very hard to understand... but willing to help. grades very fair
Hard to understand her, but if you read the book you are fine. The test questions are either challenging or really easy. Not too much inbetween.
she is a portuguese beast. her english is undecipherable, and she does not know the english alphabet (hence roe=ho, p=pew, etc.) the woman is completely out of her mind, and she taught me nothing 3 days a week for an entire semester.
A graduate student in psychology probably could have taught this class better. The woman made no sense... ever... was sometimes almost helpful in office hours, but actually when you think about it... not really at all. AVOID any and all classes with her!
This statistics course isn't recommended for undergraduate economics majors, most of whom have proven to not know how to calculate areas under a marginal revenue curve, or improper integrals at Boston University
Hard to understand with her accent, but she knows her stuff. Fairly good prof.
She can't speak english she is not a good grader she discriminates students she is funny
her accent is soo thick .. you are too busy trying to figure out what she is saying in class than actually understanding what she is saying.. a lot of homework problems.. but if you actually make time to go see her during office hours. she is helpful.
She has the thickest Portugese accent. I have no idea what she is saying. Lots of challenging homework questions. Read the book carefully and go to her office hour, she'll tell u how to solve it. Avoid taking her class.
Dear entering BA/MA students: this is in one word a challenge. well, for most of you. if you're not mathematically keen, you'll be lost between Cati's words and mathematical simplicity that disguises as fanciful statistics theorems. Rec: READ THE TEXT.
Her is class is impossible for 3 reasons: 1-Her accent is waaay too thick. You can understand her but sometimes it gets annoying. 2-the book for the material SUCKS big time! Its from an economics prof. at SUNY Albany! 3-Her exams are impossible to ace.
If you are unable to learn information either from a textbook or from external research, I recommend avoiding this class. If you study independently you can get an A, but if you expect to learn anything from Cati you might find yourself quite disappointed. Don't go to office hours. really.
Hard to understand at first, but you get used to the accent. She is always willing to help you understand, definetely go to office hours! Funny, nice woman. I got a B-
Other than her very strong accent, she knows her stuff and is a very dedicated prof. Arm yourself with the textbook (which btw is very good) and what she lectures and you'll be fine
She's not very easy to follow, i seriously only took about a page and a half of notes from lecture, but she gives good reviews before exams and the textbook is your best friend in this course. take it but dont expect to learn much from lecture
The homeworks are really important. The tests consist of making graphs and basically no writing. However there were some tricky fill-ins. The book is really helpful. As for lecture, i fell asleep all the time. However, she is really nice and you can go to her hours and she helps sooo much.
SERIOUSLY, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. CANNOT UNDERSTAND A WORD SHE SAYS. IMPOSSIBLE TESTS. AND SHE'S SO ANNOYING.
JUST TRUST ME AND DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS
Energetic prof, clearly likes the material, but difficult to understand her accent and curve on tests was rediculous (extremely high averages).
Fell asleep in class, even if you read the book, you're in trouble, go to class and take good notes if you can even understand her, do the HW thorougly, he can save your grade, don't go to her office hours, get help from other students, her final was impossible, I'm pretty sure we all failed. Eh.. mixed reviews about her.
Easy class. You really dont need to go to class, although she actually takes attendance in consideration when deciding how much to help you. You dont need the book or the articles.. just read the notes that will be posted online and you'll get an A. It is a very easy class and she will help you if you show interest on the subject.
Do not take her class. Lectures are boring and she has a very thick accent. She has notes posted online but you won't be able to understand them because the english does not make sense. The final exam is usually very hard.
Great woman, really interesting. In 369 she basically tells you stories of her living in Brazil. Tests arent hard- read the material and her notes. Shes always willing to help you, go to office hours! She notices ppl who put in effort and go to class. 369 is the most interesting econ class I've taken so far. No papers, 2 HWs, 1 midterm and final.
I almost didn't take her class because of the poor reviews here, but wow would htat have been a mistake. I think she's great! Her accent is really that bad, I understand what she's saying and she's so enthusiastic that she really gets you into it. The people who says she's bad are the one's who never come to class and are out getting fake tans;
I've had Cati for two courses: EC 202 and EC 414. She's the worst professor I've ever had. She has no order to her lectures and leaves the teaching up to the textbook. Anybody who likes Cati either knew the material before the course or is confused about what makes a good teacher. She's a major problem for the ECON department.
