It's not the worst but not the best
Nice professor but lectures are long and boring, tests can be difficult. No curving or extra credit.
Dr. Creasy is really nice; however her lectures are long and kind of boring. The tests are more difficult than expected. While showing up to class is not super important content wise there are clicker questions most class periods.
I love Rebecca! Such a helpful person that seems genuinely interested in your well-being and grade. Always willing to help and makes the information very clear. The class isn't the easiest, but it is very interesting and you will learn a lot. STUDY for the tests and don't wait last minute on the projects.
She is the sweetest lady! But her lectures are super boring, so I tend to zone out super fast. Go to her office hours, she's willing to be helpful. Her tests are way harder than the level she lectures at though.
Super sweet lady... tests are hard but she's more than willing to help! Id recommend her!
Super sweet and fun lady! Her tests are a lot tougher than what she lectures. I took three years of nutrition in high school and I struggled in this class. But plenty of cushion with other grades she gives!
Dr. Creasy is so sweet and her class is easy! If you read the book and study the notes you take in class (which are fill in the blank), making an A is certainly possible! Her tests are identical to her notes, you just have to have a very good memory. The project was really easy and boosted everyone's grade. Overall, I recommend taking Dr. Creasy!
lectures are boring because she reads directly off the powerpoint, tests are much harder than the level she lectures at, but the class itself isn't too bad. Study for the test and read the book. The project is super easy, and a great grade booster.
Really sweet, but tests are kind of hard. The easiest part of the tests are the essay portions because they're straight from the notes. If you study you should make at least a high C or B. The project is super easy and boosts your grade, plus after you get the mandatory 25 points for iclicker questions, all the other points count as extra credit.
Class isn't mandatory, but she uses 25 required clicker question points; any points above 25 are bonus. Lectures are long and boring, but information is very interesting (Nutrition is my minor). Her tests are very difficult compared to her lectures/study guides. The project is a big grade booster. Follow the directions and it's an easy 100. STUDY!
test are pretty tough, you have to go to class and study lectures
Really difficult to pay attention in class, lectures are very boring and long. The tests are super hard, and she doesn't really give you much help when you ask her questions... This is not an blowoff class.
She's a very sweet lady and is very helpful in her office hours. The tests are hard but doable! The projects really helps boost your grade. Go to class and get all the clocker questions + the bonus! It curved me to an A!
Dr. Creasy is a wonderful, sweet woman. With that being said, her tests are tough. She gives you a study guide for each test but you still have to go to class to get the notes and clicker points for that day. Ask questions, she really wants to help you. Office hours are a must to do well in this class and the big project is easy. NOT an easy class.
Really difficult class due to the amount of information that has to be understood, but she does her best to give you the most points possible on her grading rubric and is really sweet if you talk to her. The Diet Analysis project could save your grade. Go to class everyday and take very good notes and the test will still be really hard. Good luck
The class is hard. There is a lot of info required and she only taught on the surface level of the material in class. Lectures were fill in the blank slides from the powerpoints. You're expected to know more on the test. WIth that being said, she had lots of 'give me' points that boost your grade significantly. Takes forever to respond to emails!
I really like Dr. Creasy. She always comes to class with a great attitude & keeps class interesting. Her tests are not hard, I've made a high B and a low A on each of her tests so far, I just went over the pp and read the chapters in the book. She gives a project due mid-semster and its super easy to make an A on it. Definitely recommend.
Creasy is very straight-forwarded about what she expects out of this class. She provides power-point notes that go along with her lectures but you have to attend class to fill in the blanks and get iClicker points. Tests are somewhat tricky but as long as you study the objectives for each chapter and do some flashcard studying, you should be fine.
As long as you go to class and study the night before you should make an A
Dr. Creasy is one of my all time favorite professors at Texas A&M. She wants you to succeed and goes out of her way in order for you to do so. I highly recommend spending time in her office hours to review what you missed on the exams and how to improve. She provides exam study guides and there is a project within the course that's an easy 100.
Dr. Creasy is one of my favorite teachers at TAMU. She is so funny and caring! Go talk to her in office hours because she is extremely helpful and actually wants to get to know you. You definitely need to study and go to class to fill in the notes. But she gives study guides and the diet analysis project is a great grade booster. Interesting class
Great Professor!!! My favorite at TAMU! Helpful and understanding. Go to class to get a good grade. Test are tough, but pretty much follow the lectures. I would take this professor again and recommend if her if you have to take Nutrition.
Dr. Creasy is a very interesting, knowledgeable professor. She's pretty funny in class and she definitely knows her stuff. She gives excellent study guides for the test. Very easy to get an A in the class.
She posts lectures online, so I rarely went to class. Exams follow lectures but are not that easy. She gives bonus points for in class participation. There's one project that is a big grade booster if you do it correctly. Lectures went from start to end of class and weren't all that interesting, but Dr. Creasy is very nice and helpful!
