class. Now, Mr. Teske made it into "one of the most important classes" one takes. Hopefully, Mr. Teske will go back teaching Business Law classes soon again.
The class has become a joke. Professor doesn't care and online quizzes are impossible. Class doesn't meet Monday unless to work on useless group project. I was so excited about taking this course and now I would not recommend to anyone. Stay away and take another professor. Assignment links never work and he doesn't care unfortunately. Good luck
Awesome professor. He did change his style so no more online tests but he does give you everything you need to know for the test in the prior days. I highly recommend this professor for any classes he teaches.
Class is a joke. Online text is expensive and don't get anything out of it but need it for weekly quizzes. Don't take this class in the Fall or you will have a 15 page paper related to ethics in groups. Tests are easy but class sucks.
WAY too much work for a sophomore level class. online text book is a joke and waste of money, dont get me started on the text. talks fast hard to keep up with. nice guy if you visit his office. group project seems worthwhile IF you get a good group, but again, it was a LOT of work. seems like all the GBA teachers do the same thing, so good luck
I've come to believe that the only reason he keeps track of absences is because no one would show up if he didn't. He teaches out of the Weiss ethics book, not the one he tells you to buy. I googled some of the stuff he has on his slides and they match another teacher's from NGU. His class isn't CPA approved because he's a joke. Easy though.
Took his for Real Estate Law. Half the posts on here are probably from Prof. Teske. Cool guy, easy class, I never opened the book. I had some good laughs in his class. He made us do a "30 page group research paper" which was pointless but it was an "A" for a test grade.
The professor tries to make the class about learning the material for personal gain rather than just reading from the text and repeating what you read. We got the opportunity to volunteer and go to meeting with Real Estate Professionals as an assignment. He is easy going and just wants students to do their part
Heed my words, Do not take him. He is an A hole to students and does not keep track of his own work. He give out work as if everyone was only taking his class. Absolutely ridiculous. Teske made me change my mind on taking any other real estate classes. I worked hard, but his stupid rules would FIND ways to deduct frivolous points. Cares for no one
Teske should be fired... Unfortunately he does not teach anything in class and talks about stupid topics. This is my weekly agenda: 2 quizes (40 questions in total), 6 chapter readings with 6 notes per chapter to turn in, 15 volunteer hours(whole semester), and 1 part of business plan. No care for students.
I wouldn't not recommend this class. The course was changed this semester so everything we did was unorganized and not clear as it could have been. More time spent in class formatting and how he wants us to do Real Estate Business plan that is due each week. I worked hard in the class and did not gain much. 15 hours of REFD volunteer work required.
Do not take this guy. Granted, he does know much about the field he teaches in. Gives a semester long project that is the majority of your grade. He does not give enough input in how to complete the parts of the project. If you like professors who think that you only have time to do their work, then take this guy.
attendance is mandatory. busy work like you wouldn't BELIEVE!! If you're not good at busy work, then no. Comments below are true unfortunately. This class really sucked i actually found it funny that NO ONE knew how to do the business plan, with all said, you can easily get an A or B. Turn in online assignments on time and ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY
Attendance mandatory, reading assignments and quizzes are pretty simple and straight forward. My only complaint is he goes through the most important part of the class (business plan-50% of grade) very quickly. instructions for the business plan are not clear, and disorganized. Very hard to follow.
Time consuming class. If Business Plan was explained better it would not be as time consuming. Must know how to use PDFs, such as saving them and editing them. If you don't know how to work with PDFs, LEARN. NO late assignments accepted, if you submitted wrong or forgot to submit too bad for you he will not give you an opportunity to resubmit.
Great teacher, learned a lot about the real estate industry. Be prepared to study and make sure you pay attention in class. Disappointed in his lack of courtesy on the final grade though. Had a C+ and was less than a half a point away from a B but he gave me a C+. Be prepared to take your grade as is
TAKE HIM FOR GBA 2013. He is seriously the best. I actually enjoyed taking his class. Tests are EASY!
Great professor. Knowledgeable, respectful, funny, supportive, and experienced in his field. I definitely recommend him for take GBA2013, especially in the summer. His class is very interesting, a lot of discussion about laws, ethics, and other business related laws. His tests are simple and clear. Definitely take him.
