He scared the HELL out of my whole class the first evening we met.He came across like he hated everyone in the room but he was demonstrating the power of 1st impressions.The point he made with us is something I will always remember and he is without a doubt my favorite instructor.The lectures he presents seems to amaze everybody.

I have been attending CSN for 2 and a half years and he is the 1st Hispanic Professor I have ever had. I feel so much pride as a Latina when he some times speakes Spainish in class.I never wanted to take this class but now I am very motivated to give it everything I have.

I really enjoy coming to class and seeing how he is going to challenge us each time we meet. He is very intense but he makes you feel special and important.This class has suddenly became my favorite and I cannot stand giving speeches.

The guy is so FUNNY and really makes you think before you speak.

I had to drop all my classes because of an illness in my family.Mr.Puchot was very sensitive and supportive to my situation.He spend his whole office time with me last week and help prepare me for registration in the Spring.I want to be in his class next semester.

In spite of the fact that he seems real demanding and strict I am looking forward to the class.

I know that it is still very early in the semester but I have never had a professor who was as easy to get in contact with. I had to miss a class last week and he made sure to get a hold of me and was really concerned about how I was doing and prepared me for thje next class over the phone it was wild. I wish all my professors cared as much.

I am a Nursing Major and already I know this class will really help me in my career. The Professor seems very confident in demonstrating the impact of Small Group Communication on us from both a professional and personel realm and he keeps everyone in the class laughing more then any other class I have taken.

Professor Puchot is a lot of fun.He seems to be able to speak on any topic and his level of expertise is very apparent.He even put me in a wonderful "Learning Community" with 5 really smart and hot looking girls.I love this class.

We are barely at the Mid-term point but already this has been my favorite class at CSN and I have been a student here for 5 semesters. Professor. Puchot is demanding but very warm and supportive all at the same time.

I had to drop the class because of work and might have transfered to UNLV in the Spring.However, Professor.Puchot took the time to arrange a meeting with me in order to see if he could help me in any way.NO teacher has ever showed me so much concern and that is why I am coming back at least part time in the spring.

Professor.Puchot seems to go to great lenghts to make sure that we are totally prepared for all the work we have to do in class.He gives us additional time to work out any problems in our speeches and he gave us a killer study guide for the mid-term examination.I don't think you are going to find a nicer guy.

This class is more stressful then any course I have ever taken but I am having a wonderful time.I enjoy all mt classmates.

If you take him for speech be prepared to work at a rate of speed and intensity that you will not believe.He pushes and pushes but he keeps you entertained and motivated.Best college course I have taken in 2 years.

On a hot and SEXXY scale he is off the charts.I like the fact that he is willing to answer any question whenever I have one.He makes me feel good about myself.

The man is tough but fair.My presentrations have not been as prepared for as they should have been and he really came down on me hard!I am committed to doing much better in my final presentations.

I am not sure that using a Foreign Language in a Speech Class is a good thing or not. He always translates everything he says in English so that everyone understands what he is saying and is great at giving feedback.However, his teaching style is very different and at this point the most unique I have encountered.

I am always in tears after class because I am laughing so much. He makes coming to class fun and worth while.It is the only class I have not missed this semester.

In spite of the fact that my class has some very silly kids in it. He always displays a great deal of patience and is wonderful at keeping the class in control.He creates an enviroment that challenges everyone to do their best.

Mr.Puchot is very demanding and can come across as cruel at times.However, I know that he is only tying to prepare us for the future and I enjoy his intensity.He never pulls punches and tells you what you need to hear.

Prof. Puchot is one of the best instructor's that I have ever had. He gives a good amount of work, but he honestly cares about his students, which is more than I can say about most professors. He is passionate and very patient, and more than willing to help you if you need it. I would definitely reccommend him..he is a great teacher!

The guy is harsh and very demanding but I have learned more in his class then any class I have ever had and we are only past Mid-Terms. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the class will be like.

I hate giving speeches but Professor.Puchot is very motivating and always supportive.Plus he is the HOTTES looking Prof. at both CSN & UNLV which makes going to class a different type of educational experience.

I am a divorced mother with 3 teenage girls and I may have to drop communication 101 because of my work schedule and home issues.However, I wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful Professor Mr.Puchot is because if it were not for him I might have dropped out of CSN in the 3rd week of classes.He has been my best friend and advocate.

