Don't waste your time. She is the worst.
Avoid this woman at all cost. She's rude, mean, and anal.
Easy class if you know how to do excel, access, spreadsheets, and powerpoint.
Absolutely awful. Rude. Gives no opportunity to do homework. All assignments must be done in class or you turn it in unfinished, which, of course, counts against you. Likes to embarrass students in front of class.
Very easy. Get work done early. You will have a chance to correct it.
Her class is easy especially if you have prior knowledge of Microsoft Office. She is a nice and helpful professor. I had her one day a week, and you can leave when you finish the assignments. Almost always left one hour early.
Easy course especially if you have prior knowledge of computers, I would call it a mostly self paced course where it is easy to get assignments done early, good overall, attendance policy can be annoying since you can lose points for leaving early
she is not the nicest lady in the world.... kinda rude in class.. but the class is so easy.. she pretty much gives you the final during the last few weeks of the course. and gives out three paper review which is the final verbatim. just ignore her =)
easy, i would get bored in class and just surf the internet and i would turn the projects in the next class after doing them at home. i didn't do any of the access homeworks on time, and i turned them all in towards the end of powerpoint (incredibly late), got credit for them all. easiest A ever

ive read where people say teachers are "the worst" ever......however, this one deserves that honor. do yourself a favor and dont ask her a question, if she can embarass you she will...especially in front of others....class itself is not a problem, but that doesnt make her a nice human being.

I love computers and learning, but hated this class. It is self paced and she does absolutely nothing to help. I asked for her help once and she accidentally deleted an entire module that took me the entire class to complete, and all she had to say was "oops, i guess start over." thanks alot.

She really does keep to herself. I dont think she tries to embarass you i just think thats the way she is. I really didnt hear much from her unless I asked for help. Overall she is an ok teacher and there arent many options for this class.
Professor Walker is a nice enough person. However her class is so easy it's boring. I wouldn't take it if you have any knowlege about computers... It's self paced, and when you think you are done with everything, she gives you pointless busy work just to keep you occupied.
Basically work on your own by following the syllabus and textbook to complete projects. Wastes no time and keeps you busy. Provides outstanding preparation for the final. Very helpful throughout. Runs a tight ship. Show up on time and do all the work. Easy A.
She keeps to herself but will assist you if you need it. Great study guides for tests and final. Very simple class, just follow the syllabus and turn in the assignments on time.
This teacher is very unwilling to help you if you require any kind of specail accomadations. For example if you recieve extra time you will not get it. Not understanding at all. I do NOT recommend this teacher.
Super SUPER easy. You can miss class whenever u want, but make sure you turn in the stuff according to the deadline. She just basically leaves you alone in your station doing you work & only talks to you when you got a question for her. But she is sooo sooo easy!

Oh my goodness if you want the easiest A ever earned take it!! She is boring but this is a do it yourself class anyway. It is march and I am done with all but the final! if you have time she lets you redo something and turn it in until you have it right. TEST??? cake! work??? Very moist cake! its great!
I enjoyed the class because I knew nothing about microsoft office so I learned alot. Ms. Walker is moody at times but she is very helpful and clear ahout what is expected of the students. Just beware of her mood swings :) Other than that, she is fine.
Class is extremely easy..no tests, quizes or final...you do use the book...she doesnt lecture, class time is used to finish assignments which are extremely easy.....THIS IS AN EASY A CLASS...NO TESTS, QUIZES OR FINAL...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR.
You will learn how to use Word, Access, Power Point and Excel by hands on work. Not a hard class, but the work takes time. Show up, do the work and you will get an A. Work has to be done in class so there is no homework! I highly recommend this professor!
Professor can be a bit obnoxious at times however the course material is fairly simple. The text offers step by step instructions of all assignments which is easy to follow. Complete all assignments correctly and you will do well.
She changed her schedule many times, and was about as helpful as a rock when i had questions regarding work. She also assigns more work than is possible to finish in a class period so expect makeup time. Does not budge on any assignments. The work is grade exactly and theres no exceptions. Expects you to do makeup time but never can get a computer

The class overall, is very easy. Everything that you have to do is laid out in your calendar. There is a lot of work to do, but if you have worked with MS Word, P.P. or Excel then you will be fine and get an A. Just do the work and you pass.