His class focuses less on the philosophy of ethics and more on the real world applications. Way easier than Clark. His exams are easy but he spends to much time talking to finish his lecture outlines. Class is mandatory, phones are an absolute no. Seems more like a high school coach than a professor. Easy A.
He is very knowledgeable on real world situations. He like conversation, which I think is awesome. He basically gives the answer to the tests. You aren't allowed to have your phone but its only an hour so NBD. He is a nice guy. Don't buy the book. You'll have to write a 20 pg paper about yourself but he doesn't take up the hard copy. Great guy!
This class is an easy A, gives quizzes that must be done before that class. Lectures are handouts that you fill in for the exams, which are all online and very easy. I don't know how someone can fail his class. I never read the book but you want for the quizzes. I would definitely take Prof. Teske!!!
GREAT PROFESSOR!!!! Lots of assignments, open book quizes and tests. As long as you have time to invest in this class it is an easy A.
He is very clear with his instructions for the class. All assignments are due before the end of the semester, so DO NOT wait till the last minute to do them. Midterm and Final are each 100 Qs and have a limited time so make sure you know your stuff. Everything you need to complete for the class is online except for the group presentation and video.
This class is not hard as long as you do not procrastinate. There are two presentations which aren't too bad and online quizzes. A lot of extra credit is offered and the midtermfinal may seem intimidating, but they are not too hard. Only downfall is that grades on a plusminus scale.
Be ready for a CRAZY amount of busy work! Subject matter is not difficult but the amount of assignments gets out of control. The mandatory personal reflection paper, while insightful, was by far the longest paper I have ever written. About 15 pages (not including the pages written by 5 other people, required). Easy A but A LOT of time involved
best professor!! there are no tests, but there are multiple quizzes and writing assignments due every week. the writing assignments are all about you and are only 1-2 pages. major group podcast, worth a whole letter grade. all assignments are posted at the beginning of the semester, so you can do them any time. attendance is worth points.
Professor Teske was great and a lot of help. Very interesting. Great Guest Speakers. His class is apparently constantly evolving. References what he did or how he graded things in previous semesters. He is an attorney so he likes to hear himself talk. A little too much time on Jack Abramoff, but entertaining over all. Thought-provoking.
This class was very interesting & fairly simple. Mostly online quizzes & attendance. There was a group podcast assignment & a very long personal reflection paper (although this was split up to be just a few pages due per week). He also gave a few extra credit opportunities. Seriously, if you do all of the homework, it's hard to get less than an A.
Beware of ridiculous reflective papers. Most of the assignments are online based. the online textbook is a MUST to pass the quizzes. The class is really easy, just expect to do some online work.
Nice guy that teaches well and always there if you need help. Just show up
It is possible to get an A in this class if you are a student that doesnt make mistakes. MANY MANY MANY assignments, 1-2 page paper every week as well as 8-15 quizzes. He is not understanding at all, Miss anything it is a 0. Final and Midterm.
Worst professor I have ever had in college, he takes GBA to another level you would think he was teaching a science class. He was very rude and is not understanding at all. If you make a mistake automatic zero. He also told us to NOT contact him for ANYTHING. very rude person and received a lot of complaints. But if you do his work you will pass.
I never done this much home work for one class. Very time consuming but not hard
What a load of work this class was! Will never take Teske again!
I have enjoyed this class. When you get a chance with your hectic schedules, you can complete weeks of homework....I've been completed with my work for about a month now and there is still another month left in the semester and I have an A and plan to stay with that A!!! If he taught more classes, I would definitely take him AGAIN!!
Easy A for online class, go ahead and take him. You can skip ahead for the most part and complete your assignments. Easy assignments, alot of videos to watch and outlines to complete based on the videos. Go for it take him!
GREAT CLASS! Highly recommend. His class is useful and insightful. It is easy assignments. Take him and do the simple work and you won't regret it.
I took this class online and the workload is pretty intense--especially in the beginning--and unevenly distributed. It's a lot of reading. You also have to rent/buy several documentaries. The professor doesn't respond to your emails in a timely manner, if at all.
Teske is great. The class is very interesting and I learned a lot. Warning to those with full time daytime jobs: He requires you to attend 5 Real Estate events per semester. This can be difficult because the majority of them are during the day when you are at work. If you can make that work, the events are interesting.
