Run away from this class, she is no help, new to HCC and doesn't go over any of the course material from the reading. Much of my class and the class after mine was confused, and I told her and she did nothing.
Renee is really cool to be honest, and super laid back. She gives extra credit but if you need extra help she's there. She's pretty straight forward and has a great sense of humor we have fun moments in class never to boring.. she uses flip style teaching therefore for NO LECTURING with is a plus but always makes sure we know the material.
You will need to ready all chapters before hand, otherwise, you will not understand what she talks about in the class. She does't give lectures. All she does in class is ask you if you have questions and work problems with your group, and she will explain those problems. The tests are hard, so she gives opportunities to make bonus.
Read before you come to class. If you have a question you need to ask, email her or post to db. If not, she moves on to the class activities which count as a grade. If you miss class you get a ZERO. When she does give a lecture it is usually funny and she makes references to things in the news. If you miss class she will send you lots of emails
Renee says she hates to lecture but she honestly does a great job keeping us interested. She makes you have to think about something instead of just telling you what the answer is -she kept telling us she wanted us to learn to think about everything and she was right! I am making better decisions now that I am thinking about my opportunity cost on
lots of group work, and exams are hard if you don't read the book. I failed the first exam but still got a B out of the course because she let me know I could do better if I opened the book. We had to do a bunch of chapters but she still made it fun by letting us talk about what we read, not long lectures at all which helped kkeep me interested.
She doesn't teach, while in class she just expects you to do group work using your knowledge from textbook. She doesn't explain material as it is presented in the book or on tests. Everyone is class is confused. She doesn't seem knowledgeable about the topic as students have had to correct her multiple times in class. Overall, hard and unclear.
She is a great teacher and gives a lot of extra credits so you can pass her class.
She won't let you fail. I didn't plan on doing much but she will keep talked to me after the first exam and told me she wasnt going to watch me fail. she wanted me to try harder and ask questions. When we had a group project andn my partner wouldnt respond she told me she would be my partner but she still made me do all the work. I had to learn
She teaches flip so you have to read everything on ur own. In class we work on problems in groups and she gives lots of quizes. She is clear cut if you don't put in the work you won't pass. If you ask for help she will go over aproblem but if you just sit there she won't. Her examples and videos helped out a lot but I hated the book.
Great Professor. She really wants you to succeed and will do everything inher power to make that happen. Will take again.
Took this class online and from the start she reached out to me to go over a few mistakes I made on HW. She mad this class feel like a real class, I wanted to log in just to see if she had posted a new video. The way she gets your attention is by explaining why things are important to you which helped me focus. I'm taking her micro class next.
Great prof if u want to learn econ take her. She says she hates lecturing but she is great at it! Makes the class easy to understand and is always available. Quick with emails and quick to reach out when you miss a deadline.
This is a hard class. To much homework and it is confusing. Only 3 exams so not fair if you miss one. Find another person to take this class. Shee does not care if you miss a homework she will not let you make it up. videos are hard to watch and there are not alot of them.

