He is such a good teacher! I recommend him to anyone! :)
He is a great teacher if you like religion lecturing. You just do your reading and journal writing your good. A paper too but it is easy!
Bro. Butterfield is really an interseting teacher! His upbeat personality really keeps you interested in the lesson! He really knows his stuff, and even though he's brand knew, you wouldn't even know it! Hes alot of fun!
Great teacher! class consists of 2 tests (one is a take home) a paper and a journal. Very useful information. Best religion teacher
His philosophy is religion should not be you hardest class. Some of the reading assignments where big but over all he is a great teacher and I would take from him again.
He is very well-versed in the scriptures. He is good at using the learning model and making the lectures interesting. He is really funny and makes class enjoyable.
This guy is awesome! You learn lots because he brings in the spirit. Not arrogant like some other religion teachers! Seriously, take Butterfield!
Best religion teacher ever! This guy knows everything about anything and he is very entertaining and spiritual. Wanna learn the New Testament? TAKE THIS CLASS
He's extremely knowledgable in the scriptures. He always seemed interested in our lives by going around and talking to classmates about their life before class. I would definitely take a class again from him!
One of my Favorite Teachers. You could actually tell that he lived what he taught. If you attend class every day and do your assignments you will do fine. In fact he is so nice that he even tries to help slcakers which always amazed me! I highly recommend taking his class!
This man is quite possibly the best religion teacher you will ever have! Seriously, he is awesome! First of all, he is a genius when it comes to the scriptures and you can feel the spirit so strong in his class! His work-load is very small, which is a plus. I wish I could take all my religion classes from him!!!
Bro Butterflied is gittey about the scriptures in a good way though. He really knows his stuff. I wish we could have had more class discussions but the class was still very entertaining, which helps me to do well. PS: The work load is not bad at all.
Brother Butterfield was the best religion teacher that i have ever had. He is amazing and very clear when he is explaining what he wants. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
He explains everything very clearly and handles morons who ask dumb questions really well. I learned a lot from him and not because he gave a lot of assignments, but because he made it interesting.
Great at guiding the discussions. He really knows his stuff, and his mannerisms are hilarious!
LOVE his classes! Bro. Butterfield is possibly the best religion teacher ever! I have had 3 religion classes with him and I absolutely enjoy them. He is very knowledgeable of the scriptures and is very helpful. He clarifies when needed and he loves when people participate. He has very funny mannerisms and sayings. Workload is a bare minimum!
He is a excellent teacher! I love him...he's so fun and hilarious! As long as you take notes in his class....you're set!
Bro. Butterfield is obviously prepared to lecture, but will take a discussion anywhere the class wants/needs it to go. You can tell he cares about what he's teaching. He loves students! Some would say there is a lot of reading, but I enjoyed every bit. It was all relevant. He is funny but knows when to be spiritual as well. Take FDREL200 from him!
He is a great man! I really enjoyed his class; you would be a fool to pass up an opportunity to be taught by him.
HE is an exceptional teacher. I absolutely loved his class. I am a religion kind of a guy but this class was better than expected. The work load is not difficult as long as you do the work when asked. You will learn loads from him. Discussion based class.
I really enjoyed his class. He's a funny and just straight up guy. I would suggest him to anyone.
Loved the class. He is very knowledgeable of the scriptures. Has his lectures flow in the direction of the interest of the students. Overall the class work is pretty easy. Grade is approx 30% essay & midterm/final, and 60% attendance/reading/journal entries. The tests are online and are fairly easy to do because almost all of the material tested ov
BEST teacher on campus in my opinion. Awesome discussions every class. Really cares about students. Work load is easy. I HIGHLY recommend him for family foundations.
He is a nice guy. His class is a good work load, but dives off topic unto deep doctrine fairly often. Made it hard to feel the spirit.
what a stud! easiest religion class, but still I learned a lot.
Amazing.
He is a really great guy. I learned so much from his class, and I love his teaching style. He answers questions very well, and is extremely knowledgeable in gospel topics as well as other. I would definitely recommend him, and I hope I will be able to take another class from him sometime.
Don't even think about taking this class from someone else. Super easy A and the class is just discussion. Loved going to it. He's hilarious. You will love him and the class.