I LOVED this professor and was super easy! Just show up to class, fill in her power point notes during class and just study those and you will make an A. There is a dietary report at the end but if you follow directions precisely you should get an easy 100 as a test grade. Her reviews are almost exactly like the test. My lowest test grade was a 92.
I absolutely LOVED this professor. Her class was very straight forward, and she tries to keep it fun. You must go to class to get quiz and participation points. Simply complete and study the exam reviews she gives out, and you'll get an A. Grades include four exams, a diet analysis project, and the quiz/participation.
I took NUTR 202 with Dr. Creasy and loved it. I had it as a TTR class, so the lectures were long and dull. The class can be fun if you care about the subject like I did. I made A's on every test by outlining the text (most people don't do this) and cross referencing that with her powerpoint. She is always there to help via email. Cumulative final
Dr. Creasy has been one of my favorite professors. If you want a good prof to get to know its her, so sit on the front row. Use office hours to look at your test because the final will recycle questions. Go to class, fill in the notes yourself, and study HARD for the tests, its definitely not an easy A. She does extra credit for people show up.
TAKE THIS PROF. She's so nice and wants you to understand. Sometimes lectures go by really slowly, but definitely go because it's the only way to fill in the notes she gives you. There's also so much extra credit given by answering i clicker questions in class. Tests are so easy. I made flashcards from the notes and easily made As.
All tests were multiple choice. Dr Creasy spoonfeeds you test questions through the learning objectives she provides at the beginning of each presentation. iClickr or group activity about every other day. In total, these assignments make up half a test grade, so show up to class. Diet Analysis project worth 100 points and is an easy A.
Dr. Creasy is adorable and so passionate about nutrition! It's important to show up and be alert in class. It's fill in the blank powerpoint notes and she tries to make it fun. The tests are harder than I expected, but there's attendance points/quizzes and a project that brought my grade up to an A!
Dr. Creasy is hands down the best professor at A&M. She is kind, caring, sweet as can be, and a wonderful teacher. Her class consists of 3 exams, a final, and an easy project. Study her powerpoints and test reviews THOROUGHLY and you'll get an A. And go talk to her during office hours. SHE IS SO NICE. Love this teacher. TAKE HER
She is a a really great prof, very nice and tries to make the material as interesting as she can. Fill in the blank notes so go to class or make friends to get the notes. Lectures can get a little boring sometimes. Her tests can cover alot of info but she gives reviews.
I took Dr. Creasy this semester and absolutely loved her! Most of the time she lets class out around 15 min early. She is a good lecturer and gives good study material along with test reviews for each exam. She is very helpful and extremely caring towards her students. Attendance isn't mandatory, however she often does iclicker questions.
Dr. Creasy is easily one of the sweetest professors that I have had. The class itself has quite a bit of information, but an A is really doable considering all the freebies she gives out. Utilize her office hours, go to class, fill out the notes, and complete/study the study guides she gives for each test and you'll get an A.
Dr. Creasy is so nice and and cares so much about her students. Attendance isn't mandatory but will have clicker questions that add up a lot of extra credit. Tests aren't too bad but know that the study guides don't cover everything that will be on them!! One big project that's an easy A as long as you follow directions. Take her!!
Dr. Creasy was one of my favorite professors. Her tests need comprehension of the material to do well, but it is information that is retained for the rest of the semester. Three tests, a final, and a project, with I-clicker questions were components of the final grade. So glad I took her class because I have a new approach to food and appreciation.
Dr. Creasy is amazing. This class was very enjoyable to go to, and not difficult. She gives good study guides, so as long as you do those and read the book there's no reason you wont get an A. She tries to make lectures as enjoyable as possible and actually cares about her students. Take her!!
Go. To. Class. Take ALL the notes! Study hard for tests, and you can get an A. She is super sweet, and loves hearing from her students outside of class. Not an "Easy A", but just go to class and study and you'll learn a lot, have fun, and get a good grade. I love Dr. Creasy, and really enjoyed the class.
Dr. Creasy is one of the best profs at TAMU. She is a great teacher, cares about her students, and willingly offers help outside of class. Lecture is mandatory (but always interesting!). Go to class, take notes, and study from her study guide and you will do great. Would highly recommend her as a professor.
She is the sweetest lady you could ever get as a professor. Her door is almost always open for questions, and she will go over topics more in depth if needed. Class was canceled a handful of times during the semester. She loves what she teaches and makes learning the material more enjoyable. If you have questions on test she will reword it for you.
She is super sweet. The book is the same as the powerpoint slides, so you just need one or the other to pass exam. Also she gives a review before exams! She really seems to care that you make a great grade in her class.