Took this class b/c I had Teske in a prior class and he was ok. But with this class!! Boy oh boy.. He bombards you with assignments and expects you to find time outside of class to attend 5 Real Estate events! He's a cool guy, but he doesn't return emails or text messages especially about grades! This class is too assignment heavy. Don't take!
I took the online class and passed with a solid A. I did all the homework last minute. The quizzes and homework were a breeze. His grading criteria is very self explanatory and his lectures run smoothly with the homework and quizzes Trust me when I say that this online was one of the easiest I have taken. Plus there was no final.
I took it over the summer, so it may be different during the normal semester. He kind of just set everything up and told us it was due on the last day of the class. We got a group together and knocked everything out in two weeks.
Took this class in the summer and every assignment was due at the end of the 10 weeks. LOTS OF BUSY WORK but if you focus you can get it done. I finished in 4 weeks because of traveling, but it wasn't easy. Also, he makes you purchase long boring movies for quizzes. I'd say he's a solid choice if you aren't lazy.
Tons of assignments each week, however none of them is particularly challenging. As long as you can complete assignments on time, you will pass this class with an A. No tests for the online class. Just 10-12 assignments each week that can easily be completed in 1-2 hours. Worth it if you want an A.
Really enjoyed this professor. Lots of interesting videos, movies, and documentaries to watch on YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon. The textbook was actually pretty interesting as well. The real world examples really bring this class to life. Class is well structured, and if you do the reading and watch the videos, you will get an A.
Finished the class within 2 months. There are no exams. His lectures are interesting and he gives extra credit
Fun easy class on Ethics. I learned a lot. This class is great if are taking a bunch of hard classes since this one is pretty cut and dry. Its almost like a hybrid class since all the homework is done through blackboard. Great class and Professor gem at UTSA
TAKE THIS CLASS especially if you're taking other classes that require more time. Simple class, 16 modules which are usually due every Sunday night. The modules are easy, all the answers are in the book (just skim and you'll find the answers), and there are a couple of assignments where you have to watch a movie or read a long article. EASY A.
Teske is honestly the BEST professor I've ever had. As far as the textbook goes, you can use the previous edition which can be found as a PDF online for free. NO EXAMS, NO TESTS, just a few online quizzes each week which you can ctrl+f the answers. He also gives out SO MUCH easy extra credit. It is IMPOSSIBLE to fail. I trust Teske with my life.
For it being an online class this was a very hard/time consuming class. There are No Tests nor final. But A LOT OF quizzes. You must watch like 10 videos every week and take quizzes. You will need to buy the book and rent/buy movies very often in order to take quizzes. FYI- NONE OF THE ANSWERS ARE ONLINE. He does not drop any modules!
Easiest online class Ive ever taken and I actually learned so much. Weekly modules with videos and quizzes. Just watch the videos and answer the quiz questions while listening. There are chapter quizzes, but if you buy the ebook from amazon its like 30 bucks and all the answers are word for word.
If you're looking for an easy finance elective THIS IS IT. Easy going guy and the class consists of just 12 podcasts and quizzes over them due at the end of this semester. Definitely take the hybrid class.
This class is not difficult but the professor can be very frustrating. Assignments are due Fridays @ 5pm but he will not open the assignments until the week of, and at random. It doesn't leave much room for planning if you have a full time job. Also, he does not respond to emails and will only reply in the online workshops which is Mondays @ 8am
Lectures are very well prepared with real-life, sometimes first hand, examples that tie into the criteria. My only issue he would open assignments on Monday and they would be due Friday at 5:00pm which gave absolutely no time to do any assignments on the weekend. He changed the deadlines to final semester date
Took him during the summer. He assigns a ton of online lectures of him talking, and then pairs it to a quiz. About 4 or 5 quizzes a week. Sometimes he forgets to post for one module so he gives it to you for the next one, so double the work in a short amount of time. His online lectures are about an hour and a half hours each.
Compared to other professors he is somewhat scattered brained and not very structured to the point that he becomes a hinderance if you are a working professional. He canceled classes the day of the class which you plan your other obligations around. I had to just throw out the syllabus bc the assignments/test due dates did not followed it at all.