This is my most difficult class because I HATE giving speeches. I know I am getting better each time I speak and this is because Mr.Puchot gives everyone in class confidence and a sense of importance.

I am a new member of Phi Theta Kappa at Collin College in Dallas,Texas.On Nov.1,2009 Mr.Puchot gave the most impressive speech i have ever had the pleasure of hearing.My parents and I were in AWE in the way he made us laugh and at the same time made us proud of my becoming a new meber of PTK (Hiss)!!! I would love it if he taught at Collin College

The last year I attended school was 1974 and then I quit in 10th grade to get married so, this is a huge accomplishment for me. I was unable to get the funding in time to keep all of the classes so I enrolled in Professor Puchots comm.101 and have to tell you it is the most interesting class I have ever attended based on high school.Caring kind.

Mr. Puchot totally suprised me the first day but then after that he is a very good teacher who really knows what hes talking about. helped out a lot!

At times you are going to want to drop this class like an ATOM BOMB because he pushes your nerves like no other professor I have had but that is the same reason I am going to stay and get at least a C.

A kind and caring person who seems to take his job to heart and shows great concern for all of us. I am glad to be one of his students and will take him again.

I'm not saying this just to say it but he really is a GOOD teacher. He's fair, is willing to listen and actually help. No matter the situation. The class is easy to understand, his assignments are legit, and you choose your grade you choose what kind of exam you're going to take and that's the big thing.CHOICE. I HIGHLY recommend this proffessor.

He is not an easy teacher, but he is there to help you with anything you need. It is an awesome class. I really recommend taking him if you can.

This class is the type of course that makes you wake up at night and scream because it so damn hard.However, I feel like I am becoming a better speaker and that is what I enrolled in the course for.Be prepared to work.

Best teacher I have ever had! He makes class fun & interesting, & I always wanted to learn. I couldn't wait to go to class. He's extremely helpful in everything you do. The class isn't hard, but only if you keep track of your time & make sure you do your work. The only hw is reading the chapters, which are easy, & writing your speeches.

it's a fun class to take. lots of writing.

Great professor. Easy to get a good grade if you just do what is asked. Speeches take some time preparing but it isn't a lot of work to get a good grade. Book is somewhat used for journals but that is about it. You don't really need the book if you can borrow it from someone.

Mr. Puchot was a great teacher, funny, easy to understand, and helpful. Im glad i took him. He is intimidating. You do have to earn your grade. KEEP UP WITH THE JOURNALS!!

This was my first class I've taken since being out of college for 10 years. Prof Puchot was a fun, laid back instructor but still expected results. He's very understanding that "life happens" and sometimes things get in the way of getting to class, etc.

This pro is nice and the class is interesting but its hard word. You have to do journals on 16 capters and your speeches have to be on time!

Professor.Puchot is a wonderful teacher who always displays a great sense of humor.I do not know if he is married but if he is his wife is one lucky lady. The man combines brains and brawn in a way that I have not seen before.

I had a lot of fun in his class. He is very helpful and does whatever he can to make you succeed. It was a very laid back class and lots of fun. I highly encourage you to take his class.

Professor Puchot was a great professor. I was a very shy and was not looking forward to this class. However, he made this class one of my favorites. He is an excellent professor and I wish he taught more than communications!

Great teacher...learned a lot and had fun while doing it. I always looked forwarded to attending class and hope to be able to take more classes in the future from him.

He is a really articulate guy. I liked him just because of that. but he does it in a way that everyone can understand...he's very blunt, but still a cool guy.

gets your attention right from the beginning and keeps it all semester. puchot made the class useful, interesting, and fun. he also does a great job of personally evaluating each student, pointing out strengths and weaknesses in speech.

he is the greatest. I really enjoyed going to his class, he made communications fun. I doubt they'll be another professor like him. hes big on sports! And he's a cowboys fan!

honestly the BEST professor/teacher i have ever had in my entire life. not only was he extremely knowledgeable about this subject, he was able to create a fun and exciting environment for every student to learn in. he is one of the most supportive and encouraging people i have ever met and anyone would be lucky to have him as a professor.

I really appreciated his energy and very DIRECT approach to teaching.His class was intense but he was teaching us how to handle the challenges of a true college education.I have been able to make the Honor Roll at UNLV and I have applied much of what I learned from him at CSN.