I loved Dr. Creasy! She was very passionate and knowledgable, making the class entertaining. The tests are pretty difficult, but she does give a study guide. Very sweet if you go to office hours and talk to her about tests. I went before the final, and she ended up giving me a curve, so definitely go talk to her if you're worried about your grades.
She is seriously so passionate about her students and really wants them to do well. At the end of the year she offers extra credit that will boost your overall grade by about 5 points if you complete it to her expectations, which she gives to you in a rubric. She really wants to help you out so she's always available to email or meet with you.
Creasy genuinely cares that you do well in her class. Very accessible outside of class. She gives test reviews before her exams that are similar to the content on the exam. Her notes are fill in the blank so you actually have to go to class, but the content is very interesting! She's an incredible prof and I'd love to take her again. TAKE HER!!
Dr. Creasy is a great prof & wants her students to pass, her notes are fill in the blank, her test arent hard if you study for 2 hours the night before the exam, her final is optional, she gives 5% easy extra credit, she has office hours, is cool with talking after class, answers any questions during class and shes really nice and approachable
The best professor ever! Take her if you can! Tests are not bad at all if you go to class and read her power points. Extra credit helped a lot. I would recommend seeing her before tests, she is very helpful. No book is needed in order to get an A.
Rebecca Creasy genuinely cares about her students. The class isn't too difficult as the notes are fill in the blank. Attendance isn't mandatory but she has iclicker questions that add points to your grade. Offers A TON of extra credit, and the final is optional. READ THE SLIDES for exams along with review!! I would definitely take her again!!!
Dr. Creasy is literally so sweet! you can tell she really cares about her students! Attendance isn't mandatory but notes are fill in the blank so unless you have a friend in the class then i recommend going to class. The exams are pretty easy as long as you study the notes! She gives a ton of extra credit! Take her, you'll love her!
This class was pretty easy -- three exams and an optional final. I usually crammed the night before and a few hours before the exam and still got the grade I wanted. However, her exams are quite specific on certain questions but also a lot of easy questions as well. Take her, go to class, take notes, participate in iClicker and you'll get an A.
Straight up one of my favorite professors at TAMU. She is so kind and sweet and sooooo helpful. The class is pretty straight forward. DO all of the extra credit!!! You will not regret it! And if you are struggling, just let her know. She will help you out.
Great educator, great person, one of the most thoughtful and sweetest people you will ever meet. she really wants you to learn about nutrition and gives you material to help you understand it! would highly recommend.
Dr. Creasy is AMAZING!! Her class is very interesting and had a lot of homework and quizzes that will help you learn the information and help your grade. Her tests are very straightforward and she goes off the objective questions that she gives. Between her test and the homework and quizzes, her class is a very easy "A".
Dr. Creasy is by far my favorite professor at A&M. She is an absolute doll who loves what she teaches and she genuinely cares about her students. The class itself was pretty difficult, but if you go to lectures, participate in the extra credit, and study the reviews she gives you, an A is easily attainable. Take her!!!
Dr. Creasy is an angel. She is so nice and actually cares about her students. Her class is not difficult at all but you learn a lot. If you study thoroughly you'll be fine. Such a fun class.
Dr. Creasy gives you every single tool you need to be successful. It is very rare you find a professor to her caliber. One of the most understanding professors I have ever taken at TAMU, but the material can be a little difficult if you don't have an Anatomy background. I'm currently still in her online lecture, but I know I will miss having her!
Dr. Creasy is INCREDIBLE. Literally easiest class ever, with a familiar background in science at all. So far she has offered 90 points of extra credit. I spend minimal time on anything & still have an A+ in the class. Quizzes are super easy, can use notes/anything and have 3 attempts so u should make a 100! Study for the tests w the study guides!
Great Prof & very easy class as long as you do the work. I took her for Nutr 202 online. She gives you ever detail you need to make a A on the assignments and in the class. Exams are weird and taken though a webcam but they are not too hard as long as you study her study guide. & she lets you make up 1 assignment if you miss the due date.
I took this class online and it was seriously easy. Dr. Creasy gives sooo many extra credit opportunities and the weekly assignments/quizzes are very doable. As long as you complete and study the study guide she provides for each exam you'll sure get an A. The projects are quite fun too.
I wish all my teachers could be like Creasy! She offered extra credit up to 45 points this semester, you just had to put in the effort. The quizzes are open note and you can take them three times. Grades and responds to emails fast. Easy A if you do the work!
Her online class is so easy if you do the reviews and read the modules. There are discussion posts, 4 open note quizzes, 3 exams, and 2 projects. Great class learned a lot without being stressed!
Dr. Creasy's lectures are online and tend to be long but are very interesting. It's helpful if you do the exam review as you go through the lectures. There are discussion posts every week which are just grade boosters. This course made me interested in my own health! She is also very accessible outside of class and communicates very well.