Anyone who says her tests are impossible never came to class or read the book--it is not difficult to get an A in this course, and she is always willing to help you during her office hours. She is enthusiastic and helpful--considering how bad the macro professors are here, she is by far the best!
Cons: She is a poor lecturer, easily sidetracked. She told me she caps the number of A's at 4 students (out of 40). I got a 97 on a test and she told me it was an A- because 4 people got 100's. Pros: Her notes that she posts online are remarkably clear. She makes it VERY easy to get a B or B+ (On one test, a score of 70 to 85 was curved to a B).
Cati has a horrible, horrible accent. The only reason why I go to class is so that she sees me (she takes notice of those who go and do not go). Her curves help very low grades but it's nearly impossible to get an A. She gave someone a C- for a 45.5% and someone else an A- for a 97%. She's much more likely to raise grades if you go to office hours
While her accent is strong, it is hardly a problem. Her inability to teach the subject amazes me. She will introduce new terms as if the class knows everything about them, though this was an intro class. Her exams barely reflect the homeworks, and introduce never-seen-before content or questions. Worst stats teacher I have ever taken.
The accent takes some getting used to, but she makes up for it in enthusiasm. The exams are the problem. The curve is crazy and unfair. The exams didn't cover a lot of what she focused on in lecture.
Cati had a tendency to get off topic every day. She'd put up one slide then talk about Brazil for 50 minutes. Still, she posted all of her (good) slides online, and I'm pretty sure everyone got a B. It was an easy class to get an ok grade in, but that's about it.
Professor Cati is by far the worst professor I have ever encountered. Her accent is indecipherable, she doesn't explain any concepts, honestly I have no idea what she was babbling about the majority of the time. Thank god i was able to teach myself, only good thing is her curves bc her tests are SO HARD!
Professor Cati is an excellent professor and extremely helpful. She is willing to help students anytime and in any subject, even students that are not taking her classes. At first I was reluctant to take her class because of ratings here but she is the complete opposite of what people say. Provides you with all the resources in order to do well.
Nightmare. Never again. Grading is SOMEWHAT fair, but she will never correct any misgraded assignments. She seems to just ramble in lecture, often on tangents, and she doesn't really know what she is talking about anyways. Her English language skills are poor and any writing is illegible. Save yourself.
Do not take her for 305! I took her and she was awful (almost failed) so I dropped her and took 305 for another teacher and got an A. She will try to trick you and she has a thick Portuguese accent so you are pretty much screwed unless you love statistics. Worst teacher at BU bar none.
READ: Do not take this class unless you already know the ins and outs of statistics. Even if you think you have great economic intuition, she'll somehow manage to confuse you. Problem sets are long, tedious, and she won't go over them, so you're on your own to study for the exam.
Babbles on in class, I have no idea what she's talking about most of the time. I thought she was awful, until I went to her office hours. She's really nice, and really wants you to do well, she just doesn't explain the material in class. Do the problem sets and go to her office hours!
The single most HELPFUL professor I ever had at BU. Even outside of office hours and through email, she helps students a lot to understand concepts. She gives real life examples all the time for you to understand concepts better. My advice is read the book to fully comprehend the material preferably before the lecture. Exams are at fair difficulty.
THE WORST PROFESSOR EVER
Not helpful, does not know how to clearly explain concepts. Has no problem calling you out while you are taking an exam if she sees you doing a problem incorrectly.
Great Professor! Gives great examples in class, and is always willing to help.
Tough class people perceive her as hard however if you show the effort she will help you. Fair grader when you show your work and takes all work into consideration. I was by no means smart but i went to office hours and she helped me a bunch. If you put in the work she will get you through the class and you will understand the material
I felt that Professor Cati did a really great job teaching this class. I disagree with those who say her grading is "unfair" she rewards those who understand and does not allow her students to skate by just "memorize". If you want to take a class that I feel really clarified the basis of economics, take her class. But be prepared to work!
Extremely knowledgable, will reward students who take initiative. Sometimes can be difficult to understand, but a proactive attitude is your pass to a good grade and a valuable economics resource.
Tests didn't reflect what was taught in class or from the book. The worst part was how many times she would teach something on the board and 5 minutes before class would say she messed up and told us to flip the axis' on the graph with no further clarification. And the curve is awful, its true no one will fail, but no one succeeds either.