I walked into this class thinking the professor was going to help me learn different programs that would help in the workforce, but professor Walker did the exact opposite. She doesn't teach at all. She makes you feel uncomfortable when you ask questions. Very unorganized, and not helpful at all. The whole class is based on doing work in the book!
This teacher doesn't do a single thing. She expects you to know how to do everything and talks to you like an idiot. The class would better be described as a joke instead of a class. This teacher should be fired! if you are the type of student that likes tyo know their grade then dont take her. she doesnt know your grades.
This teacher is HORRIBLE! Very easy class but if you don't know how to read don't take this class because she won't help you and you are always wrong!! Extremely unorganized and she will drive you crazy! Worst teacher I have ever taken in my school career!!
She is pretty easy just dont fall behind during class or else ur screwed. No text book needed everythings on the computer. She can be helpful..sometimes. Just do what she says and you shouldnt have a problem passing its easy material anyways and can be helpful in the real world unlike some classes ive taken. O yea and dont even sho up without a USB
Very easy class! Most work is done in class, so there is rarely any homework. She can seem a little intimidating at times, but usually very helpful. Just go to class and try your best. Easy "A"!
She is old, mean, makes you feel stupid if your not sure about something. The class was easy and basically self taught. The tests are on the computer and they are assignments that she has to you in the docs. You get alot of time do the the assignments and she lets you make up work.
She is not mean at all. She is cool and laid back. Just go to class and do your work and you will be fine. Its an easy A. Whenever I asked her questions she helped me out.
Mrs. Walker was an awesome teacher. If you have any basic knowledge of computers before entering the class you'll do fine. The first test on Word is the ONLY somewhat difficult test of the semester, and the only that requires memorization.. Just show up for class EASY A.. Mrs. walker was an AWESOME teacher. All homework done online.
Professor Walker was a great teacher, very easy to understand . The simnet lesson is not mandatory but I would advise anyone taking this class who wants to get a A do the work in the simnet. Attendance is a must do miss any classes if you can. Easy A if you do the work.
This teacher doesn't know a thing about what she is teaching. Dumbest teacher at Valencia. If you know how to use Microsoft Office prior to this class then you will do fine, but do not take this class if you are trying to learn how to use it.
I think professor walker is great! She explains everything in detail and if you get confused takes the time to personally show you what your doing wrong. The lessons are easy to fallow and she does all the assignments along with you so she is always available for questions. I wish more professors were like her!

If you already know how to use Microsoft Office you will find the class extrememly easy yet boring. However, if planning on taking this class to learn how choose a different prof.
SUPER EASY CLASS! This is an easy A. The class doesn't teach you much if you had some prior knowledge of Microsoft Office. She helps you out step by step if you need help. Tests are based on word, excel, access, and power point, which are extremely elementary. She thinks she's funny, but she's not... she means well though.
If you have the slightest familiarity with Microsoft Office, this class will be mind-numbingly easy. However, when some people in my class who weren't very "tech-savvy" asked questions, Walker usually responded condescendingly, impatiently, and almost as if she was being annoyed. Seemed a bit unfair, not the qualities of a great professor.

Very easy class. The assignments ARE NOT WORTH ANYTHING. Fair warning! Most of your grade is the SimNet stuff. She can be rude, but you don't often need to talk to her. Make sure you always look like you're doing work, even if you aren't. Can easily get everything done before duedates.
Really easy class! Doesn't lecture at all, everything you learn is from powerpoint & simnet. I finished with an A and i finished the class two weeks before the end of the semester!!! Highly Recommend for an easy A
She is really rude, but you don't really need to ever talk to her. Assignments and tests are easy if you study for them. She doesn't ever understand any questions so try dumbing it down if you need to ask her things. Good luck!
I couldn't say enough how rude she is. Try not to talk to her if you can help it. Everything that has to do with this class is on Simnet. There is not book and no homework. Show up to class, try your hardest to finish all assignments early like I did, and you'll never have to deal with her again. Good Luck!
It was a decent class. Assignments were pretty much self explanatory. We had to use a program called Sim Net, the instructor had no control over it and you only had 1 try per test so if you screw up your done. The assignments and tests were very easy. All in all I ended up with an A.
This class is ALL BUSY WORK!!! It's the easiest class you will ever take however, extremely boring. Although impatient at times, I thought that Prof. Walker was very nice and helpful just make sure you know exactly what you want help with before you ask her b/c she will get frustrated otherwise.
She was a very helpful teacher and a really nice person. I enjoyed all of her assignments, especially when we had to make our own powerpoint. She thoroughly prepares you for the tests you have to take at Valencia. I recommend the video instructions rather than the written ones. If she taught any other class I needed, I'= would take her again!
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I am a straight A student and I got a B in this class. She claims you dont have content that is clearly there on the projects..I got an F on one! Not to mention her tests are not even on anything in Simnet. Tells you lessons are extra credit and then the entire exam is on them.

Very easy class, took online and entire course work was available starting day 1. Just make sure you complete the work by the due date because no late work is accepted. Great class to take online.

