He's cool. There were 3 tests (each containing 2 essays), 2 papers, and a couple of quizzes. Fairly hard class, but it was interesting.

Awesome teacher. Made me decide to change major to philosophy. The class is a little difficult but reggie makes it interesting and is a great down to earth guy who is geniunly nice. If you have the chance, TAKE HIS CLASS!!

Many students would say that they like him because he looks just like a student. I have enjoyed his teaching technique in that I love the way he goes over everything several times just to make sure everyone understands.

Regenold is more than willing to help you if you go to his office. In some of his classes he even takes 2-21/2 hours to meet at a pre-determined spot with whomever from the class wanted to go. His tests are hard and the hard. He gives you the test questions at least 7 days ahead of time and the papers like 3 weeks.

Reggie rocks. If you want to learn logic, or have to learn logic, he will help you UNTIL you get it. He explains every problem in every possible context and he is very clear. He's only 30 years old and I think it helps to have a young teacher to teach logic. Older prof's seem to drone on and on and on. He makes logic interesting, even at 8:00 am.

Have reggie on your call list if ever appearing on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire'.

Reggie is the sickest teacher on campus. He is so freakin good at what he does. He is very soft spoken, but what he says is so bad ass that you just tune in. He is also really funny. He's not super easy, but he's willing to help all he can to help you pass the class. Take him!

Awesome guy. Took his 'Ethics' class, wonderful stuff. Picks his authors carefully. The class moves a lot from lecture to discussion, quite quickly. Can be fun, if open minded.

With texts like those Reggie picks, this ethics class would have to struggle to suck. However, Reggie is so good at what he does that his ethics is maybe the best class I've yet taken. If you're interested in right and wrong, take this. If you're not interested in right and wrong, take this so you can wise up!

Also when it comes to homework my best advice is to not do it until the following day during class. Reggie will go over the problems with the class. It will make it easier for you to understand. HE NEVER COLLECTS HOMEWORK!

He tries very hard to help everyone understand - you can disagree with him but you better back it up validly. His test are HARD he says he expects most people to fail the first one. He appriciates feedback. He doesn't make you turn the homework in - you can pass without doing it but it's helps if you do it he goes over it throughly. Seems like a really cool guy.

Great Professor. He is pretty smart and on occasion made my brain burn. lol. Funny and easy to pay attention to. I was able to read some of the textbook but was able to pass the class by just listening to class discussions. Take classes with this prof. I am thinking about a minor in Philosophy now.

Coolest teacher for Logic! Assigns hw but doesn't grade them; however, the hw prepares you for his tests. If the class participates, then it's better for him to teach Logic. He tells his jokes nonchalantly which makes them hilarious. He's so nice and explains the material in easier terms. Highly recommend :)

He's hilarious and cool. This class will take up a lot of your time. Get to know your classmates fast, participate in class discussions, and go to the writing center.

Really fun and cool professor, he doesn't ever include his own opinions in class discussions but sometimes you can get an idea which way he leans. You have to do the reading or you will fail the tests but his two papers are fairly easy. I enjoyed the class, would recommend.

One of the most "chilliest" professors I have had in BC. Even though the class consisted of a heavy topic, he made it fun and un-depressing. His stories are hilarious and his lectures capture your attention right away. The papers are small and he mainly focuses on content. Participation does matter in his class.

Reggie is a great professor. I'm definitely going to miss him. He's chill, he's funny, and he really knows how to be honest without tearing someone down. As an older student and philosophy groupie I thoroughly enjoyed this class! However, I missed some key classes and he covers quite difficult material in the readings. A chance for him to break down the readings and put them in context is essential, don't miss class! Reggie is one of the smartest professors I've met at BC, pay attention!

He cares for his students more than the average professor. Attendence isn't mandatory but definitely recommended for a clear step by step walk-through on the material. Basic idea to pass is to do the homework and be prepared for the exams since homework isn't accounted for. Makes sure you're wide awake with his sarcasm and jokes. I will miss him.

One of the Absolute BEST professors on campus. Im writting this in my final semester and good god I wish I would have known about him sooner. This is one professor that as soon as you take him once, you try to take as many of his corses for gen ed req or even for fun. Strong Recommendation. Easy and fun, just dont ditch and take some notes.

While some of the conversations can get dark, he keeps it from getting too out of hand, thought he can be blunt and open. He manages to make the class fun. He focused on making you see all sides of the story, and he seems to keep his main opinions out of controversial conversations. He's not trying to stuff the "right answer" a down your throat.

Absolutely phenomenal. Will take time out of his day, if he can, to meet with you and help you. Difficult at first, but once you understand the flow of daily inventories, the class will become easier. You'd need some basic grammar knowledge before entering this class. Many topics become heavy, but he is great at brightening the mood of the class.

