She is a GREAT teacher, She is willing to help you anytime. Attendance is not mandatory but she takes attendance once in a while and adds that to the final grade. 3 Tests & 2 quizzes are all multiple choice. Homework is very easy, she does a similar problem with you. I highly recommend you take her, and surly I will take her again if possible.

Ms. Berry is a great teacher. Very helpful and willing to work with you. Attendance is not a big issue, but when she do take attendance she gives you a grade for it. I would take any class she teaches.

Prof. Berry is a good professor. Auditing is just boring subject. She has good knowledge of Accounting. Not your typical Accounting Nerd.

Ms. Berry is a wonderful professor. She goes out of the way to make sure you understand the material. Ms. Berry will review before each exam and provide a study guide (very helpful). Exams can be a bit complex, but as long as you read them carefully and study the material, you will be fine. I highly recommend taking Prf. Berry.

Professor Berry is great. She instructs the material clearly and breaks down many concepts. She instructs based on power points so if she is going to fast in class,they are located on D2L. Do not hesitate to schedule mini-tutor sessions, she will be glad to help. Work hard, get the grade.

Berry is a wonderful professor. She reviews before every exam. An A is not going to be handed to you but she does help out if the class doesnt do too well on tests. The material does require studying. class consists of 3 exams, a final, homework problems from the book, A few quizzes online and a project. study and you'll pass With an A.

Nice lady. Good teacher. Goes by the slides during class and will do a few problems. We had two very easy quizzes in the beginning of the semester. 3 tests and a final. No midterm. She also curves the grades on the tests. No cheatsheets. I got a B in the class.

If you can manage to get into her class DO IT! Accounting isnt an easy subject and it takes a professor like her for it to click. There were 3 exams and a final that were multiple choice, four small projects, and hw assignments (thats all you will need the book for). She goes from the powerpoints and gives you practice problems. Open to helping

Professor Berry is one of the best Accounting professors at GGC. She's very clear on what she expects of her students and her homework assignments aren't overwhelming. Her exams are exactly like what she goes over in class so as long as you attend class and maintain contact with her should something arise, you will do great in her class.

Prof. Berry is extremely helpful and her lectures are crystal clear. This is a tough course and I recommend asking her for help when you need it and she will be more than happy to explain it to you. She does not provide a SG! Just study the HW, remember the quizzes, and do practice problems out of the book before each test and you will be fine.

Best teacher yet! i took it over the summer, skipped 3 classes made a 78 always willing to help, super nice! beware tho i got a 78 for the one fact that tests are 30 question all long problems on scantron i got a 63,68,69,83 on the four tests and came out with 78

Professor Berry is by far the best professor to take for the intro ACCT courses. She is very clear in her grading and she really wants you to excel in her class. Homework is assigned for each chapter.

When it comes to teaching, she is great and will almost always help! She is an incredibly strict grader though. She will NOT curve or round any grades or give any extra credit. DO NOT MISS A HOMEWORK. I missed 1 homework the entire semester and it was the difference between an "A" and a "B" for me. Her class was my only grade below an "A".

This is NOT an easy class. You have to do your work and study. The exams are short and tough, miss a few question and you're already at a B or even a C (just depends). Huge project (10+ pages). Yes, it's hard, Yes you have to STUDY and understand. She explains everything in class so go to CLASS! Take notes because you WONT get a study guide!

Professor Berry is a very nice. Posts PowerPoints on D2l & her tests are multiple choice. I'm taking her for managerial and honestly I don't think half the class really understands whats happening. She kinda rushes through the PowerPoints and gives you little time to work on problems. Shell take her time to explain things if you ask.

I've taken her for both acct classes. 2102 in my opinion was a lot easier to understand. Her tests are only hard if you do not study. They are multiple choice. You HAVE to study and pay attention/do the practice problems you do in class!!! Her class is tough, but going to class will definitely help. HAVE TO HAVE TEXTBOOK you use it for the problems

Well it is accounting so regardless it will require you to study. But Professor Berry is by far the best accounting teacher I have ever had. She explains everything in detail, and give you the homework or assignments to help you study. But be warned missing a quiz, homework, or a low test can bring your grade from a high B to a high C.

