Her exams are difficult, but fair. The material is challenging, but explained very well. I believe she is a great teacher.

Though her tests were difficult, she gave enough extra credit to help anyone pass the class. She may be unclear at times but is willing to lend you a hand after class to try and explain things.

She is a very good teacher. Her tests are hard, but if you do the written assignments and extra credit you can pass. She helps with any questions and has really good class discussions. I would recommend her to anyone.

I love her teaching style. She is the best Economics teacher I have come across. She has her views but is also very respectful to other's point of view. Her class is easy for people who want to learn. I would recommend her to everyone.

Very nice teacher. She knows her ****. It may seem confusing at first but follow along with her online website. Her teaching gets you thinking. Men- shes definately the hottest teacher ive had. Tests are hard. Easy going and overall alright class to take.

i think shes a great teacher. diffently take her is you are going to take macro or mirco.

She is pretty cool. Would give alot of extra credit for people who did not do well on tests. Does not take roll. I actually missed more days than i showed up. Homework are given in class. Writing assigments are hard though.Good Teacher and hot too!

she is extremely helpful and willing to give extra credit. does a good job incorperating current events. must show effort and do homework to get a good grade. tests are hard but are curved by group quizzes and misc.extra credit. fun class.

I took her for online macro summer semster and online micro fall semester. She is a pretty easy teacher if you read the chapters. And do the weekly written assigments. I earned a B and I didn't study hard.

She is a very nice lady and good teacher....she pushes her views, but she is right. her tests were not that hard and the HW is just checked not graded. The writing was easy only 1.5 pgs per week. Do the EC and you willl walk out with at least a B. I had an A in the class with C tests scores

Very nice lady and always willing to help you. 4 tests throughout the semester but what she teaches is not on the tests. She does give a lot of easy extra credit that is highly recommended in order to get a decent grade in the class. HW is handed in before every test but is only checked to see you did it. A written assignment is given every week.

It is a hard class, but she offers a lot of homework and extra credit. She is very nice, but the tests are hard and you really cant study from the notes. You have to read the book.

Very helpful. Online class is clear and benficial if you have an odd schedule. Do the reading and assignments and you will have no problem. Remember, economic, not political perspective.

oh my goodness, i took her for micro and honestly i didn't know what the heck was going on in the class. I was sooooo LOST but i just made sure i showed up for class, did most of the HW and most of the extra credit, failed a couple tests and unbelievably received a "B." EXTRA CREDIT HELPS!!

took her for macroeconomics, onsite. pretty difficult, large work load. very knowlegable, but she teaches her staunch republican theory as fact. biased as hell. id look for another teacher.

Nice teacher. Very hard class but helped me become interested in economics and even though biased she still uses real life events to teach economics which makes it more interesting. Just study and do the homework and you will do fine.

Class was late start which was hard to cram all the information. Overall great teacher; very opinionated on certain issues. Would take again, if only she taught more then economics! Didn't even have to buy the book. Homework is a must in this class, otherwise your lost.

She keeps the class interesting, by using real world stuff not just lecturing. Shes not bad to look at either I got a c because I dont read the book. but it you do you should get a better grade.

A lot of homework easy b/c she gives you the answers and you turn in the H/W on test day.Essays each week on your point of view on certain issues(doesnt have to be long)offers alot of extra credit. test are hard but does not affect your grade that much if you do your homework essays and extra credit which is easy it gives you the answers BEST TEACH

I really loved her class. She's very intelligent and yeah she gives a lot of hw but that just helps you understand the economic concepts. Test are hard but she gives a lot of extra credit. Good class She's rude sometimes, though. I would take her again. I'd recommend this professor to those who are willing to learn about economics.

She's not that bad of a teacher. The homework is graded on effort, not on correctness. You go over it all in class and turn it in all at once when you do the tests. There's no way you can't not get a perfect homework score. Tests are hard, but she gives so many freebies and extra credit that it's hard not to get an A if you just try a little.

Great teacher!! I took her for macro and micro and even though she does give alot of work it is impossable to fail unless you just dont show up!! He tests are hard but if you study the homework they are not bad!! She is easy to get in contact with and helps you with whatever you need! I would definitely recommend her!!!

TAKE THIS CLASS!!I have to say that I had little interest in this class before it started and by the end of it I loved it. She does give essays and hw but as long as you do it you will do fine in the class. I am not a test taker and did fairly well on her tests.I enjoyed micro so much I am taking her macro class too! Best professor by far!take her!

i cant believe all the negative reviews!!! she was a great teacher and easy too, it was almost impossible to fail her class unless you didnt come to class. online classes are harded than campus classes so remember that! Her on site classes are great I would recomend her everyday of the week!

Most important class in understanding my place in today's economic climate. Her requirement are straight forward.Due the HM before class instead of just copying it, put effort in the WA, do all extra credit and study online notes.Own your education and you'll be fine.