The best professor for this class; hands down!! This is not an easy class, but professor Williams knows exactly how to help you become a better writer and thinker. If you're a science major and not very good at writing, I would suggest a different professor. He really does help improve writing skills but in my case, it wasn't good enough. he requires to read 3 books, 1 exam, and two essays. One essay is the final. Reggie was the most inspirational professors I've ever had. He is very passionate about Philosophy. Phil B7 is a tough class but if you come to class every day and study before each exam, you will have no problem. Don't be afraid to ask questions because he will respectfully answer all of them. He is a really chill professor. He's really funny and you could learn a lot from him. He gave little pop quizzes at the beginning of every class when I had him. He really cares about the students though and is really helpful. He will explain something until you understand it.

Reggie is too qualified for BC, but selflessly chooses to live in Bako to help the disenfranchised. He is from Oildale I think, and a very interesting self made guy. He loves Slayer, is well published, and could definitely overcome the community college stigma if he desired. I dropped his class due to schedule issues, but learned a lot from him.

There are not very many Phil B9 reviews, which is to be expected. This class difficult, and he tells you from day one. There were probably 10 students the day of the final. You really have to work hard for a good grade in this class. Nevertheless, Reggie is a fantastic teacher, I highly recommend him as you will not be disappointed. 10/10

Great instructor, very funny, show up, do your homework, and don't underestimate the class. I thought it was going to be an easy class like Phil B12. Converting language to symbols in some chapters. Get a tutor early on. If you have a good understanding of math you may find this class to be easy.

Pay attention to his word play during lectures. He repeats material that he wants you to memorize. Bad punctuation, grammar, and spelling can effect your grade. Think outside the box during B9.

He may not be everyone's cup of tea: He's real and honest, carries no pretension & he asks for the same in return. Participation is huge and makes the class so much better.

Really easy to understand. Guy was super hilarious and made the lectures fun to listen to. Especially since the material was dull at times he made it more fun to learn. A lot of class participation, he likes it when students participate and get involved in the lectures.

Reggie is by far the most amazing professor Ive had at BC. He makes his lectures incredibly hilarious and relatable. His only exams were 3 in class essays of his choice and take home essays which are incredibly short. Just show up to class everyday with an open mind and theres your A!

If you're looking for a good humanities class to fulfill your elective requirements, take this class! Reggie is about as real as a professor can get and approaches the material in a way that makes it relatable. This is a great course, and not just for the medical students.

He is an inspirational and super funny prof. He is a smart guy and that's probably why tests are tricky, but that is why attendance is important. This class seemed more like an uplifting counseling session than a class, but you are still required to read and learn the meaning of the textbooks. You must relate and understand the information.

The class itself is very difficult, but Reggie makes this class entertaining! I would honestly recommend taking this class with him, he makes sure that it will really help you out in all future classes!

He was by far the BEST professor Ive ever had hes so nice and helpful. PARTICIPATION MATTERS!! He likes when you speak up and its hard not to because he draws in questions that youre dying to answer (no pun intended). Hes very entertaining thats for sure we would go from being on topic to talking about food, he has no filter.

I would take Reggie 20 times over. He's an amazing professor. Logic is a subject that requires work and practice, but as long as you do the homework and show up to class, you'll do fine. Reggie manages to strike the perfect balance between sharing funny stories and really driving home the information. He makes class fun, while remaining productive.

Great Professor! Would definitely take again. He does cuss a lot and imposes his opinion so if you get offended easily dont take his class. There is a lot of reading, but if you do it, pay attention, and speak up youll get a great grade. Seriously a very kind and rad prof.

Took this class over the summer. 500pts total, 300 were from in class exams. He had short writing assignments. He cares about your education and he's pretty funny. Really laid back. A fair grader, if you had a take home assignment he expects more than in class. Participation shows interest. Don't disrupt the lecture for your own personal situation.

Took him over summer for 4 weeks, and was one of the best profs I've ever had at BC. Go to class because it is all lecture-based, but he makes them fun, interactive, and the guy is just dope. He wears band tshirts and birks everyday. You won't be bored and I actually wanted to come to class lmao. Exams and assignments weren't bad, take him if u can

He honestly had to grow on me, but I really enjoyed his class once I was able to push past my own biased opinions. He's just there to give you information and to get you thinking. Tests were pretty tough, but the writing assignments were actually fun.

PhilB9 is not for the weak minded and the those who are not dedicated to school, if you dont read everyday you will fall behind. He is a world class professor who has been through a lot in his academic career which leads him to have no sympathy for excuses. I now attend Stanford and I can truly say that Professor Reggie prepared me to succeed here

This is a UC-level Critical Thinking course; he will make sure that you are ready to write at this level. My class got a unique perspective since we had him both in-person and online, we made an effort to help us in both. Throughout the course, I saw a drastic improvement in my writing. Best advice: Make a study group and help each other regularly.