She is the worst professor i have encountered in my studies. Homework alone is as hard as anything and will not recommend anyone to take her class if you care about your GPA. She teaches nothing, just assigns billion of tough homework with no help. Run from her!!
I took this class online, while working 40 hours a week plus I have two kids. The class is so well organized, you read the chapter, watch her video, do the homework and take the exam. She does not accept late work so don't even ask her no matter what your excuse is. You have to remember to keep up with discussion board posts but it was ok.
She comes off laid back but she isn't a push over. If you don't do the work she won't just give you an A. There is no way to take this class and not read. She won't just give you an answer she makes you look it up first. I hate to admit it but I learned something. Great teacher but very hard class.
Not very helpful, I didn't understand and she tried to help but I still didn't get it so, I had to drop her class or risk getting a low grade.
You have to do all the assignments to pass this class. She is easy to get along with but she does not bend when you ask to do makeup work. She gives up to 30 points of extra credit a class so make sure you earn every point. The exams are hard and so is the HW. I managed to get an A but I had to work hard. I know exactly what opportunity cost!
Good Teacher
If you need a professor who lectures this is not the professor for you! She doesn't lecture- she is more focused on group work. Gives a lot of extra credit points, but exams are TOUGH. I've take her for MACRO and MICRO and got a B and it was well worked for.
This teacher does not know how to calculate!!! She didn't give me the extra credit points, when I asked her she kept arguing she included them, she clearly can't calculate. She doesn't provide proper test reviews, doesn't want to do any work and barely replies to emails. Do Not Take Her if you are not an economics Pro, you'll mess up your Gpa!
The class is hard!! but she helps out alot. If your use to classes where you do nothing and get a A don't take this class. I took this class online and she kept sending me emails making sure I understood the book or when I missed a deadline. I didn't study at first but she really cared about my grade and about me doing my best. Wow.
I think her class is set up like an economy. Every resource we need to pass is there; classmates, book,Aplia,extra credit, and herself being the scarcest resource. She does not lecture, so be ready to read a lot. Most of graded work is online. This class teaches time management and resource allocation. You get out of it what you put in.
Professor Renee Edwards was great! Granted I only went to class for the first 5 classes for the whole Spring 2015 semester. Attendance is definitely not mandatory, she stops taking attendance after a certain date. She gives SO much extra credit, which usually involves attending events or lectures at other campuses. Tests and HW are ALL online.
She lectures if you ask a question, but she refuses to read the powerpoints to you. She is always available during office hours and is able to explain everything until you get it. Class is really clear but this is a hard subject so if you don't study she won't just pass you. Be sure to earn the 10 points extra credit for each exam. It hleps.

I have never been pushed so hard before. I hated this class but she made sure that I did every bit of work and even did study sessions with me when I just didn't get it. She acts like she is hard but she really wants you to do well. Econ is hard, but she will work with you until you get it but she won't do the work for you. Great person.
Class was horrible. Homework really had nothing to do with the exams and they were extremely hard. Would not recommend this professor to anyone.
Prof Edwards is great, but this is not an easy A class. I havent taken a class in 10 years and she reached out to me and offered me any extra help I wanted. It was an online class. She does a lot of videos so you have to watch all of them if you can't learn by yourself. Make sure you ask her questions, she is quick to give feedback .

I took this course hoping to be taught economics, and what I got was a professor who didn't want to be there and who didn't want to teach. She made us work in groups without teaching, and when I asked her a question she told me to read a certain part of the online book. I did not like this class or the teacher.
Totally unorganized. Constantly told us conflicting stories. Her teaching method is ineffective. Students are essentially left to fend for themselves with the textbook. She may as well have not even showed up to class, based on the lack of impact that she has on the success of the students.
doesn't care about her students. she seems to only be there for self interest. doesn't have an effective teaching method, everything is scripted. thinks she is above you and doesn't care if you fail. she will laugh in your face and then lie to you.
This "instructor" is not there to teach, she is there to collect a paycheck, she only shows up and plays with her hair, gets angry when students ask questions or when we simply want her to talk to us about economics, she constantly complains about being in the classroom wasting time, your teacher is the website we use not "instructor" Edwards.
This professor is definitely not worth your money or time. You are better off teaching yourself off YouTube videos. I have never come across a professor who lacks so much in so many ways. She is of no help, not resourceful, not friendly and shows no interest in her students. If you care for your gpa stay away. I will be reporting her and the school
This professor was the best I have ever seen. She has you do the work, but is there if you need her and answers any questions you may have. I would definitely take her class again
Just a classic example of a mediocre profesor. Don't even bother showing up for class. The class is based on book reading and doing Aplia homework. However, if you have question don't even bother asking. She is going to confuse you even more. I know this will sound as a pompous statement but most of the time we ended up correcting her mistakes.
Took online. Lots of HW but saving grace are the videos. If you don't watch them you won't pass. Exams are open book but you have to apply the definitions. I took her for Macro too. She's quick to respond & does study sessions

