An awesome class especialy bc of the debates and slack attendance policy. Id take him again but he doesnt teach much.

Reggie knows whats up. I took his classes for four straight semesters and loved everyone of them. Take as many of his classes as possible, you won't regret it.

he is so funny! there is no attendance policy- but go, it helps a lot in the tests! he is really open and upbeat on everything, introduce yourself at the begining and he will love you all year!

Shareefy is the best professor your gonna get. He knows his stuff and you dont have an attendance policy, but going to class was always worth hit. He even helped me get out of jail!

Coolest teacher ever. No attendance policy, 2 test and 2 discussions, the whole semester. He's funny, easy, and discusses controversial topics. He goes over the material enough you could come to 1 class a week and know whats up. PS, watches Chappell

Dr. Shareef is the best teacher that i've ever had. I would take every course that i can when he's the teacher. I did little to nothing and got a B. I did however learn a lot, because he speaks so that you want to learn.

LOVE REGGIE SHAREEF!!! Never have actually WANTED to go to a class before. So interesting, easy, but if you really pay attention to him you'll learn A LOT. I recommend him all the time.

He is amazing. He will help you with anything you ask him to so don't be scared. His tests are kind of hard so study a lot and do especially well on the debates. To this day I still keep in touch with him and it has been over two years since I was in his class.

He is real smart and he is very helpful. If you can't do well in his class then you are just plain dumb

I had this guy numerous times for poli sci classes I would take any class this man offers. By far one of the best professors the university has to offer. Just a blast to talk to and he can really relate to anything that you can bring forth. Everyone should take at least one of his classes.

Awesome guy. The class consisted of two tests which were fairly challenging, and four debates (two of which were required). The subject matter was very interesting, and he'll play devil's advocate with you just to get you to argue. If you like to speak your opinion on real-world issues, then I definitely recommend the Shareef!

Dr. Shareef is one of the best professors at RU. I recommend taking any of his classes. You are exposed to real life situations, not just textbook information. Great info. on Bill of Rights and Supreme Court cases. No attendance policy, but you will want to come to class. Debates are a lot of fun, too!

Great professor! Grade is an average of 2 debates and 3 exams. Debates are easy and very fun. I wish I could take him again for another class. Highly Recommended.

AWESOME! He's my favorite teacher. He always makes class so so funny. and attendance is not mandatory, and he always cancels class. Last week we didn't have any class at all. I would highly suggest taking him if you can, he's a really good teacher and it's really easy and he wants it to be!

Very easy teacher you have 2 debates which he basically gives you an A if you do it and the exams are pretty easy if u go to class. Otherwise good prof and you learn a lot about life in class

There is no attendence policy, but you will never want to miss this class. You will have to participate in 2 debates then you just have your midterm and final. TAKE THIS CLASS!!! You will love it!!!

No attendance policy, open book take home group tests, once a week classes usually. Very intelligent, applies social psychology and organizational theory to public and foreign policy and politics. A novel approach and it will make you smarter and look at things better. He is extremely kind and if you ask him questions he will really inform you.

He is a great professor! He teaches students not only about what we need to know for the exam but also everything that he covers can be very useful in life. He wants his students to be well educated people and know their rights.

the best thing about shareef is that he has a sense of humor, he really lets the students decide their own views, he cancels friday classes all the time (YES!)and he reiterates everything that's on the test for days before it. take shareef for this class or any class- i can't imagine you'd ever regret it!

Awesome guy! Very cool, great sense of humor. Fairly light work load, but the material can get confusing and so can the tests are can be confusing as well, but he curves them. Class usually gets out early and he cancels every once in a while.

Dr. Shareef is a great professor. He really cares about his students and does everything he can to relate and help you learn. Your grade relies solely on exams so if you skip class you may fail easily. If you go to class you will learn a lot and he will make everything very clear. Show up to class, don't disrespect him, and you'll get a good grade.

My favorite professor in the political science department. He's funny and realistic. You can get a B if you don't come to class but if you want an A, you'll have to go. But you should enjoy it his classes

No attendance policy, but you will probably do better if you attend, especially on exam review days. He gave copies of the old exam as a guideline. Exams were multiple choice. I didn't use the book once.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Emails what happened in class and tells you what will be on the test or give you a study guide. Go to class because it is really interesting but you can skip if you absolutely need to. Super nice!! Talk with him after class so he knows who you are>>helps your grade!

Shareef is a GREAT professor. Even though I got a low grade, it was a very interesting class & you can tell he loves what he is doing. There is No Attendance Policy, but I suggest going to EVERY class and reading ALL the material. If you read all the material and go there is no way you won't get an A.

Great teacher but it would have been nice to have used more materials other than pieces that he wrote up; it started to feel like their was some bias in the material. Sends out the material through email but does not use D2L so you have to keep up with your own grade. Tests are easy if you study some before hand and the make up all of the grade.

Shareef is my favorite professor this semester. He isn't too strict and grades fairly easy. He doesn't have an attendance policy which is great sometimes. He's topics are relatable to current life as a young adult.

Shareef is a great guy, very funny, and extremely helpful. I rarely showed up to class but I kept up with all the material because he e-mails everything! He sends you what he wants you to read for the next class, I took notes and emailed him when I had questions, and he responds quickly. He gives advice about how to study and sends old exams.

Favorite Professor thus far in college. He is a funny guy who wants to have a relationship with each of his students. His lectures are interesting and you learn more than just politics. Great class. The information that he presented was very clear. In order to do well it is important to come to class where he can explain things even though he will email the material after class. The tests aren't bad if you review well.

Dr. Shareef is extremely educated in all the topics we discussed. There are readings in the coursepack and a few in the textbook, but he goes over everything in class. Dr. Shareef is an awesome professor. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO TAKE POSC 120 TAKE IT WITH HIM. His class was easy and he was very well educated on every topic we covered in lecture. He doesn't use D2L though but it didn't matter since there are only 3 exams. His sense of humor is refreshing and isn't scared to be real with you.

Dr. Shareef is the nicest and funniest professor ever. Clearly very educated on all the topics gone over in class, and explains them in many different ways so it can be clearly understood. As long as you attend class and review your notes before the 3 tests (only graded assignments in course) you will absolutely do well in this course.

Literally you don't even have to show up. He sends you the sample tests and notes to your email. I only showed up on test days and youll pass. The sample tests are your actual test.

Only bad thing about taking his class is that there are only 3 grads total. You take 3 exams and if you miss one you do not pass the class and he doesnt give make up exams. But he does give you your exam basically word for word to study at least a week before you take it

Great professor, goes hard on the lectures. Only three exams and can't miss them. He is so passionate about what he's teaching. Attendance is not mandatory and he sends out practice tests very similar to the actual test. Easy A!!!

Dr. Shareef is an amazing person but I would not take him again because of how he structures his class. Beware he does group projects for EVERY assignment so pick a good group! Attendance is definitely not necessary and dont bother buying the course packs. Didnt use it.

Dr. Shareef is very passionate about his class which makes it so much more enjoyable. The class is very much a discussion so learning is easy as long as you care. He emails the notes the night before so having them in class helps a lot.

Dr Shareef will go on semi-relevant tangents about his own opinions, and loosely connected topics. He's a very nice guy. Doesn't really promote class discussion, but that's ok because the class is simple. He provides everything you need to answer the take home exam questions (done in groups) exactly how he wants you to. One final group presentation

took both 300/335, half online cos covid. did miss a couple of classes but I liked his lectures, he can get off topic but just pay attention & read the articles he sends the day before and youre golden! I loathe group work but this wasnt as bad! He lets you pick your group and everyone just wants to pass! Got an A in both:)
