WOW is all i can say. I hate math with a passion but this lady made it enjoyable! thats hard to do! She knows what she is talking about & isnt out to confuse/fail anybody she just wants success for you, which cant be said for all of CGCC's Math teachers..Textbook is a must, find one w/out the code though she doesnt use it. Dont miss class!

Awesome math teacher. I hate math and had doubts about a female teacher but she is super helpful and understanding. I hate to say she is EASY because that makes people choose her for that reason, but she was just a super chill and nice teacher who made the class easy on you!

Miss Morales was super helpful. She is really concerned with our success and really cares. I haven't taken math in over 10 years and she made it so manageable. We didn't use the MML, so find a used book without the code and save yourself some money! Good luck!

Mrs. Morales is an excellent teacher! She is extremely helpful and wants all of her students to succeed. Ask questions, do your homework and show up to class and you will be just fine on the quizzes and tests. An excellent teacher I would recommend to anyone!

She is awesome! I struggle with math but was able to pull off an A! She doesn't pressure you which makes it easier to feel comfortable learning. I didn't have to share in classroom settings which took away the fear of being wrong. She will help you with anything one on one. Again simply amazing

Mrs. Morales is by far one of the best math instructors that I have had. She knows how to teach in "laymans terms" and make things click for the students. At first, I was dreading the course, but she made me really feel at ease and is so approachable. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in taking MAT142.

I was so scared to take this class since I hate math! I fell behind in class due to some personal/medical issues and Mrs. Morales was so kind to work with me to make up assignments. I would've failed the class otherwise. I ended up with a C, but this is an excellent outcome considering I almost failed the course. Thank you for all your help!

Hands down, the best math teacher ever! I'm glad I chose her, she knows what she's doing and is very helpful and lenient. I wished she taught every math class. She has conversations with everybody and doesn't exclude any student. HIGHLY recommend her class because she's cool and so pretty!

Renee is awesome! I think that she really cares about her students and is more than willing to help every out if you need it. Also, when you ask a questions, she does not make you feel dumb or act like you should know the material. If you show up to class and do the homework you should be good to go. Also, she relates to students.

BEST TEACHER EVER

Miss Morales is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. If only I had teachers like this in high school, I would've done so much better in math. She has a way of explaining things so that it's not overly complicated. Her quizzes are fair and she cares about her students. I wish she was teaching my next math class!

Dr. Morales is super sweet! I hate math but she made it bearable. On every quiz you get a page of notes front and back. Usually ends lecture early.

Mrs. Morales is by far the best math teacher I have had both in college and in high school. Her tests are multiple choice. She usually ends the class early. Mrs. Morales makes the concepts being taught very understandable and does not give much homework! If you need extra help she allows you to sit in one of her other classes.

Awesome teacher! Never liked math,but I actually enjoyed this class! Gives points for attendance! You will definitely learn things to apply in real life in this class! chill teacher, (not moody and very approachable) and no surprises on exams! Allows notes & calculator for exams!!

This teacher is very helpful and she gives you everything you need to be successful in her class. She always prepares her students for upcoming tests and the homework is not overwhelming. I would totally take one of her classes again!

Best teacher ever. Very clear, no surprises, very nice, focuses on useful math, and homework isn't time consuming. If you skip regularly you'll likely fail. She made my last math class I ever have to take a breeze. It's worth adjusting your schedule to get her class. She does require a "math project" but it's the easiest A you'll ever get.

All I can say is, where was this teacher when I was in high school?! She's so smart and nice knows how to teach at my level. And she's so easy going and approachable. Enroll in her class early because her classes fill up fast!

I took her for math and it was very easy. She cares about making sure you understand what is being taught and teaches it in an understandable way. She gives out homework almost every day but it's not a lot, I usually get it done before my next class starts. I would definitely take a class with her again.

If you have trouble with math, This is the lady you need to take! She helped me get the things that no other teacher could get me to understand. I have taken Instructor Morales for MAT091 and MAT142, and can honestly say, I will take no other instructor for math.