Regina is a lovely person but she's got a thick accent and a tendency to ramble, which makes it hard to keep up with lectures. She often goes off track and forgets her train of thought. She will like you if she sees you're putting in the effort, so if you go to her office hours she will help you and you'll get through the class okay.
She's very tough. But she is there to help. If you put in the work and go to office hours it will pay off. Other than that her class is straight forward, nothing new on the tests that haven't been taught in class.
Professor Cati is very hard to understand sometimes during lectures and she works very fast while working problelms out on the board. She notices when you do and don't come to class but she does not take attendance. That being said she understands her class material is hard and is more than happy to work with you one on one outside of class.
Not the greatest at teaching, she moves very quickly and can be hard to understand. That being said, she is always willing to help when you ask for it. She really seems to care about her students doing well, so if you go to class regularly and go to office hours you'll probably do fine.
Best professor I have ever had. Easy to get A if you go to every lecture. Exam are really easy. In the lecture, she just doesn't like to spend much time on those easy calculations.
Great professor. She is willing to help you all the time. If you go to lecture regualry, you also could get extra credits.
Took two classes with her and she is a really nice person. Sometimes she can move quickly in lectures and if you don't do your assignments you will not do well on the exam. Also, attendance is really important. She likes to say things that are important for the exam in class so those who attend are rewarded.
Professor Cati is a very caring professor that is willing to put in extra time and work to help students succeed. Though she would sometimes go on off-topic rants in class, these were still interesting and informational. She does have many expectations for her graded material, but these expectations can be met by attending class. Great professor.
the class is hard but Professor Cati is very nice and will help you to succeed if you put in the effort
She really is hard to understand with her thick accent and she screams when she talks. The language barrier is a serious problem as she also does not understand the questions that the students ask her. The material is not very hard but she will find a way to confuse you. I would do anything you can to avoid taking her, although she is very nice.
Prof. Cati is one of the only reason's I stayed an Econ major. The way in which she explains the material makes complex subjects very easy to understand. One thing that stands out about her the most is the effort she puts into teaching; other than the first day, she never read off a ppt. I will be taking my third class with her in the fall.
VGood. She is an economist who has previously worked in the private (banking) sector (most academics haven't). She asks you to "comment on x event", and won't spoon feed you solutions. This is a class for someone who wants to think about economics as it relates to the world, not memorize equations and models which are both unproven and unnecessary.
One of the most caring professors at BU. She will work with you on any questions you have, during office hours, emails, she truly cares about students who put in the effort. Her lectures can be difficult to follow at times but thats why you have to pay attention. If you have any questions she will answer them all. She is such a sweet teacher.
Regina is one of the best professors I have had. She really cares about her students and is very helpful outside of class. Regina wants you to learn. Tests are hard but manageable if you put in the work and go to class.
Final is not easy!!!
I have taken all three courses Regina has taught. She is perhaps the only reason I kept my major in Econ, as I found many of the other Econ professors hard to work with. She is very personable, and goes to great lengths to help any student seeking help. For her exams and finals, she always gives sample tests before to help. She is amazing!!
Regina in my opinion is the best professor for 203, and gives you so many resources to succeed in the class and remember the info taught after the class. She gives study guides, solutions to homework questions, sample problems, and is practically always available for extra help outside the course.
Intermediate Microeconomics is a difficult course at BU no matter who you take it with. Regina's teaching style is mainly through lectures that focus on solving problems in class. She does not lecture to review material simply for the sake of it. All of the lectures are important, and she always gives hints to exam questions in class.
She is an enthusiastic lecturer, however, her accent is very thick and hard to understand. She does not spend much time teaching the concepts for each chapter, you are expected to learn it out of the textbook before class. In class time is devoted to mostly solving problems. Expect to do a LOT of self-studying if you take her class.
Amazing and lovely teacher, fair grader, but hey, if you do not come to class, you might fail. Come to class, ask her questions, be active, you will be fine especially she gaves extra office hours and is always avaliable online. But beware, sometime she made mistakes and do not leave your monthly long homework till last minute.
The class itself is pretty challenging, but Cati does a good job at explaining. Sometimes she can go a little fast, but she has a lot of office hours. She is extremely understanding if you need an extension.