I am in her class now and plan to take her again for Micro. She is not hard, but she does give a lot of assignments, which helps because you have multiple opportunities if you do poorly on an assignment. There is extra credit for every chapter, and she posts all work online in case you miss class. I recommend her.

I took her for Micro and Macro and loved her! Cassady is nothing less than an Economics Genius! She knows her material so well. This class is no way easy however she ALWAYS gives extra credit and help to make sure you pass. If you do the extra work and read the book you'll be set with an A or B. Plus, shes cute as heck ;] Can't go wrong.

First of all Professor Cassady is beautiful!! She knows her material very well. I took her for Macro twice and Micro. Her tests are hard as hell. Her quizzes are challenging. She gives a lot of extra credit which helps make up for the tests. Homework assignments are worked on together in class. Overall it is very possible to pass with a C or higher

She is a great teacher! She knows the material so well and I knew nothing about economics coming into this class and now I'm leaving it with an A. Wish she had a summer opening for Micro. It's challenging but she gives you a lot of chances to bring your grade up.

Amazing Instructor, excellent at keeping the class interested and engaged. Uses board to show examples which makes it easier to understand. Just an overall excellent teaching style, with a very friendly learning environment. Highly recommend this Professor.

I have mixed feelings about this professor. Very nice & truly does want everyone to pass. Take-home exams and extra credit. Seemed to just want to make her life as easy as possible so not flexible/willing to work w/ students if something should come up. Interesting, a crushing amount of coursework. I didn't mind her republican views (& I'm liberal)

In addition to my comment below: Ppl groan over the political intensity of the course but it is difficult 2 teach econ w/o a good grasp of current events. The whole point is 2 broaden your perspective & learn alternate ways of thought 4 real world applications. Don't fall behind though; it will reflect in your grade! Take if u <3 econ or have TIME.

LOVE THIS CLASS. Super interesting. Definitely my favorite class I've taken so far. Hard work. With Cassady if you want to get a good grade you kind of have to take her political view even if you dont really agree. She's very southern conservative. But if you get passed that she's really good.

I love her political point of view and she offers a lot of extra credit which helps, but do not get behind on your homework or you'll never catch up. Overall, she's amazing, because the assignments help you understand how to use economics in real world situations. The best economics professor at Valencia!!!

She is very nice and expresses her views that make sense while provoking thought. However, it is very easy to fall behind and become lazy. Her lectures do not represent the tests and quizzes. Just based on that fact, I regard it as a hard class. HW load is OK. Lots of written assignments that need to be done. She does not check email often, either.

Professor Cassady is very knowledgeable and provides multiple assignments to help students earn a grade rather than just from exams. I liked her teaching style. Willing to go out of her way to help students.

Take her (especially if this is a mehh subject for u)! She really wants to see her students do well and makes the material easy to understand. If you show you are trying, she helps. tips: Read the ch's, use study guides, turn in assignments and you'll do great. Plenty of EC opport if your grade isn't where you want it. Great class - two thumbs up!

Took online. 100% self taught but still easy. She posts syllabus at the beginning of the year & weekly itineraries so you always know what's due. 10 discussion posts, 4 online exams, online HW every week. Gives good feedback on discussions. I hate ECO but got an 99%. You need to buy the online code for the textbook & myEconLab for sure though.

Though there's lots of homework, they're REALLY EASY. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT, the points add to your test grade. There are 4 exams but are weighted to be the most of all the class grades. I barely got an A in the class, but if you get 80-100 on the tests, get 100s on the discussions, and DO THE EXTRA CREDIT, you'll be fine. She does Knewton Alta.

Took Online. Fair grader and caring professor. Do not have to pay for text book. You will have the usual weekly discussions but overall the class is not hard, you just have to do the work when its due.

Easy class but you learn a lot! As long as you read the (short) textbook and her lectures, you'll do great! Two Canvas quizzes per week and a discussion. Two attempts on all assignments (hws, quizzes, and exams) with constructive feedback. Her lectures are relevant to real world and help you learn a lot! This is how all online classes should be!

Idk why these reviews are bad, her class is really easy. Two quizzes per week, two attempts. Lectures are mehhh but google is there. Prof Casssady is my queen she is very thoughful and even responded outside of office hours for questions I had. None is proctored, only Lockdown Browser for the final which was 50 questions super easy. Take her!

typically here is one discussion every 2 weeks, and a HW assignment and a quiz every week. A couple of exams too and a final. everything is fairly simple and you should be good as long as you do your work.

Professor Cassady's class was very easy. Every week all you had to do was go through her powerpoint slides and then take two quizzes. Both quizzes are 10-15 questions long. Also 3 major module tests and biweekly discussions. Super easy. She also does extra credit which gets added to module tests. Also uses Lockdown browser for the module tests.

Test are a little hard but she gives decent EC. Gives a lot of feedback and you can tell she's actually passionate about economics not not just there to collect a paycheck.
