In my entire career as a student this is the worst teacher ive ever had. she grades extremely hard, puts students on the spot, has boring lectures (in which she makes many mistakes), very confusing, cannot answer questions clearly, gives alot of homework and research assignments. avoid at all costs!
Very boring class lectures. A lot of research assignments, but plenty of opportunity for extra credit. I dont recommend this teacher unless you are very motivated
I've liked other econ teachers, not her.For some reason I felt like she treated everyone like elementary school children. Very dull class. When I had a question I had to figure it out on my own, because she would not explain clearly. One of those teachers that sees you as only a number on her list.
Only take this teacher if you are a motivated and responsible student. As long as you read the chapters the night before you'll understand the lectures. Gives plenty of time for research project and a lot of extra credit.
I don't understand why everyone on this website is so critical. Ms. Arnold was very helpful with any questions that I had. She does expect your full attention and cooperation in class so expect to work hard! She will definitly give you any extra attention if you need it.

Very difficult teacher. She wasn't helpful, and never reviewed what to expect on the exams- she just said read the book! She knew what she was talking about, but was so unhelpful and somewhat unapproachable. I definately would not take this teacher.
Good explanation on homework and projects. Lessons easy and clear. I thought this was a great class.
I liked her. The class was well organized so I knew what to expect. There was in class work - good to make sure we understood. Lots of extra credit possible, too.
very ctrict, but good professor
I thought this was the best teacher I've had at any school I've been to, including UC Davis. She explains things really well and makes sure everyone understands. The guy below is right - things need stapled. Big deal.
yeah, there was extra credit if you were willing to do it, but during our semester after the 1st test she said that all tests would be similiar set-up to the 1st one and the 2nd test was totally different, and she has a very harsh attitude sometimes treating you childish. if you do the homework, read the book, take notes you might getby with a "c"
Good job and really sweet person.
Small class was really good. Lots of discussion of current events ineresting. I learned more than I thought I would.
This teacher is one of the best I've ever had. I took her for both Micro and Macro and got an A in both. If you do the homework, pay attention, do the newspaper articles, etc. You'll do fine. You can't slack in this class. You have to actually do the work! Ms. Arnold is awesome! She actually teaches and uses outside (real world) events to demonstrate topics. She goes out of her way to help you and always keeps her office hours to address your questions. She's also open to new ideas / teaching strategies.
She is a good, but tough instructor who expects maximum effort from her students. I had difficulty with Economics, so she referred me to an outstanding private tutor who worked with me on a weekly basis. By seeing him consistently and taking advantage of Professor Arnold's office hours, I was able to get a B in both classes.

Going to class only once a week was pretty cool. Also no tests - only quizzes. And we took them until we passed. Good class.
i really learned alot in this class. The internet stuff was easier than i thought it would be. The teacher helped us alot when we didn't understand.
I liked this teacher a lot and hybrid format worked well for me. You could turn in assignments over and over until you got them right - a guaranteed A!
Take her class! She's a really awesome teacher - makes it the most interesting class i've had - i didn't think i'd like econ before taking her.
Awesome teacher! easy to get a good grade - lots of second chances!
She is a really good teacher and mostly she seems really interested in all of her students. She's easy to get a hold of - emails back almost right away. Other teachers take a couple of days. The webct stuff is good too.
i like her - the only thing i don't like is that when you're sleeping she wakes you up and some of us have night jobs. But she's good except for that.
This teacher should not be teaching. She was out of class for a month when she should have assigned the class to a new professor, and when asked why she can't show up to class she said, "This isn't burger king you can't have it your way" hmmm...
She is very giving and helpful. We had a lot of whiners in the class who expected to be handed grades. She is fair and gives you extra credit! As long as you keep up with the reading and do the homework, easy class! I learned a lot!
Professor Arnold is a very good and helpful teacher. As onlg as you do your part in her class she is more than willing to help you succeed. I loved this class and it is the first Economics class I have taken and learned something. I would take her again if I could!!!
She's perhaps one of the most incompetent teachers the SDCCD has to offer. She doesn't give a hoot about her students. She's offensive. She's decently smart, but she can't convey any of that information to her students which renders her useless. She is one of the teachers that I can't recommend at all! Avoid her like a plague! Beware or be sorry!
Excessive amount of homework.
I can't even rate this prof...She came for a few classes and that was it. Don't take her class is you expect a professor to be there. Our professor who stepped in was a boss though.
