This Psychology course with this particular professor is the most amazing class I've had. It's very interesting to know how the mind works and why our bodies do what they do. I would take this class over if I could with this same professor. No homework was given only assignments which had clear instructions. Very helpful and understanding professor

Prof. Hart may come off as tough at first, but she is really a sweetheart who seriously cares about her students education (which you rarely see) She makes sure that you actually understand the material and it stays put. I would definitely take this class again and recommend it to other peers. ExtraCred was a grade booster and I have no complaint

Professor Hart is one of the best professors I have had while at PBSC. Everything needed to be successful is on Blackboard including midterm/final exam questions and the guidelines for the APA paper. Even though everything is given out online, it is still important to show up to class and study for the tests. I highly recommend this class.

Amazing teacher who does everything possible to help you succeed. If you fail its on you because all test questions are given in advance. She gives you a template and shows you how to do your paper. Also goes over answers before test. Interesting class. Definitely learned a lot.

Wow. I admit that I would have failed this course if Prof. Hart hadn't provided everything on blackboard. The test questions were there from day 1, which was super sweet. Then, she showed us how to write a 5 pg. paper, which most profs don't do. We got to work in groups for some of the chapters to answer questions which was also nice. Love her!

I would definitely recommend this class. The paper was rough if you've never done APA- but overall would recommend this Prof. because she shows you how to do everything and gives you all kinds of tools to succeed. She makes you work for your grade, but it's easy if you show up. All the questions are on BB and we go over the answers before tests.

One of my favorite professors I've had in college. She is a very fair and generous. She gives you all the necessary tools to achieve the highest grade possible. As long as you come to class and work hard you will do well.

I just saw my grade and I think it's more than fair. Class was really only challenging if you never cracked open your book. But then again she gave us all the answers. She's a super chill instructor and you'd be lucky to get her. She really knows the material and help you in every way. She also did not give me any points for this review.

Professor Heart 3 is one of the nicest persons you could ever meet. She also teaches in a way that makes sense to the common person. Professor Hart gives you everything you need to be successful. Obviously there is some normal work involved because this is college after all. The grading guidelines and expectations are clear and reasonable. The courseload is also very manageable even though it was accelerated. She is very nice and will help you if you need it.

It's easy to do well if you pay attention in class, do your assignments + read your textbook. She breaks everything down for you so that you understand difficult concepts. She also gives lots of good tips and helps you to learn material quickly. Not a class for lazy people tho. You will have to go to class + work for your grade.

I took her accelerated course this summer & it was perfect. There was definitely some work involved but most people got an A or B so can't be that hard! I would say that attendance def matters & that this class is perfect for serious students. Maybe not a good class for slackers! She is very nice and helpful and I would def recommend.

This was a great introduction to Psychology. Professor Hart gives you everything that you need to be successful in this course. You are expected to do some reading and research and write a paper. The class is not too difficult if you come to class and do your work.

This class was a lot of work but that's to be expected because it was a Gordon rule class. Professor Heart did everything possible to help us. She is able to breakdown complex subjects into easy to understand terms and she showed us how to do research and write our papers. She is very nice and helpful.

This class was awesome, professor Hart is very caring, and did everything she could to help us succeed! She is a tough grader on the paper that is due but overall her class was easy. DEFINITELY NOT LAZY PEOPLE!

Our class was given the option of weekly quizzes or homework. We selected the homework. There was just the APA paper, 1 PP presentation, and a final. The prof. covered all the important info. from the book+ PPts, but the hw made us find more detailed answers to questions that would be on the test. She was fair and generous.

No one could ask for a better instructor, course material, outline or better tools to succeed. She gives you more than anyone could want or ask for in terms of structure, information, tools, resources and help. I would highly recommend. She definitely cares about student success. There is quite a bit of homework though.

A lot of people would fail this class if the Professor didn't post everything on Blackboard. If you follow the directions and complete all of the homework you will be fine. She made it all easy for us even though it was a lot of work. I wish that all of my classes had this structure and organization.

This course is rich in content and lively with class participation. This in an interactive class that encourages student participation through discussions and questions. All the course material is also online so everyone knows the course outline and homework expectations in advance. The Prof. makes the course interesting and a great experience.

Professor H. is a very nice and careful person. She gives plenty of opportunities and resources for the assignments she gives out. Be wary of the research paper. She is EXTREMELY strict on the FORMATTING of the paper. Don't depend on the SLC lab or the library to assist with formatting; I went multiple times and still got an F from formatting alone

Professor Hart is a good teacher. Attendance is mandatory or she will drop you. The book is needed to do homework. Take advantage of ALL the extra credit, you will need it. There will be a 10 page paper, get all the advice you can about the paper and keep updating her on it. She is a very tough grader, but very helpful. Overall, this class is easy.

Professor Hart does everything possible to help you succeed. The course outline on blackboard gives the couse structure, the homework is easy, and the paper requires some work. But she gives you video links and shows you how to do it. If you go to class, do your work, and ask for help if needed, you will probably pass.

This professor was okay. She was very kind, and I am sure she meant well. Yet, she gave heavy lectures that would be repeating and going on forever. She graded on only 4 things throughout the whole class, so these grades were super important. She doesn't really put a lot of effort into you individually, though gives good advice and recommendations.

This Professor was very kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to prepare us for college success. The book is the main focus and all assignments relate to the book topics. SLS1501 is a mandatory class + should be taken seriously because grades are factored into your gpa. If you show up and do your work, you will likely get a good grade.

This Professor sets their expectations right from the start of the class so you know exactly what you have to do throughout the semester. Take notes and complete the weekly questions and you'll be fine! Also it is important you go into the class already knowing how to write an APA paper.

I took Professor Hart for Psychology, summer A classes. This class was one month long. She is lecture heavy but that is where youre supposed to pay attention and take notes. Overall great teacher, would take her again. She makes you work for your grade most definitely.