I have gone out of my way to take her for my final math class. I hate math and just want to get through it. if you show up she is clear on explanation and to the point. i'm not a self teach type person so showing up to class isn't an issue for me but she does take attendance worth points. Homework load was easy/ reasonable. she makes math bearable

Mrs. Morales took over our Statistics class last minute due to a personal emergency from our original instructor and she was fantastic! She really knew how to explain statistics in 'real-life' rather than just blurting out numbers & symbols like other teachers. Really happy that she took over and would take her again as a math instructor!

Professor Morales was a long-term substitute for this statistics class and was absolutely fantastic. She graded fairly, and really cares about her students. She takes extra time to make sure everyone understands the concepts. I would highly recommend her.

Prof. Morales was great as a last-minute sub for our stats class. She wants to help the students, so ask whatever questions you have! She also tells you what will be on the tests/quizzes, which was super helpful. Great teacher!

She came in as a sub with not much expectation to teach the rest of the course, but she did the best she could with what she had and made it work out greatly. She was almost too forgiving

Mrs. Morales is an amazing professor, she makes math easy. As long as you show up to class and study for the quiz with the review she provides(which is super simple) its an easy class to pass. She helps relate math to the real world and makes getting up for a 7am class a lot more interesting. Definitely Recommend!

Professor Morales allowed our class to fix errors on some tests to earn back half the points, as well as extra credit opportunities. Many chances for students to boost their grades.

Mrs. Morales is super nice! She does give homework but its reallt just an easy grade, the only thing I struggled with were the test but she let me take them anytime the week of the test in the testing center.

I usually HATE math, but Professor Morales makes it easy to understand, that for once in my life I passed math with an A! She makes it easy to understand and is always willing to help you find alternative ways to understand the materials.

Mrs. morales is one of the best math teachers Ive ever had , she was very clear on all of her math and she also was always there to help when needed. I would 100% take this class because of how good of a math teacher she is ! She also cared for her students, so if you were having trouble she would make sure you understood it.

I really struggled with the quizzes, but she is a good teacher overall. You have plenty of opportunity to learn and do well in the class because she totally makes it possible. I hated the math project requirement, but it forced me to find a real life idea that uses math. Great instructor!

I LOVED prof Morales! She is super caring, very interesting in class and is extremely intelligent! She is accessible outside of class and her lectures make sense. She doesn't give a lot of homework, usually like 10 problems a night. Not bad at all! I loved this class and I am taking her again next semester!

If you understand the material, you'll pass easily. Homework almost every night but she posts the answers. Don't spend money on the textbook until you know exactly which one you're using in class (will probably be an older edition). Might be a big bonus at the end of the semester if you have perfect attendance.

I love how the attendance doesnt effect you because its only 2 points. You not being there is on you and its in you if you miss what is taught in class.

Loved the class even at 7am! I'm usually not a big math fan but Mrs. Morales really made feel like I knew what I was doing. She is very patient and is willing to explain things until you get it. Gonna miss her!

She is so understanding and will accept late work especially if you're struggling. Her lectures are easy to understand and the homework is not substantial. it's enough to practice the content but not over the top! Take her class!

Professor Morales was awesome. She made sure everyone understands the content, and would even reopen the homework assignments so that everyone would have it complete. If youre willing to show up, and put work into it, youll get an A no problem.

She is really sweet, and really understanding. I suck at math but she helped me often with my work, and i finished with a B (2 points from an A). The work is essentially all homework but if you keep up with it and take notes, you'll pass easily.

I am terrible at math and needed this course as a final math class for the nursing program. Taking this course online during COVID was so difficult, but Mrs. Morales provided the materials and content needed for me to be successful. She's very engaging and also very patient. Highly recommend her!

Take it from someone who didn't attend college for years because I was too scared to take a math class. Prof. Morales is amazing! Her class is easy and is open book for all exams. It was nice to take exams and not stress about remembering a formula or not. The only thing I will say is DO NOT forget any assignments. There is no extra credit.

Professor Morales was great! I took her online course, everything was due on Sundays, and exams were open book, she had a ton of resources posted. I took 121 last semester and 141 was easier for those who are worried about the difficulty level for nursing school. Loved this math class!

I took Professor Morales last semester and she was awesome. Exams were all open note and she was quick to respond to emails when I needed help. When I asked for help after class, she was always willing to explain stuff. Additionally, there was some extra credit available in the form of games we played in class. Highly recommend taking her class!
