Definitely one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Helpful, energetic, and entertaining. Learned quite a bit. He should be a 10 on the 5 point scale.

Great sense of humor, really smart, very approachable. I wish all my profs were as cool as he is.

AWESOME teacher! Very helpful! Make sure you take good notes, even write down word for word his powerpoints.His tests are multiple choice and some come right from your notes. Do online quizzes, they can help your grade.Do extra research for extra credit.

Very fun class taught by a very energetic, interesting professor. Dr. Gurung is very approachable and helpful and his classes are anything but dull. I always left class in a great mood.

Going to Michigan Tech and miss him a lot. He is the greatest teacher to ever come from India. Keep him there so you all can learn from an Immigrant who wants to be here and learn English. He is a really good guy and easy to talk to.

Keeps class VERY interesting and enjoyable, knows a lot about the field, only downside is that he must have a lot of free time or TA's because everything is graded strickly and without a curve

Very fun class...who knew you could stare at M & Ms to relieve stress?? Very helpful with questions about the major and any exams or anything else that you have questions on throughout the semester. I would definately take another class with him again! Explains everything rather well...never dull!

He is seriously the best teacher I have ever had ever. I really really really loved this class. I'd pay the whole tuition just to come to his class, he's so awesome. he made learning easy and fun and he's really nice and wants you to do well. he also knows EVERYONE'S NAME!!!!

He is the reason I have an undying passion for psychology. Prof. Gurung u rock! He has loads of energy, a wonderful sense of humor, extremely helpful, replies to e-mails quickly, approachable and even e-mailed me and remembered who I was (out of a class of about 100 students) when I got an awesome grade on an exam. WOW. Take his courses.

Dr.Gurung is probably the most interesting professor I have ever met. Granted Im a freshman, I doubt any other professor will be able to top his ability of turning a boring subject into something fascinating. I looked forward to this class every day, its crazy aweseome and the things Dr.G came up with were amusing to say the least.

An abosolutely fabulous professor! His enthusiasm for psychology almost convinced me to switch majors. He makes lectures interesting by relating them to his students' lives. His great sense of humor makes class fun. His demeanor allows you to picture him as a college student, which is almost impossible to do with some profs.

I loved this class. Dr. Gurrung was helpful and fun. He is the only teacher that I have stayed in contact with. He also has really good reviews for exams.

I love this professor!!!! Super awesome and hilarious. He makes going to class intersting and fun. He presents things in different ways (mostly lecture and 'acting') that makes you understand things easier. I cant wait to actually get started on my major and work with him all the time! His class is hilarious. Attendance is taken in the beginning of class, they pass around paper...and actually check it. The online quizzes actually aren't that hard. They help keep you up in class...Exams are easy if you study, read the book, and study the online quizzes from the book. Love the class. :)

Excellent teacher!! he makes class really fun! he has all quizes and exams online. He does random group work to take attendance and sometimes he just hands around paper for attendance. I would really recommend him.

Hands down best prof I have ever had! Made class material understandable and fun. Starts each class with music. Great examples and demonstrations...I am taking classes I dont need next semester just to be taught again by Dr.Gurung!

AWESOME! Dr. Gurung's ethics, motivation, drive, enthusiasm is the prime source of his class. TBH, this class NEEDS to be a MADATORY class for all students in order to graduate. Best class I have taken so far! Gurung is an awesome professor so I 100% recommend you take any class with him. Class is well structured and you can tell he has total interest in whatever he talks about. Exams were all online and all books were super interesting to read. Easy class and you'll learn a lot!

A lot of respect for him and his passion for these courses. Not only was he thoughtful in the material for the class, but also how it could be incorporated into our lives. It was an incredible class that is designed to help you REALLY learn. My favorite out of all of the Psych courses by far. And my favorite out of all of my classes.

Dr. Gurung is a super laid back, funny, and involved professor. He is interested in each student's well being and helps you achieve your goals, even after the class ends. He does expect alot of reading, but its all interesting stuff, and you actually would want to read. Do the reading and pay attention in class and you'll do just fine

Outgoing, smart professor. Dr. Gurung is always willing to lend a helping hand, but his lectures are a little boring and sometimes go off topic. Tests are pretty tough too if you don't know the material REALLY well. All in all, good guy, somewhat tough

Dr. Gurung was a fantastic professor! He really cares about his students and is passionate about what he's talking about. Sometimes he is confusing, but he is willing to go over it again and again until you understand the material. Tests are pretty easy if you go to class and skim the readings! I would love to be in more of his classes!

This professor will take time out of his busy schedule to help you out. He wants everyone to succeed, and he means it when he tells you to "stop by my office sometimes". He is open-minded and not afraid to talk about his personal life. He remembers what you say and who you are, and he will ask for your opinion in class. Very personable.

Dr. G is the most chill professor Ive come across. He makes sure that his lectures are entertaining while still making sure you learned the material, and if you have any questions or even fun stories related to class topics, he will answer your email within a few hours most likely. He really cares about his students interests!

Super funny teacher. As long as you follow the directions it is not hard. He expects a lot but it is a fun class.

If I could give him a 6 I would. Outstanding teacher with very engaging and entertaining lectures, although they do run a little long sometimes and the focus can stray pretty easily. He gives personalized responses to quiz scores for each student and really shows his effort and care. He also has a really cool tie collection.