She is great. Exams are hard but only if you don't study. I learned after first exam that I was going to have to read the book. She let me makeup work so make sure you ask her if you can. she won't let you take a makup like some professors and I told her she should drop lowest test grade.
don't ask if you can take a exam over again, she will tell you no. She is really nice but she won't curve the exams. Anytime I had a question she responded immediately but I still kept scoring Bs on exams. You have to read the book and watch the videos if not you will not do well. I got an A but only because I read the book and did homework
It seems she is a lazy teacher who says, "you teach yourself and come here to ask questions only." Not really, what I paid for. She also says, "the tests are nothing like the homework." So I am always puzzled once I take the exams. Not to mention the exams are very difficult as well as well as the homework. This was probably one of the worst prof.
She teaches this class like a real college professor does. I got an A but I had to work for it. A lot of people in the class were upset because they just want to sit and take easy exams and do no work. Way too much HW but she will reset if you mess up. Exams are online and you have to think so if you don't have time take someone else.

I didn't take her at HCC. She's the supporting professor for my online class at UHD, and she does most of the teaching. I didn't learn a thing from my main professor. She is one of the BEST online instructor I've had. She has online sessions through Zoom meeting where she explains the materials and answer questions. Straightforward & good professor
She has to be one of the best teachers ever. I had a hard time understanding the material and she just kept following up with me after every assignment to make sure i understood what I missed. Make sure you use her checklist to study with because alot of the questions on the exam are from that. She breaks things down so you can get it.
This lady is great. She is super kool and uses things in the news to teach us Econ. Everything she does helps this class to become relevant. She really wants her students to know to think which at First was hard. Tests are open book, homework every weekend. Subject is boring but she makes it worth it. Plus she looks good!
I took her last semester and just checked and got a B, had to work hard for it. I am in her micro class now and she is great. She helps you out alot on the problems. The book is confuisng but you have to read it. She says she doesn't lecture but when she does it is great. She is the best. I hope to get a A this time!!
Lots of homework in this class, every week. She is really nice but also super strict so you can't get her to open up things you missed but she said she does drop one. I have her now for macro had her last semester and got a B but lost of work. not an easy A, unless econimcs is your major.
She's pretty cute. Anyways, she is the type of professor who doesn't accept lazy student. You better do your homework and study or else you'll fail. Sometimes she'll lecture. I prefer that she should lecture all the time. This would improve students score. However, she says, "everything is in the book". Well, we don't need the professor then?
She is great and I really like this class. The book is hard but you have to apply the cost of doing the work to your opportunity cost of not doing it. She is fun but acts real strict when you ask for extensions. She doesn't let you take an exam over and she doesn't drop your lowest grade. I just signed up for her other class .

Favorite class I took this year. Renee makes class fun and uses great examples so you understand concepts and can explain why and she is more than happy to help. If I could take a class with her again I would. There is a lot of work but if you do not finish she will remind you.
Get ready to learn by yourself. The fist day of class she says she doesn't lecture. Tons of homework, EVERY WEEK you will have to do one or two writing assignments, quizzes, and prep questions (easy quizzes about videos she posts instead of lecturing).+ 4 test. Guess who grades the students, you! You will be assigned 2 students to grade. Good Luck
Most disorganized professor I have ever had, took her a while to respond to my emails. Most of this course is self taught, you will have to read and figure it out on your own, never again!
Loved this class, if I could take her again I would. She posts everything online and you have work due every week. Use the class time to go over any problems you do not understand or to watch the videos. If you are used to just showing up you will fail. I finished with a A and I know I deserved it after all my effort.