This teacher was pretty good in the beginning. I learned a lot with the PowerPoint and her lectures. Then all of a sudden she disappeared!!! Do not take if you want a stable class! She left us with endless subs after subs. People expect the prof to be there when they sign up for a class!
Teacher was great made the class very interesting and fun. She is a must take for Econ.
Extremely demanding. I don't recommend this teacher. Seems careless about helping students.
This teacher does not care about students.... I love classes and I dont mind when the calsses are hard, but this teacher is very unfair when grading and veru rude... she can careless about students...
I learned a lot from her econ classes. I thought she kept the material interesting and understanding for the students. Only problem I have is that she is annal about everything, she marks off points for even the smallest and silliest mistakes on homework assignments. Also takes off points if you come late to class.
Took her class, didn't know it was an honors class, her class was helpful she provided the material needed in class. HW and quizes are weekly. Not an easy class if you aren't willing to do the work. If you do everything you'll be good, got an A even though I got a C on the Final.
I worked hardest in her class this semester, because you absolutely need to pre-read chapters b/c you never know when there will be a quiz. I learned so much in her class though, and I am taking her class for 121 also. Her tests are based on homework she gives so everyone should pass them. It is not an easy A, but I really enjoyed her class a lot!!
Great Teach. I RECOMMEND. Took her online ECON120 & 121. A in both. *2 get A, take weekly multi-choice exam, respond 2 interesting real-life discussions, write occasional short paper, do extra credit (tons offered), DO NOT write txt msg style u r n college* She provides great tutorials. Have problem? Responds very quickly to e-mail. Fair work load.
Shes great empathic and benevolent. She might even pay out of pocket for the course reserve. Being able to cooperate is essential
My first day in this class made me not even want to take her class anymore! She's extremely straight forward, often in a very rude way. I do not recommend her class.
I really enjoyed this online class. I learned soo much, she provided assignments that were current and relevant, extra credit opportunities, turn in drafts by 9am before they are due and you can boost your grade, guided tutorials, etc. I like it soo much that I am taking her online class for Econ II this summer. Only problem was Aplia's fault.
Very picky on written assignments on how you write them. The work load is not overload but a decent amount. She is helpful if you ask online. I would recommend taking this online class.
I took her for online. easy - easy - easy. She said 2/3 of class gets A or B - I believe it - she's nice too
She was my online teacher for both macro and micro. i found the classes easy and interesting. she helps a lot. i tried to post this before - it disappeared.
I had her for online and recommend her. Lots of real world stuff which I liked. It's easy to do well because the final questions are the same as the quizzes and there is extra credit every week. She answers questions right away too and you can find what is due easy cause its all in one place.
She is good and very friendly. I took her class and got easy A. She only tests what she taught in class. Homework and assignments are not that hard, you can find answers and example in the textbook. If you are not sure about it, just email and ask her. Recommend for serious learner only. I like how she teaches in class. You have 4 tests and 8 homework and a lot of chances to get extra credit.
I took 2 classes and got A both times. It was good for me because I am an exchange student and she didn't care when my english wasn't exactly correct. And I emailed her with questions and she answered quick.
Took her online class. A really easy A and I also learned more than I thought I would - nice lady to talk to and you can submit things ahead of time that she'll look over.
I recommend her. Lectures were interesting, final was take home and we could turn it in lots of times. Talked a lot about what is going on in the economy - which I really wanted to know!
Online class: Reuses old Tutorial Lesson videos. Then says "Depending on which book you are using, it may be listed as this or this" Super unclear on how it is going to be on tests Book homework is totally different than tests. Discussion Assignments are poorly structured on a first come first served basis If your term gets used b4 you she gives 0
This class would have been a lot better if it had a better structure. The way she wants online assignments posted and reviewed by other students is not a good system and can lead to you losing points, even when you shouldn't. Also, she only allows you to take tests online on Saturdays which is really inconvenient for those of us with weekend jobs.
She does not have a good structure for turning in assignments. When it's submitted incorrectly, you lose points which is obviously frustrating when you do the assignment correctly and put effort in your work.
Great professor! friendly and helpful. Class had homework that you got 100% just for doing it. There were a few assignments and thats what she helped a lot on. I sent them to her ahead of time and she fixed them so I got A's. one test is dropped. You have to keep up with it but if you do it's really easy to get an A.
Awesome class! Best teacher at mesa!! Super Interesting and meets only ne time a week. Have to do your homework though - thats the only downside.
