She's very easy to understand even tho material is hard. Her tests are not cake walks but if you do the exercises at end of chapters, you'll be o.k. She's patient with questions and will spend time explaining things one on one if needed.

Mrs. Hailey is the absolute best teacher at Florida Community College. There was no question about what would be covered on the tests, do the homework and get lots of practice and you'll be fine. Everything great you are reading about this prof is true! As far as the work: there's a lot work & the material can be difficult but she could teach this to a 5th grader and they would get it! I love Professor Hailey! There are 4 tests plus the final. The final is cummalitive. The tests are out of 125 points. On the homeworks she uses owl which is easy to complete. she has a a lab every week unless there is a test. However it is chemistry so it is not an easy A. You have to work for it. she is super helpful and really nice.

Chemistry is not an easy class but this professor does an excellent job of helping you to understand the material. You WILL have to study. The tests are not easy unless you really study. There is a lot of homework but it prepares you for the tests. If you want a decent grade I would not recommend taking this class with other difficult classes.

FANTASTIC!!I didnt take chem in high school but she really made it very easy to understand.The way she explains things, you can't help but to understand and get interested. As long as you study. She tells you exactly what kind of things will be on the test in her study guide, so study it and do pracice problems from the book and it's no problem!

She gets the highest marks for her good teaching and willingness to help. The book's authors could use her in doing a rewrite to improve how they communicate some of those concepts :) This isn't an easy course--you have to put in the study hours. But if you do, there's enough extra credit on the exams and leeway elsewhere that anyone can succeed!

Professor Hailey is FANTASTIC! I loved her class! I have a prior interest in chemistry, but Professor Hailey makes sure to explain everything multiple ways and in layman's terms. I enjoyed the class thoroughly, the only reason I received a B was due to an extended absence with military training and missing lecture, so I was unclear on some of it.

This is NOT an easy course, but Prof Hailey explains material well. Extra credit on exams, everything on exams is in study guides. Condensed summer course required intense studying, but I'm finishing with an A while taking two other condensed courses. Don't think I could have with a different professor. Very nice, quick response to email.

Very kind professor. She takes great care to explain the topics and lets you drop lowest scores for labs, exams, and other work. She really goes out of way to help students who struggle. I had never taken a chem course before and I easily got an A.

Prof. Hailey is a stellar and highly organized educator. 1025 isn't easy peasy and will require a significant commitment, but Prof. Hailey makes everything clear as crystal as far as what you need to do to succeed. I originally had another professor for 1025 at Kent who is well reviewed but very disorganized. Glad I made the switch.

Professor Hailey is the best. Just practice the H.W problems that she assigns and you will do great. What I did is I read the chapters practiced the chapter problem, did the H.W. problems and read through her notes. I got 98 total at the end of the class.

Prof Hailey is a great teacher. She cares about her students. Class isn't difficult if you do your homework and study. I suggest using your lab partner as a study partner as well. This class was difficult for me at times, but I had a great lab partner. We would get together and do the practice chapter tests before each test and that helped me a lot

This was one of my favorite classes not because of the subject but because of professor Hailey. She makes herself available to help in any way she can, she will reply to your email usually within the hour during the day. She gives a study guide for each test. She also gives alot of extra credit

Amazing professor! One of my favorites for sure. She gives you all the tools and extra resources to be successful in the class. As long as you study daily and do the practice problems in the textbook, there's no reason why you shouldn't make an A or B in the class. Not an easy A, but not a hard A either!

Professor Hailey is the best,PLEASE TAKE HER! She reminds me of a kindergarten teacher. There is truly no way not to understand the material unless you're really just not doing the work. she went over everything on the exams at one point or another! she is the best.

Yes the subject is difficult and you do have to put the work in to understand the subject, however she provides study guides, practice problems( which are similar to questions on the test). She is the most amazing professor I've had and super nice, here's the important stuff: At least one lab and one hmk due a week. Print out the pwrpoints, practice sheets and notes to study so you don't need the txtbk. She's very accessible outside of class, she drops one test (out of 5), no quizzes, TONS of extra credit and drops the lowest lab.

Professor Hailey is AMAZING!!! I took her online because of COVID for CHM1025C and she is adjusting very well with lab and lecture being online. She records her lectures while doing them and so I never was able to catch them right at the start of class or have to end sooner than expected. I was able to watch them on my own time.

Easy! Lets you have a cheat sheet for test. Worksheets and homework just like the test. Not hard. TOO much extra credit, you should not fail. Not difficult at all. A genuinely awesome teacher. Chemistry sucks but she makes it really accessible. You could walk in that classroom not knowing your behind from your ding dong and you could still get an A with how thoroughly she explains things. But if you pick things up quickly, expect to feel impatient. This is a class where it's 100% your fault if you fail.

This is one of my favorite professors at FSCJ. Chemistry is not an easy subject but with this professor she teaches so thoroughly it'll become easy . If you don't understand a topic she'll stay and work with you on it. Also not that strict with late assignments and personal issues as to why the assignment was late.

There were exams every 3ish weeks, but she gave us lots of resources to be prepared. If you use the materials she provides and pay attention in class, you will love it.

Professor Hailey provides files and slides for all chapters which help along with l her lectures. Her test can be a little difficult just because of how the wording is on test. She allows the use of one 4x6 one test day and drops the lowest test. I enjoyed her class presence she is very nice and caring of her students.