Regina is actually one of the best people I have ever met. She is really exceptionally caring and will help you to the ends of the earth if she needs to. If you care about your grade she will be there for you. The class itself is not easy and her tests are notoriously hard. I've never worked so hard in a class but she was helpful every step.
She is one of the most caring people/professors I have ever met. She is always ready to answer students' questions and to guide them through the homework. The only downside of taking a class with her is that her thick accent makes it hard to understand what she is trying to teach. Her exams and homework focus mainly on drawing graphs.
Nice lady, but does not explain concepts very well. Be prepared to read the book and teach yourself literally the entire curriculum
Can tell that she cares for her students but is all over the place when explaining concepts. I have never had such a difficult time understanding topics that shouldnt be that difficult to understand. Have had to teach myself everything in this class and would not advise you take this professor.
Makes content extremely difficult to understand. Be ready to teach yourself everything. Take another prof for 201!
Disorganized lecture. Be ready to teach urself the whole class.
Unbelievably hard exam for an extremely short class time
Professor Cati is a nice lady, but her teaching is not great- lectures are very disorganized and hard to understand. I taught myself all of the material for every exam. The only benefit is that she is very accessible outside of class. The final is weighed 50% of your grade and very hard compared to the midterms.
She is clearly very passionate about the course, although she jumps around in course content a lot she does want you to succeed. She is willing to take zoom meetings even on the weekend which helped a lot for the homework. Be prepared to learn the course from the book, but she is great if you have a good work ethic
Prof. Cati is such an amazing and caring teacher. I really learned a lot from her class. She didn't just read the PowerPoints but wrote down the notes on the blackboard, which was good to understand the concept. Spent a lot of time helping students and offered useful tips and advice when facing difficulties. Doing homework is important to get an A.
It's really hard to understand what she's saying. Also, she always skips around slides and which makes it hard to take notes. She lacks organization within her lectures.
Easily the worst prof i've EVER had. I took this class online because of the pandemic but that definitely did NOT make this class any easier. Her lectures are so unorganized that I leave class MORE CONFUSED THAN BEFORE. It's 75 minutes of pure hell and confusion. Be ready to contemplate being an econ major. DEFINITELY DO NOT TAKE HER.
Very hard to understand but incredibly picky on open-ended questions, which is a deadly combination. Her lectures are very hard to follow as she jumps around to different ideas a lot, even in mid-sentence. Her accent isn't so much the problem but rather the fact she rambles instead of lecturing. You have to be good at synthesizing information.
Professor Cati is impossible to understand. She jumps around in her lectures and makes it impossible to take notes on very basic material. I do not understand how I can be getting As on the problem sets and then get a D on the midterm and final. There is a HUGE difference in the material in lectures and on homework than on the tests.
Professor Cati really cares about her students individually. Despite her age, she really tries her best to understand her students' problems. Her problem sets were very straight forward from the class and so as her finals.
Lecture are so hard to understand. Super nice but she's so bad at explaining things.
She seems frustrated all the time but she is a nice person. It's just really hard to understand her sometimes & the notes that she provides are really messy and makes it confusing when watching back on her lectures. I basically learned everything from the textbook & problem sets. Innately it is a hard class but she doesn't make it any easier lol
Professor Cati really is a professional in her area. I learned a lot from her class, however, the one thing that really makes it hard to take this class is her accent that makes it really hard to understand what she is saying. Especially since this was an online class, it just made it so much more difficult. The material is a bit hard, but passible
Test is very important in this course. Homework is heavy but not important because all five homework only account for 10%. I suggest the following students preview the textbook before the lecture.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER YOU WILL FAIL. She does not help you out one bit.
Professor Cati's accent makes it hard to understand the lecture and process the content learned during class. However, she is more than happy to help you during office hours and help you exceed in this course. If I have the opportunity to take a class with her again in the future, I would!
Regina really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. She is extremely accessible outside class. If you are at all concerned about material she will make time to meet with you to provide help. Her grading is very fair, while she is picky about open-ended she curves the exams to compensate. If you want to do well attend lecture.
....... What on the test has nothing do to with homework. Very confusing questions on exam, and her lectures are confusing too. I cannot understand a word. The course is not difficult but DO NOT TAKE EC202 WITH HER!