LOVED taking this class online with Dr. Creasy. She was so sweet and caring! Actually learned a lot from this class (she made it super interesting). Highly recommend doing the exam reviews because test questions come straight from there. Discussions and quizzes were also pretty easy and she gave many extra credit opportunities! TAKE HER!
TAKE HER!!! You will never have a more caring professor who genuinely wants you to pass. There are only 3 exams with no final and multiple opportunities for 30 points of extra credit. There is something due each week but they are never difficult and she is a very fair grader, usually giving an A.
Dr. Creasy was a great professor. She gets back to you almost immediately and really make a connection with her students. She teaches this class very well. You do have to take notes and study which can be long but the exams and quizzes aren't horrible. This was a great class and Dr. Creasy really did a great job.
I took this class online, but still Dr. Creasy was wonderful all semester. She is very kind in her emails, and any time I had a question or an issue with blackboard she was ready to help. The exams are proctored online through examity, and as long as you study you'll do fine. I definitely recommend taking her class.
LOVED taking her class online. I actually enjoyed learning the content & made me question changing my major to something nutrition/food science based. Multiple opps for extra credit, proctored exams (do the study guides and you definitely pass.) a few simple/fun projects. not a hard grader and every email she sends is with a smiley face. SO SWEET!!
Dr. Creasy is super nice. Very understanding and easy to get in contact with if you have any issues. Class is pretty straight forward, don't use book. I never even listened to the lectures I just made quizlets for the exams based off of her test reviews which are spot on. Easy B, work a little harder for an A. Offers extra credit, easy projects.
Dr. Creasy is amazing. I took her class online so I believe it was a bit more challenging only because I had a hard time watching hours worth of lectures. She gives up to 30 points extra credit. Tests are just like the study guide. She is one of my favorites at TAMU. Would take her again.
I took this course online for an elective credit, and I will say that I am very happy that I did so. The work was manageable as long as you took the time to watch the hour long module containing the weeks's material which was sent out at the beginning of each week. There were about 5 discussion posts, 5 quizzes, and 3 tests. All very easy.
Easiest class I've ever taken. Take notes on the lecture slides, you don't even really need to listen to the lectures. Review those notes and you should be good to make an easy A on the exams. Projects do take time but they're easy A's as well. She offered multiple opportunities to earn extra credit, 45 points overall this semester.
One of the best professors I've had! This class is an easy science credit and it's interesting. There are quite a few assignments and the tests are proctored via a Webcam which can be annoying. There are two projects and three tests, along with some quizzes and discussion boards. Offers a decent amount of extra credit. I definitely recommend her.
I took this class online and there were three small projects, about 10 quizzes, 5 discussion posts, and three tests. The projects and dp are easy 100s. The tests are proctored online so people will watch to make sure youre not cheating but this class was an easy A, just watch the narration of the slides.
Great class for a science credit!
Absolute sweetheart. Took her last fall and I loved her. She is the most caring and understanding professor you will ever get, period. As long as you do the assignments and review the slides before the exam, you will do well.
Does not return emails very quickly. Class is very easy and tests are not too hard. I took her online class and the tests were through examity where they record you taking the test at home or the library. Everything else is not proctored such as quizzes and there are some discussion posts but not a lot. Textbook is useful but I didn't use it.
Although I never met Dr. Creasy, her class was enjoyable because I was interested in the material. I emailed her a couple of times and she responded within 24hrs and was very kind. There is a lot of opportunities to raise your grade and the tests aren't hard if you study the notes and do the review she gives you for each test.
occasional participation clicker questions, easy but time consuming projects, class is straight lecture but she makes them as entertaining as possible, prof is very friendly and sweet, tests are not difficult - just study the given review and you'll be fine, extra credit is offered if needed, definitely recommend taking her for this course
Dr. Creasy has been one of my favorite profs at A&M. She does a few attendance iclicker questions or short paragraphs. Tests are exactly like the reviews (also on quizlet!!) Projects are time consuming, but very easy, she is also an easy grader. Offers lots of extra credit options and responds to emails quickly. Very kind and understanding person!
5 quizzes 3 projects 3 tests 5 discussions. Loved this prof. She really cares about what she teaches. Gives reminders about deadlines in emails & responds quickly to emails. Projects not hard just read instructions well. tests proctored online which is annoying. Can take in person. Nothing else proctored. easy A. Good if you need science credit!
Dr. Creasy is a GREAT professor. She gives out extra credit. Four exams, no final, 3 projects (which are really easy: one of them equals an exam grade). Take her because she's awesome! Also, go to class because she uses iclickers for participation. If you answer the iclicker question, you'll be good. You DO NOT need the book.
i took her online class and it was a BREEZE. dont listen to her lectures cuz she talks really slow. read her ppt slides and do review for the tests and youll be fine. you dont have to read anything for the hw to do well. quizzes are easy and pretty much common sense. i never used the textbook. lots of extra credit. shes a nice lady!