I was surprised at how much i enjoyed this class because I was dreading ti. But the professor is really nice, theclass was really interesting, and it as easy to do well if you do the homework because you get full credit just for doing it. Our class only met once a week which was really helpful to my schedule because I work.
interesting class and helpful teacher. Recommend.
Very broad class. Maybe Economics is just beyond me, but I was expecting a basic economics course that I could pass with at least a C. I stayed up to date with the quizzes and did the necessary studying. It just didn't seem good enough. The tests were vague as well.
The main problem I had with the course was that the tests were open ended and the book seemed irrelevant. I keenly read and did not seem to break through when I was correctly applying the principles. She often threw curveballs and many people ended up failing.
Professor Arnold is very interesting and engaging, but is apt to get bogged down with details. I agree its more than just a basic economics course.
This grading system presents a paradox, at first the assignments seem easily accomplished but when the grade comes back, it didn't meet her standards. It seems like psychology would be a better fit for her because her approach was qualitative rather than quantitative.
Bestonline teacher I ever had! Really helpful - and she has lectures posted of all the chaqpters. Each month an assignment and test and I sent her the assignmnent anead of time to check so if you do that you always do well. Homework has full points just for finishing. I think our whole class got an A! (not really but a lot of us)
AWESOME TEACHER!
I'm not quite sure why so many people are complaining about her. Tests aren't easy, but if you go to class, read the book & do the HW, you'll get an easy A. I found the class very interesting and learned A LOT. She does expect you to interact in class discussions. If completed, the amt of EC she offers makes it nearly impossible to do poorly.
The amount of time put into doing the assignments as instructed and showing up early taking detailed notes during class did not produce a satisfactory grade.
Not passing this course did a number on my ability to meet major prerequisites. Not very happy with what comes after graduation.
Would make a much better online professor as no one participates in class and tends to pick people at random which nobody likes.
It seemed like I was going to pass with a B- but after the final I ended up with a C-. Maybe I'll have better luck next time I take it. Just not with her.
There was one question that stood out on her test because it seem more like a survey than an economic question. It was a normative position on health care. This class was really ambiguous. Learned exactly zilch. Maybe she'd have better luck as a psychology professor.
Professor Arnold is a GREAT TEACHER! I took her online. The class is well ogranized! She works with you if you are having trouble - you can just send everything to her ahead of time. HELPFUL! THE BEST!
I don't know the right ISBN so hopefully this will post. I do't usually post but her class was SO GOOD AND INTERESTING I actually changed majors! So much more organizxed than other online classes, and she answers questions right away and it's just really interesting.
GREAT CLASS. Mostly I liked the online lectures to listen to so you don't have to just go by the book. She's an awesome person too.- I emailed and talked to her whenever I got confused. Lowest scores are dropped which is good as I blew it at the beginnig. I tried to post before so hopefully this isn't a repeat.
Highly recommend. Just stay with the weekly homework and you'll get an A. She drops four low scores and will check any assignments before they are due. I took her for both 120 and 121.
Agree with the person before. If you have to take Econ take her class! You get full credit for the homework just by doing it. Also - it was pretty interesting.
Much better class the second time around
She is modern enough to use current technology, but it kind of seems like a crutch toward her inability to lead and instruct the class.
EXCELLENT CLASS Professor really knows her stuff and teaches really well. i wasn't at all interested before and taking this class made me decide to change my major.
Recommend this professor. Here tests are straightforward and off stuff from class; you do have to study though but if you do you'll do get a good grade
I recommend her. She made it very interesting and if you keep up its easy to get a good grade. Class had homeowrk, assignments and tests. Assignments you get two tries for, and also a test and assignment are dropped. Good instructor.
Do the work and it's an easy A/B, drops multiple assignments.
Good teacher. About 1/3 tests, homework and assignments. Online lectures which help a lot. Answers emails quicly. If you stay up with it your almost guaranteed an A.
Very good teacher.
REALLY WELL DONE CLASS Tests, assignment, homework - the basics. But she lays things out really clearly and has tutorials to help.
Easy Hw, got a 100%. For the test i found some online. If you find the test difficult, I would recommend "hiring a tutor to help you 'study' for the next exam"
I took her class online this semester. Overall the class was easy and any student should be able to get at least a B in the class. There are 4 assignments(1 dropped). 3 tests(1 dropped) and 1 cumulative final. There are weekly homework and everyone gets full credit.
