Dr. Bricker tries to teach you about the subject but gives little to no direction on assignments. She expects WAY too much out of a 3000 level class, maybe she thinks she is teaching a Masters class. She's an organized disaster. World civ. was fairly easy. She's on a 100 point system with LOTS of extra credit. If you don't like lectures, well, welcome to college, but that's how she teaches. This class is not very organized to say the least. The course schedule changed several times, and assignment criteria was often not clear. Also, don't expect to get any grades back until grades are due at the end of the semester. However, I learned a lot in this class solely because of the excellent readings she assigned.

Professor Bricker is very scatterbrained and has a hard time remembering things she states in class. She obviously cares about her subject, but it can be hard for students to care about her class because going to class seems pointless, but attendance does count. Advice- take notes outside of class from the book and follow along in the class lecture

Dr. Bricked was a whirlwind from the beginning. The first test we ever took she accidentally put two right answers on most questions and ended up giving everyone 100s and bringing donuts to apologize. Then she mixed up herself due dates and ended up giving us a free test grade, followed up with donuts. She made her final a short answer.