As a professor, she's a bit... disorganized. Her lectures are a mix of material and personal stories about Brazil. I made the mistake of asking her clarifying questions that resulted in a 10-minute tangent on Brazil. She's very kind and understanding but sometimes makes things more confusing than they are. I would recommend sticking to the textbook
Scored down mostly for the fact that her lectures aren't very useful for learning the material; the textbook is your friend, but she values coming to lecture, so go anyway. HW is "djifficult" + graded but useful. Her tests require a lot of studying, but she grades them very generously, curves each one, and then curves the final class grade again.
I can tell you one thing about her. She is incredibly smart, like really, no doubt. I bet she is one of the smartest Economics professors in Boston.
This class is very disorganized overall. For lecture, you can barely focus on what Professor Cati is talking about. The course materials are just a bunch of random documents and slides that each talk about their own story. You have to write what she wants in the exam to get credit. AVOID THIS CLASS IF YOU CAN!
Ridiculously disorganized, hardly uses presentations, hard to follow, especially if you're not sitting in the front row. I've never felt so hopeless in a class and I never knew how to feel about my grade since at no point was I able to concieve of how I was actually doing in class. The options for 201 are unreal, econ department hates its students.
Super good. EC369 lectures were extremely interesting and is very useful. This is actually economics in practice. You could imagine theory be put into practice.
She ACTUALLY tells students why we are learning things, I LIKE THIS. I feel that what I am studying is impactful.
She is supeerrrrr caring. students love her
i like cati's teaching way. she does not only talk, uses slides. she can inspire students about the subject. grading is ok, but curves are there, no problemo
smooth class. filled lots of hubs
best bu econ prof
Professor Cati is an extremely kind person who is always willing to help students even outside of class and well beyond the end of lecture periods. She is very experienced, but her lectures are often disorganized and make it difficult to follow along. A good chunk of the class is self learning.
Professor Cati is very passionate, she is willing to help you understand some difficult concepts. Just make sure that you follow her every class, and do well in problem sets and discussion questions. Then you will do well in the tests. Additionally, she is pretty generous in giving you a nice grade.
Don't let the accent deter you, she is very understandable and just learn how she does the problems and you'll be fine. the midterms are like the problem sets basically and the final is a little bit harder but it's nothing that you wouldn't be use to
project was very useful. course material not that hard. but very useful. easy a if you do the work...only if you do it
her lectures are different than others, but if you show up and try you will do fine. She is a kind grader and does many problems in class which are exactly like the tests. nothing unpredictable on the tests
Cati is a very nice person but not a great professor. Lectures are very chaotic. Between personal stories and out-of-logical-order teaching, it's very difficult to know whats important. Tests are also a mess. Although the questions don't appear hard she's looking for a very specific answer that you'll have to read her mind to figure out.
Great person, but the worst professor you will ever have, no wonder the econ department is a joke.
Very caring and passionate professor, but possibly the worst econ lecturer I've experience at BU. Extremely disorganized both in lecture content and materials.
i cant really understand her during her lectures for classes, but as long as you do the problem sets and study with other peple in the class, youll do fine. (some content, you cant find on youtube...) shes the better professor compared to the others who are teaching this class. 5%: Problem sets 5% discussion 2 midterms: 25% final:40
I am sure she must be a great person but,I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! She wears a mask throughout lectures, making her hard to understand and further exacerbating that is her accent. I could barely understand what was happening in class. She does not even explain concepts well, just randomly solves questions, without giving any basis. Avoid!!!
She is nice, However, for the course, it was very chaotic and disorganized. I couldn't understand what was being said in the class, and the exam was very difficult, especially the Final.
Did not enjoy this professor at all. She was very difficult to understand, and often yelled at students while answering their questions. Made frequent mistakes on in-class examples. Worst teacher I have had at BU.
Terrible. Even her Portuguese is impossible to understand, she is a very nice person but completely unorganized and goes on all sorts of tangents. Bad at answering questions. Go to her office hours and make sure you are friends with her ;)
I can not understand her accent at all. Worst Econ professor
Okay, yeah. She is hard to understand. Actually very hard to understand due to her accent which isn't her fault. A little disorganized with her notes and lectures, however, she tries her best to answer questions and grades on a huge curve (which i really appreciate).Ppl giving her 1s probably just failed because they didnt try to learn hard enough.
Prof. Cati has a unique teaching style, but if you stay engaged and use resources like Unstuck AI, you can do well. The tests are challenging, but fair if you put in the work.