I took this class online and it was by far the easiest class I've ever taken. Some of the lessons can be time consuming but they're really easy and the projects tell you how to complete them step-by-step. The only way you can earn less than an A is if you didn't put in any effort at all! I finished the course early as most everyone in my class did.
Honestly, this class is as easy as it gets. She has everything open the WHOLE semester, so it's basically self-paced. You get up to 25 EC pts which helped a lot for me bc for the exams, you only get 1 chance per question n if u accidentally click something wrong, it marks it automatically wrong so I got an F my first test. Other than that, EASY.
Professor uses Simnet for the class and pawns you off to that day 1. You cannot reach her at all past day 1 and feedback on the program is futile. Simnet often makes errors and also counts incorrect clicks, and Walker will not answer to dispute your input. Very useless if you ask me and a waste of money. Stay Away!
I really liked this professor. She is always ready to help you out when one needs. The course is easy to complete. i finished it by mid February with an A. I highly recommend Reneva Walker FOR THIS COURSE.
The course is easy, everything is open, you can finish at your pace. She is just an administrator, simnet teaches you and grades you, she does nothing. She is definitely a pain in the ass. If you have any errors, something beyond your control happens, she doesn't care. She wont help you and ultimately doesn't care about your grade. Which is sad.
Ultimately, Im not sure if its so much the professor or the program they are using for the spreadsheet applications class but many of us had issues with the training work being incorrect or not clear at best. She had to fix many scores but i pretty much gave up on trying to get a good grade. Taking the "C" and running with it.
Professor Walker cares about all of her students. I had an issue with the first module which was access, and was worried I would have a problem with the other ones. I went to talk to her in person, and she was very nice and showed me her grading criteria and materials to help study, and even invited me to sit in on one of her classes.
The online course was more of working through a third party company, I purchased a code but did not know I needed a book as well. The professor syllabus was not specific, she provided me text book pages but I did not know book was needed. I asked for help by visiting her office, but I guess because it's the summer.
Thanks for 1 attempt for all the assignments and the textbook shows one solution then the assignment shows a different one. Trying to ask for help just gives me the excel file of the practice answers that i already did. Read to understand/ be good at math. but business math using excel not my hand
I took this class online.A chapter of assignments is due each week, however you can work ahead and finish the class earlier. I finished the class a month earlier than when the semester ends. The course is pretty easy and self explanatory. The professor responds quickly if you have any questions. I recommend this teacher. No final exam.
Opens all assignments at the start of the course, doesn't actually do any teaching. Encountered issues with the required online book and platform, which she didn't help resolve at all. Expect a long delay in response to anything you message her. Definitely the worst online professor I've taken in four years of courses.
She opens the course from the start, I finish the whole class in the first two weeks. There is no reading, you just need to able to follow instructions on McGraw Lab. Super easy! If you plan to finish in two weeks you don't even have to buy the text book, just use the free trail from the class!
She has powerpoint slides and youtube videos that are outdated to teach you the entire course. Some chapters have no videos of how to complete the task. Takes forever to get reply through email or calls during hours suggested. Teaching styles are a little dated, but you could complete the class in two to three weeks if you have the time.
Everything was going smoothly until I needed help from this Professor. She does leave the entire course open, so if you work ahead you are more than welcome to. However, she does not change any grades if you submit your documents again. The last three assignments is what dictates entirely your grade.
Took her Computer Fundamentals class, and all the work is online. Not too many assignments per week. No test retakes but 2 attempts on projects. Overall great and easy class.
Do not take this professor. Like others have said she doesn't understand emergency situations so if one happens on the day of finals like what happened to me don't expect to complete the course. Horrible communication and she has no mercy.
She has the grades for the class locked so you do not know what grade you have for the class until she tells you after midterms. The only assignments that actually count for this class is the last two assignments/ projects, so if you get a bad score all that hard work you did for the whole semester was for nothing. She couldn't care less about us
This was the most awful professor I have ever had. She never responds to messages and when she did it was very short and rude. I messaged other students, and they also think she did not try at all to help. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
One of the worst professors I've had EVER. She opens the entire class from the beginning of the semester so you can finish it at your own pace. Everything is on McGraw Hill so you do everything on there. I stopped attending classes after the 2nd week due to how useless it is to show up. Finished the class by late October, 3/10 would not recommend.

Recommend having computer knowledge prior to registering. Responds to emails quickly. -1 star bc her class is outdated and could use a revamp.
AVOID THIS TEACHER/CLASS AT ALL COSTS. This class is FULL of monotonous, draining, and frankly boring lessons that take you through each of the Microsoft programs. For example, one of the lessons has 19 parts, each consisting of 3 other parts, which can also have upwards of 10 parts for 2 of those parts. It's very slow, and VERY boring. AWFUL CLASS

Professor is terrible! She disables grades, so students can't track progress until midway through the term. She lacks empathy for medical emergencies, even with documentation. Only projects are graded, not lessons, which are a waste of time. Assignments are outdated and boring. When messaged, she responds briefly and rudely, offering no real help.
This class was very unorganized the syllabus was outdated for most of the semester. The assignments were also outdated assignments are extremely long. Overall if you need this class to boost your gpa I would definitely recommend for an easy A Grades are disabled so you will need to email the professor before she closes the class for the semester.
All of the assignments were open from day one, so you could finish the class in a week. Gives 2-3 weeks for you to complete assignments, which could vary from 6-7 assignments due on one day. The features used on the assignments and instructions were very outdated, so I had to lend school laptops to finish it. Overall very flexible and chill class.
Her class is easy, but annoying. She locks her grade (for presumably no reason) and is not forgiving about due dates. You could get the class done very quickly, as all the assignments are open though. Overall, sort of annoying professor, but otherwise, incredibly easy.