I LOVED having Bro. Butterfield. His lectures were always interesting and made you think. We had to read for pretty much every class but it's a Book of Mormon class... you should actually be reading it. We had one semester-long paper, an online mid-term and a thought-provoking but fairly easy final. Love, love, loved his class.
Brother Butterfield was an amazing teacher! I took many insightful notes for myself and not just for the sake of his class. He is really nice and funny, also he does not give out much work! Take him, he is an awesome professor and person!
Brother Butterfield is awesome. The class is super easy and fun. He's such a good guy and he's very humble.
Brother Butterfield is a great man! Super easy, and very fun. I learned a lot and was very inspired. Take his class, it's that simple.
His Book of Mormon class was so much fun! He is an easy teacher but I learned a lot from him. He is very intelligent and expects you to read the material for your journal that is due at the end of the semester. I highly recommend taking this class. Bro. Butterfield is a delightful person to be around and his class was always an open discussion.
I did not enjoy this class. I felt like I was in High School again, and didn't learn much. Brother Butterfield is a nice guy, but I didn't like the way he taught. Its good if you're looking for an easy A class.
great teacher! even though his class was very early, I still enjoyed it
He is a great teacher and truly cares about his students. He is my favorite teacher on campus! Take Book of Mormon from him.
Great Teacher!
Bro. Butterfield is a wonderful teacher and I learned so much about the Book of Mormon. Your grade is based on attendance, daily reading assignment, online midterm, 1 written paper, and a group final assignment in class. Very insightful but not too difficult teacher. He realizes a religion class should not be overwhelming.
He knows religion classes shouldn't be the hardest class you are taking. Class is so fun!!! He has lots of funny sayings and quotes that make the class enjoyable and he packs each class full of doctrine. ITS GREAT!!! HE IS THE BEST!!!!!
I absolutely loved Brother Butterfield's class! He has a great sense of humor and always had us laughing, yet he taught sincerely by the Spirit. I learned so much in this class. All you do is read the assignments, take two open book tests and write a short paper. I suggest taking notes, as they will help on the tests. I highly recommend this class!
Great guy. Really funny very knowledgeable makes class fun. its an easy class
Brother Butterfield will answer ALL your questions instead of dance around them like you might get from other religious teachers. Divorced LDS people in the afterlife, God's life before becoming God, everything. I really admired that about brother Butterfield, and it made the class really exciting to attend. Do your reading and expect an 'A'.
I absolutely love Bro Butterfield's classes and have been enrolled in three classes with him now. He is a fabulous teacher and very kind and knowledgeable. He believes that religion shouldn't be your hardest class. I recommend him to all!!
He will address questions, but sometimes the answer is "I don't know." You have to be okay with that, and he is a stickler on attendance. He will flunk you if you miss too much.
CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH! BEST TEACHER EVER!!!
Best religion teacher.
PROS: Very knowledgeable, funny, spiritual, gives everyone a chance to talk, great discussions CONS: 3-5 page paper (very rewarding though, not harsh grading) thats it... Keep up with your reading assignments and you will do excellent!
I found him to be super annoying and not helpful at all when things went wrong that were his fault. Easy class but don't expect help from the guy.
Brother Butterfield was a great teacher! His classes were always so inspiring and he knows so much, I always left class amazed. I always felt the spirit. I took Writings of Isaiah, the hw were class preps that take about 45 min including the reading, 2x a week. I definately recommend him!
Brother Butterfield is an AWESOME teacher! So funny and so knowledgeable about the Book of Mormon and the history behind it. He keeps you interested and answers your questions as best he can (very rarely can he not answer them). I highly recommend taking Book of Mormon with him!!
Especially didn't like the forty minutes Bro. Butterfield spent telling us that anyone that was divorced or married someone who was divorced wouldn't get into the celestial kingdom, then told us at the end that that was no longer true...teaches to impress and sensationalize the gospel instead of teaching to invite the spirit. Doesn't stay on topic
He is a great teacher. Attendance is most important so plan on attending at least 80% of the time or you'll fail. A lot of it is personal preparation, and he adds good stuff to it. He's a really sweet man and really cares about missionary work. Definitely recommend, just don't take it at 7:45 if you're not a morning person like me.
Bro. Butterfield is really knowledgable about the gospel however he has us do a lot of busy work. IT ISN'T JUST A MID TERM AND FINAL PAPER!!!!! Before every class there is a 30 minute to 1 hour assignment (depending on how much effort you put into it) before EVERY CLASS. prior ratings were very misleading. This is an academic class.