The class is not mandatory but she will do random I 'clicker questions for an attendance grade. Very nice and very knowledgeable.
Hearing the lectures helped out a lot and she's easy to access outside of the classroom if there are any problems. For my class she didn't give a final which was great.
You have to watch the lectures in order to get the information, but download them & watch them at 1.5x speed. She gives so much extra credit & grades projects really easy, so I ended up only needing a 21 on the last exam to make an A in the class. Also if you don't like online, proctored exams, you can ask to take them in person. Super sweet lady!!
I was in Professor Creasy's NUTR 202 online class. It was so easy! Some of the assignments and big projects took some time, but she gives you plenty of time to complete them! She is always available to email. One time I emailed her at like midnight expecting her to respond the next day, but she emailed me back at 3am. She is a lovely person!
LOVE Dr. Creasy. Such a sweet professor who really does care for each students success in the class. All assignments, quizzes, projects, and tests are fairly easy but you must study for test which she gives you a study guide for that is very helpful. Take her!!!
I took her online section and for an online class she communicated with us extremely well. If you ever need help on anything she is more than willing. She also gives extra credit. Be aware that the tests are proctored!!
This class is extremely easy. The projects and assignments are easy A's. You should make A's on the quizzes since you have three tries. Tests are pretty fair, more difficult than the other assignments. But with all the other assignments being an easy A, an A in this class is extremely manageable. Tests are proctored which can be annoying at times
I love Dr. Creasy! She is the absolute sweetest! This class is a real easy A. You get 3 tries on the quizzes, easy and fun projects, and extra credit opportunities. The exams aren't necessarily hard since she provides a detailed review, but they are proctored by Examity. I would definitely take this class if you need a GPA booster/ easy elective.
This class was decent. Professor Creasy is very knowledgeable. Her projects were super tedious but she grades easy. I would recommend her.
Dr. Creasy is one of the sweetest professors here. The tests are exactly like the reviews, you get three tries on the quizzes, and she's always willing to help
tests are kinda hard, but it doesn't matter considering how many (extrmely easy) quizzes and weekly discussion posts you have to do. I needed a 35 on the final to get an A. TAKE THIS CLASS!
SOO caring and helpful. Gives extra credit and the homework outside of class is SO doable. I took this online, so my tests were proctored, but she gives you a study guide and the test is similar to those questions! I needed a 36% on the final to keep my A. She is so kind and understanding!! Take this class!!
Very manageable class if you put forth the effort. Best elective I've taken so far and solidified my interest in nutrition.
I LOVED this class. I took it online while i was in Europe and made an A. She really worked with her students and gave us an extra extra credit projects to help the grades. Quizzes were an easy 100 because you could retake the same quiz 3 times. The tests were a little tough, someone watches you. study for tests and do the exam review!!
This class was definitely an easy A. You can take the quizzes 3 different times so a 100 was easy. Discussion post and projects were graded easily and were basically a competition grade. Test were pretty hard but I made a B on all of them and still finished with a high A. She really cares about her students and gives lots of EC, TAKE THIS CLASS!
I LOVED DR. CREASY!! She loves what she does and her students! She gives a lot of extra credit so that helps. Start the diet analysis project early. She gives a lot of good feedback and responds to emails quickly.
Dr. Creasy is the absolute sweetest professor I have ever had. I took this as a GPA booster & that's exactly what it was. Super easy class if you put in minimum effort- a few quizzes, a few fairly easy projects, and 3 or 4 exams that you will pass if you study the hour before. Exams are proctored so no cheating. Lots of extra credit opportunities.
She's probably the nicest person in the world. So... yeah.
Dr. Creasy was absolutely splendid! Took the summer class for a GPA booster, and it was just that. Had five quizzes that you could retake 3 times to get 100%, a few projects that required some work & three exams identical to reviews. I came to meet her, and I spent almost two hours conversing w/ her about all things nutrition. Definitely recommend!
I LOVED HER. Dr. Creasy is so nice and caring. She gave great lectures and notes. The class isnt a super easy A, her tests were not easy but she gave a study guide. Memorize it and you can get an A/B+. You have to go to class for fill in notes and clicker questions. Lots of extra credit and easy projects give you a good chance of an A.
I couldn't possibly sum up how amazing this woman is in 350 characters. She is so understanding and genuinely cares about you and your grade. She is willing to meet on the weekends and past normal business hours in order to make sure you succeed. She is THE BEST person and professor I have ever had! 1000% would take her again!
This is the best and most caring lady you could get! Her online class is very easy and will help you learn a lot! She makes sure you understand things and is very reasonable!!!
