She is so great, very helpful. She explains everything with patience. A good teacher who takes her time trying to help student understand the subject. She even takes her time making helpful sheets explainng the material in other ways.

She is a really good teacher. I don't like math and I am not good at it, but she is so organized and explains everything so clearly that I had no problems with the class. I definately would recoomend her.

shes ****ing awesome, u do get a bit of hw, but she prints out all the notes & u just fill it in, & as long as u ask questions or ask her after class since ur too immature & stupid to ask during class, she will teach till u understand, shes really quirky & will joke around, shes like 26 goes to concerts and is actually cool fun and HOT

I have taken Rene's classes for 3 semesters now. I took her for Math 20, Math 129, and Math 130. Not only is she a WONDERFUL teacher, but she is also your friend. She teaches the class at elementary level so everything is easy and fun to learn. I recommend her to everyone!!!! Im not good at math and she made math more enjoyable. She is very helpful

I had her for two semesters and her classes aren't easy, but instead she actually teaches you the material. Who would have thought a teacher could do that?

Tests are really easy and she gives good study guides. Daily quiz with a partner. Gives VERY clear notes. Downside is the homework. Its online, hard, and time consuming. Its about 15% of your overall grade, which sucks. Doesn't require you to do math lab. Crams a lot of information in short amounts of time. Good teacher overall.

the only math teacher ive ever had who can actually MAKE U LEARN THE MATERIAL. She teaches u like ur in 5th grade, its great. She gives alota hw which sux but the quizes are EASY and all from hw assignments, quizes are gauranteed A's. Tests are ok but only have things only from notes. did i mention shes hot? not just hot, but HOTttttttttttttttttt

Business Calculus Class. Be wary. Good teacher, speed teaches through business calc, probably math 150 (calc) too. very intent on finishing the entire book. little time for review. If you take take this class, be prepared to put in long hours to understand the material. If you have other obligations, this is a hard class to keep up with.

I can't speak highly enough about Rene Price. I am someone who dreads math classes. Her method of using prepared notepackets, step by step instructions on an overhead, and answering every question with grace made the classes I was required to take actually enjoyable. She has a sense of humor, and appreciated a diligent student.

I compeltely struggle with math and thanks to her I fianlly finished my final math class. Only thing is no notecards, no dropped tests, but she does curve if necisarry. 60% tests 20% final 10% quizzes 10% HW

Great teacher. Makes the subject easy and her format also makes it easy to follow along. Quizzes are take home and hw is mandatory but you need to do the hw to learn the stuff anyways. The atmosphere is light and she is not too strict as to make thing boring. I got a B but I deserved it for slacking off towards the end.

Easy A!! I took her online class. It was SUPER EASY!!! She is such a nice teacher. She offers lots of help. The website was easy to use. The tests are multiple choice. Moderate homework, but you don't have to show your work. You get 2 chances to take the Exams and she keeps the highest grade. TAKE HER!

Best Math teacher I have ever had. She walks through every step slowly to make sure everyone is understanding. Her note packet is $5 and its the ONLY required text. The homework is done online which costs $72, but the amount of HW assigned makes the $72 worth it. She drops the lowest quiz, test and homework grades, almost guaranteeing a good grade

I took her hybrid class I totally recommend her if u don't like/understand math. I took math15 twice b4 and finally passed! Shes that good. HW is done online n for me that wrked cus it forced me to understand the problems, u can try a problem countless times till u get the right answer. Take her!

I took her hybrid class and even though I hate math her teaching-skills made it very clear to me. She also lets you use notes for quizes. Very professional, nice and full of knowledge. The class, however, is hard and there are A LOT of work, but if you can suffer through all the hard online-work you will be fine. I can strongly recommend her!

I took the hybrid which meant that there was very little time for the teacher to ineract with the class. Rene tkaes the time to walk you through every problem and make sure EVERYONE understands before moving on. She shows you multiple ways of solving problems and is open to other methods if any suggestions are made. She makes math fun. Outstanding!

I had to petition for her class, it was really full. Altogether I think she was a pretty fair professor. She's real fun and easy going and goes over the notes and any questions you have. I like it because she doesn't get off topic and yet her class was still enjoyable. I recommend only buying the online code and not the textbook.

She is very nice, helpful, and easy to talk to concerning questions about any homework or problems using the hybrid MathLab website. She is very thorough, and will have you prepared for math020. Mrs. Price is very thorough in teaching math. The only way to fail her class is if you slack off and don't pay attention. She provides great notes plus additional assistance, if needed. If you fail an exam, you have the opportunity of turning that "F" into a "C". She gives extra credit opportunities as well. Great teacher overall.

Mrs. Price gives notes prior to class so it is easier to follow her lecture. She used mymathlab to give out hwk which I liked because it has instant feedback and additional resources for help. Every week there is either a quiz or a worksheet which help prepare for tests. She is sweet and used techniques I haven't seen before. Take Her )

I love her, she is awesome, but... Her hw is worth so little of your grade and gives SO much. Her tests will make or break your grade. She is very clear and will always help you. She babies too much sometimes. She makes you get a binder and organizers for the class, which is very 6th grade. Its insulting. Oh did I mention accumulative final?

I love Price! I will admit, she does give a lot of hw and she does tend to go through lectures pretty fast but overall i love her. we go over notes she posts up on my gateway during class together which helped me out alot. i took her for math 20 as well and for both semesters we had a tutor that would hold tutoring sessions 2 days out of the week.