Pros: -A lot of assignments; missing one wont hurt your grade too much -Everything is clear-cut; you know exactly what is expected of you Cons: -No extra credit -Some assignments require you to purchase i.e. movies on top of the textbook -Textbook wasnt really used besides for the Chapter Quizzes -Some quizzes have little questions
This is a relatively easy online class, however, there are multiple assignments due every week and it can seem daunting at the beginning. Keep up to date with the assignments and you're golden. He makes it easy with outlines to fill in as you watch videos or listen to audio lectures. But in the work and it's an easy A
Lots of homework in the form of quizzes on videos he posts but it's actually really interesting. He gives two big extra credit opportunities at the end of the course and it can raise you a letter grade
Lots of homework in the form of quizzes on videos he posts but it's actually really interesting. He gives two big extra credit opportunities at the end of the course and it can raise you a letter grade!
Took the online class. You need the book because there are quizzes from some chapters. Each week there are a ton of assignments (readings, videos, sometimes movies), but they're not hard and since there are so many it doesn't hurt if you skip a few. He posts everything at the start of the semester so you can work ahead and finish the class early.
Easy A, no brainer! You have one module with a couple of quizzes each week to finish, you have to watch like 4-5 movies all semester and answer the quizzes (50-60 questions)), ONLY ANNOYING PART is this essay you have to do every module that is the story of your life, basically a one page essay every week about you in early life, now, values, etc.
Professor Teske is a good professor. Love taking this course, has a lot of interesting topics and has you look into your ethical development. There is a lot of assignments but super easy. Easy A. I would highly recommend taking his course.
This class was simple, as long as you follow all directions by the professor. I really liked the ongoing "Story Of My Life" papers he had us write, as it gave me a reflection on life and made the class interesting. He does post a lot of lectures with quizzes, but if you listen to the lecture, the quizzes are very straight forward.
The class is very simple as long as you watch the lectures and read the chapters. Some of it is understandable without, put these are better aids. The Story of My Life segment of the class is hands down my favorite part.
This class was really enjoyable and easy, just a little time consuming. My only complaint is that you can't speed up his podcasts (lectures).
Nice guy but he seems busy, like "too busy to care about this course" busy. He was definitely creating material as he went through the course as modules were frequently posted late. Seems disorganized. No course calendar, due dates are often up in the air. Material is easy though, just didn't feel like I learned much.
Easy A if you do all the work. This class is very time consuming. You learn from podcasts that he has made and posts. they are about an hour long and he would post anywhere from 3-6 of these a week. Do the math 3-6 hours of listening to podcasts and then he has a quiz/test over each one once you have listened. Lets you go at your own pace, not bad.
Professor Teske is the best! He has an incredible sense of humor really cool person. I took RFD 3533 and it was super low stress low pressure. Definitely an easy A but you have to show up to class as attendance is mandatory and most of your grade will be made up by in class quizzes or group work. Nothing hard. Just show up and participate.
Great Professor super lax. I've taken multiple classes of his and as long as you attended you received a good grade.
The class is easy overall, but it is just based on quizzes. This seems good but he has made us pay/rent movies in order to take tests in this class. he has no remorse and does not care if you miss a quiz because he doesn't let you retake it. He doesn't round up either. he does provide some extra credit, but it is also a lot of work (13 page paper)
Easy! literally just do the podcast assignments that are given. Not hard a bit tedious and time consuming long podcast but special projects etc. Only thing I wish was his communication to be better had a couple of emergencies and did not respond. Other than that easy A
His lectures are long winded, if he would plan his lectures there would be no need for an hour plus lecture for almost ever lecture.
Prof. Teske's assignments are pretty easy. He does grade you on a couple of movies you have to watch and get quizzed on so make sure to prepare some time to watch them. Prof. Teske provides a bit of his own experience. I found these lessons to be something I definitely want to incorporate and keep in mind for my future as a leader.
Loved it! There were about 5 quizzes due every Sunday but the transcripts from the lecture videos helped a lot. You can finish this class in a month. The discussion posts do not have to be lengthy either. Very easy class, felt like busy work but you actually learn. Can't be lazy in this class because it's that easy.
Awesome professor, would take again! Assignments are pretty straight-forward. We had weekly quizzes that were based off of lectures. The lectures were interesting and sometimes funny too! Grading rubric is pretty straight forward.