I don't recommend taking her. If I were you, I won't take this class.
Would take again. She answers emails quickly - gives a lot of help if you ask. Tests, homework, discussions.
I liked her and the class. Good feedback and will answer emails right away and look over your work ahead of time. Nice person
Great teacher. This was my favorite class. She made tutorials - helped a lot. I actually look forward to it.
Her lecture style was somewhat condescending. I don't feel the effort I put into reading and learning the concepts were recognized by her.
Shes really nice and a good teacher, makes you feel ok when you ask questions (I asked a lot) and she wants you to ask. Lectures interesting and funny. She respects the students. If you study for the tests they are pretty easy, but you do have to study.
Shes an awesome teacher! She gives 4 tests and drops the lowest one . The homework is online and you have more than one chance. Before I didn't like economics and now it's one of my favorite subjects!
A good class! She makes students feel smart, not dumb. I just feel like I leaned a lot about what's going on in our economy. Had to study but it wasn't overboard - . Very nice person.
Professor Arnold is very good and I would take her again. The requirements are straightforward and there is a lot of extra credit. She gets back right away if you have questions. Its easy to do well if you schedule a few hours each week for study.
She seems nice, but she is a tough grader. Do not bother participating as she will critique your input.
Really good classes. She doesn't just lecture - she really teaches. I had her online and on campus and both were great! In online she doesn't just depend on the book but has her own mini-lessons to explain it better.
She makes the class really relevant - things that apply to everyday life. She takes as much time as needed to explain things if you contact her and she will go over assignments as many times as you send them to her so I got very good grades that way. I recommend her.
Not sure how honors differs from her regular Econ 120 classes, but I found that she got irritated if we didn't know what she was talking about. Pop quizzes were considered difficult by me and my peers who did the required work. Really knows her stuff, but intimidating. Better pay attention in case you get called on, expects you to know your stuff.
Quizzes, assignments and tests. I found it an easy class to get an A in. I was willing to work though. It helps that you get two tries for everything- even the final!!
Tests and quizzes are based on her supplemental online lectures. Just like with any class, do your reading, watch the lectures, and take notes before class, study, come prepared, and you'll get an A. Students will complain about their grades but they don't put in the time to earn it. Instead they try to negotiate and lose. Arnold is great.
Highly, highly, highly recommend! I was intimidated because I've never taken an online class before but it was really well organized and there are two tries for almost everything. I learned a lot more than I thought I would and I wasn't hardly ever overwhelmed. You have to study though. Guess that's typical.
Would take her again - in fact I am taking her again. For online she's awesome! Information is clear, easy to get a hold of. Just take a few hours to be sure you study the chapter before the quizzes and tests and you'll get an A.
I wouldn't have had the same success in this class had I taken it with a different Professor. Professor Arnold responds promptly to emails, is very active in the class and gives many extra credit opportunities. The online homework is optional, but it does help with the quizzes to do it. Her assignments are a little tough but she grades fairly.
She's a really good teacher because she really wants you to pass! So she does things like help you with your assignments ahead of time over and over (and over... :) which helped me a lot. And she gives a whole grade worth of extra credit, and two tries on every quiz. But you do have to study of course.
I thought she was one of the best teachers at I've had. Clear , easy to do well, interesting assignments. Want us all to pass!
Honestly, she's great, but wasn't for me. She's very clear about what she expects, and is prompt to answer any questions. Wants you to pass. I just couldn't do too well in her class because of her grading method. Nothing against her, it's just a bit tricky when one error can cost me heavy. Only 2 tests, drops lowest 2 quizzes, 2 attempts.
Took online. Offer's extra credit, each quiz/test can be taken twice. 1/4 homeworks dropped. 2 lowest quizzes dropped. Expect a fair amount of reading in this class to do a good job on the assignments. Other than that, the class is pretty easy and the teacher is helpful. You can email her rough drafts of homework b4 they are due to get more help.
The textbook is a must but not the access code. There is only a midterm and a final but there is a quiz every monday. She does not give out a lot of extra credit which is unfortunate and there is homework due every monday. There is one partner presentation and she seems to love group work. Will help you if you ask for it and is approachable.
Professor Arnold is an excellent professor. She wants you to pass and she really cares for her students. I recommend you do all the homework and you watch the tutorials. I highly recommend her if you're taking economics. She's interesting and a funny person.