She's really nice. She only helps you if you ask her via email, other than that be prepared to go to the tutoring center. Her notes are pretty helpful and clear, her tests aren't hard if you do the online and "green packet" homework. I only missed two classes and have done fine. Don't buy the textbook, only the ebookmymathlab program. TAKE HER

Theres online homework every night but its a must. If you don't do it, you won't do so well in the class. Take her class, she's the best!

keep syllabus cause shes accurate with it. always do the homework and be there for tests. she gives you quizes once every week but its only like 4 questions. its kind of alot but shes super helpful. also go to her office hours if you need help she helps you alot more and is very clear

I'll be very honest here. This professor is good at explaining what exactly is required to solve math problem. The issue here is not that and instead, has an unbalance grading system. If your looking to pass this particular with an easy grade, then this class is not for you. I would highly recommend taking it with someone else who is a fair grader.

Mrs. Price is a great teacher! She's a awesome teacher that's really there for the student if you need her help. There is homeowork that needs to be done, but in order to really learn math you need a do that homework. Her test are based off her reviews so if you do good on her test reviews, you'll pass with flying colors. i would take her again.

She's wonderful. She goes through the chapters and sections clearly. She's kind. She'll clarify any questions. Textbook hw and online hw matter. She gives reviews before the test week. So kind and helpful.

Professor Price has been the only math instructor Ive ever had to make everything in math make sense. She clearly explained everything and it helps a lot more if you answer as many problems she gives you during class. Id highly recommend her to anyone who is unsure of what math professor they should take

Rene is a caring person, if you have problems with math she will help you out. She hands out quizzes, and there are 3 exams only. For the final we used note card for formulas, and other notes for the final Also for quizzes you can use calculator as well as on the final. Take her for math 40!

She is a good professor overall but makes the class very hard and gives out a little too much homework. She does give good lectures and is available outside of class, but you'll still have to study a lot and work very hard to get an A in this class.

Pretty good professor. Just be prepared to class by printing out lecture notes (you may need it for input during class) from Canvas and do the homeworks (a lot and on paper, not online). Rarely gave out extra credit (one point after the 1st midterm). She can be weird at some point during the semester.

Professor Price is a wonderful teacher and you will be able to pass her class if you do your homework and make sure you understand equations before you take a test. She responds to emails quickly and I feel like she truly cares about her students. I wish I took her for math 129 because she really explains everything in a comprehensible way. TY!

She was honestly a tough professor but she was very helpful and caring. She made videos of her notes so we can always look back at and had open zoom office hours for any assistance needed. Very tough grader but she will still give points out if she sees you moving in the right direction

This was my first ever online class, let alone math class. Ms. Price did a great job with the online format, it was easy to access and go through canvas. She will help! You do have to take A LOT of notes every week (they are outlined for you to print out), which directly correlate to the "homework". TESTS were the hardest for me. STUDY STUDY STUDY

I haven't had a math class in 30 years. Thank goodness I had Professor Price for Math 130 and 032. She really spends a lot of time and effort to make sure she's delivering everything she can to help her students succeed. She's available, she's a great communicator, and she makes easy to follow calendars that optimize how our brains works.

Class was 100% online. Professor Price is clear and concise with the requirements of the course and does an outstanding job preparing the weekly course modules. The few times I needed assistance, Professor Price responded quickly and could not have been more helpful. She's very accessible when help is needed. Easy(ish) class, great professor.

Most amazing math teacher I've ever had. Calc isn't easy - entirely new concepts that she walks through that make sense. Practice, practice, practice. Final is difficult with all the concepts combined. Make flash cards on the difficult topics and you'll be fine. Communicate with her and use group chats to help with the particulars - it will help.

The best professor! Very nice, understanding, and easy-going. I really don't like math but she made it really easy to understand. The textbook is an online purchase and the course is mainly taught by videos on it. Class time was spent going over material/tickets in the door, and groupwork to complete worksheets. EC obtained by presenting solutions.

This professor made math simple . She explains things in detail making it easy to understand . she responded right away to any of my questions & that i understood each step.

1st math class I took after not having math in a very long time and I was so afraid to even take a math course but I'm very happy I did with her! there is online homework but the group work will help you better understand the material as well if needed. She gives you some cheat sheets for each exam! overall loved the class and the professor

First off, this class is not easy. You really need to put in the effort in order to pass. Took a hybrid class and not a great test taker so really study for the exams. Used Pearson for hw which helped understand the notes so make sure you take good notes and practice as much as you can. Doing that helps with quizzes given every week based on notes.

Prof. Price's MATH130 class is challenging but worthwhile. She's caring and makes concepts comprehensible. Practice the material and use Unstuckstudy for study prep - it really helped me ace this course.

The professor is nice and caring. She also requires you to have Pearson to do homework. She helps you to understand the material more easily and assigns you to do a quiz every week. The test is not hard as long as you do well in your practice test.

Business Calculus is hard; it's math, but Professor Price makes it very easy to follow along and understand. She had 3 exams and a final that makes up 75% of your grade BUT, your final's grade can replace your lowest exam score, Lifesaver. If you show up every day to class, take notes, and STUDY, you will pass no problem.

I like Professor Price. I think she was one of my coolest Professors ever. She is so funny and nice. Very respectable and helpful as well. I had her for Math 100 in Fall 2025. Very strict on the notes and homework so you better do it or you won't pass the class. She does not offer extra credit so don't turn your homework in on time.
