She has a Doctorate degree which clearly shows that she's extremely educated and knowledgeable but she's not here to shove that down our throats. This course is an easy A if you come to class prepared and read the textbook.

Didn't find the class too interesting, but she's a good teacher. There were four homework and 4 tests plus in class assignments. As long as you show up you should pass. I completely forgot about a test and got an 88, so that should tell you it's not too hard.

She was AMAZING! I was expecting Sociology to horribly boring but she kept it interesting while making sure that you passed. Everything she said in class lecture was exactly what was on the final, like every example from class were the questions. How easy is that. And the discussions and quizzes were fairly easy just a trick question here or there.

Reeder is one of the best educators I've ever had. And that is saying a lot. She is extremely fair and lenient (understanding). I loved this class and enjoyed the healthy class discussions we had. It really opened my eyes to the world and I'm so thankful that I was able to take her.

Dr. Reeder is funny, clear, and helps you out as much as she can. Gives some in-class assignments worth 200 pts., so attending class is a must because you never know when she's going to give them. Overall this class was very easy. Many opportunities to get a higher grade and the tests were easy. There are a few papers which kinda sucks but there very easy topics. She does have sort of a bias personality when talking about really controversial subjects but overall, if you're just needing the credit, its a good class to take.

I took Professor Reeder's marriage and family class in 8 weeks, it was a lot of work but it wasn't unmanageable. Our classes due dates even got screwed up and she ended up pushing all the due dates back. She is extremely fair and only wants success of her students. She will not take any late work so don't even try, but i would highly recommend her!

Out of all my professors this summer - she is the 2nd easiest professor I had for the term. This was one of my favorite classes. I missed the first day and found it easy to get on task. She was very helpful. She gave one extra credit assignemnt during the class. We watched a video and wrote about it. All of the topics for the critical thinking HW is very simple. I loved her class.

Took this professor over the summer, during a six week course, and it was pretty fast paced. Overall, I liked the professor, assignments weren't too hard, she liked to be comfortable and fun in class, and I had no trouble. Just be sure to turn in your work on time because she doesn't accept late work. Coloring day was probably my favorite class.

I had her during Spring 2020. Out of 4 classes, she was the most understanding and helpful. One quiz, module and discussion a week. Our discussions started in class, but because of the pandemic everything switched online. It was still the best class I have ever taken. If you want to actually learn and not be overwhelmed, this is the perfect class.

Took this as a 6 week online class, easiest A of my life. Weekly coursework usually consists of: short written assignment, discussion post + reply to 2 classmates, & quiz. Unlimited attempts on quizzes & it gives you the correct answers after you submit. Each time you retake, it's the same questions. Highly highly recommend taking Dr. Reeder!

Her class consisted of chapter quizes that were multiple choice and had unlimited attempts & 5 500 word essays. The papers were of really fun topics. They are not hard gruling papers to write at all. We use the OPENstax textbook, so you do not have to purchase a text book. I finished the class with literally 100%. It's a super easy and fun class!

I passed this class with a perfect 100. She is great! Everything is very organized. There are only a few papers to write, very easy and you are able to take her quizzes as many times as you want until you pass it. I RECOMMEND. Ill be taking her again for another class. She is great. I took Dr. Reeder's Introductory Sociology class over the Summer. It was an asynchronous online class, so I never directly interacted with her, but her grading was clear and the assignments were easy. Some of the assignments are long and require some research, but otherwise it's just a few discussion posts. Easy class.

Professor Reeder is an easy A. If you do the work and put in a little effort, you'll probably be fine. However, she took forever to grade assignments and didn't follow through with things she said she would do. When we had to cancel class a couple of times, she didn't post the lecture on Canvas as she said. The assignments were very easy though.

I took this as a 7 week all online class, she's a super slow grader most of my stuff didn't get graded until the end but as long as you do the work you won't get anything less than 100. easy quizzes but the discussions and assignments are lengthy and require research. no tests at all.

Easiest A I have ever gotten. Got 100% on every assignment. Dr. Reeder is a strong choice if you need a sociology professor. Her lectures are engaging, and the assignments give you a chance to write about a topic that you're passionate about. She uses relevant, interesting examples to tie concepts into students' lives. I would give her 5 stars if she was timelier with her grading. Overall, she's great.

Don't even second guess it - I 100% recommend taking Prof. Reeder's class. She's a little slower at grading than other professors I've had, but she still grades in a timely manner and gives great feedback. She is very clear about grading and expectations, and you can tell she put effort into making the course interesting.

This class was a lot of fun. The essay papers were interesting and you get to pick who you write about. The only issue I had was prof. Reeder does not grade anything until the end of the class so I was unaware of my grade until the last few weeks of the course. Other than that, the class was really easy and the workload was not a lot either.

Miss Reeder was a great instructor for the class. I learned a lot from her required readings and I do enjoy that the class was not just focused on items in the past but also very current with todays affairs. Get ready to write, but, she lets you choose a side, so the writing feels like just a discussion amongs peers with no judgements.

Pretty solid professor. I enjoyed the assignments. VERY slow grader did not get most of my grades back until the week before class ended (7 wk course) and did not get course grade until after class closed. Overall, very easy class and I would take it again.
