I just took her for a minimester and although this class was extremely fast paced she did a great job at going over all of the material. The tests were difficult, the class averages were always low but if you do well on your homework and quizzes you'll be fine. She also raised our lowest test grade at the end of the semester. Take her, she's great!

I really liked the class. She is spunky and sarcastic. The class is difficult no matter what professor you have. She tells you from the beginning that the book work is necessary to do well in the class. I committed a lot of hours to do well but was worth it in the end. if you can't do the work, don't take this class.

Go to her Tutoring sessions. You can easily pass if active in tutoring session!

The class and material is very difficult. Could not of accomplished this semester without Mrs. Carr. Amazing professor.

The class itself is really hard but it's because of her I made an A. The first 3 tests I got an F and 2 C's, but then I started going to her tutoring and I made an A on the 4th test and a 100 on the last test. Don't be discouraged if you struggle with math, i hate math but have never understood it better. Good teacher!!!!

Quite nice teacher with just a hard course in general. This is Business Calculus, so if you are not very good at math, this class is for you. I studied hard and well (considering I took her 8 week course) and got a B+. The class will weigh you down if you don't keep up with the work but she is willing to help and will easily assist with whatever.

Not only is she very effective and smart, she carrs about her students and their success. She should get a raise and paid 3 week vacation to Tahiti with all the extra money from the domain of parking permits sold at this school.

TAKE HER! She genuinely cares about each & every student. This math class is very hard, but she has office hours where you can get one-on-one help and interact with other students in your class. Tests are pretty hard, and attendance is mandatory or you flat out won't pass. She is so smart, she needs to be teaching at Yale or Harvard or something.

Mrs. Carr is my BFF. She is honestly the best math instructor I have ever had. I lived at office hours and I got to know her pretty well. She wants everyone to succeed. This class is extremely difficult and I struggled the whole semester, but she made the class bearable. Her quizzes are take-home and book work is optional. I LOVE THIS PROF SO MUCH.

I LOVE Mrs. Carr! She has amazingly clear lectures. This class is HARD - go to office hours for help and get to know her. My patience was tested because most questions are logic based. DO THE REVIEWS. Tests are tough, but study and you should at least pass them. Watch out for test 1, it's killer! Don't let that discourage you, TAKE THIS PROF!

I'm not a strong math student so tests were very tough for me. Must do your online and book homework to pass tests. If you're not good at math (especially calculus) take her!

The MyLabsPlus homework was pretty easy and she doesn't grade book work, but it is suggested. Got a C in class but an 80 on the final. & She gives reviews(helpful).

Mrs. Carr is by far the BEST teacher I have ever had. I completely bombed the very first test and when I came to her she helped me in every way that she could and gave me advice on how to do better. The tests are hard but if you do the book work and go to her office hours you should be fine. This is the only professor that I will actually miss.

Professor Carr is great! She always stresses the importance of office hours, and many don't see the importance, BUT HER OFFICE HOURS HELP TREMENDOUSLY! She breaks everything down that she doesn't have time for during class, and even tells you which questions from text book homework are "good questions for a test". I would definitely recommend her!

She makes math fun and is a very effective teacher. You will make lots of new friends and hang out at her office all the time doing homework. It's a lot of fun, trust me! The only thing that is not fun and stupid is mylabsplus. Focus on her lectures, the problems she works and listen to want she says. Best prof in the world.

She is an amazing professor. Very funny and very helpful. She teaches everything so everyone can understand, and if you don't, she is always willing to help. She is very understanding and will do as much as she can to work with you. Her office is nearly always open so go there because she will check your quiz and tell you what to fix.

she will help you to understand and stop in the middle of lecture and ask if anyone is lost. if so you need to speak up so she can do the example in a different fashion. I did summer school with her and am now going to fall semester because shes so great. LOVE HER!!!

I took Carr for 1325 because I loved her so much for 1324. She's such a great person and really cares about her students! I personally thought her 1325 was significantly more difficult than her 1324. The exams were pretty tough so go to her office hours and took all of the book work to prepare. I struggled in this course, but luckily I passed!

I personally thought some of the material we learned to be hard (more logic was needed, less algebra), and she was very good at explaining it. However, that doesn't mean I understood what she said most of the time. This math course just sucks in general, and Mrs. Carr does the best she can to help through this.