Great teacher. He is very engaging with the students and I really learned a lot!
Really funny and spiritual guy. He's a great teacher that REALLY knows his scriptures, and answers any questions you have with the gospel. He's definitely helped me prepare for my mission more, and I highly recommend this class for anybody preparing for a mission. It's easy, but I loved it!
Okay, so I honestly loved being in his class because he really draws you in and knows his stuff well. BUT he expects you to do A LOT of work. Lots of reading, and long homework assignments for every class. And a paper, midterm, and final. So if you want an easy religions probably don't take from him.
Brother Butterfield knows everything about everything! I loved being in his class because he added so much background and insight to the text. I would definitely take this class again! If you attend class, read you scriptures, and do like 10 assignments, you'll get an A.
Really great professor! He is very nice and has a sense of humor, which makes class much more enjoyable. He has good insights and teachings for his Family Foundations class. I would definitely recommend him!
I took his NT class. Personally I wouldn't take another class from him.He talks about the history or meanings of words than he does about what we should get or learn from this. In his reading assignments he specifically stated don’t get to personal. He says he has a light work but it’s exaggerated. There’s final, midterm,3-5 page paper, and timeline
I really enjoyed this class, He is an excellent teacher and really knows his doctrine! I would recommend him to anyone.
Brother Butterfield was a great teacher. He has a great sense of humor that we saw everyday in class. The pre-class assignments are easy, though some are a bit time consuming, the pre-class quizzes are easy. There are four projects throughout the semester that aren't all that bad. NO TESTS.
Brother Butterfield is awesome! He keeps things interesting and is very smart! For extra fun, count how many times he raises up on his toes while he's talking. His record is 81 so far! (In an hour-long class)
He is a great teacher. Very nice and easy going. You just have to do your reading an answer some questions (such as "what are some messianic prophecies you found on those chapters?" and things like that.) Just do your best and you'll get an A. The final was fantastic. Just one question and as a group.
Loved this class, such an amazing teacher. Only had small little quizzes from the readings and helps you memorize the family proc. I loved him as a teaher
Br. Butterfield is hilarious and REALLY knows his stuff. This was the Isaiah class, so of course it will be hard. But he's very willing to work with you. Sometimes the class gets on tangents, but you often learn more from those than the actual lesson - it's based on what the class wants to learn.
He is the BEST ever! If I could have him as a teacher every semester, I would. He really cares about you and is very funny. His class isnt hard and he has a great teaching style. We have active discussions all the time.
He is a very knowledgeable instructor, who really does care. Even though he is super righteous, he doesn't act like he is above everyone he teaches.
He is quite possibly the worst religion teacher I have had at BYUI
Bro. Butterfield knows the Gospel, and loves it too. Of all the religion classes I've had, his has been the best, hands down. I would highly recommend his class.
GRADES based on his OPINION
He is amazing! I will take every and any class he teaches. He is the best teacher here on campus! He is truly inspired and Love to teach us! He is funny, and does his best to understand and help you!
He's an amazing teacher! I highly recommend him!
This teacher's assignments are so tedious and technical. I don't think it's helping my scripture study. Classes are interesting but the homework is grueling. I hate this class so much and I would drop it if I had the chance but I need the credits.
Brother Butterfield is an excellent teacher and really cares about his classes and students. He is pretty straight forward when grading, but not hard at all if you do the assignments. He adds humor to his classes to help make it more enjoyable and involving while lifting his students spiritually at the same time. One of the best that I have had!
I really enjoyed coming to this class. Brother Butterfield is very smart, and I enjoyed the lectures. The homework assignments were not hard, but they did give me many opportunities to be spiritually enriched outside of class. Bad news is I went to his office to ask him a question, and he quickly turned me away with little help.
Great Professor who really cares about his students. I would recommend Rex to anyone who enjoys a great teacher.
Great instructor that cares about us! I felt like his knowledge is way above mine, but he brings it down to a level I understand. There is a large final, but if you work on it as you do the weekly assignments (apply them to the final each week), then you are done at the end and don't have to scramble a last minute 5 page document.