Professor Berry relates everything to the tests. The Homework reflects what the tests are going to be like. Very good teacher, explains the information in good depth .

I took Professor Berry for Managerial Accounting and I really liked her and the way she taught. Managerial Accounting is WAY easier than financial in my opinion and I think she teaches just fine in the class. She is very nice, willing to help, and answers questions. If you read the book and actually practice, you'll be fine.

She's tough but manageable. She gives out a course schedule with what is expected on each day of class. Do not miss any quizzes or exams. Also, show up the day after the exam, she reviews it! That is helpful for the final. The tough part about this course is the 10 pg project.. however, I got a 100 on it so it's definitely do-able!!!

She is awesome professor. She is willing to set up a time outside of class to meet with you. She does not only hand out class schedule of what to expect but has up on the board at the start of class. There is a project that is 10 pages, but is fairly easy if you do it your pretty much guaranteed an A on it.

Software & Textbook required, DONT SKIP! Pay attention, the material isn't "easy-A" but getting a study group helps. Cumulative final, and 3-4 exams. Quizzes every 2 chapters. Chapter HMW, and one project. Overall she was a VERY good teacher for someone who sucks at math & never took accounting.

Make sure you buy the textbook!!! She's very kind and gives back points if needed.

Prof. Berry is very sweet and will work with you if you talk to her. I really enjoyed working with her- even though I HATED every minute of her class! I took her three times- once was a retake! Whenever I asked for help, she helped me. For non-Accounting people, the class isn't exciting. But, she will help you- just ask! She's nice!

Homework gives you 2 chances within 2 chances has two chances inside the homework to get question right so really you get 6 chances overall. Project is an easy 100 as long as you turn it in. Does review games before exams. If email her homework question she will respond. I took her for both ACCT 2101 and 2102.

Class is hard no matter who you take but if I took someone else I probably wouldnt have passed. 4 tests including final all weighed 17.5 each, 4 quizzes, 10 online connect hwk,1 paper, 1 extra credit . No final study guide! Take her!

Ask questions, she will clarify. She understands that its an Intro class. 1-2 HW/week. Four 5-10 question quizzes. 1 project that took maybe and hour to complete. If you miss class you will fall behind. Fair grader. Class fills fast! Study quizzes and Kahoot for exams! TAKE HER! My 1st Acct class I took, I had to W! I finished this class with a 92!

Accounting is not a subject where you can skip class and get by. However, she has a great teaching style and makes it as easy as it can be. Berry makes the class very straightforward, and I too changed my major to accounting because she changed my view on the subject. Do the homework and read the PowerPoints and you will be fine.

Dr. Berry is a good professor, and she is the best accounting professor at GGC, but that doesnt mean its an easy A. Her tests a 3/4 easy and 1/3 hard, but 75% of your grade is her tests. She does not give any study guides, just a kahoot game (the questions on the kahoot game will be on the test). Just study and you can pass.

textbook use was not a requirement, but we did use the online Connect software. If you study, you will pass. Also, the quiz shows you possible questions that might be on the exam.

Taking Prof. Berry's Fin Acct class was a breath of fresh air! This class is already pretty straight forward but she makes all concepts seem so simple. She likes to use a lot of examples, the homework actually DOES help you study for the test, and there are so many opportunities for points. If you show up and participate, easy A. Book was helpful!

If you get 100 on the homework and pass the quizzes and get C's on the exam you willl get a B The project is super easy! TAKE HER!!!! DO IT!

Dr. Berry is a great professor! Her lectures are straight to the point and makes sure everyone understands. She motivates her students to pursue a certification such as CFE or CPA. She has interesting guest speakers. The exams are straight from lectures and textbook with no surprises. Overall, great course I recommend taking her.

Definitely NOT an easy class but she's has very straightforward lectures, notes, and homework assignments. Test questions are very similar to homework questions. Over all, I would say that in order to pass attend lectures, review slides and homework, and STUDY (a lot).