Disorganized professor, I have no issue reading a lot but she was so inconsistent with the homework assignments . Had trouble reaching her via email, got graded incorrectly on a quiz and she never changed it. Please avoid her!
class time is spent working in groups and you have to read the book. If you ask her a question she explains it really well and it makes sense. She should lecture in class and let us do homework at home! I like her but i had to do a lot of work and you have to read the book or you will fail. Professor Edwards is a super helpful professor as she's always willing to give feedback! I took her for the online minimester for a transfer credit & there's 3 exams and a final. If you have an A after your 3rd exam you can opt-out of the final. There's discussion boards you can do for extra credit & homework is similar to tests. Easy class!!
I loved this 5 week class. She responds to emails quickly. Although this is an online class, you have to learn. Her exams are through a program that doesn't let you access other tabs, and the webcam records you. If you want a blow off class, don't take her. If you get a 90 and don't have missing assignments, you can be exempt. Study for exams.
8 WK online U work for ur grade. Work was not hard, is based on videos/txtbook. just quizes and "HW" which R also quizes about 15-25 Qs ea. A lot of discussion boards, 3 tests 25 questions & 1 final 50 Qs. you cant cheat on the tests, u take it in a program that records you and cant access other web pages. u jst have to learn her way of teaching
Took summer online class, from the start class has due dates. You have to do the work and exams are not tricky but everything is covered. Discussion board posts each week and she responds to you so don't try to fake it. 3 exams and final, you do not have to take final if you have an A on exams. I am taking her again, just do the work.

She reads everything and then lets you resubmit, do it right the first time. 3 exams and a final, I got an A on first 3 so dind't take the final. Exams are done with web camera the software is hard to load do not wait until the last minute.
She is amazing! Economics is elective for my major but I feel so lucky choosing her class. She doesnt like lecturing too much, we need to put more effort on reading the materials, watching video and practice by doing homework and discussion board regularly. Has 3 tests, 1 final which are 25 questions each. Includes discussion posts and homework assignments. In order to pass must study, watch videos, and actually learn. Didn't like her tests b/c she records you on Respondus, can't really cheat so that sucks. No dropped grades, evaluation is extra credit. One of my worse professors. No essays needed.
Loved the set up, all the lectures are online and the solutions videos so if you miss class you can still get it and you can rewatch them. helpful. 3 exams and questions about the videos so you have to watch those. works any problems out in class. exams are straight forward with 1 or 2 harder questions. she makes you have to think. great teacher

Beginning of each module she puts what needs to be learned for exam. Read the chapters, learn the concepts, and pass the class!

I was a little worried when I first read the review for professor Edwards but after taking her summer 1 Econ class, it really wasn't that bad. You can definitely pass this class without the book and just follow the prep and homework. Remember this is a "flip" teaching style so know how to teach yourself to go into more depth to understand the topic
Very few lectures and more class time for finishing assignments. All coursework is on canvas, including exams on lockdown browser. This is great because you can complete assignments on own time, just complete before the due date. A great teacher that is willing to help and explain any questions. easily doable A!
Great class. I would take her again, got a B but did not read as much as I could. Class is set up online so if you mniss class don't worry. You have to read ahead because she has you take quizzes before she lectures which is weird but it actually helped me get a better grade.
Overall Professor Edwards is a wonderful teacher. My Advice to you is to show up to class, or you will miss something. I had to learn that the hard way, but once I was committed I did pass.
I wouldn't recommend her as a professor if you are the type of student who needs a lecture in order to learn. Most of the class is done online despite not being a hybrid course. This class was mostly a self-learning course. If you dont read the chapter & you dont get help from YOUTUBE videos, you wont pass. Would rate her 4/10 on helpfulness.

This was the hardest class I ever had!!
She is unorganized. Changed due dates and assignments abruptly. But she gives good feedback and replies promptly. Her class is not easy and I fully relied on YouTube videos to pass the class. Extremely self taught. Her practice tests do not prepare you for the actual exams. You will have to do a lot of work on your own.

3 exams, no final all exams are open book but you have to do the practice exams if you aren't gogn to get the book. Discussion board posts are easy but you have to document your source if not using the book. Gives good feedback and answers emails quickly but will give you a zero until you fix discussion boards.