Brother Butterfield is an awesome teacher, but the tests are extremely hard. There are 7 exams in total in this class. I would say that the Eternal Family is the toughest religion class in general. You have to work really hard to have an A in this class.
By far my favorite Religion teacher. He is so knowledgeable and teaches the doctrine, not his opinions. You will feel the Spirit every day. You do have to memorize the Family Proclamation, though, but it's not as hard as you think. Very open to comments and questions.
He is an amazing. Very understanding of personal situations. His lectures are super interesting. I would definitely take his class again.
Brother Butterfield really cares for his students and wants us to learn, because he is passionate about what he is teaching. He is open to questions, concerns, and is always excited to tell fun doctrine. Must memorize the Family Proclamation, but it is fun to do with my wife on a Sunday. Attendance is graded, so do not miss. Great class!
Brother Butterfield is awesome! He REALLY cares about his students and wants them to do well not only in his class, but in school and in life. He is very caring. There might be some other reviews about heavy reading, but that is just the class. Every teacher is going to have it because it's required. But anyways, Bro. Butterfield is awesome!
He is so funny! He goes into depth and really explains what he is talking about. There is a lot of prep work for each class period, but they really aren't hard. And then there is a quiz after class, but again, not super difficult if you paid attention. A few group projects, but they were interesting. Overall liked the class a lot!
I missed the final for they class because the syllabus and the professor said it's on the syllabus. It clearly was not on the syllabus.
Your biggest grade comes from multiple group projects, that should say it all. Also, your group presentations are graded compared to amazing projects that require good video editing skills, not your average-Joe who doesn't work with those. Class is has lots of tangents, though they are interesting. Really nice professor, but expects too much.
You want to laugh and learn at the same time? Brother Butterfield is the man to do so. He teaches and really knows religion through and through. He cares for his students and wants everyone to succeed. Everything is on the syllabus, if you have questions, he is very prompt in responding to emails. I did learn a lot from this course,!
If I could, I would take every single one of my religion classes from brother butterfield. He really does care to get to know each and every single one of his students, and will tell you that he does not want his class to be your hardest class. There is a homework assignment due before every class, but its super easy as long as you do the reading!
Brother butterfield is extremely caring and has meetings with each student to see how they are doing. He doesnt give too much homework and says that your religion class should not be your hardest class. He is a very good and nice teacher that cares a lot about the students.
He's a great teacher, makes time to get to know you. Usual amount of homework, tests aren't terrible. But his lectures are really great! Very spiritual and enlightening classes.
He has a fun sense of humor in a quirky kind of a way. Very interesting extra tidbits of information in his lectures. Very caring and interested in his students. Very enjoyable class to attend.
Most of the ratings below me say it all; Brother Butterfield is fantastic. He's also not afraid to tackle hard subjects head-on, and is very good at being blunt while being loving at the same time. Very knowledgeable, fills you with extra knowledge that isn't part of the curriculum but is very interesting, great sense of humor, great teacher.
Great teacher. I think everyone in class respects him a lot. As long as you're willing to consistently go to class and write reflections on the reading (about 300 words in length) before each class, it's a pretty easy A. There are exams but you take them on I-learn on your own time. It's not stressful at all.
brother butterfield was my first religion teacher and I can say that teachers like this come once in a lifetime. he was so caring and understanding and funny it made learning the most serious things fun. if you missed a test he would give you an opportunity to make it up so he doesn't set you up to fail. he understand you have a life. he's great!!
Very inspirational class and readings.
Bro Butterfield is one of the few professors that knows how to keep the class engaged the whole time. He's caring, funny, energetic and really direct and honest. You can tell he's a little into himself but the pros weigh it out. Easy tests and the final is chill. He has a great understanding of the gospel but isn't afraid to tell it how it is.
Bro. Butterfield is one of the best professors I've ever had. He genuinely cares and WANTS to help you achieve your dreams. He goes out of his way to make sure you're understanding the material, and if you're falling behind, he lovingly reaches out to you and is determined to bring you back on your feet. We need more people like him in the world.
INCREDIBLE. Honesty, his lectures are incredible, he goes out of his way to make you feel loved, appreciate and to make you laugh. He teaches the doctrine so well and teaches the simple doctrines very well- there is something for everyone to learn in each class. We had 2 quizzes a week that we're very simple and he is a kind grader.
