She is an amazing professor! She is very clear with guidelines, due dates, assignment requirements, etc. As long as you due what is assigned to due by the due date, you will thrive in her class. She is very passionate about what she teaches, and she cares a lot about feedback from her students.

One of the best classes and professors I have taken at this University. You have to try to get a bad grade in this class. Literally just put in effort and turn things in on time.

You will have to speak in class there isn't getting away from that, beyond that most assignments are discussion posts, and some projects at the end of the year. Overall teacher is engaging and excited to be there.

Dr Friedman was the best teacher I had at Towson. She cares about every student. I wish she was my professor for all of my classes. She starts class later/ lets us leave early. Everything is well organized and have lots of time to work on the very few assignments she assigns. She is passionate in what she's teaching and makes class engaging & fun!

By far one of the best professors I have had at this school and this is coming from an IT Major. Class was never boring and the class really brings amazing topics into perspective which I think is very important. Please don't miss this.

i've never met a teacher who genuinely cared so much for her students and was so excited to teach. she is extremely thoughtful and thorough with her lessons. there is not much to be graded on, a couple very short written things and three larger assignments. the assignments are not difficult, and i thought two of the larger projects were fun!!

Assignments were fairly easy and were not length. No quizzes, one full debate but you get to pick the topic you want to defend and she gives you team time to figure out your arguments. Full class discussions and she is open to opinions, she's very caring and intellectual.

All I have to say is this course was amazing. She is so organized & every class/assignment felt purposeful. The 3 hr slot never went beyond 1 and a half hrs. As long as you attend EVERY class and put in some effort, it is an easy A. I learned so much even tho I'm not an EDUC major. Super manageable, interesting, & easy core 10. Def take her

She is one of my favorite professors at Towson. She sets clear expectations at the beginning of the semester and checks in on each of her students during the whole semester. This class was fun but also educational, I learned so much and had a blast doing it, I would recommend her courses to everyone.

AMAZING professor. Extremely organized throughout the course. Professor Friedman holds herself to a high expectation as well as her students to be completely fair to everyone. She is completely unbiased which is necessary for a course such as this one. 10/10 highly recommend!

One of the most outgoing, encouraging professors I have ever worked with. She creates a safe space that allows students to openly discuss real world issues in a respectful and constructive manner. Her passion for education is clearly very strong and shows through the amount of time she takes getting to know her students on a more personal level.

Kinda Iffy on her because she takes off points for little things and doesn't always provide a clear rubric but shes nice, lowkey expects a lot sometimes but its an easy class, just make sure you stay on top of things because it can get annoying with major classes.

She is very serious and knowledgeable about the content. Overall, great professor and would definitely recommend.

Professor Friedman is a fantastic professor. She cares, listens to her students' thoughts and ideas, and is passionate about this course. We only had one in-person session a week, and we would read or respond to a discussion board on the other days. We have a lot of group discussions, which keep the class interesting. I would highly recommend.

She is very easy, I like how she takes topics that can be a bit political and still hear everyone's thoughts no matter what their stance is. The class is super easy and should not take hours to do homework. We also only met once a week and it was amazing because it gave us time for other classes. Would take again.

Class was very accommodating for participation, allowing the points to be gained in the online discussion forums. For a monday/wednesday class, Mondays were asynchronous discussions and Wednesday were in person discussions/debates. Work was very easy and straightforward. Very calming lecture style, accommodating of uncomfortable conversations.

What I didn't like was that we were told not to use Grammarly because it's AI, even though it's used for grammar. The professor would use it as an AI checker when it's using AI to check for AI. UPDATE: She tried to say I was using AI on my final when I wasn't, and she wouldn't grade it until I proved to her I didn't.