Class is very self taught as she makes it clear that she does not lecture over assigned chapters . I learned a lot from the online videos as opposed to her class. Due dates would change frequently and made the class feel rather unorganized. There were discussion boards, practice exams, and 3 exams with lockdown browser. I would not recommend.

Hard tests, but drops lowest scores on everything. Makes you work for it, but final grade curved. Rospondus lockdown browser causes nerves, but open notes/book/PwrPt. Print out everything.
Terrible professor, shes so disorganized. Had trouble reaching her for an online class. This course is self taught so you have to read and watch videos, some guidance would have been moved. I withdrew from this class and took Prof Ed Mineman instead.
The professor wasn't very helpful. When I asked her questions about problems I couldn't understand. She would not respond back or didnt know the answer.

EXTREMELY unorganized, rude & lazy. It is a "flipped" course, all sections are in the same Canvas board & adds to ongoing confusion. Refused to post course material for exams in clear order (no idea what the exam will actually cover) & when concerns were raised by multiple students she did not provide clear answers. DROPPED IT, do not take her.
Taking this class now & need to let everyone know you can not cheat in this class! I failed the first exam & went to talk to her. She showed me the study guide and gave me a book and on my second exam I made an 80 and she gave me extra credit to meet with counselor on how ot manage my time. Learn from me-use the study guide or you will fail!