This was a Pearson online class which is mostly the same format for other subjects. She gives 4 projects, 3 early on in the semester. She has lots of opportunity for extra credit. She is a stickler for grammar, punctuation, and spelling and takes that into account when grading. This class is easy if you do all the work and put a real effort forth.
I love professor Arnold! This was my second time taking her. I did econ 120 & 121 with her because I really loved her structure. Weekly quizzes, a midterm and cumulative final, and 3 assignments. You can submit assignments early to her for feedback. She offers very little EC and is super picky about grammar. She's still fantastic and sweet.
Class was weekly quizzes (off Pearson), four big assignments and the midterm/final. The quizzes are difficult because they're only 5 questions so miss one and you're already at an 80%. Assignments are not too difficult, but you got to put some effort. Midterm and final are off the book material. Study and you'll pass. Grammar matters in discussions
Not very effective. Uses supplemental material not found in textbook. Grades on it too.
Prof Arnold was okay. Not too much of an overwhelming class. 4 assignments the lowest gets dropped. Quizzes every week the lowest two get dropped. This was my first online class and she was understanding when I submitted an assignment in the wrong format. You can submit your assignments to her early to make sure you get the best grade possible.
Professor Arnold was the reason I chose to major in Economics. Her courses were thought-provoking and challenging. She's a tough grader but it's because she expects college-level work. She always inspired me to do my best and was happy to humor me by listening to my ideas both during office hours and on e-mail. Great professor!
Do not take 120, especially honors. Expect an overwhelming amount of extremely dry material from the textbook as well as from a paperback book that wont teach you anything other than the history behind economics. Weekly quizzes both on class material and the book that are vague and quite difficult. You must study every day study or you willnot pass
Super inspiring!!! - material really interesting - enough that I'm going to change my major :) Easy to do well, but you do need to keep up with it.
Very tough grader. She offers as little support as possible after class or in office hours.
Great teacher! Interesting and makes class requirements really clear, will help anyone who asks. Do the work and youll get an A.
Good lectures, but insane grader. It was my lowest grade of the semester. Also, very liberal but give conservative student a chance to share their opinions.
the lectures are boring and the class is based alot on 5 question quizzes. there are much better economics teachers.
Not helpful after class.
Prof. Arnold is awesome - and the most caring teach I've ever had. Straighforward class - study and you'll get an A.
For online she's the best! Organized, helpful, can't think of anything wrong with the class - except its econ :)
Econ is hard itself and if you don't follow her lectures then it will make your life blown up like the fourth of July. The only good part of her is that if you don't understand her lectures you can go to blackboard to watch her tutorials. Other than that you HAVE to study to do well in her class
Rebecca Arnold is awesome! I am currently in her Economics class and she is a great teacher. She will talk with you online every week if you want - gives good feedback and really cares about you. 100%!
Nice teacher, but gives very little breathing room. Entire class based on tests and weekly quizzes. Those weekly quizzes are so random that you have to understand everything covered in the previous week to get a 5/5. Unfortunately she is not very good at explaining either, luckily there are tutorials. Taking her is your choice, but there are better
Best teacher ever! If you need help outside of class she's the best! I saw her online every week and if you talk to her about the assignments first it's super easy to do well. NIce, nice, nice person!
Prof. Arnold is a very nice woman and is accessible for help, however in order to do well you need to work for it. You need to put in a lot of time preparing for the weekly quizzes and assignments. She takes off points for grammar and punctuation errors. The tests are really hard, and if you don't do well on the tests it knocks your grade down.
Really there for you - can reach her most days - helps a lot if you are having trouble. Very nice person. You have weekly homework and two tests and some assignments.
Not very prepared for lecture. Didn't learn much although I read the textbook. Take another professor
Best professor! Talks online if you don't want to come to campus. Answers emails right away. Assignments interesting. For all the online classes I've taken she is by far the best!
Very interesting class. The best! She makes the class really interesting - lots of information about going on in the news, lectures not too hard and organized clearly. Has extra study materials.
If you want an A in this class you are going to have to work for it. There are weekly quizzes, 3 assignments, 2 major tests(midterm/final). The quizzes and test take up the majority of your grade, although she does drop the lowest 2 quiz scores. I slacked off in her class a lot, but did really well on the midterm and final which helped me pass.
This was an easy class to do well in. The homework is full credit for finishing and other assignments you can submit ahead of time for her to look over. Nice teacher.