What a real gem, a sweetheart. He will remember your name after two weeks, and really cares about what you say. He is so fun and you learn so much every class period. Keeps it simple and believes in working but not more than is needed.
Super accessible outside of class and cares a lot about every student. One of the nicest guys I've ever met. He gives great lectures, and even though there's group work it's usually pretty good. Really interesting class too. This is for his Pakistan class by the way.
He knows a lot about the book of mormon but does not know how to explain it in a class. His lectures are all over the place and are hard to follow. He is an english teacher so every quiz must be grammatically perfect. The class is easy to get an A but hard to learn anything. Im not the only one that is confused in this class.
From the beginning of the semester I would tell my parents how excited I would be for his class and love to tell them what I learned. He makes it very clear that if you don't show up for class 80% of the time then you will fail. Midterm/Final were easy if you paid attention and the pre-class assignments were generally easy.
I really liked his class, and I definitely learned a lot of new things. He is very knowledgable in the gospel. He does get a little distracted sometimes on tangents, but then he'll get back on track shortly after. He cares about the students and wants all to do well. I do recommend taking 404 and taking it from brother Butterfield.
I believe he means well but he is sarcastic in his lectures and it comes off harsh and rude. I don't like that he is picky about grading papers. This isn't an English class and I wish I could have focused more on what I had learned and applying it to my life rather then if I was gramatically correct with everything I wrote.
Brother Butterfield is my favorite professor. He is so funny and he knows a lot about the scriptures. He is just a wonderful person and his class makes me happy and brings the Spirit. I would take him every time if I could. He also is very supportive of his students. The homework is not bad. I would recommend him highly.
Brother Butterfield was a great teacher! He really lets the spirit guide the class and allows an open discussion when needed. He is very knowledgable about the gospel and anything pertaining to it. There was prep for every class. Hour and a half of reading and a 300 word response. Wasn't terribly hard but time consuming.
Professor Butterfield makes every class enjoyable. His goal is for all to have a spiritual experience about the material, and for his class to be enjoyable. If you do the hour of work before class and are there every lecture (They are for a grade) you will do well in his class. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Take his class!
He cares about his students. Only 300 word assignments due before each class and an easy exam after each unit. My mom got the coronavirus and he found out and in class he prayed for my mom and asked God to bless her. What a great teacher. The final was the proclamation with 200 missing words.
I don't think I would prefer another prof. during COVID. He really gets to know each student and cares about one's well being. Extremely understanding and considerate. He teaches subjects with tact and answers questions with care and a fundamental understanding of the gospel and the people in his classroom.
Brother Butterfireld is a good professor. My only complaint is that his homework for a religion class is excessive. You have to do an hour and a half of reading before each class and write 400 words about what you took away from it. Then after class you have a follow up assignment with another 400 words. Plus multiple projects. It is A LOT!
Brother Butterfield is absolutely amazing. He is the most spiritual teacher I've ever had. He knows the answers to all the tough questions and is just so in tune with the Spirit. His lectures are easy to follow but they go super in depth. He's more than willing to discuss whatever topics you want to in class. He is "sweet like honey butta".
Brother Butterfield is amazing! I learned so much from him about the scriptures and the life of the Savior. He really brings the scriptures to life and I always left each class with new study ideas. I would highly recommend taking any class from him. I thought the prep was very meaningful and helped me to learn more in class. I love him!
easy going and simple instructions
Brother Butterfield is probably the greatest professor I've had here at BYUI. He is very caring and willing to work with students at all levels of understanding. There is a bit of homework, but it's designed to make you reflect so it makes sense. But I've had such a great experience with him that I won't take religion classes with anyone else.
This class was amazing! Brother Butterfield focused more on us learning and loving Isaiah than about testing us. He gave me a love for Isaiah and the Old Testament in general. My studies are better and stronger because of this class. Highly recommend this class and Brother Butterfield. He's hilarious too
Butterfield is kind enough, but he is unclear about what he wants. I am a hard worker for my grades, so I was quite frustrated by how he handled his lack of explanations for assignments. He also talks down to the class sometimes, and I wasn't a fan of that. I usually enjoy my religion classes, but this one has been my least favorite.
This dude is the bomb. He cares so much and wants you to know you can go to him when you're struggling and if you have issues with any other professors or need help on legit anything. He is there for you! Easy class. Minimal assignments.