Extremely nice prof!! Discussion posts and quizzes (3 attempts) are so easy, so many free points. 3 exams and no final. In person and online exam (proctored). Her lectures are in listening modules and she posts the ppt. You have to study for the exam though, you have to know your stuff to get A's on the exam. Extra credit too!
Dr. Creasy is an angel, a complete gem. Not only is the class easy as heck but she cares SO much for her students. The class consists of easy weekly assignments, 2 projects, and 3 tests. Ngl, never studied for the tests made a 59, 70, & 75. Still made an A in the class. She gives out 25 points worth of extra credit. 10/10 recommend this class!
Dr. Creasy is super sweet and really cares about her students. The class was super easy as long as you read the rubrics for all assignments and read all of the powerpoints ( you don't have to listen to the videos). She gives a ton of extra credit opportunities and the tests are identical to the reviews. Quizzes are open note - basically an easy A.
Dr. Creasy is awesome. She has such a passion for nutrition which really makes the class interesting. I took Nutrition with her online, and it was harder than I thought it would be, but if you do the work it will show. It definitely wasn't a blow off class for me but she gives you all the elements you need to succeed. ONLINE TESTS ARE PROCTORED!!!
I love Dr. Creasy! I have never had a prof that cared about their students more than she did. Her test are not that hard at all, just study the quizzes and the study guide she posts and you'll be good. She will definetly work with you if something comes up so don' tbe afraid to email her. 100% would recommend her to anyone!
Dr. Creasy is the BEST! Food Processing is the best class I have yet to take at TAMU (I'm a food science nerd), but she really cares. She is so sweet, and genuinely wants you to do well. I learned so much, and was never super stressed about anything, which is a great combo. If you can take her, I would, and I'm sad I won't be in her class anymore.
Very easy class. Quizzes are open notes with multiple attempts. All discussion posts and projects are pretty straightforwards just make sure to look at the rubrics for everything. Tests are exactly like reviews and take questions from quizzes. Tons of extra credit available. Online tests require online proctoring. Should be easy A.
Dr. Creasy is possible the best prof TAMU has. She is passionate about nutrition and so caring about all of her students. Not only is her class incredibly easy, she is just a sweet person who really wants to help you learn. I was in a car accident during the semester and she was patient with me and helped me get back on track. 10/10 recommend her.
Dr. Creasy is such an incredible lady. She is always available to accommodate for you even for an online class. The lectures are easy to follow and all quizzes and exams come from them. There are a few projects and discussion questions but not the worst thing in the world. Overall great class and professor!
Dr. Creasy is so sweet! The class is presented via video lectures over powerpoints she posts to eCampus. Her tests are very straightforward with questions from previous quizzes, projects are easy & and there's plenty of opportunities for extra credit. I took notes just over the powerpoints & never had issues.
Her projects and quizzes were EASY but her exams were a little tough if you didnt STUDY study (me) but I came out with an A!
Dr. Creasy's online class wasn't a breeze, but it was doable because everything was straightforward. There were a lot of assignments like projects, quizzes, packback, and exams. Online exams were proctored, but she also gave an option to take her exams in person. She also gave out a lot of extra credit opportunities which was very helpful.
Dr. Creasy is an amazing professor! She is so kind and gives uplifting feedback. There are 3 exams in this class, 7 quizzes, weekly discussions and 3-4 projects. The projects are straightforward and easy. The exams are easy if you remember the quizzes, they are word for word from the quizzes. Take this class if you need a nutrition credit!
Taken as a online class but Professor Creasy's joyful personality shined through her weekly emails. There are a lot of opportunities to bump up your grade. Tests can be taken online or in person. Weekly modules, biweekly quizzes, biweekly online discussions, and at least 2 extra credit opportunities. Answered my questions really well through email.
Lectures are pretty boring she seems t o just read off the slides. Difficult to listen to for such long amounts of time. Seems like a great person overall just not the most exciting professor. Carbohydrates carbohydrits.
Took this for an easy A science credit, but actually ended up enjoying the material. She just reads off the power points in the online lecture videos, so I didn't watch them unless I was confused. Just read the powerpoints 5-6 times before the test and never made below an A. Lots of extra credit too, only needed a 40 on the final. Easy A, and fun.
Great prof, EASY A. Reads off power points, so watching the lectures is pointless. Biweekly quizzes: open note, multiple attempts Biweekly discussions: graded on participation 2 projects: use rubric and get an a Exams: (online or in person) just read the power points before, memorize quiz questions because they're word for word and you're fine
Literally the worst prof I have ever had when it comes to entering grades. It is finals week and we still don't have the grades for a project we turned in on Halloween. Overall an easy class, but can be stressful if you are a type A person who likes to know what their grade is throughout the semester.
Easy class but you do need to study for the exams! There are some projects but they aren't bad and Creasy is a great prof! Would definitely take again.
This class is super easy but there are some projects that take time up. She makes study guides that are exactly what's on the test and from lecture. Super sweet prof and pretty interesting material.