This class was super easy to follow. I 100% recommend taking the online version of this class with him. The main set up would be where you watch a video and then answer questions about that video. There are quite a few quizzes each week, but they don't take that long. Other than that, I def recommend.
Easy class and easy professor! Most of the course consists of quizzes based off of videos, readings, and movies. The rest of the assignments are discussions based off of movies that be assigns. Also, the professor counts the course survey as extra credit.
This class is pretty straightforward. Quizzes are due every Sunday but just keep up with them and you should be fine. I really enjoyed this class and would recommend it to any of my fellow business majors.
He was nice enough, there are in-person assignments & online homework, and also provided a clear, organized plan for the semester. The main problem I had were his podcast lectures. Those were my least favorite part of the class because they would drag on for so long and wouldn't give clear answers to the tests we took after them.
you learn a lot if you pay attention. easy class as long as u complete ur work. prof is good. i would recommend taking him.. makes you want to go into law.
If you want an easy professor who makes things easy, take this class. Weekly assignments that can be done pretty quickly, very few discussion posts that you don't need to respond to other classmates about :) , gives us good videos that are really inspirational to watch as well.
Took his class in the summer, only resources are 1-2 hour + podcasts that can get extremely hard to follow. The entire class is pretty much quizzes that come from his personal extensive podcasts which makes the quizzes extremely time-consuming cause if you aren't paying attention for 5 seconds you miss an answer.
His online real estate class starts out pretty easy but it gets harder throughout the semester and there is a lot of questions that the answer is not in the powerpoints during the quizzes.
Class started out easy, but it gets harder every week. There are assignments to do every week and everything is tally due on Sundays.
Overall pretty good professor in the sense of the variety of material he provides. There are no exams, but multiple open note quizzes/assignments due every week that are supplemented by a recorded lecture, video, textbook, website, or even movie. The whole course is open from the beginning, so working ahead can help give flexibility.
Lots of reading, videos (some just audio) and TONS of quizzes each week. Almost no involvement the entire course from Prof Teske. Wouldn't respond to emails. Look out for about 4 older movies you have to pay to watch for quizzes.
Great professor with a plethora of information regarding real estate. If you pay attention, this might be one of your favorite professors at UTSA. Very clear grading criteria although homework can be a bit much sometimes. Everything is due at the end of every week so it makes things a bit easier. Highly recommend taking him again!
Assignment scheduling was clear. Mostly everything regarding the topic is explained fairly easy, most assignments are one way or another related to the topic and tests. Great lectures provided by the professor. The course isn't really complicated and doesn't require much from students other than responsibility to turn in the assignments on time.
Professor is easy! literally just do your assignments. He opens the entire semester up from day one. the work is CRAZY easy but very educational. most assignments require you to follow along with an (on average) 12 min lecture to complete a (on average) 10 question quiz. Some assignments, you watch a movie and follow along with a quiz..
decent teacher, good lectures but oh my god he can talk. a 10 question quiz is like a minimum of a 3 hour lecture as he talks around the question FOREVER. I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO PULL MY HAIR OUT MORE WHEN LISTENING TO A RECORDING EVER IN MY LIFE.
by far the most brain numbing class you will ever have, i swear he just likes hearing himself talk. his podcasts suck and he just yaps around the question repeatedly. be aware of a yap fest for every quiz
The use of group discussions, quizzes, and real-life examples helped reinforce key ideas and kept the class engaged.
Amazing Professor and lovely response time! Overall amazing and great class!
Can be time consuming and is hard to learn and retain subjects of ethics when most of the professor's assignments are based on inconsistent short/long lectures or videos/movies that are outdated or cost money. Textbook can be found for free online and assignments aren't proctored so online resources and video transcripts will be your best friend.
If there was a 3.5 rating, I would give it to this professor. His tests and quizzes can contain errors which make the overall reliability dubious. Additionally, his questions over topics, especially the movies you watch, are tedious and unnecessary. However, he does seem passionate about what he teaches.
Great online class. There are no tests, just quizzes, and some discussions. It's super easy to pass. He lets you work ahead, so this class is easy to finish early. I would definitely take it again.
Its a very straightforward, easy class. You just need to show up when attendance is required and complete the straightfoward assignments online. Hes a professor who genuinely wants all his students to succeed. If you need anything ask him for help he is a very nice man!