Ms. Edwards is a great professor, fast talker, idk why she isn't rated higher! she really cares about students and will stop class to explain something in more detail with real world scenarios. she gives tons of EXTRA CREDIT, and provides a TON of resources to help. she takes votes to let students choose grading and course load & she's very pretty
Most unreasonable teacher I have EVER taken. I have to say from the beginning she did not have the correct syllabus, WORKLOAD HEAVY. Get ready to spend 3hrs a day studying. Dont bother emailing since she doesnt give direct answers. She does not release exam results, she adds random assignments last minute and due in less than a week. DONT TAKE HER!
Regret taken her class. she has made my life like a mass. she is not organized, like to jump between subject. always seems in rush when she talks, its like she talk to herself.
She adds random assignments and EXAMS without notifying a week before its due (worth 60%). She doesnt give a legit course calendar. Please, save your GPA and do not take her.. very unhelpful professor and does not answer question. She answers with another question and you wont get your point across. Workload is insane for it being a core class.
Her course is terribly disorganized. Nothing she gives you makes a lick of sense, she tells you the book required, but then tells the class that reading the textbook isn't effective. Grading is terrible, she's mean, she doesn't give an accurate syllabus or any kind of a callendar indicating what you'll be studying .. So many complaints. Don't take!
to funny! group got caught cheating and rather than read text book they complain about how they are going to write bad reviews daily. truth is they aren't college material and think somehow writing bad reviews means something. they never learned opportunity cost! Trust me in the beginning you'll panic, but after the first 2 weeks you'll find out how easy she really is. She is not lazy, she just knows her marginal benefit & marginal cost, trust me you'll pass this class and you'll love her.
My experience was horrible, everyone else's was horrible too. I tried talking to her and they never considered anything that was said. I talked to other students and the professor curved everyone's grade except mines. The professor assured me I would fail ever since I started the class.
Just do what is required and follow the rules and you should be fine. The homework you can do there times and the questions are the same so full credit. Exams you could do 2xs and questions are new. But you must read. 8 hours per exam and you should get an A no problem.
Very easy class. HW due once a week she used Inquizitive which was very fun and easy to use. Quiz once a week on Canvas. Exam every 3 chapters or so. I loved the way the class was structured. My one and only complaint is her peculiar grading style on some things, and the final exam was ridiculous to say the least. she really wont budge on grades.
Easy class. only issue is a strange rubric for a major book project. to be specific, there was a ridiculous requirement of not uploading journal entries within 48hrs of each other. seems pointless in my opinion. wont budge with grading no matter what. final exam was plain silly. overall great class. follow instructions and you will get an A.
Professor Edwards keeps in touch with students to make sure they understand the course. You can ask her any question related to the course and she will help you. She is also responding quick to the e-mail.
She had all of the assignments open and ready to work on since the beginning of the semester. Take advantage of this and get ahead! Getting your assignments out of the way will help. Take notes over the HW quiz questions and textbook and you will pass the tests. She tends to add a few more assignments. Must be self motivated. Complete everything
One of the worst professors Ive ever had. Her exams require you to submit your work but she still takes points off and doesnt fix it. Doesnt properly answer questions. Her grading is so confusing and she doesnt explain discussions properly. Everyone in my whole class was so confused on what to do and she was no help.
Professor Edwards cares about her students success and from the beginning of the course she asks questions on what motivates you so she knows how you function so she can help you get your work done! Do your work , she responds fast to e-mails and gives you extra credit so you can improve your grade. I would take her class again!
Everything was ok except for the 3 discussions. They were only 1 point each and you would think it's easy. BUT NO, she doesn't grade it by your work, she grades the discussion by the feedbacks you give to other people. My feedbacks weren't good enough for her so I got 0 for my discussions and that was 10% off my grades. DISCUSSION WASTE OF TIME.
Professor Edwards is the WORST professor I have ever had. She is very unorganized, no class lectures, no notes. Even though she does not require textbooks, she does not provide any materials helpful. She makes her discussions difficult to understand and she is very rude when you try to ask her for help. She'll either ignore you or answer you in a way that will make you feel dumb. This class will kill your GPA.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She does not teach and when she does, and you try to learn ask questions about it, she asks you another question and makes you feel dumb for it! You won't learn anything in this class. I got an A because I teach myself or read most of the time, but this professor does not help at all she won't help you. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS.
Read students' feedback for her since 2015. She's still same as herself in past: unorganized, unhelpful, grading unfairly, unclear grading scale, condescending, messy due date, unpublished exams' results, etc. Read and work in group as she's never taught you anything. You won't learn anything from her class. Don't waste money and ruin your GPA!
DON'T TAKE HER ... This professor is not fit to teach this type of classes, this course is known to be stressful and this professor makes it harder and near impossible to pass. I know that more than half the class dropped or failed. Discussions takes days to prepare and then she grades based on the feedback you give for other students!
She wants to prove that youre dumb and shes always right. Her gradings unclear, her syllabus and class canvass messy. Half of first semester she doesnt care of students at all. In last month of semester, shes like lovely mother with midnight bedtime horror stories. You dont deserve to deal with her troubles. Leave her aside and move on!