Nutrition online is pretty accessible! Dr. Creasy posts modules (sometimes long) on Mondays and theres a couple of assignments dispersed during the semester. Tests are easy as long as you follow the study guides, and she grades projects kindly as well! This class is mainly participation but still can sneak up on you if you procrastinate!
Professor Creasy is so sweet! She genuinely cares about her students and is an easy grader. Online lectures are posted every week, you have quizzes and discussions due throughout the semester along with online proctored exams (also an in person option). This prof will work with you and help you succeed. Take this class!
As long as you put work in and study, you'll do well in her class. Prof is super helpful and understanding, truly wants her students to succeed. Weekly discussions/quizzes which aren't hard. Tests aren't too hard as long as you study. Would take her class again.
Dr. Creasy is by far my favorite professor! She loves teaching nutrition and makes you love it as well. I learned so much in her class and was excited to listen to all of her lectures. Dr. Creasy sends meaningful and considerate emails each week and you can tell she wants her students to pass and learn about nutrition!! She's awesome.
Dr. Creasy is such a sweet prof & really cares about her students. Modules once a week with a quiz and/or discussion. Few easy projects here and there and three exams. She'll send a nice, detailed email every week to remind people of due dates. Do the work & do the exam review and it's an easy A.
Dr. Creasy is super sweet and one of the most thoughtful professors you will find! Especially understanding with everything going on due to COVID. She greatly cares about her students and their success. Interesting and practical course for daily life
Professor Creasy is very caring and passionate about nutrition.
Prof. Creasy is so kind and understandable! She is a great instructor and her class was interesting! The online lectures were very long and there were a few detailed projects/homework. Her exams are proctored and not an easy A - study the review and notes if you want to do well!
Dr. Creasy if the best prof. She is so sweet and cares about all of her students dearly. The class is so interesting and an easy credit!
Take Professor Creasy if you can!! I genuinely enjoyed her class and her lectures were kinda long, but she kept them interesting. All of her exams and quizzes are based off slides and lectures. You can definitely tell she cares about her students and enjoys what she does! 10/10!
One of the sweetest professors ever! Really kind, caring and understanding. Test are proctored but the reviews are very similar so it is do-able. Couple of projects some are time consuming others are super easy and fun, but overall a pretty good class! Did have to put some effort into it though.
Dr. Creasy is so sweet and genuinely cares about each of her students. She is very understanding! If you reach out to her with a personal situation asking for an extension on an assignment, she will not only give it to you, but keep checking in on your well being! She also likes to keep her class engaging and assigns projects that are fun !
I did not have an interest for nutrition what so ever, but Professor Creasy made it really interesting. She was very helpful outside of the classroom. I would definitely take her again and wished all professors were all understanding as she is. I would highly recommend taking her.
Dr. Creasy is seriously the most compassionate person. My apartment flooded, and she offered to bring me a home cooked meal. The work is interesting and definitely doable. Couldnt recommend more!
I LOVE THIS WOMAN. Dr. Creasy is the kindest soul and will definitely be someone I will remember. I took her class asynchronously and was always able to complete the work within an hour or two. She gives about 3 projects but answers any and all questions. She genuinely cares about her students. I cannot stress this enough, TAKE HER.
I LOVED DR. CREASY!! She was very sweet and I loved how much I learned in this class, I highly recommend this teacher. You'll be fine if you stay on top of her work and communicate with her. I had covid during one of the class projects and she pushed the deadline back for me, a very sweet lady who cares more about the students than the work!! 10/10
This being an Asynch class I really didn't expect much communication outside of class- but was I wrong. Professor C is quick to respond and really tries to resolve an issue you have. There are a few projects that take time and the tests are moderately difficult. All concepts must be known for you to do well on the tests.
Dr. Creasy is the BEST professor at TAMU. Not only is she so caring and understandable, but the workload is extremely reasonable. I feel as though I've learned so much about Nutrition in the simplest way possible and it's all thanks to the sweetest prof!! Would highly recommend her to ANYONE debating on taking this course!!
She is always ready to help and wants her students to succeed.
She is the best! She is super kind and understanding and she works well with any inconveniences you may have. I have learned so much in her class and I actually enjoy going. 100% recommend.
Dr. Creasy is THE sweetest person ever. She is so caring and genuine and she makes class so much fun. There is no homework and the tests are very straight forward as long as you know the concepts. She is amazing! PLEASE TAKE HER!
Dr C is so good! She is so caring about her students, even outside of the classroom. She provides positive feedback and clear instructions. She ensures her students are understanding material. Her exams are on the harder side, but aren't impossible to pass. I recommend taking her class.
Her class is super easy to make an A in if you just watch the lectures and do the work. I had her online, which made it super easy because I could go at my own pace- she would even leave the tests open for 5 days for us. Very caring professor!