If the University I attend told me I needed more math, I'd fly back down there to Blinndergarden just to take it with her. An incredible woman. Can't have a bad day in her class or around her office. She has good ratings but if you are not good at math, don't take her class. She chooses the hardest possible way to teach the criteria and puts things on the tests that weren't in the notes.

Mrs. Carr is awesome! She's so helpful and gives you plenty of chances to make a great grade. I'm pretty good at math but not great, and she made me great! I took her 8week 1324-1325 classes and it was the best decision i could have made. She rocks, anyone who says differently is someone who forgot to turn in their quizzes, that you can check!!!

Mrs. Carr is a wonderful teacher! She fully explains how to do everything, and will help you if you don't understand. You must study for her test or you will fail. Quizzes are take home. I highly suggest going into office hours. She puts grades in very quickly, so you are not waiting to see what you got. Would take again!

1324 is not that hard. She explains the course work really well. I started this class off slow and had to work and to get my grade up, but barely missed out on a B in the class. She will help you in Office hours with HW and quizzes. Expect to receive the grade you earned.

Great teacher! Very helpful during her office hours. She taught well, but sometimes can be moody and rude to students. Most of the time she is nice. She exaggerates a lot and her jokes aren't that funny. Good teacher overall! Wish she would wouldn't have bumped my grade up to a 90 tho.

I took her for both math classes and she makes you work for it. I made a C in 1324, but a B in 1325. she will help you out a lot in offices hours but you have to make the effort to show up and work! Took Professor Carr for MATH1350 (Teacher Mathematics I) online. You are assigned three homework assignments a week, have a test about every 3 weeks, and the questions are similar to the homework problems. If you are an education major and looking for an online class take Carr!

GO TO OFFICE HOURS. Tough class overall, especially if you don't like math but Carr makes is as easy as possible but its still hard. Fast paced teacher but covers a ton. Easy take home quizzes, go to office hours for clarification & a 100. Tests are somewhat difficult so do the "suggested bookwork" & do the reviews. Math lab homework are easy 100s

I took AP Calculus in high school and it was very difficult for me. Professor Carr made calculus very easy to understand.

Mrs. Carr was a great math teacher. Go to her Office hours and she will work the take home quizzes with you till you get a 100! She wants you to learn the material. Carr takes time to learn every students name. Participation is very important to her. She will post videos of the lecture online which helped me pass. Great teacher, would take again.

Loved Mrs. Carr, I'm taking her next semester as well. She explains material clearly and is ready and willing to help in office hours if you don't understand something. I took AP Calc in high school so this class was an easy A for me but she explained concepts better than my AP teacher.

Math is my weakness, but Carr showed me that I was capable of actually understanding it! The beginning of the semester is rough for everyone, but please don't let that stop you. Carr provides exceptional resources such as nonmadatory bookwork, recorded lectures, indepth reviews, and a course packet with all of the notes. Please take her if you can.

Made me feel like I was smart and could actually do math again. She's hilarious and talks to us on our level; it doesn't feel like she's a prof. She explained the material really well and is always willing to help. Tests weren't too hard and are in 2 parts: short answer and multiple choice. There are multiple quizzes and homework for each unit.

For a person that tends to be weak in math, Prof Carr made math a lot easier and more "fun". As long as you do the optional homework and MML, you should do fine! Go to her office hours for 100s on take home quizzes. I learned so much from her in how the math applied to life. She comes off sassy and intimidating but don't let that scare you!

Fabulous remedial math teacher. She tries to communicate to your 1324 teacher to correlate her lessons with what we are learning in class. I struggle in math and she explains everything slowly and in depth. Also super caring and understanding lady! Highly recommend Mrs. Carr !

I took this as a Summer I (4 week class) Loved!! Her lecture videos are so helpful!! Lots of homework so be prepared to work 3-5 assignments daily! Notes are required but she gives a packet to follow along with! Overall really good class!!!

I can not say enough good things about professor Carr!! As a professor she wants all of her students to succeed in and out of her classroom. The best advice I can give is to take what she says very literal, show up to get help during her office hours, and do the MathLabs.

Professor Carr knows her stuff, but her teaching style can be hit-or-miss. Attend office hours, use the free textbook, and try Unstuckstudy for extra practice - it really helps fill in the gaps.

Overrall Ms Carr is a good teacher. She does care if you understand or not. She does not care about your grade though. Tough grader but all of the reviews are like the test. She also has an attitude but she is relatable. Also she chews gum alot so if that bothers you be aware because it is constant. You get 0 daily grade for each class you miss.