Since the beginning she was very unorganized Me and my fellow classmates did not learn a single thing, instead relied on outside sources. Her discussion boards were the biggest waste of time and likely impossible to get full credit. The tests were very hard and you need to submit your work, even on multiple choice questions. PLEASE DON'T TAKE HER.
Professor Edwards was absolutely wonderful. Very topical subjects relating to economics and politics, which is what you want. Very humorous and extremely knowledgeable. One of my favorite professors of all HCC professors. Participate in discussions and contribute to the conversations and you can be sure that she will have your back.
50 minute time limit for 25 question multiple choice tests. And you have to write an explanation for every question. No one I know got an A on a test. She took a month and a half to "grade" my exam (it was already auto graded but she kept changing my grade. At one point I had a -1. How???). Save yourself the stress and don't let her ruin your GPA.
One of the worst professors I've ever had to deal with. Professor Edwards is the most unorganized professor ever! A waste of time for useless discussion for 2 points which requires tons of work. Don't waste your time or your GPA
She would tell you to call her, and then shed never pick up. She would say things like oh you passed the class, so its okay if I didnt include the remaining portion of your exam. Legit she is psychotic, manipulative, narcissistic, and downright careless. She doesnt care about anything, she acts like shes there for you when she isnt. Stay away
Never have I encountered a person with such an ego and absolute 0 interest for teaching. You're on your own and she makes that clear, take her courses as a last resort or if you're 100% committed to paying tuition to be self taught. Exams are 25 q's, 90 mins, and then submit explanations for everything in 24 hrs. Easy grade, not worth the grief
Professor seems to be a good person but midway through our classes semester she deactivated grading and stated that we should be able to figure it out on our own. The problem with this is here grading criteria is all over the place. There is many more things wrong with this professor and her class structure but I cant fit anymore. Do not take.
She only grades the midterm and final. She does not teach anything whatsoever. This professor expects you to know everything and doesn’t help with anything. Please do not take her! It is really not worth the stress. Worst professor I have ever had.
Horrible!! Only two grades for the entire class: Midterm and Final Exam, which is bad because of you do poorly on either one your grade will reflect. She gives two extra credit opportunities that don't affect the grade. She takes forever to reply to all messages. Do not take her!!!
Professor only gave TWO grades in the entire class, midterm and final exams. She also makes you show explanations on each questions on the exams and does not give enough time to explain how you got your answers. Takes forever to respond and also gives poor feedback.
You will spend a lot of time trying to figure out her instructions, which are usually unclear. She is not helpful at all when you ask questions. Only the midterm and the final are graded, extra credit is pointless. Also, she is a tough grader. For the sake of your mental health do not take this Professor!
PLEASE DO NOT take this professor!!! She 100% deflects your questions and tells you to go to the syllabus. I had two grades, a midterm and final. I passed my midterm and she brought my grade down to a failing grade. She won't let you see what you answered wrong on the test so pretty much her word is Final. If you do take her show ALL OF YOUR WORK.
This professor is extremely unprofessional and it's as if she wants her students to receive bad grades. She gives absolutely no feedback, responding to not email nor phone call and your grade is dependent only on her midterm and final. Her instructions are very unclear, and she requires explanations for every question on the final. Avoid her.
Classwork on McMillan which is a poor copy of Connect. Major project completed within first 3 weeks over chapters not yet assigned so read in advance. Assignments are due on Fridays so check in often. After the major project, class is pretty much a breeze.
There is one asinine project that is due pretty quickly and is graded very harshly which drastically brought my grade down as it is 30% of your final grade. DO NOT TAKE. drops 2 homework grades and has minimal extra credit. One test was structured poorly and was given 20 minutes for 24 reading heavy questions. This is my lowest grade to date
Overall fairly easy. She contradicts herself during lectures very frequently, but if you read the textbook and don't ask her any questions, it's definitely an easy A. I find the way she incorporates AI into her assignments interesting and innovative - one of the only things I enjoyed about this course. Says concerning things frequently.
Lectures were like a rollercoaster, often discouraging yet occasionally insightful. The workload was manageable but extensive, with a pivotal 30% project determining success. Overall, the course offers valuable learning opportunities for those prepared to tackle its twists and turns.

DO NOT TAKE HER. Took her for an online class, and she had one project that determines whether or not you pass. She does not personally grade her assignments and is super hard to reach. Her project is beyond confusing and she refuses to give clear criteria and failed the whole class on this project.
Avoid this professor at all costs. She's extremely unhelpful, barely responds to emails, and your grade depends solely on two exams. Try using Unstuck AI for study prep - it's more reliable than this class.
She made things needlessly confusing
The professor has a terrible grading criterion, and if you ask her to give you further instructions, she won't. Don't take her class, and don't be fooled by her nice tone when she speaks because she doesn't care about you. Overcomplicates and contradicts herself often.
I took this class online and its the easiest thing ever. Dont be worried by the other comments because most of them are quite old. The whole class is asynchronous, so if you just submit all the textbook assignments, you will at least get an A. All of the assignments are textbook readings through Knewton, and you just read and answer questions
Theres so many bad reviews but overall, the homework is easy, only a few assignments and can be done within the first 2-3 months.
Lectures were fast and easy, can be done with the whole course in the first 2-3 months if you actually lock in, the bad reviews almost made me not take her as a professor, but I suggest you take it if you don't want the struggle and want to get it over with.
