Mrs. Barnett's class was extremely easy. I never got below a 90 on a test and she makes sure everyone completely knows the material before she moves on to a new topic.She also lets you retake your tests if they are below an 80. She is always in a good mood and tries to make the class fun, which makes the time go by a lot faster. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

I LOVE MS.BARNETT!!!!!! She is awesome, she is terribly easy and helpful. There was little homework because we had lots of classwork. But the classwork was easy also. She included the whole class in the classwork, it was extremely fun. TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!

Good teacher. But her grading is questionable. One of her exams was half opionated questions. She marked me wrong for every question because she didnt like my answer. IT WAS AN OPINION QUESTION!! How can you mark someone wrong for that?

Ms. Barnett is hilarious but is also tough somewhat. If you don't have all your homework done be ready to be kicked out of class for the day. Also for participation, sometimes she asks for volunteers and other times she may call on you so either way be ready to participate. There is also mandatory online homework. I strongly recommend this class .

Be sure not to miss any classes, complete all homework assignments, and listen in class at all times because participation matters.

She will grade reasonably tough though. Ms. B enjoys making corny jokes and talking about her son, and will sit down and try to get to know every individual student if they allow it.

There is constant homework from the textbook but the assignments never take more than 10-15 minutes at most. The only main grades are the essays that are assigned, and as long as you do the little homework assigned and know how to write a basic essay, getting a good grade in the class isn't hard.

Ms. Barnett is one of the best teachers I have had at TCC. Homework is easy and can be done quickly. Each assignment helps strengthen writing. No busy work. We did 4 major essays, all of which were easy topics we got to choose. The book is not the most expensive and is very useful for many classes.

She's funny, intuitive, and very thorough with her grades. She's never grades unfairly, but everyone makes mistakes. I had a 92/100 on an essay, yet it was put in as a 67/100. All i had to do was talk to her, and show her proof that i got a 92, and she fixed it immediately. Great teacher all around.

Decent enough teacher. She was very friendly and always on top of things for the most part. Was kind of confusing at times on locations of things for the work. Besides that, she was a very nice woman and would recommend her to anyone else taking english.

There are 5 essays due for the class. Ms. B is a fair grader, and all papers are returned in a timely manner. The only things you can't write about are abortion and marijuana. Great teacher, would definitely retake the class.

The professor clear about what is need in your essay. Probably the most easiest class because of her format of the essay. You will have to take notes everyday, but the passages are not long and it helpful to understand what is needed in your essay. The lectures include review of notes/topic and discussion on the notes/topic.

Professor Barnett is a fun and an amazing teacher. She likes to joke around with her students, but is also serious when it comes to her graded assignments. She is flexible with homework and she gives you a week or so to finish graded essays! I like how she grades essays and all the other activities! Prof B really helped me with ENG111!

5 essays that are not that hard to do, but do expect to be reading lots of articles and mind tap at home. Over all she's a great professor that cares about her students success and will help you if needed, unless it has to do with computers or mindtap then she tell you to go to a "computer wizard" cause she can't do computers for her life.

This was my favorite class and I usually hate writing. After her class I enjoy it. She made it interesting and not hard to do. She always has a positive attitude and is kind to students. There is textbook use but it is all online and easy reading. There are 3 major papers and two smaller projects. I was not stressed at all during this course.

I have had this professor for two english classes and she prepared me well for the english that I am in now and future classes. She provided zoom hours even though it was an online class which was helpful if I had a question. She was approachable and wanted me to understand and succeed.

She is an absolute gem for someone just starting at TCC. Her class all revolves around 4 essays you write within the semester and everything she provides is useful for those essays and the next english class, ENG 112.

She knows the subject well and expects some participation. Essentially, the majority of her class is based on her four essays, broken down in sections you complete for the week, and a few quizzes.