Doesn't speak english. NO real slides or structure to lecture, she just free balls content. Get ready to learnt the content yourself. Discussion is the most useful part if the course. She makes the exams way harder then the problem sets she assigns. only positive is she curves and weights final more if you do better in that. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!
Cati cares a lot about her students and makes herself available for you to learn the class material as long as you are willing to do so.
I hated this class. So hard to understand her and had to teach the material myself. Exams were so difficult
Legitimately does not speak english. Lectures are sooo bad. 0 structure to the class whatsoever. You will have no idea what notes to write or where you even are in the material. Literally just rambles about random things and goes on tangents during class. No idea how she is even a professor. Horrible, avoid 1000%.
Cati accent throws ppl off and topics are not organized but TA is helpful (plus lowkey he's cute ;)
Had her for both 201 and 202, both of which she has not been good for either. disorganized and complicated, id recommend avoiding if you can get into another class with any other professor. great representation of the bu econ department
Her class is extremely monotonous and boring. She DOES NOT make anything clear to you and always replies with a "maybe" just to piss you off. She genuinely doesn't have any empathy/respect for her students and will do everything to make your life hell. Go at your own risk.
Although she does curve, she's absolutely not fair when it comes to the difficulty of her exams. She'll test you like you've never been tested before and'll ask you to recall the most specific nitty-gritty information for the fill-in-the-blank questions in her (no MCQ) tests. Take this class w/ her if you want to kill your mental health & GPA! :)
She doesn't know how to teach and never will. Complete waste of time. Find a better professor b/c you might have to self-teach all the material yourself. Absolute pain to have her. Half the class stopped showing up!
Don't take this class unless you want to suffer. Chill old lady, but doesn't wanna help you out. I felt the course was also too rushed and she makes the concept more difficult than it needs to be. Absolutely unfair game.
This professor's genuinely so difficult to understand and talk to. Doesn't make any initiative to help at all. Although she seems nice, she has an extremely bad temper, especially right before exams, and will do anything to have you fail. Why? Her exams are not indicative of class materials. Worst professor at BU, by far. This isn't a joke
I changed her rating because the curve was very nice, but I didn't understand a word of what she said, she doesn't speak English fluently. Not a nice person and her office hours were useless, and she did a terrible job explaining and then kicked me out after 3 mins. avoid her at any costs, I have no idea how she became qualified to be a professor.
The class is an interesting class at least. The problem is Cati is unclear on her grading, deadlines, and expectations. Not all course materials are uploaded, and there is one huge group project that requires a presentation and a huge 5000+ word paper, so ensure to chose a good group. 2 non-cumulative exams, and really long problem sets.
She can't speak English. Just don't take her class, you'll fail if you are not her favorite kids in the class.
Literally the worst professor ever. Two faced
Cati.....is a smart woman but has a thick accent...passionate...took this class spring 2025, discussion was useless, but the undergrad ta was very helpful, cute, and seems like the only person who likes Cati.
She is a SB. CNMSB
You will have to use all your focus to be able to understand her in class, but once you lock in on listening to her, her lectures aren't too bad. She is very funny and very clear about her grading criteria and what will be on exams. People who don't think she's clear are people who didn't attend lecture.
Terrible teacher, have a thick accent. If your an econ major and thinking of taking her and want to actually learn something in her class think twice unless you just want to take her and not go to class and study yourself for the exam. Choose someone else as a professor if you need to take Econ classes. The test is paper.
Tests are the whole portion of your grade, but she clearly outlines what's on them in lectures. If you understand the homeworks and discussions, you'll do great in the class. Attend ALL discussions because sometimes it's really hard to follow her handwriting and teaching in lecture.
Do not, and i mean DO NOT, take her for any classes, especially if they're required for your major. The lectures were unorganised, too fast-paced, and because she has a really thick accent it's just hard to understand what she's trying to say. She's also really unclear on her grading and doesn't give good feedback. Overall, just a bad professor.
RUN!!DO NOT TAKE HER LECTURE! The only way to know what you're supposed to learn is by guessing from the homework questions. Exams are brutal for no reason: extremely long questions with very little time. It feels like she assumes students can read and answer instantly without thinking. The stress is unreal.
Do NOT take any of her classes you'll regret it. She can't even speak English
Cati gets a lot of flak for her accent and unorganized lectures, but she's actually a really nice professor.