TAKE DR. CREASY. She is amazing, is very receptive to any questions you ask in class, and is very reachable by email. She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and loves to share it with students. She posts her slides on Canvas and does not require many assignments. Pop up assignments are given in class, but she is very generous and engaging.
Dr. Creasy is the best teacher that I have had at A&M. She cares so much about her students and she is always so responsive. She trusts her students and she will do anything to prioritize their needs. She made one of our tests before Thanksgiving break online because she knew we all just wanted to get home! Take her she is amazing!!
Dr. Creasy is one of the BEST professors I have ever had. She is so kind and compassionate. The workload for this class is very reasonable, and Dr. C is extremely understanding of our stress as college students. You will not regret taking her!!!
Dr. Creasy is the best prof ever. SO considerate and flexible - she was willing to make accommodations for us (like pushing back test dates). She replies quickly to emails, loves to engage in discussions, and is an incredible educator. I went into it with 5% interest and came out with loads of applicable knowledge. Not hard if you put in effort!
You truly could not ask for a better professor or one who is more willing to work with you!! I wish every professor was like Dr. Creasy!!
Dr. Creasy is the most sweet and genuine professor I have ever had! Her class is very easy to understand and to go through. She will work with you if you need any assistance and she is very understanding. Do yourself a favor and take her class. You will not regret it:)
BEST PROF EVER! This class was amazing. We had 4 projects and you get a 100 on all of them if you try and do the work. 4 exams and 2/4 were online. The exams are straight from the reviews she gives. This class should be an easy A if you do the work and just show you are trying. She is active in the group me and answers questions quickly.
Creasy is super sweet. She is willing to give you feedback whether it be for the course or an issue with grades. Attendance is not mandatory, but it does pay to be in class, especially on days when most of the class is not there. She will work with you with whatever you need.
Dr. Creasy is one of the most caring and passionate professors I have had so far at A&M. Would highly recommend her.
She is the best choice for a professor
Take this professor! By far one of the sweetest professors i’ve ever had! Always pushes you to keep trying and never give up! Only 4 tests and 3 assignments so not a heavy course!
Dr. Creasy is the sweetest prof I have had yet! She truly cares about her students and helps them when they need it. She is totally understanding and easygoing. If you have the option, I would recommend her in person class because she makes learning fun!
She said attendance for class was not required and then would have Tophat quizzes in class that she never mentioned we would have and when I asked about them, she made it sound like they were only for participation not for an actual grade. They were for a grade however and it messed up a lot of peoples grade (such as myself) because she was unclear
Creasy is extremely caring and a great prof. Her class is fairly easy and enjoyable. She gives no feedback on why she takes points off assignments unless you go to office hours. My only complaint is that she cancelled class multiple times very last minute when everyone was already in the classroom, which imo is a bit unprofessional and preventable.
Professor Creasy is such a sweet and caring prof. She made lectures fun and enjoyable, and even brought snacks for everyone a few times. She just goes over her slides in class which she also posts on Canvas so it's helpful to go back and reference those. I ended with a solid 87 in the course, but she ended up bumping me to an A without me asking.
Creasy is a fun professor, although it was an online course, she made an effort to reach out to us and was very active in the GroupMe. You can tell she cared about her students, even though the class was online, which is difficult in itself. Take good notes, quizzes are easy and tests are straightforward. Study vocab and it'll be an the easiest A.
LIterally my favorite professor I have ever had. She cares so much about her students. Pretty easy class, and attendance isnt mandatory but her lectures are interesting and I enjoyed them.
Dr. Creasy is so caring and kind. She is very accessible through email and GroupMe and provides easy to understand lectures. This class is really not that hard if you just go over all the quizzes and slides before each exam. Her projects throughout the semester are also super easy and actually kind of fun! Definitely recommend taking her if u can!
Very easy A with minimal effort, I barely studied and received an A in the class. Every time i had a question she answered my email within 24 hours and if there was a problem or a conflict in my schedule she was very understanding. A very sweet and caring professor who wants her students to do well.
Took this class an elective in Fall 2021 and it was fairly easy if you just pay attention in class and do the assignments. She makes it clear what she expects us to know. She used an online platform for in class assignments, that I think costed money to purchase. She is very friendly and makes lecture enjoyable. Take NUTR 202 with her if you can!!!
Professor Creasy's NUTR202 class is an easy A. She makes lectures engaging and is very understanding. Studying the slides and vocab will ensure success. unstuck study was a great resource for preparing for quizzes and tests.
I took Professor Creasy for my AGLS 125 class in the first semester of my Freshman year. She genuinely wants to know how her students are doing. I could tell that she wanted her class to have an understanding nonjudgmental environment. AGLS 125 was basically a pass-fail class, so as long as you submit your assignments on time you'll pass!