Economics not your thing? Don't take this prof. I'm sure she means well, but I find it hard to learn from her. There are a LOT of requirements to pass this class above a C. Many weeks there are two chapters to read and test on, plus forum posts, assignments etc. Assignment feedback is not very helpful. No extra credit.
Good professor. Very professional and very fair. Gives lots of real world examples. I felt like I was learning something important. Four tests and one is dropped. Two assignments.
She is very unprofessional. You will have to learn by yourself, dont expect any help from her. Het tutorials are very poor. Poor feedbacks as well. Im very disappointed.
Professor is outstanding. Easy to reach for questions and she will go over something again and again. Weekly homework and some assignments
If the work is due at 11:59 PM and you submit at 3-4am for some reason, she is not merciful, you will get 0. Everything has to be done well throughout the course in order to get and maintain A.
Not many pts available for your total grade. Have to score exceptionally high on the only 2 tests offered in order to pass and they are timed so you are busy focused on the timer. Very critical on assignments w/ no positive feedback. Does not give clear understanding of what is needed for assignments. Only plus - get to drop one assignment.
Good class - really clear what's needed. Homework guarantees full credit if you finish it. Assignments you get two chances. Practice tests. So a bunch of stuff to help if you use it. I found it good.
Terrible professor! Taking her class now and I am counting down the days until it is finsihed. Absolutely no points for the class so you bascially are guranteed a B in the class if you do poorly on anything. Her questions on the exams are things that have nothing you will ever need in real life econmics.
well organized class and super nice professor. you have to do the work but lots of chances and practice. easy to talk to and cares a lot
I learned a lot and for an online class there was a lot of help if you want to talk to her, and low scores were dropped.. Tests, homework, assignments. Homework and assignments dropped.
A super interesting class! with lots of class discussion. Also quizzes and a midterm and final and paper. Talked about how to solve environmental problems - nice teacher.
GREAT professor! Everything about the class is clear. You can turn in assignments ahead of time and she will look it over -which I did. Homework you are guaranteed full credit if you finish. Just be sure to make time to study for the tests .
I really like how she teaches the class. Homework, 2 tests, 3 assignments - one gets dropped. She arranges it best of online classes I've had. I don't live anywhere near so never needing to go to campus was great!
Out of all my classes this past semester this class was the absolute worst. By far the most annoying. There were tons of writing pieces and because I am not the best writer this class gave me a lot of strife. What saved me were the automated test. She graded very harsh even after I brought the papers into writing workshops. P.S. no extra credit!
RECOMMEND for online - class was SUPER CLEAR and easy to follow because everything was all in one place - I just worked down the list every week. Points for homework and two tests and three exercises, and also post news articles a few times. She dropped the lowest grades and also I worked ahead which helped.
She was a really great professor. I took her class online but I very much felt her presence. She grades fairly and is very clear about what she is looking for. Her videos are great supplements to the text. She is really great about answering the questions you have and giving feedback. You can for sure get an A if you just read the text.
I took Professor Arnold's online course and it's the only class I've EVER received a B in. She has a really specific way she wants you to submit assignments & write, but is really bad at explaining it. I was marked down on assignments for stuff she didn't even have written in the instructions. I wish i never took her class tbh
This was an easy A for me. Everything is written so its clear and she answered my qustions quite quickly. Advice is to work ahead of time so you can fix anything you did wrong. She lets you do that on most work and so that's why it was easy to get an A.
If you're wanting to hone your study and learning skills, as well as LEARN about Macroeconomics, this is the class to take. You'll have to earn your grade in this class but it'll be well worth it once you do as you will have foundational understanding of Macroeconomics as well as some political and geographical familiarity. Pick her brains and try!
Perfect class for me because both topics are super interesting to me. Quizzes, tests, a paper. Teacher helps a lot and you can talk to her anytime.
Weekly quizzes, a midterm, a final, a small group project, and a research project done in groups. Homeworks have been easy but just like with the quizzes, she is a tough grader and very specific on format. She offers little extra credit too. As for supplies, we used the book once and I only brought in a notebook. The topics are interesting though!
VEry helpful professor. Keep in touch with her and up with the work and you will do well.
Took her class online during intersession. Economic news review due every week, super unclear on the grading criteria so mine were a hit or miss. The podcast she assigned was a plus, very interesting. It was the only interesting assignment during the whole class. Had to take midterm and final in a 3h time window, between 6pm and 9pm.
Good professor who understands the subject material and does a great job of setting you up for success. There are plenty of opportunities for extra credit so there's no excuse not to pass.
