easy class, insufferable professor. Overly political, attempted to use bully tactics to get students to subscribe to same political belief followed with "I don't even know if I was allowed to say that." I came to learn about development, not your political standing.

I loved this class. It was really interesting and basically self paced. We used an online resource to read the book and do the quizzes. You can retry them to get a better grade. It's a good amount of reading but if you do it, you'll do great. The little activities aren't required either, only the learning curves and end of chapter quizzes are!

You can easily get by in this class without watching the lectures. Everything you need is on the readings in Launchpad, but it's a lot of reading and questions to go along with them. If watching the lectures, they're very boring and she strays off topic very easily. Exams are through respondus, but she allows a cheat sheet.

Loved Dr. Babcock, she makes it easy to be engaged in the material, and cares about helping each individual if they need it. Class was always a good time, and though there was quite a bit of reading, the work load was doable and helpful to prep for exams, which do not include any trick questions, just comprehension!

I had to retake this class so I have some good advice. Stay up to date on deadlines... this class isn't difficult BUT deadlines are weird especially for the 16 week course and I ended up forgetting and missing a whole unit (why I needed to retake). If you do the assignments and legit take time to read the chapters (skim it) you'll be good.

Dr. Babcock is such a sweet woman. She has lots of stories and lectures are very interesting. However, the exams are nearly impossible and always contain questions that aren't covered in the book or in her lectures. She does give lots of extra credit to help your grade though!

Dr. Babcock is very sweet. Her lectures are reading off powerpoints and doing fill in the blank notes that are all posten on blackboard, so you don't really have to attend (mine was a big lecture hall anyway). Unit tests 4 times per semester. Online textbook, not necessary to read because of detailed notes.

I liked PSY 220 with Dr.Babcock. There is a lot of work, but you have until each unit test to turn it in. The unit tests are through lockdown browser, but you get one cheat sheet. Dr.Babcock gives 40 extra credit points. The best part was when she gave an alternant to the final exam. I would recomend PSY 220 and Dr.Babcock as a professor.

Loved her! So kind and understanding! You don't really need to read the book, just listen in lecture and DO THE LEARNING CURVES BEFORE THE EXAMS TO HELP STUDY. The exams are the worst part bc they're so random and obscure and use lockdown browser. But there is easy hw to help raise your grade too. Not a terribly hard class but you do have to work.

If you complete all the homework and do all the reading, you should have no issues. The material is interesting if you are interested in psychology.

Professor Babcock was great for this course, and I would highly recommend taking this course with her. There was a lot of work and reading, but it was all relatively easy. The exams are kind of tough, but she does give one cheat sheet that you can use. She also gives two extra credit options (which are worth 40 points), so those helped a lot.

This was an online course. We had 4 proctored exams and then quizzes for each chapter (easy). She didn't assign any papers nor did we have any other homework! She even allowed us to retake the exam if we aren't happy with our grade. Awesome, warm, low stress professor.