One of the most thought-provoking classes I have had at BC. Got an A but really had to work for it: it felt rewarding in the end to receive it. Aside from the grades, in the online setting he makes discussion thread participation interesting with a Socratic style (although if you like using Zoom he does not really care for it).

Reggie is hands down my favorite prof at BC. He is super funny and VERY knowledgeable. You can tell he cares about his students and wants them to do well. He will help you when you need it, as long as you are making an effort in the class. There are quizzes at the top of every class that can't be made up later, so avoid being late if you can!

Hands down best prof I have ever had. Very real and down to earth. Yes, you do have to get a general understanding of the section before hand but he does go over everything and breaks down in class to make it easier to understand. He's not to strict on doing homework but we do go over it in class so it is helpful to at least look it over.

Above all else he does not try to force any beliefs on his students and truly focuses on getting people think. 10/10 professor.

He was a great teacher! He was very funny and as long as you interact during class and take notes you should pass the class easily. The questions on tests are multiple-choice depending on the materials we read and there's also a short essay question. I learned a lot in this class and enjoyed the topics we were able to talk about.

Reggie Williams is an amazing teacher, he is an amazing lecturer and loves to answer questions and encourages participation in class. If you ever need help he is happy to help. He is a very funny professor and gives out extra credit opportunities. The class is fairly easy if you do your work and pay attention. I for sure recommend this teacher!

Great lectures. He made sure we knew what we were reading not just memorizing the material. He is down to earth and very caring. I believe BC should make this a mandatory class for general education.

Reggie is an amazing profesor, very funny and down to earth. he explained the lectures in detail and made sure everyone understood, although he does not answer emails. i took this class for dual enrollment and i definitely recommend him

The 3 tests are a breeze if you are in his class during the lectures and the 3 papers are SUPER easy to write because they're about how you feel personally. I wasn't there for a bunch of his lectures and missed a lot of classes so on the first test, I got a 54% but by the end of the semester, my grade was an 89% with minimal effort of reading.

This has been by far my favorite professor so far. Very down to earth and caring guy. Workload is very manageable. Take this professor if you have the chance for any of the courses offered

This class was co-taught by Reggie & David Moton. By themselves they are great, but together they are amazing. The most hilarious teachers I have ever had. I would retake their class just for fun if I could. These professors made taking this class so rewarding. They are by far the kindest and most intelligent professors that I've had thus far.

I cannot say enough good things about this professor. I showed up to every lecture because I genuinely wanted to-- for fun. That is how amazing this professor is. He was constantly encouraging me to challenge my ideas and broaden my way of thinking. Also he is so funny. Reggie Williams is a blessing.

Took his summer course and this was probably the funniest professor I had, even though the class was 3 hours long, they weren't boring because he interacts with his students and always has jokes which kept me engaged. This course will be challenging but worthwhile, especially for those planning to attend a CSU or UC. The professor genuinely cares about student success and will push you to think critically. Good note-taking, reading, and asking questions will help you pass and gain valuable insights. I highly recommend this course. The best professor ever!

Reggie is a wonderful professor, but Phil B9 was extremely difficult because he's preparing you to transfer. His philosophy and logic classes were easy and fun, but this class is hard. I recommend Tutoring/Writing center, extra credit and his office hours. Be aware that his standards are higher than what the tutoring/writing center offer you.

Took Futurism/AI/Robotics, and wow that class is by far the most interesting I've had during my time at BC. I would highly recommend coming in with an open mind and a willingness to contribute to discussions. Take his writing advice seriously, and you'll succeed. Don't come in expecting an easy class though, definitely one of my hardest classes.

It was a trial by fire, but B2 with Reggie has made me a much better writer. The theme of the class was fascinating, & all of the films we watched were great. Reggie is hilarious, and cares about students' success. Be warned: he is a very (VERY) stringent grader. Expect a 1pg essay on a film each week, and 2 6pg essays due throughout the semester.

Professor Reggie is very down-to-earth and cares about his students. However, he has clear expectations. Definitely a challenging class, but he is preparing you to transfer, and is teaching you at the level your next school will expect of you. My writing skills improved by taking his class, and it was a valuable experience.

Professor Williams is a really down-to-earth guy. From his lectures, I deepened my understanding and knowledge of medical ethics. From the writing assignments he gives in this course I have improved my writing. I highly recommend taking his class.

I took God Talk (THEO-1600) with professor Williams, and you could tell he was very very passionate and well rehearsed in the concepts he spoke about. A decent amount of reading and note taking outside of class, but its easy to get into a rhythm. Great relaxed way to start my mornings and really cares about his students.