Butterfield is a really nice guy that is really knowledgeable about the material he is sharing. The class setup is pretty easy. Just daily readings with a small project in the middle and a paper at the end and that's it. Enjoyed learning about different religions, he was good at teaching us from their perspective which I appreciated.
Brother Butterfield is a wonderful teacher. He is very insightful. He is also understanding if you're struggling. However, make sure you attend class! Your grade can depend on it if you've missed too many.
He was an amazing teacher! I would 100% take it again! You have to read talks and some scriptures 2x a week and report online what you learned, Also you occtionally have what he calls "podcasts" but its just a follow along listening....thing. and you don't have to come to class on "podcast" days! but that's about it. Amazing person!
You have to read talks and some scriptures 2x a week and report online what you learned, Also you occasionally have what he calls "podcasts" but its just a follow along listening. and you don't have to come to class on "podcast" days! but that's about it. Amazing person! Beware that online it says due wed but not at 11:59. Late penalty is rough.
I know most like Rex, but he wasn't my favorite. He tended to talk down to the class and got off topic a lot. Rex was also very arrogant and rude while discussing any kind of marriage outside of the temple. If you're queer, don't take his class! It's not gonna be a safe space. I don't think hes awful, but I didn't enjoy going to class by the end.
This class was simple and easy. There are 2 BofM reading assignments each week that take 30 minutes - 1 hour. The class periods were fun and Professor Butterfield is very nice, however, sometimes he can be a bit insensitive to heavy topics. I recommend the class to anyone who wants to study their scriptures more and easily pass the class.
Brother Butterfield is lots of fun. He is really funny and constantly makes jokes throughout class. I learned a ton in my Eternal Families class.
I LOVED Brother Butterfield. There is a lot of reading to do in the class and questions you answer about the homework but all of it is to help you on the final paper at the end of the semester. MAKE SURE YOU DO WELL ON THE N&R (it will help you)! He makes sure that you understand what he is teaching.
Neutral in my feelings for him. He cared for everyone which was good, just hard to get there right after Devotional. Don't have problems with him, just wouldn't really take it again.
Professor Butterfield was delightful, reverent, and respectful of student's beliefs and situations, while still being humorous and engaging. He would also respond to a question with not only an answer, but a source to delve into the topic more specifically, often quoting scripture without hesitation. Highly recommend, amazing spiritual experience.
Bro. B. is an amazing teacher. I love the way he taught. He has a very powerful way of teaching. I started out the semester hating religion classes. It took Bro. B like two weeks to change my mind, without even trying. Religion classes are only as good as the lectures are and his lectures were on point.
Great class and a wonderful professor. Requires a bit more than other religion teachers but it is well worth it. I highly recommend this class to everyone.
Professor Butterfield runs a solid course, though his teaching style can be polarizing. The workload is reasonable, and he genuinely cares about student success. unstuck study proved a helpful supplement for reviewing course materials.
Very fun and kind, with little pressure and an interesting course.
I LOVE Brother Butterfield! He is great at focusing on what matters and cutting out the rest, and he references doctrine often instead of giving an opinion. This class transformed the way I look at the family and God's plan! The only work is prep assignments for each class and a final paper, both of which ask for nothing more than genuine thoughts.
Brother Butterfield is easily the best religion teacher I have had so far. I took his REL 390R class and loved every minute of it. His out-of-pocket comments and dad-jokes are hilarious and the Spirit is always present during his lectures. Assignments are easy and the final was super simple. 10/10 would recommend.
Brother Butterfield was awesome! He truly cares for each student and wants each to succeed! He is very understanding when unexpected outcomes occur! He also knows so much and has a very strong testimony! Tests and assignments are pretty easy! He is also hilarious and makes out of pocket comments and jokes that make class more enjoyable!
Super awesome! Super knowledgeable of the scriptures and super funny! Also...encourage him to chase those squirrels! (speech tangents). PARTICIPATE you'll have much funner of an experience!
Amazing professor! He was hilarious and actually wants to make sure that we understand the gospel. Every class there is a reading we have to do and answer a question from that reading in 300 words. After each class there is a N&R that we have to do but it is in preparation for the final. Overall great professor!
I have no complains! He brought good points up in class and made it apply to us! I remember readings were due right before class and a few things due after class. Not too much work to make it all a headache. Great classes.
