Very clear and very enthusiastic! He has a good teaching method and will go over it with you until you understand it without becoming impatiant with you. I will take for my advanced math classes and would recommend.

This guy is crazy about attendance, but he tries to make math simple. A lot of people don't like this guy, but for me he's a cool dude. When he tries to clown you, just clown him back. Bottom line, don't let him get to you.

Professor Tripp actually cares about rather or not you pass. If you want to pass, TAKE HIM! If you don't care, then don't waist his time or the other students' time. He's funny, sweet, and willing to help in any way he can, as long as you show YOU CARE!

Mr. Tripp is an awesome teacher, he was always patient, but he is not easy. He will explain as many times as needed. I hated math before I met him and he changed the way I look at math forever. I would take him if you are not strong in math and need extra help.

He's great, but you have to do your work inordeer to pass, when he teaches he very clear and understanding, and if he will work with you until you are able to get it. But in class everyday he will give a lecture about passing his class, if you want to pass his class you have to do the work but overall a great teacher.

Wonderful teacher! I was a high school dropout, who made D's in math, if I was lucky. I graduated from High school with an "F" in math and thought I will never get it. I owe Mr. Tripp a lot: he is the best math teacher you can ever ask for. Prof.Raymond Tripp is amazingly wise, he can even give you some history insight about mathematics. He applies algebra to the real world like money for awesome examples with integers and fractions. His class is like playing a game, where you want to continue to win & figure it out, so much to learn. He's the grandpa you always wished for, he cares.

Noob below me probably didn't do his homework that's probably why he failed. Professor trip is an easy professor the only thing that you have to worry about is your assignments. EVERY assignment counts. Do this and you will understand the material and pass the class.

The class itself starts out easy, it reviews everything from the class before. 3 weeks or 4 weeks into the class is when it starts to get hard. The required material is time consuming but extremely helpful. This class is hard if you dont do the work or put the time in. If your a slacker, choose a different teacher.

okay..here is the deal..if your a lazy bum please don't take this class, waste of your time and other people's time. This class is not easy. I have never take a class with him, but everytime I go to the Math Connections (Tutoring Center) he is there. He helps me a lot with my questions and gives you tips on how to solve Math problems easier and faster! I think he should be a good professor!

I took Prof. Tripp for both MAT12 and 24. My math skills were virtually non-existent and I was horrified. But he taught me that math is not that hard and gave me the skills to succeed, and not just in his classes: I took College Algebra and Statistics HONORS and got all Aâ??s. Professor Tripp, at first I was like "no why did I choose him", but then as going on thru the semester I was like" damn he's very caring". Well if you're bad at math like really bad I would recommend him, he gives you multiple times to retake quizzes, and he will teach you different methods on how to solves problems.

Professor Tripp is a really caring professor. Most of my math struggles were from early educational flops in math. I failed the first two tests and he let me retake. Took Professor tripp last semester he was amazing loved helping student that are willing to learn and understanding math go see him if you need help sometimes he gives you credit or helps you out with quizzes when you go see him in math lab he's really understanding and he knows people have different ways of learning .

He demands class attendance, but he knows that anything can happen. What he teaches is what's in the tests, and he's always willing to help u in the lab. He is very considerate and patient. He doesn't want anyone to be left behind and makes constant reminders of assessments, so you don't fail the course. He really teaches you and makes you think.

Be prepared for lots of homework, quizzes, and tests. He also has a mandatory open Lab, though it's only for an hour. When he gives his lectures, he wants you to think and use your brain. If there are no phones in class, he will get upset with you on your phone. He does give a 15-minute break halfway through class.

Mr. Tripp, has a big heart and cares for his students, he's understanding and compassionate. However, he sets clear expectations for his class and is tough.
